Heartbreaking Insights Emerge in the Death of Jackson Browne’s Son Ethan

A somber discovery was made by medical responders when they found Ethan Browne, son of musician Jackson Browne, lifeless in his apartment.

Upon their arrival, paramedics encountered Ethan clutching a straw and lighter, surrounded by an array of narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and medications scattered throughout his bedroom, as detailed in a medical examiner’s report acquired by Us Weekly.

Beside his body, a glass pipe with crystal-like residue and burnt foil was present on the nightstand. The room contained vaping devices, “whip-it” cartridges, and numerous prescription medications, the report further described.

In addition, the report highlighted the discovery of a box on Ethan’s bed, which held suspected illegal drugs and paraphernalia. He was pronounced dead on the spot.

Ethan’s roommate found him unresponsive in his bedroom on November 25, 2025, around 8:24 a.m., according to the official report.

His roommate recounted his last moments with Ethan, revealing he “seemed off” and was “possibly under the influence of drugs” at around 8 p.m. the night before his death.

Ethan was last known to be alive at 10:30 p.m. when he went to bed.

As Page Six previously reported in January, the Los Angeles ME confirmed that Ethan died on Nov. 25, 2025, from the “effects of fentanyl, methamphetamine and lidocaine.” He was 52.

The same day of Ethan’s death, his father, Jackson, announced the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post, sharing that his son had been found “unresponsive in his home.”

“It is with deep sorrow that we share that on the morning of November 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, the son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away,” Jackson’s statement read.

“We ask for privacy and respect for the family during this difficult time. No further details are available at this moment.”

The famed singer-songwriter welcomed Ethan with Phyllis Major in 1973. The pair tied the knot in 1975.

Jackson’s marriage to Major ended in 1976 when she tragically died by suicide at age 30.

In 2021, Jackson reflected on Major’s death in an interview with Route Magazine, saying his son became his “main focus” afterward.

Ethan grew up to make a career for himself as an actor and model.

He went on to star alongside Angelina Jolie in 1995’s “Hackers.” In 2004, he starred in the film “Raising Helen” with Kate Hudson.

Machine Gun Kelly Joins Cleveland Cavaliers Game Festivities Amidst Excitement for Upcoming Baby with Ex Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly showed his support for the Cleveland Cavaliers during their matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday evening at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

The 34-year-old artist sported a vibrant red Cavaliers baseball cap, complemented by sleek dark sunglasses.

Colson Baker, famously known as MGK, exuded style in an oversized leather bomber jacket layered over a crisp white shirt.

Enjoying the game from his courtside seat, MGK appeared in high spirits as he leisurely drank and conversed with friends.

Despite his enthusiastic presence, MGK’s favored Cavaliers fell to the Clippers with a final score of 132-119.

It comes weeks after MGK said the imminent birth of his second child will be ‘bittersweet’ following the recent death of one of his best friends.

While mourning the loss of his longtime pal, Australian snowboarder Luke ‘The Dingo’ Trembath, 38, the rapper expressed his profound sadness that his ‘brother’ won’t be around to meet his and former fiancée Megan Fox’s baby, who is due any day.

‘Crazy… I didn’t even cry this hard when my dad died. I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother,’ he wrote in an emotional Instagram tribute on Friday.

He continued: ‘We’ll never get another Dingo on this planet. A true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honor of knowing.’

‘I’ll miss your epic toasts, I’ll miss dapping you up and my hand hurting everytime because you had some odd amount of Australian strength goin on, I’ll miss your bellyflops, I’ll miss watching you walk through the door and lifting the energy of every pivotal event in my adult life, I’ll miss you pissing me off, but most of all I’ll miss your laugh. you were the glue between all of us.

Kelly went on to reflect on how telling his daughter, Casie, 15, the news was one of the ‘hardest phone calls’ he ever had to make because she loved him ‘so much.’

‘I’ll never forget when she was too young to understand your name was Dingo so she called you Ping Pong,’ he mused.

‘I feel like your up there with my new child, dressed up in a hilarious costume making them laugh, getting ready to send them down. I couldn’t ask for a more bittersweet birth blessing,’ he added.

Kelly concluded his caption by writing: ‘Life will always be less without you, but legends never die. we’ll all miss you brother.’

Last month, a source told Page Six that Fox has been leaning on her older sister, Kristi Fox, as she prepares to give birth to her fourth child.

