Trump’s Reversal on Iran Threat: Expert Analysis on Ongoing Uncertainty

The operation known as Epic Fury has been unfolding in Iran for over a month, with tensions reaching a new peak this past Tuesday evening.

President Trump had issued a stern warning, indicating that every bridge and power plant in Iran could face destruction if a resolution was not achieved by 7 p.m. Central Time. However, around 5:30 p.m., he decided to extend the deadline by two weeks.

Costly Solar Setback: Woman’s Daily ₦38,000 Fuel Expense Sparks Outrage

A woman recently turned to social media in exasperation after investing several million naira in a solar power system that failed to deliver on its promises.

Frustration over unreliable solar system

In a widely circulated post on Monday, she shared her disappointment, noting that her newly installed inverter and solar setup, intended to minimize fuel reliance, provides electricity for only a few hours each day.

Her grievance underscores the broader concerns about the effectiveness and expense of alternative energy solutions in the face of Nigeria’s ongoing power shortages.

I’m fed up with this solar headache. My inverter supports us for merely four hours daily, and I’ve resorted to using a generator again. I spend ₦38,000 on fuel every single day,” she lamented.

Rising energy costs spark wider concern

Her remarks have ignited discussions among Nigerians grappling with similar challenges of unreliable electricity and the substantial costs associated with maintaining alternative power sources.

While solar energy is often promoted as a long-term solution to erratic power, some users argue that poor installation, substandard equipment, or unrealistic expectations may contribute to disappointing outcomes.

The situation reflects a broader trend, as many households have increasingly turned to solar systems in recent years following repeated tariff hikes and unreliable grid supply.

However, complaints about performance and maintenance costs continue to surface, raising questions about accessibility and sustainability.

If you don’t invest properly or get the right setup, you may still end up relying on fuel,” she implied, as reactions poured in from users sharing similar experiences.

A-10 Warthog Assigned Innovative Maritime Mission to Target Iranian Boats Amid Retirement Deliberations

0

The A-10 Warthog is now playing a pivotal role in maritime operations, specifically in targeting vessels amid the conflict with Iran. This development could potentially extend the aircraft’s service life, despite the U.S. Air Force’s long-standing plans to retire it.

Efforts by the Air Force to phase out the A-10 have faced significant resistance from Congress, which has consistently blocked any reductions in the fleet of these aircraft.

The A-10s have been actively deployed in U.S. military operations against Iran, as the Pentagon recognizes the aircraft’s capability to loiter and deliver precise firepower against small boats and coastal threats.

In a Pentagon briefing last month, Gen. Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, confirmed that A-10s are actively engaged in the conflict. They are operating along the southern flank, including targeting Iranian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

“We continue to hunt and kill mine storage facilities and naval ammunition depots. We continue to hunt and kill afloat assets, including more than 120 vessels and 44 mine layers, and the pressure will continue,” Caine said in the March 19 briefing.

“The A-10 Warthog is now in the fight across the southern flank and is hunting and killing fast attack watercraft in the Straits of Hormuz. In addition, AH-64 Apaches have joined the fight on the southern flank, and they continue to work on the southern side. And that includes some of our allies who are using Apaches to handle one-way attack drones,” he continued.

This comes as President Donald Trump has escalated threats against Iran, including its civilian infrastructure, over its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which has disrupted global energy shipments. However, the U.S. and Iran agreed to a temporary ceasefire on Tuesday, hours before Trump’s deadline to strike power plants and bridges unless Tehran reopened the Strait of Hormuz.

As of 2026, the Air Force has around 280 A-10 aircraft in service, and Congress required that the fleet not fall below 103 aircraft in Fiscal Year 2026 as part of the National Defense Authorization Act.

While the A-10 is slower and less stealthy than newer aircraft, making it vulnerable in heavily contested airspace against modern integrated air defense systems, it has a long loiter time over target areas and the ability to visually identify and engage targets.

Originally designed as a Cold War-era tank killer, the A-10 is now being used in a markedly different role — targeting small, fast-moving boats and coastal threats amid the conflict with Iran. The use of the aircraft is intensifying debate over the Air Force’s decade-long effort to retire the jet, as it continues to be utilized in new missions.

