Tybee Island Police Probe Unpermitted Event Sparks Gunfire Incident

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — The Tybee Island Police Department (TIPD) is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place during an unauthorized, spontaneous gathering on Saturday evening.

TIPD reported that around 6:30 p.m., a large crowd had assembled near the pier and pavilion. Officers present heard multiple gunshots, which caused the attendees to flee the scene.

In response, off-duty TIPD officers quickly arrived to provide support. They were soon joined by officers from the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD), Chatham County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), and Georgia State Patrol (GSP).

“Once the event was dispersed, our officers began coordinating the investigation and ensuring public safety,” stated a press release from TIPD. “As of now, no suspects have been identified, and there have been no reports of injuries.”

The investigation is ongoing, and residents may notice a heightened police presence in the area. TIPD is urging anyone with information to reach out to them.

Artemis II Crew Faces Technical Hiccup with Onboard Toilet En Route to the Moon

0
Now more than halfway to the moon, the Artemis II astronauts prepared for their historic lunar fly-around to push deeper into space than even the Apollo astronauts.

Unfortunately, the crew is facing a recurring issue with their spacecraft’s toilet, which has gone on the fritz once more.

The three Americans and one Canadian are set to reach their destination on Monday, photographing the mysterious lunar far side as they zoom around.

This mission marks the first time a team is heading to the moon in over 53 years, picking up the torch from NASA’s storied Apollo program.

Pilot Victor Glover shared a vivid update from space, noting, “The Earth is quite small, and the moon is definitely getting bigger.”

Due to the ongoing issues with the Orion capsule’s bathroom, Mission Control has instructed the astronauts to rely on additional backup urine collection bags until repairs can be made.

The problem, dubbed the “lunar loo” malfunction, has plagued the mission since Wednesday’s launch, causing intermittent issues ever since.

A version of the Artemis II toilet was tested on the International Space Station several years ago.

Engineers suspect ice may be blocking the line that is preventing urine from completely flushing overboard. The toilet is still open for No. 2 business.

Debbie Korth, NASA’s Orion program deputy manager, said the astronauts have also reported a smell coming from the bathroom, which is buried in the floor of the capsule with a door and curtain for privacy.

“Space toilets and bathrooms are something everybody can really understand .. it’s always a challenge,” she said, noting that the space shuttle toilet was also often on the fritz.

John Honeycutt, chair of the mission management team, said it is human nature to be interested in the space commode, and even though it is “in a good state right now,” he’d like it to be working at 100 per cent.

“They’re OK,” he said of the astronauts. “They trained to manage through the situation.”

Artemis II is poised to set a distance record for humans, traveling more than 400,000 kilometers from Earth before hanging a U-turn behind the moon and heading home without stopping or entering lunar orbit.

The record is currently held by Apollo 13.

The Canadian Space Agency celebrated the country’s role in the mission, speaking from Quebec with astronaut Jeremy Hansen as he headed toward his lunar rendezvous. Hansen is the first non-US citizen to fly to the moon.

Suspicions raised after skydiver falls 1200m and survives

“Today he is making history for Canada,” Canadian Space Agency President Lisa Campbell said. “As we watch him taking this bold step into the unknown, let his journey remind us that Canada’s future is written by those who dare to reach for more.”

In the live televised linkup, Hansen said he has already witnessed “extraordinary” views from NASA’s Orion capsule.

Hansen, Glover, Reid Wiseman and Christina Koch are the world’s first lunar astronauts since Apollo 17’s crew of three in 1972. Koch and Glover are the first female and first Black astronauts to the moon, respectively.

Their nearly 10-day mission — ending with a Pacific splashdown on April 10 — is the first step in NASA’s bold plans for a sustainable moon base.

The space agency is aiming for a landing by two astronauts near the lunar south pole in 2028.