Despite the breakup, the insider insisted that MGK has ‘every intention’ of being an active part of his child’s life.

‘He and Megan have still been in communication,’ the source added. ‘He loves Megan and wants nothing more than to be a family unit.’

Fox’s sister Kristi, 50, lives her life out of the spotlight as a guidance counselor.

The Transformers star, 38, and MGK broke up in November 2024 after dating for four and a half years.

They split two weeks after they revealed they were expecting their first child together.

While the two have been texting from time to time as they await the birth of their baby, the Jennifer’s Body star has made it clear that she will never get back together with him.

‘Megan is moving forward independently and is not interested in revisiting the past,’ a source told Us Weekly last month.

‘Megan is focused on her pregnancy and not looking back. She is deeply hurt by how things ended but is focusing on healing.’

And while the actress is setting her sights on the future and moving on, MGK is on the other side of the spectrum.

The rapper is reportedly ‘struggling’ to accept his new reality and is attempting to repurpose ‘his energy into self-improvement.

‘He has been focusing on mental health and getting back in shape,’ the source insisted. ‘He’s heartbroken but trying to move forward.’

With her baby on the way, the Subservience star is ‘taking extra care of herself and focusing on a healthy pregnancy.’

And insiders suggest she’s prioritizing a calm and healthy environment until further notice.

The couple have been on-off over the years but sources say Fox is not interested in another reconciliation.

‘MGK would like to reconcile, but Fox is firm in her decision to move on,’ the source said. ‘She does not see a future with him anymore. She doesn’t want to put herself in the same position again with him anymore. She wants to break the cycle.’

Fox was formerly married to Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green, 51.

They share kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight, and were famously on and off, breaking up once during their engagement and once during their marriage and reconciling both times.

Fox and MGK first connected in 2020 after working on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass together.

MGK proposed in 2022 and during their engagement, they broke up and got back together several times.

Fox revealed that she suffered a pregnancy loss in November 2023 that took a toll on her and Kelly’s relationship.

‘I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart,’ Fox said in an interview with Good Morning America.

‘Trying to navigate, “What does this mean?” and “Why did this happen?”‘

According to Us Weekly’s source, even though Fox and Kelly are no longer a couple, their baby is the ‘greatest gift’ they still share.

Relentless Jihadist Sentenced to 17 Years in Jail for Chilling Terror Plot

In wake of a tragic attack at a Manchester synagogue last October that claimed the lives of two congregants, the city’s police chief has publicly expressed profound regret for failing to thwart the crime. The official acknowledged a significant “missed opportunity” to investigate the perpetrator beforehand.

Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson of Greater Manchester Police offered his apology as one of Jihad Al-Shamie’s associates was sentenced to life imprisonment. The associate was convicted of plotting with Al-Shamie to assault Israeli soldiers at a UK military training facility two months prior to the synagogue attack.

Newly uncovered information reveals that police seized two mobile phones from Al-Shamie months before he crashed his vehicle into Heaton Park Synagogue in October 2025.

These devices were confiscated after Al-Shamie was detained on February 13, 2025, on a charge of breaching a non-molestation order, and then again on September 21 for an alleged rape incident.

Unfortunately, crucial messages, in which Al-Shamie spoke of preparing for conflict and expressed a desire to leave this world, were not scrutinized until after the devastating attack occurred.

Examination of his phones also revealed that, two months before the attack, Mohammad Bashir, 31, a delivery driver who lived with his parents, had driven the terrorist on a reconnaissance mission to the UK Defence Academy at Shrivenham in Oxfordshire.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has launched an inquiry and the issue is also expected to be examined by the inquest into the attack.

As ‘committed jihadist’ Bashir was today jailed for life for plotting to attack the military base, Sir Stephen apologised to the families of Melvin Cravitz, 66, who was stabbed to death by Al-Shamie, and Adrian Daulby, 53, who was tragically struck by a stray bullet when officers gunned down the terrorist, who was wearing a fake suicide belt.

‘In conducting an internal review, it became apparent that Greater Manchester Police had seized Al-Shamie’s mobile devices, at the point of each arrest,’ he said.

‘The significance of the data contents of these devices was substantial in respect of evidencing an extremist mindset.