Chatham County’s Top Fugitive: Sheriff Launches Intense Search

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. — In a decisive move, Chatham County Sheriff Richard Coleman announced the county’s most sought-after fugitive on Tuesday night, delivering a stern message that evading the law is not an option.

Authorities have identified Meshawn Shamar Richardson as a suspect in a series of burglaries, attracting the attention of both local law enforcement and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Richardson is wanted on federal charges, while the county seeks to apprehend him on felony charges.

Sheriff Coleman acknowledged that Richardson has so far managed to stay one step ahead of the authorities. Last week, searches were conducted in the areas of Montgomery Landings and Westlake in an attempt to locate him.

Expressing his determination during a live Facebook broadcast on Tuesday, Coleman declared, “I’ll get you if it’s the last thing I do on Earth.”

While conducting a vehicle search at Westlake following a tip-off about Richardson’s whereabouts, deputies discovered a significant quantity of drugs, which Coleman described as “enough dope to supply the whole West Chatham County.”

“You led us right to the dope Meshawn,” the sheriff said. “…Thanks to brother Meshawn we got pounds of dope off the street…Back to you being a suspect villain.”

Sheriff Coleman’s example of Richardson’s alleged disguise.

Coleman said Richardson wore a disguise to escape deputies at Westlake and gave residents a demonstration of what he was dressed like. The sheriff said the “street OG” wore a wig, shades and a hat to escape.

“You will not victimize anybody else in this in county,” he said. “Do you understand me? Matter fact, everybody that’s listening, check your pockets, I’m calling his name. I might have something missing out of my pockets, I’m calling his name too much.”

Richardson allegedly jumped out of the car and ran from law enforcement in two instances, once with Savannah Police and once with county deputies.

Coleman said that he is “on his neck” and will continue to be until Richardson is arrested.

Parents Abandon Baby at Crime Scene After Copper Cable Theft, Police Report

In Pennsylvania, a couple is facing charges after allegedly abandoning their 4-month-old baby at a crime scene during a theft incident.

The pair, Joseph Daniels, aged 49, and Angelina Williams, aged 32, are facing multiple charges. These include theft by unlawful taking, child endangerment, theft of secondary metal, possession of stolen goods, criminal mischief, conspiracy, and possession of crime instruments, as confirmed by the Upper Chichester Township Police Department. For further details, you can check the official police report.

Additionally, a third individual, Ray Gibase, 47, is also facing similar charges in connection with the incident.

The police report states that around 2:15 a.m. on March 30, the three suspects were allegedly engaged in tampering with cable wires near the 3100 block of Meetinghouse Road in Upper Chichester Township. They were reportedly using a maroon Chrysler 300 and a Jeep Liberty during the operation.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed the Chrysler with cable wires sticking out of the open trunk and hand saws visibly placed on the passenger seats. It is alleged that the group was cutting an inactive Verizon cable, according to local news coverage by ABC affiliate WPVI.

“The copper inside the cables is a hot item for the precious metals to be melted down and taken to wherever they can to get pawned,” Upper Chichester Police Department Lt. Christopher Jones told the outlet.

The police department said its officers “secured and towed” the Chrysler to its headquarters and waited for a search warrant to be approved. However, while inspecting it, an officer “observed a baby car seat covered with a blanket. He then noticed movement and discovered an infant inside.”

“Once it was back here, our officers were checking the exterior of the car, and one officer noticed that a blanket in the backseat moved slightly,” Jones said.

Officers went inside and found that the baby boy was “unharmed” and sleeping. He was brought to a local hospital to be looked over.

The three suspects are believed to have driven away in the Jeep as the officers initially arrived at the crime scene. Sometime later, officers with the Aston Police Department stopped the vehicle and found Williams and Gibase inside, as well as a “saw blade under the passenger seat.”

“Further investigation determined that the infant”s mother, Angelina Williams, was involved in the cable wire tampering incident,” the Upper Chichester Police Department said. “She was subsequently taken into custody and admitted to her involvement.”