MEMORISE: I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. – Psalm 40:9 (KJV)

READ: 2 Kings 7:3-16 (KJV)

3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

10 So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

11 And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.

12 And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.

13 And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

14 They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.

15 And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

16 And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Samuel 14-16

Open Heaven 5 April 2026 MESSAGE

Today’s Bible reading tells us about how four leprous men rescued an entire city from its terrible economic situation. Before then, there had been a severe famine in Samaria for a prolonged time, and things got so bad that mothers began to eat their children (2 Kings 6:26-29). After a while, Elisha, God’s servant, proclaimed God’s word that things would change for good the very next day. Unaware of the prophetic word from the mouth of God’s servant, the four lepers, who lived outside the city gates, decided to take a bold step to go into the enemy’s camp. Their action paid off because God had caused the enemy soldiers to flee from their camp because they heard what sounded like a mighty army marching towards them. When the lepers entered the enemy’s camp, they found out that all the soldiers had fled and had left behind all their food and other supplies. They were amazed, and they ate, drank, gathered silver, gold, and other precious items. However, after a while, they stopped and questioned their selfishness:

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household – 2 Kings 7:9

The lepers knew that it was a day of good tidings, so they refused to keep the good news to themselves. They reported their discovery to the king’s household, and that was how God’s word about a miraculous turnaround in the economic situation of the city came to pass the very next day. If you are a Christian, then you know that today is a day of good tidings. Jesus died and resurrected to bring us into a new day. Jeremiah 31:31 tells us about the days when God will make a new covenant with His people. These are the days of that new covenant; the days of God’s grace and victory over the nature of sin. If you are not sharing this good news and telling others about the wonderful works of God, you are denying them the opportunity of enjoying God’s blessings.

Beloved, God has saved you from satan’s bondage and freed you from his burdens. One way to appreciate Him for this is to become a habitual testifier of His goodness. Don’t keep the good news of Christ’s redemption to yourself.

Happy Easter!

Open Heaven 5 April 2026 HYMN 12 – Onward, Christian Soldiers!

1 Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before!
Christ, the royal Master,
leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, see his banner go!

Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to
war, With the cross of Jesus going on before!

2 At the name of Jesus
Satan’s host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers,
on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver
at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices,
loud your anthems raise!

3 Like a mighty army
moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading
where the saints have trod;
We are not divided; all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

4 Crowns and thrones may perish,
Kingdoms rise and wane;
But the church Jesus
constant will remain:
Gates of hell can never
‘gainst that church prevail
We have Christ’s own promise
and that cannot fail

5 Onward, then, ye people,
join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices,
in the triumph song;
Glory, praise and honour,
unto Christ the King;
This through countless ages,
men and angels sing.

DCLM Daily Manna 5 April 2026 — From Fear To Faith

DCLM Daily Manna 5 April 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Walk Of The Righteous

TOPIC: From Fear To Faith (DCLM Daily Manna 5 April 2026)

KEY VERSE: And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him – Mark 16:5,6

TEXT: Mark 16:1-8 (KJV)

1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

As Vice President, George Bush represented the US at the funeral of former Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Bush was deeply moved by a silent protest carried out by Brezhnev’s widow. She stood motionless by the coffin until seconds before it was closed. Then, just as the soldiers touched the lid, Brezhnev’s wife performed an act of great courage and hope, a gesture that must surely rank as one of the most profound acts of civil disobedience ever committed: She reached down and made the sign of the cross on her husband’s chest. There in the citadel of secular, atheistic power, the wife of the man who had run it all hoped that her husband was wrong. She hoped that there was another life, and that that life was best represented by Jesus who died on the cross, and that the same Jesus might yet have mercy on her husband.”

