Rhian Sugden Opens Up About Vernon Kay Scandal Revelation

Rhian Sugden, once known for her time as a Page 3 model, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding her alleged involvement with DJ Vernon Kay, who was married at the time. Their paths crossed in a nightclub back in 2010, while Vernon was still with Tess Daly. Following their meeting, the two exchanged numbers and maintained contact through texts for about four months. Notably, Vernon was also exchanging messages with several other women during this period.

Vernon has always claimed that his messaging with Rhian and others was just friendly banter, asserting that he never behaved inappropriately. He publicly apologized to Tess for the situation. Earlier this year, Vernon and Tess announced that they were ending their marriage. In a joint statement, they mentioned, “After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably.”

Now at 39, Rhian has candidly shared her side of the story in her newly released autobiography. She explained to The Mirror, “Of course there’ll be mention of him [Vernon, in the book] but I think people are expecting some wild revelation about a sordid affair that didn’t happen.”

She further expressed frustration by stating, “People get less of a sentence for murder. I’d understand if there’d been a full-blown affair, but there wasn’t. Yet somehow, nearly 20 years later, it’s still something that follows me around.”

She added, “I’ve spent years building a career and businesses that I’m incredibly proud of, and I’d much rather people talked about those than one chapter of my life that refuses to go away.”

Sources also claimed that the book “isn’t about reopening old wounds or settling scores”, adding: “Rhian and Vernon both moved on with their lives, but somehow it’s always Rhian whose name gets dragged back into the headlines.”

Back in 2020, Rhian said: “He just got away with it. It ruined everything for me. I felt like I was going up and up with my career and then that came along. I wish I’d never met him.”

Vernon apologised on BBC Radio 1 to his wife and called himself an “idiot” for his part in the messages.

He also shared his side of the story on I’m A Celeb, telling his campmates: “All that stuff is in the past, we’ve forgotten about that, we’ve moved on. It’s all gone. It’s disappeared.”

Dispatch Audio Reveals Officer’s Suspicion of Brooke Hanlon’s Death Minutes After Arrival

0

Within moments of arriving at the tragic scene involving New Jersey psychotherapist Brooke Hanlon, a police officer quickly concluded that her death had “suspicious” elements. This detail emerges from recent dispatch audio unveiled during the investigation.

The audio, which People has secured, sheds light on law enforcement’s initial response on the evening of June 6. This was the night Brooke’s husband, James “Conor” Hanlon, dialed 911 after finding her unresponsive in their Chester residence.

In the span of just thirteen minutes post-911 call, and merely two minutes into the dispatch recording shared by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the initial responding officer identified it as a “suspicious death,” according to People’s report.

Shortly thereafter, the investigation was escalated to the major crimes unit, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

Brooke was tragically found in the master bedroom, alarmingly injured from several stab wounds, and enveloped in blood, painting a chilling picture of the scene.

The dispatch audio began with a dispatcher telling deputies, “There’s a guy screaming and says he needs everyone’s help.”

What Did Conor Hanlon Tell 911 Dispatchers About His Wife Brooke Hanlon’s Death?

A visibly upset Conor first called 911 around 4:30 p.m.

“I just found my wife,” he said, according to audio of the call obtained by Mendham-Chester, NJ Patch. “I don’t know what’s going on. CPR, I need CPR instruction.”

When the dispatcher asked whether 35-year-old Brooke was still conscious, he replied, “Oh my God, there’s a laceration in her chest!”

The dispatcher took one more attempt to probe Conor for information before a distraught Conor replied, “Please, I don’t know…There’s blood. I need you here, I need you here immediately.”

The Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined that Brooke died of multiple sharp force injuries, listing her manner of death as homicide, according to a statement from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

No arrests have been made in connection to the case.

Conor has reportedly retained an attorney and has been communicating with authorities, according to Fox News.

Morris County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Mark Chiarolanza told Oxygen July 23 that there had been no new updates to the case.

A spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office also confirmed there were no updates.

Brooke Hanlon’s Sister Calls Murder “A Complete Nightmare”

Brooke’s sister Paige Haggerty told Fox News Digital the couple’s one year old child is being cared for by family members, describing the baby as “the only saving grace” in the tragedy.

As she explained, “We still have a piece of Brooke with us.”

She added that Brooke’s death has left her family devastated.

“It’s unimaginable. It’s a complete nightmare,” she said. “To lose a sibling is the last thing you would expect.”

Authorities are asking that anyone with information about the case call the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 973-285-2900, the Chester Police at 908-879-5100, or Crimestoppers at 973-267-2255.

Shocking Footage Captures NYPD Takedown of ‘Anti-American’ Suspect in Federal Building Firebombing

0

NEW YORK — The release of surveillance footage by federal prosecutors has brought to light an alleged arson attempt on a major government complex in New York City, which hosts various federal agencies, including the FBI and ICE.

The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Andrew Arrabaca from Poughkeepsie, is accused of orchestrating an attack at 26 Federal Plaza in Manhattan. Authorities claim he launched fireworks towards the building, then proceeded to pour gasoline on the steps, setting them ablaze.

Footage depicts a man, alleged to be Arrabaca, clad in camouflage and a helmet, maneuvering a cart adorned with an anti-ICE banner.

The suspect can be seen placing fireworks on the ground before firing them toward pedestrians outside. He reenters the frame with a BB or pellet gun and begins shooting before dumping a can of gasoline on the steps and lighting them on fire.

Before the video ends, the figure can be seen throwing a box into the flames, which investigators later said contained more fireworks.

Federal officers arrived and arrested him at the scene.

At least one person was injured by explosive debris, suffering from a gash in the back of their head, according to court filings. Two other people suffered minor injuries.

Arrabaca is accused of carrying a slew of additional weapons and incendiary devices. He was initially accused of firing an Airsoft rifle, but prosecutors later said it was a BB or pellet gun, and photos show at least two on the ground after his arrest.

“He is an anti-American, anti-government extremist,” James Barnacle, the assistant director in charge of the FBI New York Field Office, told reporters at a news briefing Monday. “We know that from what he said.” He added that Arrabaca allegedly “came armed, with bad intentions.”

According to the criminal complaint, Arrabaca allegedly told investigators he had been “motivated to act by anti-government beliefs, including a belief that government authorities were unlawfully harming people” and that he targeted the staircase because he knew it led to a busy entrance.

Barnacle said Arrabaca is a former U.S. Army soldier who served from 2001 to 2005 as a missile system mechanic. Voter records show he has registered as a Democrat and a member of the left-wing Working Families party.

Three people suffered minor injuries in the attack.”Mr. Arrabaca was looking to injure people and harm people,” Barnacle said. “He had two axes, a hammer, a machete and three knives.”

He added that police also recovered six more fireworks, “some other destructive items” as well as anti-ICE literature. Authorities seized Arrabaca’s vehicle and were working to obtain a search warrant as Barnacle delivered his update Monday.

Arrabaca does not appear to have a criminal record prior to his arrest outside the building.

The Federal Building has long been a target for extremists, Barnacle said. It’s also one of the most secure locations in Manhattan, surrounded by barricades and road closures.

Secret Service Agent Suspended Over Alleged Leak of JD Vance’s Travel Itinerary

0

WASHINGTON — In a significant development, a Secret Service agent suspected of leaking sensitive details regarding Vice President JD Vance’s travel plans has been placed on administrative leave. This action is part of an ongoing internal investigation aimed at uncovering the breach.

The agent, whose identity remains undisclosed, is believed to have served as a source for a recent MS Now article. The report suggested mounting frustration among Vance’s Secret Service detail due to the second family’s tendency to make eleventh-hour travel arrangements and demanding special accommodations.

“A member of the Vice Presidential Protective Division is currently under administrative investigation, with a potential criminal probe into allegations that operational and information security may have been compromised,” a Secret Service spokesperson told The Post on Thursday.