Gibase was released but turned himself in to police on Sunday. Daniels — identified by WPVI as the baby’s father — was driving a maroon Chrysler 300 on Saturday morning with three women inside when troopers pulled him over. “Upon further investigation, Troopers determined that Daniels had an active arrest warrant issued by the Upper Chichester Township Police Department.” He was arrested.

Police did not say whether this was the same Chrysler that they had towed and found the baby inside.

Court records show that all three defendants have appeared for a preliminary arraignment. Williams is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Thursday, while Daniels and Gibase are scheduled to have theirs on April 16.

Williams is being held on $100,000 bail, Daniels is being held on $45,000 bail, and Gibase is being held on $50,000 bail.

NSW Renters Endure Extreme Heat in Homes Lacking Adequate Cooling

0

As the recent summer blazed through New South Wales, many renters found themselves enduring oppressive heat within their homes. Alarming new data reveals that the temperatures inside some rental properties soared to a sweltering 40°C, posing significant health risks.

A study conducted by the rental advocacy group Better Renting monitored 50 rental homes throughout the state from December 2025 to March 2026. The findings highlight a worrying trend: while the World Health Organisation flags indoor temperatures above 25°C as a potential overheating risk, numerous participants in the study were exposed to temperatures between 25°C and 30°C for an average of 12 hours each day.

This prolonged exposure to intense heat left renters grappling with severe fatigue, headaches, nausea, anxiety, and exacerbations of pre-existing health conditions. The oppressive conditions were so unbearable that two participants required hospital emergency care due to the detrimental impact of the heat on their health.

The indoor temperature at Bel Langford's rental property reached a peak of 35.7 degrees during a heatwave on January 10.

The situation underscores the urgent need for improved living conditions for renters in New South Wales, as current environments threaten not only comfort but also the well-being of those residing in these homes.

The health impacts became so severe that the extreme heat even drove two renters participating in the study to visit the hospital emergency departments.

‘It’s pretty gross: A renter’s nightmare

Bel Langford, 19, was one of the participants in the study.

Langford, a part-time student and worker, lives with a flatmate in a Dulwich Hill apartment, in Sydney’s inner west.

The older-style brick unit has large, west-facing windows and no trees for shade.

“For most of summer, from about 11am until sunset, we have direct sun streaming into our windows,” she said.

“It’s a bit like a pizza oven … it just heats and heats and heats and then it can’t cool down overnight either. It’s pretty gross”

Bel Langford says minimum temperature or insulation standards are needed in NSW to protect renters like her.

During the summer, the peak temperature recorded in her apartment was 35.7 degrees.

Langford, who is neurodivergent and takes medication that increases sweating, told nine.com.au the heat became a sensory nightmare which left her physically and mentally exhausted.

Desperate for a bit of relief, Langford said she slept with ice packs and set up three fans in her room.

“Unfortunately for us, most nights, especially in January, were above 25 degrees. During two of the heat waves, it didn’t drop below 27.7 overnight for three nights,” she said.

Langford resorted to sleeping with ice packs and running three separate fans in her bedroom just to stay regulated.

But the physical toll was still visible; with Langford developing an uncomfortable heat rash all over her body.

Bel Langford resorted to placing three fans around her bedroom in an effort to cool down.

Call for mandatory standards

The report argues that these conditions are a direct consequence of policy failure. New South Wales currently has no mandatory minimum energy efficiency standards for rental homes, meaning landlords are not legally required to provide basic features like insulation or effective ventilation.

Meanwhile, the ACT implemented mandatory standards for insulation, draught-proofing, and efficient heating/cooling in 2023 and Victoria is set to follow suit in 2027, leaving NSW is under pressure to follow suit.

NSW Rental Commissioner, Trina Jones, has been tasked with investigating how to improve energy efficiency in rental properties.

Bernadette Barrett, Deputy CEO of Better Renting, said it was time for the government to step in.

“After reading survey responses from renters who can’t sleep, can’t function properly in their homes, and in some cases are ending up in hospital because their homes are too hot, you have to ask — how are we allowing this to continue?” she said.