Our passage narrates the powerful story of the resurrection from the perspective of the women – Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome – who came to anoint Jesus’ body. They were grieving, confused, and unsure of how they would roll the large stone away from the tomb’s entrance. But when they arrived, the stone was already rolled back, God had gone ahead of them. Inside, they found not Jesus’ body, but an angel who declared to them messages of: PEACE (“Be not affrighted”); POWER (“He is risen!”); POTENTIAL (“He is not here!”); PREACHING (“go your way, tell his disciples and Peter”); and PROMISE (“Ye shall see Him”). Jesus’ resurrection is the heart of the Christian faith. It implies that death has been defeated and new life is available to all who believe. On this strength, the angel instructed them to go and tell the disciples which they eventually obeyed and shared the good news.

This passage challenges us to live with faith over fear, to trust that God is already at work ahead of us, and to be willing to share the message of the risen Christ. Like the women at the tomb, we’re also called to respond to the resurrection with both awe and action, and walk in faith even when we don’t understand. what God is doing. He may have removed whatever “stone” we are worried about today.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The tomb is empty. Go and tell the world, Jesus is alive!

Rhapsody Of Realities 5 April 2026: He Is Lord Jesus

Rhapsody Of Realities 5 April 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): He Is Lord Jesus

TOPIC: He Is Lord Jesus (Rhapsody of Realities 5 April 2026)

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last (Revelation 1:17).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

To walk with the Lord Jesus and truly serve Him, you must know who He really is. You can’t honour Him if you don’t know Him. You can’t love Him if you don’t know Him. Oftentimes, the way some call His Name reveals whether or not they truly recognise His divine identity and supreme lordship.

For example, after His resurrection and ascension, no one who addressed Him called Him Jesus; they called Him Lord Jesus. He’s Lord Jesus! That’s what those who truly encountered Him called Him. Consider Saul of Tarsus; he was knocked down by divine power on the road to Damascus and said, “Who are you, Lord?”

The moment he heard the answer, “I am Jesus”, his reverence changed because he had a real encounter. Read it as Luke puts it: “And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks” (Acts 9:4-5).

Many say they have seen Him, yet continue to address Him without reverence. A true encounter with the glorified Christ transforms how you speak to Him or about Him. You recognise His majesty. You honour His lordship. John the Apostle saw Him in glory on the Isle of Patmos, and his response was recorded in Revelation 1:17: “…When I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead….” He fell under the power, because of the manifestation of divine glory. Then the Master laid His hand upon him and spoke a blessing: “Fear not; I am the first and the last.” This is the glorified Christ.

Your worship, your words, and your life should reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for Him. He is “…the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:13-14). He’s Lord of all, and Lord of heaven and earth (Acts 10:36, Acts 17:24).

PRAYER

Blessed Lord Jesus, I thank you for unveiling your lordship and glory to my spirit. My worship, my words, and my life reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for your majesty, unparalleled greatness, dominion, great glory, and everlasting reign. Amen.

Lionel Messi Shines as David Beckham Inaugurates Groundbreaking $1 Billion Stadium

0

Lionel Messi reached another significant milestone in his illustrious career on Saturday night by scoring Inter Miami’s inaugural goal at their newly unveiled Nu Stadium.

This landmark moment occurred in the 10th minute during a match against Austin FC, just shortly after the visitors had nearly dampened the stadium’s grand debut.

Austin FC’s Guilherme Biro made history by netting the first-ever goal in the stadium with a header in the sixth minute, much to the dismay of the local fans.

However, Messi swiftly responded by connecting with an Ian Fray cross, expertly heading the ball to equalize the score and electrify the Inter Miami supporters.

This goal marked Messi’s fifth in the MLS season over just six appearances, showcasing his continued dominance since the start of the 2026 campaign.

Before kickoff, the atmosphere was electric as David Beckham addressed the fans alongside co-owners Jorge and Jose Mas to celebrate the stadium’s opening.

Beckham praised the Argentine icon, calling him the ‘best player in the history of the game’ while thanking him for his impact on Inter Miami.

The stadium itself features a permanent tribute to the star, with a section on the east side officially dedicated as the ‘Leo Messi Stand.’

‘We believed in Miami,’ Beckham said. ‘And Miami believed in us.’

