A dance instructor in Delaware has been apprehended by state police, accused of sexual abuse involving her students.

According to an official release, “The Delaware State Police have taken into custody 23-year-old Emily Pryor Albino from Seaford, Delaware. She faces serious charges of felony sexual abuse and solicitation of minors, following an ongoing investigation into the matter.”

Although initial reports mention two alleged victims, authorities suspect that there may be additional victims involved in this disturbing case.

Delaware State Police began their investigation on August 4, after receiving information that Pryor Albino, a dance teacher at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel, Delaware, had engaged in sexual misconduct with two teens attending the dance school.

“Further investigation revealed that Pryor Albino also exchanged sexually explicit messages with the two victims. Detectives have reason to believe there are additional unidentified victims,” state police said.

The woman faces felony charges of sexual solicitation of a child using a computer, cell phone or other electronic device and four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust. State police also notes that Pryor Albino was “arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and committed to the Department of Correction on a $110,000 cash bond.”

FBI Reopens Search for Nancy Guthrie After Monsoon Alters Neighborhood Environment

0

TUCSON, Ariz. — Just days before the six-month anniversary of Nancy Guthrie’s mysterious disappearance, a neighbor in the Catalina Foothills reported seeing FBI agents combing through the brush behind the octogenarian’s home. This new development unfolds in a case that has left investigators with more questions than answers.

Although the Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson mentioned that no task force investigators had visited the neighborhood recently, the neighbor insists she identified individuals who had previously participated in law enforcement activities linked to Guthrie’s case. As of now, the FBI hasn’t issued a comment regarding these claims.

This particular neighbor, residing just a few houses away, observed authorities diligently sifting through the dense desert vegetation.

Authorities believe that Guthrie, the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, was forcibly taken from her residence in the early morning hours of February 1. This gripping case has stirred considerable public interest due to its high-profile connections and the unsettling nature of the incident.

Bob Krygier, a seasoned former lieutenant with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and an ex-SWAT commander, speculated on the potential reasons behind investigators revisiting the area. Possibilities include the emergence of new leads or shifting evidence caused by recent weather changes, both of which could significantly impact ongoing search efforts.

“There’s a couple of different reasons that go through my mind first is going to be they got some leads, they got some new tips that are viable, and they’re out there looking for something specific or in an area specific to that, because I’m certain that they’ve searched those areas already,” he told Fox News Digital.

It could also be that, six months into the investigation, authorities are putting a fresh set of eyes on the case, he said.

And heavy rains may also have altered the landscape, potentially exposing or moving evidence investigators hadn’t previously seen, he said.

“About a month ago, monsoon season started here in Tucson and a lot of water has come down — a lot of water at once, and it pushes things,” he said. “So it’s moved the environment. Rocks have been pushed away.”

Depending on the area, floodwaters can rise from just a few inches to as much as 12 feet, Krygier said, with enough force to sweep away vehicles, trees, rocks and even people.

“I’m not sure if they found him yet, but there was a report of a man in the wash floating down, being pushed downstream by the water — and the Santa Cruz is what that feeds into, which is, you’re looking at 20, 30 feet deep when it’s at its peak and 50, 60 feet across,” he said. “All that water, it’s rushing fast, and it’s taken not only the people, but it’s taken cars, it’s taken trees, branches, rocks, all of this stuff, and basically turned into a big blender.”

Authorities did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News Digital last week that investigators are still following up on active leads, reviewing “tens of thousands” of videos and do not consider the case cold.

On Friday, his office also released a pair of purported ransom notes in the case, in the hope that someone in the public can help identify the sender’s “unique linguistic style.”

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling 520-88-CRIME.

The combined sum of rewards in the case is over $1.2 million and remains unclaimed.

Unveiling Private Island Opportunities: Own Your Dream Oasis for $450 Million

0

A one-of-a-kind private enclave in the Maldives is on the horizon, designed to brave both earthquakes and climbing sea levels. Fancy owning this tropical paradise? It can be yours if you have a hefty $450 million to spare.

Spanning 155 acres, this man-made marvel is more than just a retreat; it’s a testament to future-proof engineering. Dubbed a “deep-water lagoon,” it promises to elevate safely beyond the projected ocean rise of 2100, positioning itself as a haven for the next century.