‘Regrettably, I can confirm that the significance of the information stored on Al-Shamie’s devices was not realised as they had not been examined before the attack took place on October 2, 2025.

‘It is for the IOPC and the Coronial Inquests to determine the impact of not reviewing the contents of the devices.

‘There can however, be little doubt that the information contained within these devices would have inspired further investigative action.

‘It is clear that our not having reviewed the data available to us prior to the attack constitutes a missed opportunity.

‘I am disappointed at the prospect of adding to the distress of all of those affected by the terrible events last October.

‘For this, I am deeply sorry.’

Al-Shamie, from Prestwich, Greater Manchester, drove his black Kia Picanto into a security guard outside the synagogue on October 2, 2025 before stabbing to death Mr Cravitz as worshippers barricaded themselves inside.

Tragically a stray bullet killed Mr Daulby, who was among those preventing the attacker from entering the building.

Al-Shamie and Bashir previously plotted to attack the UK Defence Academy in order to target soldiers from the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) who they believed were being trained there, Manchester Crown Court heard yesterday.

It provides defence and security education to the British Armed Forces, UK government, industry and overseas personnel and routinely has up to 4,000 staff, contractors, students and visitors on site at any given time, the court was told.

Bashir drove Shamie’s car on a ten-hour round trip from Manchester on August 14, 2025 despite being uninsured.

The pair spent 13 minutes in the area of the Defence Academy in Shrivenham before returning.

At around that time Al-Shamie made an entry in his iPhone notes entitled ‘Espionage’ which the court heard was ‘plainly’ a description of the reception area of the base.

Both Bashir and Al-Shamie deliberately disposed of their mobile phones after carrying out the hostile reconnaissance, Mr Polnay told the court.

Ultimately no attack was launched.

But within hours of Al-Shamie’s killing by armed police outside Heaton Park Synagogue, the seized handsets were being examined by counter-terrorism police.

Messages he had swapped were quickly downloaded and analysed, leading to a series of arrests.

Six people were arrested on the day of the attack, followed by Bashir when he returned from Pakistan on November 27.

A warrant was also obtained for Al-Shamie’s online iCloud storage.

The searches uncovered WhatsApp and voice note exchanges between the two jihadis, including a chat group called ‘Aspiring to the Ranks of the Elite’ of which they were both members.

Bashir sent over 2,000 messages to the group and prosecutor Jonathan Polnay KC said he was a ‘long-standing, committed jihadist’.

His messages with Al-Shamie ‘demonstrated they were both close associates and both shared in an extremist worldview,’ he added.

In one exchange, on November 18 2024, Al-Shamie told Bashir how he had been working out at home and invited him to play football with him, adding: ‘May Allah grant you strength and make u even more war ready.’

Bashir told him: ‘Inshallah akhi [god willing brother], I’m gonna get on it. Then I’m gonna call out the biggest Jews to scrap.’

Al-Shamie (pictured outside the synagogue during his deadly attack) travelled from Syria to Britain with his family as a young child and was granted UK citizenship in 2006, when he would have been around 16

Al-Shamie (pictured outside the synagogue during his deadly attack) travelled from Syria to Britain with his family as a young child and was granted UK citizenship in 2006, when he would have been around 16

On December 2, Al-Shamie sent a voicemail to Bashir saying he wanted to go and fight in Syria, where he was born.

‘I’ve had enough of this world,’ he added.

‘I’ve had enough of this life. I’ve had enough of all of it akhi [brother].

‘I don’t want to live in this miserable city, in this dunya [worldly life], for much longer uksumbillah [I swear by Allah].’

CCTV footage from the Al-Sunnah Mosque in Manchester – combined with data from Al-Shamie’s handset – demonstrated that both men were planning a terrorist attack on the Defence Academy, Mr Polnay said.

On the afternoon of August 9, 2025, both men arrived at the mosque in Al-Shamie’s Kia.

They sat in the car for 40 minutes while Al-Shamie carried out an internet search for ‘IDF soldiers UK’.

It led them to an article about Israeli army officers studying at the Royal College of Defence Studies in central London.

The pair re-entered the mosque at 7.10pm and sat down at the back – believing ‘erroneously’ that they wouldn’t be on camera, Mr Polnay said.

Instead, CCTV played to the court showed them reading the article at the back of a deserted prayer hall, checking no one else was around.