The spokesperson further clarified, “While we cannot divulge specific details of this situation, one principle holds firm: any actions that could endanger the safety of those we protect are absolutely unacceptable.”

CNN initially broke the news that the agent has been placed on leave, bringing this sensitive issue to the public’s attention.

The MS Now piece reported that Vance’s detail had recently been asked to travel with the VP and his son aboard Marine Two, the vice presidential helicopter, so that the boy could make his golf lesson at Joint Base Andrews.

The planned chopper trip was scrapped due to bad weather, but the outlet reported that some agents considered the request inappropriate.

The outlet also reported that Vance and his wife Usha had taken “several” last-minute chopper trips while house-hunting in northern Virginia. The Post reported this week that the couple are renting two of the four homes that comprise Wolver Hill Farm, a 500-acre estate in Middleburg, Va., owned by federal contractor and data center developer Charles “Chuck” Kuhn.

Vance’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The agent’s suspension emerged as the Trump administration mounts a crackdown on leaks.

Earlier this month, four New York Times reporters were subpoenaed to testify about a story they reported on possible security flaws in Trump’s new Air Force One, a gift from the Gulf state of Qatar.

On Wednesday, Secret Service Director Sean Curran warned that the protective agency is facing one of the most difficult threat environments in its history, having opened probes of 10,000 threats so far this year.

“I think the environment has become very volatile and that’s just across the board, not just to our protectees but local officials. The threat picture and environment is as large as I’ve ever seen it,” Curran said.

The Vances have four young children and welcomed son Alec Neel to their family last week. They are the first vice presidential couple to have a new baby in more than 150 years.

Vance has kept busy with various assignments, including peace negotiations with Iran, which broke down earlier this month after Tehran attacked several vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

Additionally, the vice president has done a media tour to promote his new book, “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith,” which hit bookshelves last month.

Airport Enhances Security with Private Staff Amid TSA Issues

0

Tampa International Airport (TPA) in Florida is set to shift towards privatizing its security operations, aiming to streamline services and curtail delays, a move that has sparked discontent among federal workers and their union representatives.

The decision, made public earlier this week, aligns with a larger initiative by the Trump administration to implement privatization strategies across the nation’s airports.

Back in May, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) unveiled TSA Gold+, a public-private partnership plan. This program permits private entities to manage airport security, including the recruitment of staff and maintenance of security equipment, and it is the model TPA has chosen to follow.

The unprecedented 43-day government shutdown last year, coupled with earlier prolonged partial shutdowns, led to significant disruptions with TSA staff handling long hours and receiving no pay, causing extensive wait times for travelers.

The Trump administration has argued that privatizing these services would prevent such issues, ensuring that contractual workers receive payment regardless of any congressional funding impasse.

Des Moines International Airport in Iowa is also ‘exploring’ the TSA Gold+ program, and Charleston International Airport in South Carolina is ‘formally pursuing a transition,’ both airports said in public statements.

But privatization is facing pushback from the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), a union that represents the 47,000 Transportation Security Officers at 400 airports across the US.

In a news release published on Tuesday, the union claimed that privatization will reduce safety at airports and is more about profit than increasing efficiency.

‘Make no mistake – this is a major departure and step backwards from the aviation screening security system that Congress created in the wake of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks in 2001,’ AFGE National President Everett Kelley said.

‘Changes of this magnitude should not be made behind closed doors without the input of Congress, the flying public, the local airport authorities, and TSA employees themselves,’ Kelley added.

The AFGE news release also highlighted the Trump administration’s proposed 2027 federal budget, which aims to eliminate 8,400 federal airport security officer positions, or about 14 percent of TSA’s screening workforce.

The proposal signifies that the administration’s ‘clear objective is to ultimately privatize all aviation security screening functions,’ according to the AFGE president.