But this eco-friendly sanctuary awaits a visionary buyer. It’s the ultimate doomsday refuge featuring a children’s club, a subterranean rail network, and more – perfectly aligned with sustainable luxury living.

Emanating the aura of a villain’s lair straight out of a Bond film, this secluded escape lies in the heart of the ocean. It’s a hideaway distanced by thousands of miles from urban hustle, sparking scenes of masterminds conjuring their diabolical plots within its isolated bounds.

Boasting 10 imposing ‘mothership’ fortresses and a sophisticated, earthquake-resistant underwater rail system, this extravagant getaway is tailored for discerning owners. Whether it’s for idyllic retreats or a shadowy base, this $450 million (£335 million) resort blueprint could soon become a reality in the Indian Ocean.

The concept, created by a company whose unique business is to sell private islands to ‘ultra-high-net-worth individuals’, is designed to withstand rising sea levels, in theory providing a safe haven from natural disasters as though it’s a 22nd-century apocalypse hideout.

This theoretical island, named the Adaptive Atoll, is listed online by Private Islands Inc., a website founded nearly 30 years ago in Canada. The company has around 800 islands for sale on its website, starting at $49,000 (£37,898).

The resort is marketed as the ‘permanent situation in an uncertain world… It is a legacy asset designed to remain fully operational and high-yielding well into the 22nd century’ amid what the company describes as ‘the land-submersion crisis’.

Pictured here is the kids’ club that could be included as part of the ‘mega-asset’ development in the Maldives

It features a ‘massive, earthquake-resistant guiding rail system built into the lagoon floor’ and ten huge Brutalist fortresses, or ‘master estates’, crafted from raw timber and coralline stone which are ‘designed to rise with the ocean’. Other USPs include space for more than 30 guest suites and a kids’ club.

The central building provides ‘100 per cent solar energy’, and tunnels that ‘sit safely above projected 2100 sea levels’.

The ‘future-proof logic’ behind the £335million island? ‘As sea levels rise, your resort simply floats higher. No dredging, no reef destruction, and no loss of beach acreage- because your “land” is the ocean itself.’

Chris Krolow, the 53-year-old chief executive who founded Private Islands Inc. in 1999, tells the Daily Mail: ‘Traditional overwater resorts face rapid depreciation from rising sea levels and the relentless operational costs of sand dredging. This isn’t a distant, theoretical risk – it’s visible in real time.

‘Flying into the Maldives today, you can already see the seawall being built around the capital, Malé, and sandbags lining the shores of luxury resorts working to hold back the water. The Adaptive Atoll concept was born out of a desire to create a “built for 2100” legacy asset that solves this problem directly.’

He says the core purpose of the resort is to ‘bypass the land-submersion crisis’ with technology developed by Private Islands that ‘combats rising sea levels by decoupling the resort from fixed land’.

The underwater rail network would be a ‘massive guiding system’ constructed on the lagoon floor on which it would be possible to move the fortresses across the estate as sea levels rise.

Mr Krolow adds: ‘The 155-acre deep-water lagoon concession is a real, physical site in the Maldives. To ensure seamless international access for high-profile clients, the layout specifically accommodates fly-in capabilities, meaning owners and guests can arrive directly via seaplane, private helicopter, or adjacent flight access points.’

The ideal client for the £335million island, says the chief executive, is an ultra-high-net-worth individual, including ‘highly successful entrepreneurs, tech founders, and corporate entities who already own high-end waterfront properties’. The CEO has previously suggested that rich, American men who support Donald Trump form a significant part of his company’s customer base.

He previously told The Telegraph: ‘At the end of the day, if you want island ownership in the sense that it’s yours, you’re there and there’s no one else, it’s possible. And you don’t have to be super rich, but you do need to be a little crazy. You need to have a set of balls, and you need to have been bitten by that island bug.’

Private Islands Inc., which created the blueprint, said the island is targeted at ultra-high-net-worth individuals, sovereign wealth funds or ultra-luxury hospitality brands

Pictured is another concept for how the private island, which is designed for the next century, would come to life

Pictured is another concept for how the private island, which is designed for the next century, would come to life

And, yes, he confirms. It is a serious idea.

The salesman-turned-CEO says: ‘This is a serious architectural and marine engineering concept, and the underlying technology exists today, drawing on precedent from floating and reclaimed-land marine infrastructure built elsewhere.