Barrett said the NSW Government has a clear opportunity to introduce minimum energy efficiency standards so that renters can sleep, work, and live safely.

Currently, the only way for a tenant to claim a property is uninhabitable due to temperature is to take the matter to the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal, a process that is often too slow and intimidating for young or vulnerable renters.

Langford said it would come as a huge relief if her landlord decided to install an air conditioning unit in their rental property, but they did not want to ask for it in case it led to an increase in their rent.

“We’re very nervous that if we ask for aircon to be installed, that will risk a rent increase, and we just don’t want to be priced out of our unit,” she said.

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 – Multiplied Peace

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 Wednesday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Multiplied Peace

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 TOPIC – Multiplied Peace

MEMORISE: Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. – Psalm 119:165 (KJV)

READ: Daniel 6:25-28 (KJV)

25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Samuel 23-24

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 MESSAGE

In some cultures, kings often greet their subjects by saying, “Peace be multiplied unto you.” In Daniel 6:25, when King Darius was writing to all his subjects after Daniel had escaped the lions’ den unhurt, he started his letter with, “Peace be multiplied unto you.” Also, in the New Testament, each time Apostle Paul wrote to the various churches, he would start by greeting them, “Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father” (Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 1:2, Galatians 1:3). Likewise, Peter, in his letters, often wrote, “Peace be multiplied unto you” (1 Peter 1:2 and 2 Peter 1:2). All of these greetings make us understand that peace can increase, and it can be multiplied. Even if you feel that you already have peace and there is nothing to worry about, you should always pray that your peace will be multiplied. If peace can bring so much rest, multiplied peace can bring much more.

Years ago, I was returning from Britain to Nigeria on the same flight as a great man of God and his wife. According to his testimony, which I heard later on, he told his wife during the flight that since Daddy G.O. was on the plane with them, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. When we were halfway through the journey, the plane encountered severe turbulence, and the entire cabin began to shake. According to the man of God, he got up at that moment, looked at where I was seated on the plane, and saw that I was fast asleep. He then returned to his seat and told his wife that there was absolutely nothing to worry about because “Daddy is sleeping.” He said that seeing me sleeping at that moment multiplied the peace he already had.

When you experience multiplied peace from God, every form of trouble or fear will be far from you. In John 14:27, Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” I pray that the peace of the Lord will be multiplied unto you today, in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, the secret to enjoying multiplied peace from God is revealed in today’s memory verse – loving Him and His law. If you indeed want your peace to be multiplied, you must love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37), and obey His commandments at all times.

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 PRAYER POINT

Father, please multiply Your peace in all areas of my life, in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 8 April 2026 HYMN 29 – When Peace Like A River Attendeth My Way

1 When peace like a river
attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot,
thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.

Refrain
(may be sung after final stanza only):
It is well with my soul;
it is well, it is well with my soul.

2 Though Satan should buffet, though trials
should come,
let this blest assurance control:
that Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
and has shed his own blood for my soul. Refrain

3 My sin oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
my sin, not in part, but the whole,
is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more;
praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! Refrain

4 O Lord, haste the day
when my faith shall be sight,
the clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
the trump shall resound and the Lord shall
descend;
even so, it is well with my soul. Refrain

DCLM Daily Manna 8 April 2026 — Salvation Is For All

DCLM Daily Manna 8 April 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Salvation Is For All

TOPIC: Salvation Is For All (DCLM Daily Manna 8 April 2026)

KEY VERSE: For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him – Romans 10:12

TEXT: Romans 10:12-16 (KJV)

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

It is believed that of the world’s population of about 8 billion, approximately 2.4 billion people profess Christianity, representing about 33.3 percent. That sounds exciting, but of the number, how many have essential Christian experiences? How many know as outlined in the American Holiness Journal that: “God is the originating cause of salvation. Jesus is the meritorious cause. Faith is the conditional cause. The Spirit is the efficient cause. In other words, God thought it. Jesus brought it. The Word taught it. The mind caught it. The soul sought it. Faith brought it. The Spirit wrought it. The devil fought it. But I’ve got it”?