In an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, Chris Finlay, the AFGE North and Central Florida chapter president, called TPA’s move towards privatization a ‘slap in the face’ for employees who continued working without pay during government shutdowns.

But the airport’s officials maintained that the decision was made in the best interests of protecting operations and reducing the risk of chaos and disruptions.

‘The change to privatization not only reduces disruption risks caused by lapses in federal appropriations or government shutdowns,’ a statement to the Tampa Bay Times from TPA Communications Manager Beau Zimmer began.

‘But [it] also allows greater flexibility in exploring new screening checkpoint infrastructure and technology to enhance the customer experience.’

Although the TSA Gold+ program will give private contractors near-total oversight of security operations, companies will still be mandated to follow established federal standards, Zimmer said.

TPA is expected to complete its transition into privatization as soon as May 2027, although the airport has not yet selected a private contractor.

The TSA released a revised request for proposals last week to select companies for its Gold+ program, planning to hand out a 10-year multiple-award contract.

Advocates Criticize Hanson’s Views on Domestic Violence Dynamics

0

Please be advised this article discusses topics related to domestic and family violence.

Voices of concern are rising, as Brittany Higgins and anti-violence advocate Tarang Chawla challenge the controversial remarks made by Pauline Hanson. Hanson described domestic violence as a “two-way street” and suggested that women should not tolerate it.

During a conversation on Brisbane’s 4BC radio this Wednesday, the One Nation leader acknowledged that domestic violence is “wrong” but suggested it stems from current “living pressures.”

“I’m not claiming it’s solely men; women can also lose their temper. Our society faces more pressure than before,” Hanson commented.

Drawing on personal experience, she expressed, “Having been through it myself, I believe if you don’t feel safe in your home… women facing abuse should not accept it.”

Chawla, a writer, lawyer and advocate, said Hanson’s suggestion was “terrible advice”.

Chawla’s sister, Nikita Chawla, was stabbed to death by her husband, Parminder Singh, in 2015. Singh was sentenced to 22 years in prison for her murder.

Responding to a social media post by Women’s Agenda, Chawla wrote: “My sister Niki tried to do what Ms Hanson suggests. Terrible advice. He murdered her. It is not as simple as ‘don’t put up with it’.

The responsibility isn’t on the victim. It’s on the person who is abusive or violent. Overwhelmingly, that person is a man.”

‘Victim blaming’

Higgins also took to social media to respond to the comments, calling Hanson’s remarks “atrocious”.

She accused Hanson of normalising “victim blaming rhetoric in relation to domestic violence when 38 Australian women have already been lost to femicide” this year. That figure is according to advocate Sherele Moody’s Australian Femicide Watch project.

In the space of one week in July, two women and two girls were allegedly murdered in Australia in separate incidents.

Then, on Wednesday morning, a 16-year-old boy was charged with murdering his mother, and attempting to kill his 12-year-old sister in a home in Perth’s south-east.

Nicole Yade, CEO of frontline service Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre, also expressed concern the comments ignored the realities for many victims of domestic and family violence.

“Saying ‘just leave’ ignores proven patterns of behaviour that keep many victim-survivors trapped in abusive relationships,” Yade said in a statement.

“Following an abusive incident, displays of remorse, love bombing, gifts and promises to change often manipulate victims into believing the violence will never happen again. Too often, the cycle then repeats.”

“It also ignores a simple reality: you cannot leave if there is nowhere safe to go.”

One Nation’s position on domestic violence

Hanson’s comments were prompted by fellow One Nation politician Barnaby Joyce’s remarks on the same station earlier that day.

Joyce said, “before you lose your top, walk out of the house, just walk down the street”.

Joyce then invoked the character of James Bond, despite several Bond films depicting the titular hero using physical force against women.

“James Bond is loved in the cinema because he keeps it all together, for blokes who lose their bottle have no style.”

In 2019, Hanson was chosen by then-prime minister Scott Morrison to lead a parliamentary inquiry into family law after the senator attacked women she claimed were lying to abuse the courts.