‘To be clear on where this stands, it’s currently a concept, not a project underway. No formal contractor quotes or engineering estimates have been commissioned yet. That’s the next stage.

‘It would be built by specialised marine industrial contractors using heavy-duty offshore construction methods, similar to what’s used for deep-water anchoring, large-scale hydraulic systems, and off-grid marine utilities.

‘The $450million figure is a preliminary estimate, not a quote. A working projection based on the scale of marine infrastructure required, rather than a land-value calculation. As the concept develops, that number would be refined through formal engineering and related estimates.’

But Brutalist architecture doesn’t exactly scream ‘luxury’ the way an extremely rich person with nearly half a billion dollars to spend on a ’22nd century-proof’ island in the Maldives might want. Quite the opposite, it’s reminiscent of Soviet Russia – or Milton Keynes.

It’s this particular style that lends the Adaptive Atoll the look of a classic Bond villain who is carefully plotting his next diabolical plan to take over the world – or destroy it.

Why, then, choose the look of ‘evil villain’s lair’ over ‘Maldivian luxury’?

Mr Krolow explains: ‘Brutalist architecture was intentionally chosen to convey (the concept’s) permanence. Fragile, traditional thatched roofs and slender wooden stilts do not visually or structurally communicate resilience against a changing ocean.

‘By building the ten permanent fortresses from heavy raw timber and coralline stone, the design creates a heavy, anchored, “mothership” aesthetic that provides structural synchronisation and a rock-solid, land-locked feel even during heavy swells.’

Mr Krolow says that ‘while $100million-plus mega-assets attract headlines’, the majority of private islands sales settle between $1million (£745,000) and $3million (£2.2million). However smaller, rustic islands in Canada or Belize dip below $500,000 (£373,000).

‘Island sales are a bit different from traditional real estate,’ he says. ‘The sales cycle on islands is notoriously slow. Deals rely heavily on navigating cross-border tax structures, foreign corporate holding companies, and hidden infrastructure costs – such as power, water and waste – required to make an island habitable.

‘The Bahamas remains the undisputed king of the market due to its proximity to the US and freehold ownership, while areas with severe foreign ownership bans, political instability, or extreme weather windows are the most difficult to move.’

Power Outage Causes Significant Disruption to North-West England Rail Services: Find Out If Your Train Is Affected

0

Widespread travel havoc has gripped England’s train network this afternoon, following a significant electricity supply failure.

This power outage, anticipated to persist until the day ends, is predominantly affecting rail operators in the North West and Greater Manchester areas.

National Rail has issued alerts of two-hour service delays, with some journeys outright cancelled or rerouted due to a malfunction at a Manchester communications hub.

Commuters are facing extensive inconvenience, as evidenced by the evacuation of passengers from stationary trains onto tracks in Manchester.

One railway company has suspended operations entirely, citing safety concerns stemming from the breakdown of essential network communication systems.

Network Rail’s Regional Operating Centre – which houses all the controls to safely operate the railway – has also been impacted, the BBC reported.

The cause of the power outage is an ‘external power supply failure’ in the Ardwick area of Manchester, according to Network Rail.

The lines affected are: Avanti West Coast, Cross Country, East Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway, Northern, TransPennine Express, Lumo and Transport for Wales.

Network Rail has warned of major disruption in the North West for the rest of the day and said power issues happened in Manchester just before 2pm.

It said no trains were running between Manchester Piccadilly through to Manchester Victoria and Bolton with other services across the North West network also impacted.

Trains departing London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street also face delays or are being cancelled.

Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander is receiving regular updates about the disruption.

The Labour MP wrote on X: ‘I am sorry to hear passengers in the North West are affected by a power outage, with trains cancelled or delayed.’

An electrical fault at Manchester Piccadilly also halted trains in April.

An extended 12-hour closure of the railway was needed for repairs because of the ‘complex area where this took place, with over 400 metres of damaged lines’, Network Rail said at the time.

Chris Wright, Network Rail North West route director, said: ‘We’re sorry to passengers impacted by a power issues in Manchester which is causing significant delays to trains through the city.

‘While some services are now running, major disruption is expected for the rest of the day. Passengers with tickets can travel on any Bee Network services. I’d urge anyone planning to travel to check National Rail Enquiries for the latest information.’

TPE said it had stopped ‘all trains due to a failure of the communication systems on the network. Trains are unable to run safely’.