Al-Shamie then said: ‘Allahuakhbar, allahuakbar’ [god is great] and added: ‘There is no doubt that there will be Israeli IDF guys there.’

Bashir added: ‘You got to look into it bro, look into it, this is the place, this is the place.’

Al-Shamie said they could ‘just storm the place’ and told Bashir: ‘You’re a better driver than me, sometimes, I can’t view a map, I get stressed, I miss the exit.’

Bashir said there was ‘no doubt, no grey area’ and Al-Shamie added: ‘I wish we had a weapon. We need to get one, crossbow.’

He added: ‘Anyone working there, gone. Women and men.’

Bashir meanwhile stood up and gestured as though he was holding an assault rifle, saying he was ‘really excited’.

Al-Shamie told him that before they went on the ‘mission’ they would need to ‘say bye to loved ones’ and pay off any debts.

‘Of course,’ Bashir replied.

As they exit the mosque, Al-Shamie says: ‘It’s exciting.’

Bashir replies: ‘This is like, this time next year, we will be in green birds.’

Mr Polnay said a terrorism expert had noted that in Islamic literature, the ‘green birds of paradise are intimately linked to notions of martyrdom’.

Ultimately no attack on the Defence Academy or other military establishment took place.

The Crown said there was no evidence to suggest Bashir was involved in the planning of the attack at Heaton Park.

On his arrest, Bashir provided a prepared statement in which he described Al-Shamie as ‘clingy, obsessive and possibly depressed’ and said he was ‘disgusted’ by his mindset which ‘goes against the religion completely.’

He denied advance knowledge of the attack at the synagogue, saying he ‘never thought in a million years that Jihad would do something like that.’

‘It made me feel sick,’ he added.

Mohammed Nawaz KC, defending, told the court his family regarded him as a ‘decent, caring, hardworking man’.

But two years before the plot he had befriended Al-Shamie, connecting over ‘similar family issues about ex-partners’ before discussing passages from the Koran.

Bashir claimed that after the reconnaissance trip to Oxfordshire he ‘distanced’ himself from Al-Shamie because he no longer wanted to be involved in an attack.

However prosecutor Mr Polnay said the Crown was ‘sceptical’ about this claim, saying there was ‘no evidence he has disavowed violent jihad’.

Police say the mosque where the pair were captured plotting ‘fully co-operated’ with their investigation.

Bashir, of Cheetham Hill, Manchester, pleaded guilty in June to preparing a terrorist attack and disseminating terrorist material encouraging martyrdom over WhatsApp.

Jailing Bashir today for life with a minimum of 17 years, judge Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb said he had been ‘equally engaged and enthusiastic’ as Al-Shamie about the plan and his sentencing ‘must stand as a warning’.

Afterwards Assistant Chief Constable Rob Potts, head of Counter-Terrorism Policing North West, said Bashir was a ‘very dangerous man’ who was an ‘equal partner’ with Al-Shamie in the plot to attack the Defence Academy.

‘They were they were both vociferous in their extremist, antisemitic, deep rooted beliefs,’ he added.

Welcoming the life sentence imposed on Bashir, the Community Security Trust – whose volunteers were on duty when Al-Shamie attacked the synagogue – today thanked police and prosecutors.

But in a statement, the charity said would ‘obviously be distressing for the bereaved families, survivors, and the wider Jewish community to now learn that evidence relating to Jihad Al-Shamie’s extremist mindset was available to police but not examined prior to the terrible attack’.

Saying it ‘appreciated’ the chief constable’s apology, the group said it should not ‘detract’ from the ‘courage’ shown by police on the day or the ‘continuous support’ his force had subsequently given to Manchester’s Jewish community.

Police watchdog the IOPC today said it was investigating ‘all previous contact between Greater Manchester Police and Jihad Al-Shamie’ before the attack on October 2, 2025.

‘This includes the actions taken by police in response to reports of crimes committed by him,’ a spokesman added.

‘As part of our investigation, we will consider whether GMP missed any opportunities to prevent the tragic events that occurred last year.’

Last week GMP made them aware of ‘information relevant to these inquiries’ that had been recovered from devices seized as part of their investigation into Al-Shamie.

It is understood they have advised one officer that they are under investigation for potential misconduct in relation to their handling of allegations of rape and other sexual offences against Al-Shamie, although that does not necessarily mean that disciplinary proceedings will follow.