The game eventually ended 2-2 after Austin’s Jayden Nelson restored the visitors’ advantage, before Luis Suarez restored parity in the game with nine minutes left.

It marked the first time that Inter Miami played a game in its namesake city, having previously spent more than six years calling Fort Lauderdale home.

The stadium itself is reported to have cost around $350 million, however the entire Miami Freedom Park campus will cost approximately $1 billion to construct.

The complex will feature the 26,700-seater stadium, a 5,000 space parking lot, a 750-room hotel, a retail village, 58 acres of public parks and community soccer fields.

According to the club, the new stadium has been entirely privately funded and required no city money to complete construction. However, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis did allocate $8 million in public funding to complete a road around the stadium.

Beckham was joined by his Spice Girl wife Victoria, 51, and two of their children – Cruz and Romeo – as he opened his Inter Miami team’s new stadium.

Cruz, 21, took to Instagram with snaps as he toured the venue, after estranged brother Brooklyn was spotted taking a ‘tense’ phone call amid their ongoing family feud.

He said he ‘couldn’t be more proud’ of his father as he took in the huge new state-of-the-art stadium before sitting in Lionel Messi’s pitchside seat.

Cruz penned: ‘Dad I really couldn’t be more proud of you, you have inspired me every day to be a better human and have consistently proved that as long as you work as hard as you can you can achieve your dreams.’

Before adding: ‘And today you have made history once again, Vamos Miami, see ya tonight’.

David shared a first look at Inter Miami’s new $750million (£566.5m) stadium on Friday ahead of its official unveiling.

The England legend announced the beginning of construction on the project, then called Miami Freedom Park, in 2023, three years on from the club’s founding.

Beckham posted a picture to Instagram during Inter Miami’s first training session at the Nu Stadium, with the caption ‘Our new home (two pink heart emojis)’ adorning the video of the gleaming pink and white ground.

The 50-year-old also shared a post with pictures of the ground – and himself testing out the turf – to his main grid, which was celebrated by a slew of well-wishers.

Tragic Plane Crash in Crimea: 29 Lives Lost in Russian Military Disaster

0

In a tragic incident on Wednesday, a Russian military aircraft crash in the annexed region of Crimea resulted in the loss of six crew members and 23 passengers, as reported by Russian news agencies referencing the Defense Ministry.

The ill-fated An-26 military transport plane was engaged in a routine flight over Crimea, a territory Russia controversially annexed from Ukraine in 2014. The aircraft lost communication with military authorities around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the reports.

The Russian Investigative Committee clarified that the aircraft carried a total of seven crew members and 23 passengers. However, official reports have yet to confirm whether any crew member survived the crash.

Russia’s Investigative Committee said a total of seven crew members and 23 passengers were on board. It wasn’t immediately clear from official statements if one crew member had survived.

The Investigative Committee said it has launched a criminal probe in connection with flight regulations and a search is underway in a mountainous forested area in the Bakhchisarai district.

The Interfax news agency cited the Defense Ministry as saying a suspected technical malfunction may have caused the crash and that there was no “damaging interference” with the aircraft.

The state is actively ensuring that service stations comply with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s new regulations on price gouging. This includes verifying that any savings from the federal government’s fuel excise reduction are being passed on to consumers.

In the upcoming weeks, most service stations across the state will undergo physical inspections, with a particular focus on those in regional areas.

In the meantime, NSW Fair Trading has urged motorists to report service stations and price issues via its website or FuelCheck.

It comes as the state pours $2.2 million into upgrading FuelCheck, a government-run app that provides real-time fuel prices, as more people reach for the service in light of surging fuel prices.

The number of people using the app increased by 490,000 from 10,000 in January to 500,000 in March.

The funding will improve data collection from fuel retailers, data analysis and design.

“Over the past two weeks, millions of NSW motorists have turned to FuelCheck to help find the best fuel price and navigate fuel supply gaps,” Fair Trading Minister Anoulack Chanthivong said.

