GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Quardarell Henry Robinson, 38, has pleaded guilty to federal charges involving possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana, as well as possessing a firearm in connection with a drug-trafficking offense. John P. Heekin, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the plea.
“Through the outstanding investigative efforts of our federal law enforcement partners and the successful prosecution by my office, this armed drug trafficker has been removed from our streets,” U.S. Attorney Heekin said. “Those who bring drugs and violence into my district will face the full force of the Department of Justice.”
Details of the arrest
According to court records, DEA agents were monitoring Robinson’s apartment at The Reserve at Kanapaha, located at 4440 SW Archer Road, around noon on February 23. Investigators saw Robinson leave the property and get into a pickup truck while carrying a small black handbag.
DEA agents followed the pickup onto SW 41st Boulevard, also known as Fred Bear Drive, before it entered Fred Bear Archery at 4600 SW 41st Blvd. At approximately 1:02 p.m., a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped the vehicle in a felony traffic stop and took Robinson into custody.
Investigators searching a wooded area behind the Bear Archery parking lot reportedly found a black Glock 22 loaded with 10 rounds.
A witness parked along the west shoulder of Fred Bear Road, north of Bear Archery, told a DEA agent that a black object had been thrown from the truck’s passenger side shortly before the vehicle turned. The agent later located a small black handbag in a roadside ditch. Authorities said its size appeared consistent with the bag Robinson had been carrying when he entered the truck.
The handbag reportedly contained approximately 44.9 grams of crack cocaine, 1.5 grams of cocaine and 21 individual bags holding a combined 70 grams of marijuana. Investigators also found two larger bags containing about 17.2 grams of suspected marijuana, four additional industrial bags with approximately 20.2 grams of suspected marijuana, two gabapentin capsules, numerous empty baggies and a digital scale.

Law enforcement later served a search warrant at Robinson’s residence. The search reportedly uncovered another loaded handgun and cookware containing cocaine base.
Robinson faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in federal prison and could receive up to life imprisonment.
Chief U.S. District Judge Allen C. Winsor is scheduled to sentence Robinson in Gainesville on November 23, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
The investigation was conducted jointly by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Adam Hapner and James McCain are handling the prosecution.
The case falls under Project Safe Neighborhoods, the Justice Department’s nationwide strategy for bringing together federal, state, local and tribal authorities, prosecutors and community safety partners to reduce violent crime. Each of the nation’s 94 federal districts develops PSN efforts around its own public safety concerns. As part of Operation Take Back America, the initiative focuses on swift federal action against violent offenders, strong cooperation among law enforcement agencies and accountability through prosecution of serious, provable crimes. The department said these efforts also support and reinforce President Trump’s Homeland Security Task Forces in addressing major public safety threats.
NYC Mayor Mamdani Bars NYPD From Responding to 311 Homeless Camp Calls
City Hall is sidelining the NYPD in responding to New York City’s homeless encampment complaints.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani has directed the NYPD not to answer 311 reports involving homeless encampments, leaving the responsibility with the already strained Department of Social Services, according to sources familiar with the policy who spoke with The Post.
Under the new system, police officers must wait for authorization before taking action — and it remains unclear when that approval might come.
“This is just crazy,” one source said. “The cops can’t assist. They have to wait for DSS, and DSS doesn’t have enough personnel to investigate these reports.”
The directive expands Mamdani’s already controversial strategy for dealing with the makeshift encampments that have appeared across New York in recent years. That policy barred the NYPD from removing camps for at least seven days while outreach workers attempted to persuade residents to accept services.
Police had continued answering 311 calls involving encampments, even though officers were generally prevented from clearing the sites during that waiting period. That changed Tuesday, when an email sent to NYPD operations personnel informed them that officers would no longer respond to those complaints, sources said.
The email instructed officers who come across an encampment to report it through 311. From there, staff from DSS and the city Department of Homeless Services would assume responsibility, according to the sources.
“It’s a gray area,” one source said.
Officials with the Mamdani administration confirmed that the process had changed.
“DHS outreach teams, not NYPD officers, will assess the reported location of the encampment and offer shelter and support to any individuals encountered in the area,” a DSS spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that the city is updating DHS tracking systems, improving location mapping and refining its monitoring process so officials can respond more efficiently to encampment conditions throughout New York.