The firm said: ‘There is major disruption and no trains or replacement buses are operating and we strongly advise you not to travel.’

Andrew McClements, Customer Experience and Transformation Director for TPE, said: ‘We’re advising customers not to travel on any TransPennine Express services.

‘This power outage has had a significant impact on services through Manchester and across our network, and major disruption is expected for the rest of the day.

‘We’re sorry for the disruption and thank our customers for their patience.’

London Northwestern Railway said a power cut at Crewe was causing disruption to some of its services and that ‘replacement services have been ordered ‘between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street’.

Avanti West Coast is offering customers full refunds if they no longer wish to travel, while East Midlands Railway and TPE said passengers who have tickets dated for today can use them tomorrow if they decide not to travel.

Meanwhile, East Midlands Railway said it can not run trains between Sheffield and Liverpool Lime Street and it is ‘looking at alternative arrangements’ for passengers.

The rail firm said in a post on X: ‘Please remember that this can take time. We appreciate your patience whilst we do this.’

Some passengers caught in the chaos told Sky News that they had been told ‘to get taxis’ with others stranded at stations for more than 90 minutes.

A heavily pregnant woman said she had to pay an ‘extortionate amount of money for an Uber’ so she could get to her midwife appointment on time.

Greater Manchester’s Bee Network, the city’s integrated transport system, revealed the outage took place at Manchester Rail Operating Centre.

A spokesperson said: ‘Delays and cancellations are expected on all operator routes across Greater Manchester until the end of today (Thursday 6th August). Rail operators have issued a do not travel notice with travel advice and the latest information on the National Rail website.

‘Ticket acceptance is in place on all Bee Network buses and Metrolink services across Greater Manchester for rail passengers affected. More information can be found on the TfGM website.’

Transport for Wales said: ‘Due to a fault with the signalling system between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester, services will be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled in both directions.

‘Disruption to services is expected until 17:30.’

Northern posted on X: ‘Due to a major power failure all lines in the North West are being heavily disrupted.

‘Services will be cancelled or delayed.’

TransPennine Express, meanwhile, posted on X: ‘Due to a power failure within Network Rail in the Greater Manchester/North West area.

‘All trains will be stopped due to a failure of the communication systems on the network. Trains are unable to run safely.

‘We are currently looking into how this disruption may impact your journey, and we will update you on any alternative travel options as soon as possible.

2026 Census: Understanding the Risk of Undercounted Australians

0

As evening sets in at Sydney’s Waterloo Green park, a bustling crowd converges, eager for free haircuts, eye exams, and dental check-ups.

The barbeque sizzles with sausages, drawing attendees to the Homelessness Week event affectionately known as Refresh, Recharge & Shine, a visitor tells SBS News, calling it “fantastic”.

“We need more initiatives like this for those in need,” Marie mentioned as she helped coordinate the event.

On August 3, NSW’s housing and homelessness minister, Rose Jackson, shared with SBS News her thoughts that while homelessness may be an uncomfortable topic, it is crucial to bring it to the forefront of national discussions.

“Understanding the demographics, location, age, and gender of those experiencing homelessness is essential data for the government,” she emphasized.

Jackson said data collected during the Census of Population and Housing on 11 August will be “crucial” for allocating resources and services to people experiencing homelessness.

But collecting this information can present logistical challenges.

“I think the ABS [Australian Bureau of Statistics] has done a really good job lifting its level of engagement. I think maybe in the past it wasn’t something that was recognised as a priority,” Jackson said.

“The Census was built around [dropping] a form into people’s letterbox — and for people that don’t have letterboxes, where do you start?”

How to complete the Census if you’re experiencing housing insecurity

Sharon Callister, CEO of Mission Australia, has been working alongside Census field officers to help people experiencing housing insecurity complete the Census.

“There are rough sleepers in Sydney, and many of them are in known rough sleeping spots. Our support services staff go out there. There are also field offices coming from the Census office,” she told SBS News.

She said people in temporary dwellings like boarding houses or hostels can access paper Census forms from accommodation staff.

A crowd of people queue to collect food from vans at a Homelessness Week event in Sydney.

Callister said it can be difficult to capture “hidden homeless” populations. That includes people sleeping in a car or tent, or couch surfing with friends, family or acquaintances without a secure lease.