“These are uncertain times, but we want the people of New South Wales to have the utmost confidence in the real-time price transparency data provided by FuelCheck.”

RHONY’s Sai De Silva Speaks Out Following Husband’s Divorce Filing

Sai De Silva has addressed the public for the first time following the recent divorce filing by her husband, David Craig, two days ago.

The 45-year-old star of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” who has been married to Craig for nearly a decade, took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to share her thoughts.

“I am truly grateful for the kindness, grace, and support so many of you have shown me,” she expressed in her message. “Your messages have overwhelmed me, and they mean more than you can imagine.”

De Silva and Craig are parents to two children: their 14-year-old daughter, London, and their 8-year-old son, Rio.

In her statement, she added, “My heart is devoted to my children, and my priority is to provide them with as much stability and love as possible during this time.”

Craig submitted the legal filing in New York City on Thursday morning, according to court records reviewed by the Daily Mail.

De Silva added in her statement, ‘Living life publicly isn’t always easy, but it’s a reminder that we should all lead with compassion.

‘You never really know what someone is navigating behind the scenes.’

‘It was necessary to file,’ Craig’s lawyer Nancy Chemtob exclusively told the Daily Mail.

She withheld any specifics on the filing, noting it’s too early to get into the details.

De Silva has been a cast member on the Bravo series since the show was rebooted in 2022, first appearing on season 14 in 2023.

Production for season 16 is currently underway, meaning the star’s split will unfold on the show, which is expected to premiere later this year or in early 2027.

In addition to De Silva, the show will feature returning cast members Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank, plus newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond and Daisy Toye.

Carole Radziwill will also appear in a ‘friend of’ role.

De Silva and Craig met in 2009, while the TV personality was on a vacation in Costa Rica and he was there for work.

They welcomed their two kids before tying the knot in June 2017.

Craig is from Canada while De Silva is a New York City native.

As the mom of two’s career keeps her in the public eye, her now-estranged husband has always opted to stay out of the spotlight.

She once wrote on her blog, Scout the City, ‘He’s my perfect guy who loves his privacy and I respect that. He’s supportive, encouraging and always by our side.

‘I admit, he’s a terrible Instagram husband but other than that we’re thick as thieves.’

Tori Spelling found herself in a distressing incident this past Thursday in Temecula, California. The actress, aged 52, was involved in a car accident while some of her children were passengers in the vehicle.

According to reports from TMZ, Spelling was driving an SUV when another car reportedly struck her vehicle at a high speed. The collision prompted a swift response from law enforcement.

Police were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6 PM in Temecula, a city located approximately 85 miles east of Los Angeles. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two vehicles, both exhibiting significant damage from the crash.

Images circulating online, although unverified, depict a car with extensive damage to its front, and an SUV missing parts of its bumper, lights, and undercarriage, providing a stark visual of the collision’s severity.

Unconfirmed pictures linked to the crash online show a car with severe damage to the entire front of the vehicle and an SUV with parts of its bumper, lights and undercarriage missing.

Their car was then hit by another vehicle that allegedly ran a red light while also speeding down the road.

Occupants of the vehicles were evaluated at the scene of the collision and no arrests were made at the time, according to reports.

Spelling, her four children as well as their friends were taken to the hospital in three ambulances, TMZ reported.

They were subsequently treated for injuries such as cuts, contusions and concussions.

Eyewitnesses took a video of the scene as Spelling communicated with officers – which was obtained by TMZ.

She could be seen animatedly moving her arms around as she seemingly described what allegedly occurred during the accident.

The eyewitnesses told the outlet that the actress did not appear angry as she spoke to others at the scene.

An investigation is still underway in regards to the car collision which took place on Thursday.

Daily Mail has reached out to a rep for Spelling for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

While talking to People last month in March, Spelling revealed that she is not in the dating scene.