City officials said the NYPD will continue to participate when formal encampment sweeps are conducted.
Mamdani outlined his more restrained approach to homelessness in late 2024, shortly before taking office, signaling a sharp departure from the policies of his predecessor.
Former Mayor Eric Adams made the removal of tent encampments a central priority after assuming office in 2022.
“We cannot tolerate these makeshift, unsafe houses on the side of highways, in trees, in front of schools or in parks,” Adams said in March 2022 as he launched a more aggressive effort to address homelessness. “This is just not acceptable, and it’s something I’m just not going to allow to happen.”
By contrast, Mamdani adopted a less interventionist posture toward shelters and encampments, even as the number of people experiencing homelessness who died during severe winter weather continued to rise.
Encampments have remained visible across New York over the past year. One sprawling site near the Intrepid Museum on Manhattan’s West Side remained in place until The Post reported on it, prompting the city to move in and begin clearing the area.
Another camp transformed a section beneath the FDR Drive on the East Side into a heavily littered area, while a makeshift outdoor shelter took over part of a sidewalk in Greenwich Village.
This week, a 30-foot-long shelter was discovered across the street from an NYU dormitory.
In several cases, city workers cleared encampments only for the residents to relocate to different sites.
However, the policy prohibited police from removing the shelters for at least seven days.
NYPD also confirmed the policy change.
“Any crime, traffic condition, or public safety issue will continue to be directed to the NYPD via 911,” a spokesperson said.

Harper works for sports editor and journalist Kirsten Stevens (Lucy Liu), while Charlie assists venture capitalist Rick Otis (Taye Diggs). After clashing over a takeout order in the building where both offices are located, the pair comes up with a plan: they will set up their demanding bosses, encourage them to date and hopefully give themselves enough breathing room to enjoy a life outside work.
The scheme succeeds, with Kirsten and Rick finding an unexpected connection. At the same time, Harper and Charlie spend more time together and begin to realize that their own relationship may be becoming something more. Deutch and Powell, who previously appeared together in Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some!!!, are terrific as the leads. Powell, in particular, makes a strong case for appearing in far more romantic comedies—and he turns up in another movie on this list. Set It Up also gives both characters believable ambitions and emotional depth, including Harper’s dream of becoming a sports writer. Add scene-stealing performances from Pete Davidson, Meredith Hagner and Tituss Burgess, and the result is another funny, sweet and highly rewatchable rom-com from Scanlon.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Directed by Susan Johnson, written by Sofia Alvarez and adapted from Jenny Han’s novel, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before follows the unexpectedly complicated romantic life of high school student Lara Jean Song-Covey (Lana Condor). Lara Jean processes her feelings by writing private love letters to her crushes, including Josh (Israel Broussard), who happens to be her older sister Margo’s (Janel Parrish) ex-boyfriend. Everything changes when Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty (Anna Cathcart), discovers the letters and sends them without warning. The situation becomes even more shocking when Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo, in his breakout role) confronts Lara Jean at school after receiving his letter. Her response is roughly what anyone might expect in such a moment: she faints.
Josh receives a letter too, creating a potential crisis for Lara Jean’s relationship with her sister. That is where Peter’s proposal comes in: he and Lara Jean should pretend to date. Peter hopes the arrangement will make his ex-girlfriend Gen (Emilija Baranac), who was once Lara Jean’s best friend, jealous. As expected, the fake couple gradually develops real feelings. The film depends heavily on the chemistry between its leads, and Condor and Centineo deliver, creating a pairing that is both magnetic and endearing. Even viewers long past their teenage years may feel swept back into first love as Lara Jean and Peter’s arrangement becomes genuine. The story also continues in two sequels, making To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before the first film in a complete trilogy.