US Unemployment Filings Plummet to 54-Year Low, Sparking Economic Optimism

WASHINGTON – In a remarkable turn of events, claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. have plummeted to levels unseen in over fifty years, signifying a resilient job market even amidst global economic jitters.

For the week concluding on July 18, requests for unemployment aid fell sharply by 22,000, totaling just 187,000, according to Thursday’s update from the Labor Department. This figure marks the smallest number of jobless claims since September 6, 1969, based on the department’s archives.

These numbers have far exceeded expectations, dipping well below the 215,000 anticipated by analysts surveyed by FactSet.

Weekly unemployment claims serve as a near-instant gauge of layoffs, providing an immediate snapshot of the strength of the U.S. employment landscape.

Despite the spike in oil prices following the U.S.’s military maneuvers against Iran, the job market remains robust with minimal layoffs. Yet, experts caution that ongoing conflict and persistently high energy prices could eventually pressure businesses to cut costs through workforce reductions.

“The economic crisis caused by the energy supply shock is not over yet,” said Carl Weinberg, chief economist at High Frequency Trading. “But the labor market has yet to show any sign of wear and tear from the surge in oil prices.”

The price for a barrel of U.S. crude surged nearly 5% early Thursday to more than $91. That’s the highest level in about six weeks. Gas prices in the U.S. are also back up above $4 a gallon on average. That not only squeezes consumers’ budgets, but also hits businesses hard, especially those which are heavily dependent on fuel.

In its expansive June jobs report earlier this month, the government reported that employers pulled back on hiring, adding only 57,000 jobs. That’s less than half the previous month’s total and a sign that companies remain cautious about adding to their head counts. The unemployment rate dropped to 4.2% from 4.3% in May, though that decline is mostly because many out-of-work people gave up looking for jobs and were no longer counted as unemployed.

June’s tepid hiring comes after a relative surge in job gains the previous three months, countering concerns that the war in Iran could trip up an already wobbly labor market.

Weekly jobless aid applications have stabilized in a range mostly between 200,000 and 250,000 since the U.S. economy emerged from the pandemic recession. However, hiring began slowing about two years ago and tapered further in 2025 due to President Donald Trump’s tariffs, his purge of the federal workforce and the lingering effects of high interest rates meant to control inflation.

Among the companies that have trimmed their workforce recently are Verizon, UPS, Amazon, Disney, Starbucks and Walmart.

Earlier this month Microsoft said it was cutting 4,800 jobs, about 2.1% of its global workforce, including a large number of workers at its Xbox video game business.

Thursday’s layoffs data showed that the four-week moving average of weekly jobless claims, which adjusts for volatility, fell by 7,250 to 207,500.

The total number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits for the previous week ending July 11 was down by 2,000 to just under 1.8 million, also a historically healthy figure.

Father Sentenced for Suffocating Infant After Making Disturbing Death Threat

In Ohio, a father is set to face at least ten years behind bars for his horrific actions that led to the death of his infant daughter. The 30-year-old admitted in court to fatally swaddling his 4-month-old so tightly that it obstructed her breathing.

Last week, Marcellaus Nekie Malone acknowledged his guilt by pleading guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment, linked to the tragic events of December 2025, according to court documents.

Clermont County Common Pleas Judge Jason E. Nagel handed down a sentence to Malone, consisting of three years for child endangerment and another seven to 13 and a half years for manslaughter, to be served consecutively.

The plea deal led prosecutors to dismiss other charges, including murder, domestic violence, and several additional child endangerment counts.

As Law&Crime previously reported, officers with the Milford Township Police Department responded to Malone’s apartment on Dec. 11, 2025, in response to a report of an unresponsive infant. Upon arriving at the address, emergency medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures but were unable to revive the infant. They transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Malone had been engaged in an escalating “pattern of abuse” that stretched back at least two months. Surveillance footage recovered from the home also showed him behaving in an increasingly abusive manner toward his daughter. From the release:

Investigators discovered a video of Malone making threats to the baby, telling her that she was “going to be a dead baby,” and that he was going to toss her on the bed if she “p—ed [him] off.” It was further revealed that as a punishment for crying, Malone would tightly swaddle the infant, including her head, to the point she could not breathe and would pass out. He told her that if she wanted to stop getting swaddled like that, she would have to stop crying. Not only would Malone cut off the baby’s breathing as a result of her fussing, but on at least one occasion, he punched the infant in the face for crying, causing a significant bruise.