“We’re at a critical point in Australia. The last Census, there were [more than] 122,000 people homeless. We know from our services today that that number is going to be higher this year.”

If someone is experiencing homelessness, the ABS advises people to write “NONE” in response to the question about where they usually live. Online, this question can be answered by selecting the “Elsewhere in Australia” option, then manually entering “NONE” in the suburb and locality boxes.

If a housing or homelessness service has organised and paid for a person to stay in temporary accommodation, they should write “NONE-CRISIS” for this question.

ABS spokesperson Hasan Hawatmeh told SBS Arabic that the ABS has a dedicated homelessness strategy team to support Census engagement.

“We do have a Homelessness Enumeration Week, so field staff will be deployed to do the actual enumeration. They do have access to a short form, which is a one-page [Census form] just to make sure we don’t add any other complexities to the homeless population.”

Yolanda Saiz, CEO of the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, said people experiencing housing insecurity can visit the organisation’s services for assistance in completing the Census.

“We can help them with computers, with access, with reading and writing if they need that help as well. So, we can facilitate their voice being captured in the Census.”

The ABS is also offering in-person support at pop-up hubs and events across Australia.

Challenges in counting homelessness

In 2021, the ABS estimated that more than 122,000 people in Australia experienced homelessness at the time of the Census.

Males accounted for 55.9 per cent of this cohort, while females accounted for 44.1 per cent. Around 23 per cent of all people experiencing homelessness were aged between 12 and 24 years.

The ABS acknowledged this data may have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions.

A man wears a navy shirt and fluorescent yellow vest. He has a white lanyard and card around his neck.

Heidi Tucker is the CEO of Anchor, which supports people experiencing, or are at risk of homelessness. She said the Census provides “precious evidence”, but believes it can be challenging to capture accurate data on homelessness, particularly in vast urban areas or in regional and rural Australia.

For regions like the Yarra Ranges in Victoria, this means locating people across more than 2,400 square kilometres, much of which is bushland.

“Not everyone who is experiencing homelessness is known to a service. We’re worried that there will be people who are missed.

“We know that young people in particular can be couch surfing or living in scenarios associated with homelessness.”

Monsoon Shifts Reveal Hidden Secrets in Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson Neighborhood Search

0

TUCSON, Ariz. — In a recent development, a neighbor of Nancy Guthrie reported seeing FBI agents searching the brush behind the home of the missing 84-year-old. This sighting comes just as the case is about to hit its six-month anniversary without resolution.

Despite statements from a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department denying any recent investigative activities by the task force in the area, the neighbor insists on recognizing agents from previous law enforcement operations linked to this case. As of now, the FBI has not provided any comments regarding their reported presence.

Residing merely a few houses away, the neighbor observed the officials methodically searching through the rugged desert terrain.

Authorities believe that Nancy Guthrie, mother of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie, was forcibly taken from her home during the early morning hours of February 1.

“There’s a couple of different reasons that go through my mind first is going to be they got some leads, they got some new tips that are viable, and they’re out there looking for something specific or in an area specific to that, because I’m certain that they’ve searched those areas already,” he told News Media.

California Man Opens Up About Spark That Ignited Devastating Gann Fire

0

A man taken into custody for allegedly igniting the colossal Gann Fire in Calaveras County claims that his intentions were noble. He reportedly was seeking to earn some cash for a special birthday dinner for his wife when the incident spiraled out of control.

Herbert Wayne Smith, a 65-year-old resident of Spring Valleys, recounted using a saw to cut through metal scraps. His plan was to sell these scraps to fund the birthday celebration planned for Monday. Unfortunately, this endeavor inadvertently sparked a wildfire that ravaged more than 10,000 acres.

Lamenting over the unintended consequences, Smith shared his distress in an interview with KCRA. “This is going to destroy my life, one way or another,” he confessed, acknowledging the gravity of his actions.

“I’m so sorry for everything that’s happened. That was never my intent. I was just out there trying to get some money together, and it turned into this,” Smith explained, his remorse evident.

Officials have charged Smith with negligent operation of the equipment. He failed to clear the surrounding flammable vegetation and did not have appropriate firefighting tools at the ready, a critical oversight given the dry conditions of the area.

“The investigation revealed Smith was operating equipment capable of producing sparks in vegetation without complying with the fire prevention requirements of California Public Resources Code,” Cal Fire said in a statement following Smith’s arrest.