The early 2000s produced some of the most memorable mainstream romantic comedies, and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days remains one of the era’s defining entries. Directed by Donald Petrie and written by Kristen Buckley, Brian Regan and Burr Steers, the film is loosely based on a picture book by Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long. It introduces Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson), a writer for a women’s magazine who longs to move beyond dating advice and fashion stories, and Benjamin Barry (Matthew McConaughey), an advertising executive determined to land a major account with diamond company DeLauer, which appears to be modeled on De Beers.
Their unusual fake relationship begins with two competing challenges. Andie’s editor, Lana (Bebe Neuwirth), dares her to make a man break up with her within 10 days by embracing every stereotype associated with being a “difficult woman.” At the same time, Benjamin accepts a bet from his rivals, the Judys (Shalom Harlow and Michael Michele), that he can make any woman fall in love with him in the same amount of time. The Judys know about Andie’s assignment, so they point Benjamin directly toward her.
The premise of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is completely outrageous, but that absurdity is central to its appeal. Hudson and McConaughey make the increasingly chaotic situation work, balancing the broad comedy with genuine warmth. And after watching the movie, you may never hear “You’re So Vain” quite the same way again.
10 Things I Hate About You

Written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, who also wrote Legally Blonde, and directed by Gil Junger, the film follows Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles), whose sharp personality keeps nearly everyone at a distance. Her younger sister Bianca (Larisa Oleynik), meanwhile, wants to start dating. Their father, Walter (Larry Miller), responds with one firm rule: Bianca cannot date until Kat does.
Eager to take Bianca out, popular student Joey Donner (Andrew Keegan) pays Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), a mysterious and striking new student from Australia, to pursue Kat. While that arrangement unfolds, Bianca begins falling for Cameron James (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a sweet and somewhat awkward French tutor. Packed with sharp dialogue, memorable performances and an all-time comic turn from Allison Janney as a guidance counselor with a surprisingly outrageous private life, 10 Things I Hate About You builds toward a romance between Kat and Patrick that feels earned. In the 2023 box-office hit Anyone But You, however, he works with more familiar romantic-comedy territory. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, the film follows Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell), who spend a night together before a misunderstanding causes Ben to speak badly about Bea to his roommate Pete (rapper GaTa). After Bea leaves embarrassed, the pair are brought back into each other’s orbit when Bea’s sister Halle (Hadley Robinson) becomes engaged to Ben’s sister Claudia (Alexandra Shipp). When the couple plans a destination wedding in Sydney, Australia, Bea and Ben are cast as maid of honor and best man, leaving them stuck together—and repeatedly thrown into intimate situations.
The fake-dating plot begins when everyone at the wedding starts trying to reunite Bea and Ben. To outmaneuver the matchmaking efforts, they decide to pretend they are already a couple. Anyone But You includes a few bizarre side stories, including one involving a family dog named Klonopin, but it delivers the romantic-comedy beats viewers are likely seeking after The Love Hypothesis. Sweeney and Powell also make a convincing pair, turning an antagonistic relationship into a romance that gradually feels sincere.