The night of the child’s death, authorities said the infant had been “particularly fussy.” After the child’s mother swaddled her appropriately, Malone took the child and placed her in a bassinet in another room and “was the last person to see the baby alive.”

“The infant’s autopsy revealed no other reason for her death, but documented as a contributory cause of death, a ‘[r]eported history of occlusion of the nose and mouth by swaddling of the body and head,'” the release said.

Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve previously described the allegations against Malone as “unthinkable.”

“Children are our most precious gifts. It is unthinkable that this innocent child could have been treated in such a callous and evil manner,” he said. “This Office is dedicated to holding accountable those who would do such unspeakable violence to our county’s most vulnerable.”

Duncan James Shocks Fans with Dramatic Transformation on Celebrity MasterChef

Viewers were taken by surprise when Duncan James from Blue revealed a completely transformed appearance during Monday’s segment of Celebrity MasterChef.

At 43, the singer and actor had admitted he was anxious about online trolls possibly targeting him after experiencing weight gain and opting for Botox treatments, prior to his participation in the culinary competition.

The iconic blond highlights of his boy band era had disappeared, making way for a well-groomed beard. This change left some fans struggling to identify the pop star with his fresh look.

'Had to Google to confirm it was him!' Blue's Duncan James, 43, looked unrecognisable as he appeared  on Celebrity MasterChef on Monday (right, pictured in 2003)

“Had to Google to confirm it was him!” At 43, Blue’s Duncan James was nearly unrecognisable to viewers as he took part in Celebrity MasterChef on Monday (right, pictured in 2003).

Fans flocked to Twitter to express their surprise over his transformation, with one user exclaiming: “Anyone else find it hard to recognise Duncan James tonight on @MasterChefUK…?”

Another wrote: ‘I had to take a second look at Duncan James on Masterchef I can’t tell exactly what work he’s had done but he definitely looks different.’

One viewer penned ‘Catching up with Masterchef. Had to rely on Google to confirm that was actually Duncan James’.

Blue – which also featured Antony Costa, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe – formed in 2000, with all four members quickly becoming household names.

Unrecognisable: On Monday night's episode many viewers had to do a double take to figure out who he was, because his appearance has changed that much

The comments come after Duncan assumed he would be trolled over his change in looks, ahead of his appearance on the programme.

Speaking on Friday’s Good Morning Britain, he insisted that ‘something has to change’ as he detailed the online abuse he’s received and called for social media to have stricter verification processes before people can create accounts.

He admitted: ‘It’s terrible actually. Probably after MasterChef I’m gonna get a load of abuse because I had a bit more weight on there, and had a bit of Botox before I went in…’

While pinching between his eyebrows, the actor added: ‘So I have got a bit of the old eyebrow thing going on because it hadn’t settled.

‘So one thing I’ve learned is, never go on national television with fresh Botox!’

Duncan asserted: ‘Online trolling is disgusting. Personally I believe that verification is needed [to have a social media account].

‘If you are going to say something you’ll have to own what you say… If you went on television and say it you’d get crucified – something has to change!

‘I have daughter who’s 16 and she’s had trolling in her life, it’s not nice for anybody.’

In a more upbeat part of the conversation, Duncan touched upon the idea of a Blue reunion for their 20th anniversary, which he’s still hopeful for.

He said: ‘It’s been a really weird year, well it has for everyone, but for Blue especially. We had our 20th anniversary in May, but we obviously couldn’t celebrate.

‘Lee lives in Spain at the moment and has just had a baby, Simon has had a baby, there’s a bit of a baby bloom in Blue at the moment.

‘Just trying to get us all together has been literally impossible, unfortunately so we’ll just have to see what happens.

‘Covid has put dampener on everything. Hopefully it [a Blue reunion] will happen, we’ll just have to see.’

Unanswered Questions Amid Rising Cyclosporiasis Cases

The United States is currently experiencing a concerning rise in cases of cyclosporiasis, an intestinal infection caused by a tiny yet troublesome parasite.

According to recent figures released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday, there are now over 11,500 reported cases scattered across 41 states. Of these, around 4,100 have been confirmed through laboratory testing, while approximately 7,400 cases remain to be officially verified.