Apostle Paul clearly states that everyone, irrespective of nationality or background, is welcome into God’s kingdom. The cocktail of preaching, hearing and believing, in the salvation process, is clearly stated. Salvation comes by grace, through faith. We do not work to earn it but receive it as a gift by faith in Christ, after genuinely turning from all sin.

It is appalling, however, that despite the gift of salvation, myriads wallow in ignorance of self-effort to obtain it. Though God’s grace is available for all, ignorantly, some people believe that, irrespective of a person’s choice, man is predestined for either heaven or hell. In other words, no matter what a person does or does not do, he cannot change his predestination or fate. But the uniform testimony of the Scriptures is that God is love and has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Christ’s substitutionary sacrifice is meant to redeem all who willingly turn away from sin and embrace His provision for their pardon. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Some other errors associated with the issue of salvation are: Once saved, a person remains saved, his ways and life of compromise notwithstanding.

Not considering colour, creed, or nationality, the arms of the Lord are open to all who come to Him. His grace is sufficient to keep all who have embraced Christ as Saviour and Lord. Beyond knowing Christ as Saviour, believers must continue in the faith by holy living, and seeking to win others to the Lord while awaiting the return of the King of glory.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Justification is by faith for all who accept Christ as Lord and Saviour

Unmasking the Silent Threat: What Ignoring Stomach Pain Revealed

0

Katie Rich, a New York-based educator, was perplexed by an unusual soreness in her abdomen that seemed to linger. After recently delivering her third child via cesarean section, the 33-year-old noticed a discomfort in her ribs that hadn’t appeared during her previous pregnancies.

“It wasn’t painful enough to take immediate action,” Rich, who is now a 47-year-old educational administrator, recounted in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Back in 2018, during a routine visit to her OBGYN, she mentioned this persistent pain. Initially, it was attributed to a potential gallbladder issue, a reasonable assumption given her family history—both her brother and mother had undergone gallbladder removal. With this in mind, she scheduled a follow-up appointment with her primary care doctor.

However, just five minutes after conducting an abdominal sonogram, doctors informed Rich that her gallbladder was perfectly healthy. Instead, there was an unexpected finding—a ‘shadow’ on her liver.

Five minutes after performing a sonogram of Rich’s abdomen, doctors called her with news that her gallbladder was fine, but there was a ‘shadow’ showing up on her liver.

Rich claims the doctor said, ‘You know what? You’re 33 years old. Don’t worry about it.’ Still, he ordered an MRI scan to be safe, which came back inconclusive. A biopsy a few days later, however, revealed a devastating diagnosis: Stage 4 colorectal cancer.

Despite having no symptoms other than the pain around her ribs, Rich’s cancer was severe enough to have spread from one tumor in her colon to several that covered about 70 percent of her liver.

At the time, her youngest son was only eight weeks old, she was looking at a survival rate of just 13 percent.

Katie Rich (pictured at right with her husband and four children) was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2012 after suffering just one symptom: abdominal pain

Katie Rich (pictured at right with her husband and four children) was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2012 after suffering just one symptom: abdominal pain

Within days, doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City fitted her with a chemotherapy port to start aggressive treatments.

‘They just kind of hit the ground running because it was bad,’ Rich said.

Rich is one of a growing number of Americans under the age of 50 to be diagnosed with colon cancer (CRC), squashing the long-held idea that it is an old person’s disease.

Despite the disease decreasing by about 2.5 percent per year in people over 65, a recent report from the American Cancer Society (ACS) found incidence among adults under 50 – which is considered early-onset – has gone up by about three percent yearly.

In fact, 45 percent of CRC diagnoses are in people under 65 years old, according to ACS.

The ACS report also found three in four CRC patients under 50 are diagnosed at either regional (Stage 3) or distant (Stage 4) stage.

Within that group, 27 percent are in Stage 4 at the time of diagnosis, including Rich.

According to ACS data, the five-year survival rate for localized colorectal cancer is 91 percent, which drops to 74 percent for regional cases. But in distant disease, the survival rate drops to 13 percent.

Another study also found CRC to be the leading cause of cancer death in Americans under 50.