“There are people out there who are nothing but liars and who will use that in the court system,” Hanson told ABC radio at the time.

In 2020, Hanson refused to support a Senate motion calling for greater funding of frontline family and domestic violence services “until this chamber acknowledges the hurt of domestic violence experienced by both sexes”.

In NSW alone, the Domestic Violence Death Review Team found that over the past 26 years, 300 women have been killed by their current or former intimate partner.

In the same period, 75 men were killed by an intimate partner. In nearly three-quarters of deaths, the murder victim was the abuser.

Melissa Gilbert Reveals Her Silence Over New ‘Little House

Melissa Gilbert has opened up about her decision to stay mum regarding Netflix’s fresh take on Little House on the Prairie.

In a heartfelt post on Substack, Gilbert, now 62, shared her thoughts, writing, “Here I am, nestled on a farm in Pennsylvania, trying to savor my morning ritual. Yet, today, something is persistently nagging at me,” she confessed. “I’ve chosen to stay silent since the release of the new Little House on the Prairie version.”

Gilbert revealed that her reluctance stemmed from “two reasons” she felt were compelling enough to keep her opinions private.

“Truthfully, I’m concerned about my ability to remain objective due to my deep emotional connection to the original series,” she explained. “Additionally, I believe it’s not my place to share my views. The audience’s reactions are what truly matter. Critics and commentators, on the other hand, are irrelevant.”

Inside Melissa Gilbert's Life Now

Nearly four decades ago, Melissa Gilbert captivated audiences as Laura Ingalls Wilder, a young girl growing up on the American frontier in the late 1800s. Her portrayal on Little House on the Prairie catapulted her to fame and she has been a public figure ever since. The beloved series, which chronicled a family’s struggles and triumphs in the Midwest, concluded its remarkable run years ago but remains fondly remembered today.

Based on the beloved book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House on the Prairie follows the Ingalls family, who live on a farm on Plum Creek near Walnut Grove, Minnesota, in the late 1800s.

Gilbert starred as Laura on the original series alongside Michael Landon, Karen Grassle and Melissa Sue Anderson, decades before the Netflix version introduced Alice Halsey, Luke Bracey, Crosby Fitzgerald and Skywalker Hughes.

Though she initially kept quiet, Gilbert wanted to join in on the conversation about the latest take on the childhood classic.

“If you are like me and still crave the actual, real, one hundred percent truth, then I suggest you watch, what I consider to be the definitive documentary on the subject of Laura Ingalls Wilder,” she continued. “That documentary is PBS Laura Ingalls Wilder; From the Prairie to the Page.”

Little House on the Prairie Cast Where Are They Now 331

Little House on the Prairie debuted on NBC just over 40 years ago in September 1974 — and the beloved series often feels as relevant as ever today. The show is based on the series of books of the same name penned by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Following the adventures of the Ingalls family in Walnut […]

Gilbert urged fans of the series to form their own opinions on new versions of the story.

“I hope this helps to clarify things a bit. I truly believe there is lots and lots of room for many stories to come out of the Little House universe for decades to come,” she wrote. “Maybe some day, someone will do a version that is word for word and scene for scene the books Laura wrote. Maybe someone will take the whole thing in a different direction and in a different timeline. Who knows.”

She continued: “The important thing is that the core tenets of Laura’s stories continue to resonate today. Those are, to be kind, to be charitable, patient, tolerant, open, curious, loving. To support those in need. To care for, nurture and love one’s family. To respect nature. and be grateful for her bountiful gifts. To love God and each other.”

Little House on the Prairie is streaming now.

Harry, a long-time supporter of the charity, took part in activities including goat yoga, games and a question-and-answer session with youngsters.

The appearance came shortly after he met his father, marking the pair’s first widely reported face-to-face meeting for some time following years of public tensions within the Royal family.