RHONY Star Jessel Taank Says She Doesn’t Regret Kicking Out Erin Lichy
Jessel Taank is returning for another season of The Real Housewives of New York City. As the first Indian Housewife in the franchise, Taank felt that continuing after the break between Seasons 15 and 16 was especially meaningful. “Being able to share my culture and my life felt incredibly exciting,” she said. Taank is also balancing marriage to rising food creator Pavit Randhawa, parenting twin sons Kai and Rio, filming, friendships, and passion projects such as Ooshk, a platform celebrating Indian and Middle Eastern fashion.
The Season 16 premiere opened with Sai De Silva taking responsibility for her past criticism of Taank and her marriage. Although the reconciliation may have appeared sudden, Taank explained that the two women had been repairing their friendship long before the cameras captured their conversation. “We’ve been building trust over the course of the past couple of years,” Taank said. “She didn’t have to take accountability for the past, but she did. That meant a lot to me.”
Taank and De Silva may now be in a strong place, but her relationship with Erin Lichy remains more complicated. Taank visited the Decider studio to discuss the latest season, her regret over pressing Carole Radziwill about her late friend Carolyn Bessette, and the shifting dynamics among the RHONY cast.
DECIDER: What made you decide to stay with RHONY after the reboot’s first season came to an end?
JESSEL TAANK: The reboot appealed to me because New York is constantly evolving. It moves at such a fast pace, and the city brings together people from so many different backgrounds, so refreshing the series felt natural. I also wanted to be part of the show because it gave me the opportunity to become the first Indian cast member in the entire Real Housewives franchise. That was an enormous honor. Indians are often very private, so sharing my culture and personal life with viewers felt like a special opportunity.
I loved seeing you and Sai reconcile in the Season 16 premiere. What was it like hearing her acknowledge her past behavior?
Sai explained that she recognized similarities between how she acted before and what was unfolding in her own life. I don’t believe she ever meant to create a misleading impression of her life back then. But now she’s being open and truthful about the experience, and I genuinely respect her for that.
I was often confused by the way she criticized you and your marriage, but her explanation put it into perspective. Did rebuilding trust with Sai take time?
It has been four years since we began this journey with Season 14, and Sai and I have put real effort into our friendship. To viewers, our renewed closeness may seem to have happened overnight, but we’ve been working on trust for years. Sai was not obligated to revisit the past or accept responsibility, so the fact that she chose to do so meant a great deal to me.
Pavit has become one of my favorite House Husbands, and it’s been fascinating to watch him navigate this new stage of his career. How do you feel about his work as an emerging food influencer?
I’ve always encouraged him to pursue his goals. Everyone deserves the chance to find professional fulfillment and chase the work they’re passionate about, and this is what Pavit wants to do. He’s still developing his strategy and figuring out the right plan, so I’m constantly reminding him to stay consistent and focused. He’s incredibly smart and genuinely passionate about creating food content.
The Real Housewives of Dubai may be on pause, but Chanel Ayan is still involved in Housewives drama. Were you pleased that she told you what Erin had said, or would you have preferred not to know?
I’m definitely glad Chanel told me. I left that event completely unaware of what had been going on. When someone treats me warmly in person, I usually take that at face value, so I thought, “Everything is fine.” Clearly, it wasn’t. I appreciated Chanel stepping in to warn me, because it completely shifted the way I viewed Erin and the state of our relationship.
Your Chinese New Year celebration became tense after your memorable speech. Did Erin’s decision to confront you at your own party catch you off guard?

Not really. We barely interacted that evening. I wasn’t trying to single her out, but the moment developed naturally. I had intended to address her past behavior eventually, although I probably wouldn’t have chosen that particular night. It wasn’t necessarily the ideal setting, but I’m ultimately glad we had the conversation. It became heated, but I needed the opportunity to say how I felt.
Do you regret asking her to leave?
Absolutely not. I hosted the party to celebrate change and welcome the new year with positive energy, and Erin’s presence brought the opposite of what I wanted for the event. I don’t regret removing her, although I don’t think I would handle things that way again. It simply isn’t who I am.
Carole Radziwill is returning to RHONY in Season 16. Were you familiar with her, and what did you think when you learned she was coming back?
I say this often, but Carole is probably the most grounded and logical of all the former RHONY women. She’s also the one I run into most frequently around New York City. Carole is a true social butterfly, and you see her at all kinds of events, from fashion gatherings to everything else. She fits naturally with the cast, and she’s genuinely cool. I had a wonderful time getting to know her.
I didn’t realize you were so curious about the late Carolyn Bessette after watching Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette. Do you wish you had held back on some of your questions about her to Carole?
I wish I had known how Carole was feeling about Love Story in general. I didn’t realize that the show had hit such a nerve for her. Obviously, we learn as the season goes along that it really had been a very hard time for her. I do regret prodding her, but there wasn’t any malicious intent; it was just curiosity.
I think most viewers knew you didn’t mean any harm.
If I had known what she was feeling about Carolyn and the show, I would never have even broached the subject.
One thing I love about you is that you are always busy! You’re working on a new luxury e-commerce retail platform specializing in Indian & Middle Eastern fashion. What can you tell us about Ooshk?
We launched it about a year ago, but we’re going through some iterations and some changes. I’m actually relaunching it with the CFDA [Council of Fashion Designers of America], which is really great. Ooshk is about introducing globally renowned designers who are not as well-known in the U.S. I’m tapping into a lot of emerging talent and creatives who are more under the radar here. I’m putting my PR hat on and giving them the exposure and attention that they deserve. It’s a fun project and one I’m really excited about.
We’re just at the beginning of RHONY Season 16! What can you tease about what’s to come?
I have heard from production that Episode 1 was the softest episode. So, if your interest is peaked by Episode 1, I encourage you to keep watching because it only gets better.