And many patients, like Rich, have few or no symptoms, allowing the disease to lurk undetected for months or years and be diagnosed in later, harder to treat stages.

Common signs like dabs of blood on toilet paper, abdominal pain and trouble passing bowel movements also often get ignored in young patients or attributed to more common, benign conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

‘I think my pregnancy probably masked a lot of my symptoms, maybe like constipation,’ Rich told the Daily Mail. ‘I always had small bowel issues, but nothing major. I was diagnosed with IBS in my early 20s, but it wasn’t anything debilitating.’

Increasing numbers of colon cancer patients also have no obvious risk factors for the disease such as diets high in processed meat, a lack of physical activity and obesity. Rich was a Division I athlete before having kids and always maintained a healthy diet.

‘It comes as a shock for sure. It doesn’t seem like something that can affect you, being young and healthy,’ she said.

Rich had only had one colonoscopy at age 20, 13 years before her colon cancer diagnosis, to diagnose her IBS.

Colon cancer also does not run in her family, though her brother had pre-cancerous polyps removed soon after Rich’s diagnosis.

Rich started her first of eight rounds of chemotherapy a week after being diagnosed with colon cancer, which was done with 48-hour infusions.

The treatment shrunk the tumors on her liver enough to help her qualify for surgery in February 2013, which removed 70 percent of her liver and 30 percent of her colon. While the colon does not regenerate, the liver grows back to its normal size within a few weeks.

Along with chemotherapy and surgery, Rich also saw a nutritionist and adopted some alternative therapy practices such as Reiki.

Rich completed her chemotherapy treatments in June 2013 and soon after was declared cancer free. In July 2014, she found out she was pregnant with her fourth child, despite the risk of chemotherapy damaging her eggs and increasing her chance of facing fertility challenges.

While the family was overjoyed, the news was also ‘very, very scary,’ Rich told the Daily Mail, because Stage 4 colon cancer has a 30 to 50 percent recurrence rate within five years.

‘I had three healthy kids at home,’ she remembered thinking. ‘Do I risk my life for this?’

Rich and her husband decided to keep the pregnancy, and their fourth child, a daughter named Hope, was born in April 2015. While Rich has not suffered any recurrences and her baby was born healthy, she knows the risk was real. Keeping the pregnancy, she said, ‘was a very, very tough decision to make.’

After completing chemotherapy, Rich found out she was pregnant with her fourth child, a daughter named Hope, who is pictured above with Rich and her husband

Rich is now cancer free and is encouraging other young patients to look out for the warning signs and listen to their bodies

Rich is now cancer free and is encouraging other young patients to look out for the warning signs and listen to their bodies

‘During cancer, I felt like there really weren’t hard decisions because we had one goal. No matter what the doctor said, we said to do it. We wanted to survive. Here, we had a decision to make, and it was hard,’ she added.

Rich had her hepatic artery infusion (HAI) pump, which delivered maintenance chemotherapy directly into her liver, removed in 2024 after it was first inserted for chemotherapy in 2012. She has scans every 18 months to check for recurrence and undergoes a colonoscopy every two years.

Health authorities in the US recommend adults over 45 have a colonoscopy every ten years, but due to their family history, Rich’s children will have them starting at age 23, ten years before her own diagnosis.

Along with visiting a doctor for any unusual symptoms, Rich urges other young people diagnosed with cancer to focus on their mindset.

‘Throughout the whole ordeal, I was very, very positive, and I just had a mentality of: There’s really only one option here, I’m going to beat this,’ she said. ‘The alternative really didn’t cross my mind often.

‘I really, really believe that your mindset plays such an important part in how your body reacts. Having that positive mindset and idea that there’s always hope is really important.’

Tori Spelling Speaks Out on Frightening Car Accident Involving Seven Children Hospitalized

Tori Spelling has broken her silence following a significant car accident earlier this week, during which she was accompanied by seven children.

In a heartfelt Instagram video shared on Tuesday, Spelling recounted, “I felt it was time to reach out to everyone. It’s taken me a moment to post because, as many of you know, four of my kids along with three of their friends and I were involved in a car accident just days before Easter in Temecula, California.”