Machine Gun Kelly Joins Cleveland Cavaliers Game Festivities Amidst Excitement for Upcoming Baby with Ex Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly showed his support for the Cleveland Cavaliers during their matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday evening at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

The 34-year-old artist sported a vibrant red Cavaliers baseball cap, complemented by sleek dark sunglasses.

Colson Baker, famously known as MGK, exuded style in an oversized leather bomber jacket layered over a crisp white shirt.

Enjoying the game from his courtside seat, MGK appeared in high spirits as he leisurely drank and conversed with friends.

Despite his enthusiastic presence, MGK’s favored Cavaliers fell to the Clippers with a final score of 132-119.

It comes weeks after MGK said the imminent birth of his second child will be ‘bittersweet’ following the recent death of one of his best friends.

While mourning the loss of his longtime pal, Australian snowboarder Luke ‘The Dingo’ Trembath, 38, the rapper expressed his profound sadness that his ‘brother’ won’t be around to meet his and former fiancée Megan Fox’s baby, who is due any day.

‘Crazy… I didn’t even cry this hard when my dad died. I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother,’ he wrote in an emotional Instagram tribute on Friday.

He continued: ‘We’ll never get another Dingo on this planet. A true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honor of knowing.’

‘I’ll miss your epic toasts, I’ll miss dapping you up and my hand hurting everytime because you had some odd amount of Australian strength goin on, I’ll miss your bellyflops, I’ll miss watching you walk through the door and lifting the energy of every pivotal event in my adult life, I’ll miss you pissing me off, but most of all I’ll miss your laugh. you were the glue between all of us.

Kelly went on to reflect on how telling his daughter, Casie, 15, the news was one of the ‘hardest phone calls’ he ever had to make because she loved him ‘so much.’

‘I’ll never forget when she was too young to understand your name was Dingo so she called you Ping Pong,’ he mused.

‘I feel like your up there with my new child, dressed up in a hilarious costume making them laugh, getting ready to send them down. I couldn’t ask for a more bittersweet birth blessing,’ he added.

Kelly concluded his caption by writing: ‘Life will always be less without you, but legends never die. we’ll all miss you brother.’

Last month, a source told Page Six that Fox has been leaning on her older sister, Kristi Fox, as she prepares to give birth to her fourth child.

Despite the breakup, the insider insisted that MGK has ‘every intention’ of being an active part of his child’s life.

‘He and Megan have still been in communication,’ the source added. ‘He loves Megan and wants nothing more than to be a family unit.’

Fox’s sister Kristi, 50, lives her life out of the spotlight as a guidance counselor.

The Transformers star, 38, and MGK broke up in November 2024 after dating for four and a half years.

They split two weeks after they revealed they were expecting their first child together.

While the two have been texting from time to time as they await the birth of their baby, the Jennifer’s Body star has made it clear that she will never get back together with him.

‘Megan is moving forward independently and is not interested in revisiting the past,’ a source told Us Weekly last month.

‘Megan is focused on her pregnancy and not looking back. She is deeply hurt by how things ended but is focusing on healing.’

And while the actress is setting her sights on the future and moving on, MGK is on the other side of the spectrum.

The rapper is reportedly ‘struggling’ to accept his new reality and is attempting to repurpose ‘his energy into self-improvement.

‘He has been focusing on mental health and getting back in shape,’ the source insisted. ‘He’s heartbroken but trying to move forward.’

With her baby on the way, the Subservience star is ‘taking extra care of herself and focusing on a healthy pregnancy.’

And insiders suggest she’s prioritizing a calm and healthy environment until further notice.

The couple have been on-off over the years but sources say Fox is not interested in another reconciliation.

‘MGK would like to reconcile, but Fox is firm in her decision to move on,’ the source said. ‘She does not see a future with him anymore. She doesn’t want to put herself in the same position again with him anymore. She wants to break the cycle.’

Fox was formerly married to Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green, 51.

They share kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight, and were famously on and off, breaking up once during their engagement and once during their marriage and reconciling both times.

Fox and MGK first connected in 2020 after working on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass together.