In a parallel investigation, health authorities are delving into an outbreak that seems to be linked to the shredded iceberg lettuce used at Taco Bell outlets in five states: Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.

This particular lettuce was supplied by Taylor Farms de Mexico, hailing from central Mexico. In response to these developments, the firm has proactively announced a voluntary recall of all its iceberg lettuce offerings.

While there’s been progress in identifying the affected regions and potential causes of the infection, several critical questions remain unanswered about the ongoing outbreak. Here’s what we’re still trying to uncover:

Scope of the outbreak

So far, the CDC has only confirmed 4,100 cases, but case counts reported by individual state health departments are higher.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed at least 7,171 cases linked to an outbreak, according to

Prince Harry’s Latest Move Stuns King Charles – Shocking Rift

In the midst of last month’s intense British heatwave, 250 delegates convened in the historic Throne Room at St James’s Palace for a climate change reception.

This iconic London venue, lacking air conditioning, turned into a challenge for attendees trying to endure the high temperatures. Despite efforts to shield the room with drawn curtains and strategically placed large fans, the heat remained pervasive.

Amidst the sweltering conditions, one individual stood unyielding: King Charles. Ever impeccably dressed, he kept the top button of his shirt fastened and made no move to remove his jacket, a signature piece from his grey Anderson & Sheppard suit.

His solitary nod to the heat’s challenge was an occasional, discreet wipe of his brow with a lilac silk handkerchief, perfectly coordinated with his Turnbull & Asser tie.

Concerned for the King, especially given his ongoing treatment for an unspecified cancer, Vice Admiral Sir Tony Johnstone-Burt, the Master of the Household, made a valiant attempt to provide relief by positioning an electric fan near the monarch’s head.

It was only the latest example of the King’s determination to maintain standards in a world where such matters are increasingly considered to be of little or no importance.

The trend towards more relaxed dress codes was highlighted this week by our new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, a career politician who likes to burnish his ‘man of the people’ credentials by dressing as informally as possible.

Indeed, Burnham’s aides let it be known that he would wear a shirt and tie only when he was at the Houses of Parliament. On other occasions, he would wear casual outfits such as his favourite dark blue T-shirt and jeans.

Burnham donned a suit and tie for his visit to Buckingham Palace on Monday when he met the King and was asked to form a government. He promptly discovered that he would not be known as ‘Andy’ by the palace but the more formal ‘Andrew’.

The Court Circular, the official record of royal engagements undertaken by working members of the Royal Family, reported the next day: ‘His Majesty received in audience the Rt Hon Andrew Burnham MP and requested him to form a new Administration.’

The moniker may have come as a surprise to Burnham, whose Labour campaign posters in the Makerfield by-election had all screamed: ‘Vote Andy’.

But the King is not the only member of the Royal Family who believes in maintaining formal terms of address. His sister, Princess Anne, once had an awkward exchange with the wife of a previous Labour prime minister, Tony Blair, during the couple’s first visit to Balmoral to stay with the late Queen Elizabeth II at her beloved Scottish residence.

Lancashire-born Cherie Blair recalled in her memoirs, Speaking For Myself: ‘At one point in that first year, Princess Anne came over and said something that included “Mrs Blair”. “Oh. Please call me Cherie,” I said. “I’d rather not,” she replied. “It’s not the way I’ve been brought up.”’

Cherie added that her relationship with the princess ‘went rapidly downhill and never recovered’.

While the King tried valiantly to uphold standards, his younger son seems determined to lower them. Prince Harry appeared in a podcast which was so un-regal that it came with a warning on the BBC Sounds website: ‘Contains very strong language, adult humour and some scenes of a sexual nature.’

On the X-rated podcast, Joe Marler Will See You Now, Harry gave his occupation as ‘Prince of England’ before proceeding to use foul language in the discussion with the former England rugby player, which covered subjects such as the grooming of their body hair.

It represented a new low for the duke, who had used his memoir, Spare, to disclose, among other things, how he had lost his virginity in a field behind a pub and used a cream with a scent that reminded him of his late mother Diana to treat frostbite on his penis after an expedition to the North Pole.

This week, I asked a friend of the King about his determination to maintain standards. He told me: ‘His Majesty believes that monarchy needs to be dignified.’

Clearly, that message hasn’t got through to all members of his family…