As of Wednesday afternoon, criminal charges against Smith had not yet been filed in Calaveras Superior Court. Cal Fire submitted its investigation to the Calaveras District Attorney’s Office for review and potential prosecution.

The fire led to both evacuation orders and warnings in the area, with homes and property threatened by the growing blaze. The aggressive fire surged over days as triple-digit temperatures and critically dry fuels hampered firefighting efforts across the parched landscape.

While grueling conditions persist, Cal Fire reported a steady rise in containment, though officials warn that crews remain on high alert with the heatwave slated to last through the weekend.

Expert Insights on Behavioral Concerns in Lindsay Clancy’s Daughter Unveiled by Educator

Breaking:Cora Clancy’s teachers tell court about little girl’s concerning behavior one day before murders

Susan Bertolo was a dedicated educator at the Learning Sprouts preschool, where both Cora and Dawson were enrolled. Her commitment to nurturing young minds was evident in every interaction.

In her role, Susan lovingly managed the ‘Sunflower’ room, welcoming Cora three mornings each week. It was an environment brimming with warmth and creativity, fostering early childhood development.

Cora was often accompanied to school by her parents, Lindsay and Patrick Clancy. While she saw Patrick more frequently during drop-offs, Susan shared this routine with another preschool teacher, creating a caring transition for each child.

Speaking with emotion, Bertolo described Cora as an ‘amazing’ and ‘wonderful’ preschooler who was more than ready to embark on her kindergarten journey. Cora’s brilliance and readiness left a lasting impression.

Recalling the heartwarming moments spent with Cora, her teacher became visibly moved, cherishing the memories of the last day they spent together, filled with learning and joy.

On the morning of January 23, 2023, Cora was dropped off at preschool.

That day, she needed to use the bathroom more than normal, Bertolo said. She noted that she was concerned because this was out of the ordinary for the child, and told another teacher.

When she told Clancy at pickup, she said she had a doctor’s appointment for Cora the next day.

The five-year-old was complaining that her tummy hurt and didn’t want to get up from her nap, her second teacher of the day, Stephanie Williams, told the court.

Williams told Clancy this when she picked her daughter up that afternoon.

Instead of Cora getting up and meeting her mom at the door to the classroom – as the children normally do – Clancy had to walk into the room and gently coax the girl to leave.

Clancy scooped up the little girl from her cot, saying to her: ‘Oh baby, come on let’s go get Dawson and we’ll go home.’

When asked if she noticed anything different about Clancy that day – or any day – she said: She was just a very loving mother who cared very much for her children.’

In the affluent suburbs just outside Boston, Massachusetts, a masked prowler has been spotted on surveillance footage, causing concern among residents.

Captured by security cameras, the individual dressed in a bicycle helmet was seen wandering the grounds of a Weston home between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 2. Now, the Weston Police Department is calling on the community to assist in getting to the bottom of this “suspicious incident.”

Authorities have confirmed that the person did not enter the residence, but their presence on private property during the late hours raises alarms.

“Considering the situation, we suspect the individual’s intentions were likely not lawful,” the police stated.

Known for its ultra-premium real estate market and proximity to Boston, Weston, Massachusetts, stands as one of the most exclusive and expensive towns in the state. Police say the figure appeared to come from a nearby trail and approached the Highland Street house with a flashlight.

In one of the images shared by the department, the person appears to be shining a flashlight at the home’s three-car garage.

In another instance, investigators say it looks like the suspicious man is carrying a hunting chair he picked up from the house to the woods. Another image showed him wearing a bicycle helmet.

Weston Police Chief Denis Linehan called the scene deeply concerning, telling CBS Boston, “It’s creepy, there is no doubt about it.”

“Anytime you have someone on somebody else’s property masked, I don’t care what time of day it is, that is concerning, and then you add the factor that it is three in the morning, and he was on that property for an extended period of time, we’re overly concerned.”

Minnie Driver recently experienced a harrowing car accident while traveling in France, an incident she described as “really bad.”

On Thursday, the “Emily in Paris” actress took to Instagram to share the unsettling news with her followers. Wearing a neck brace, she expressed her gratitude for surviving the ordeal, saying she is “grateful to be alive.”

At 56, Driver recounted the frightening crash, recounting the details of how it unfolded. “I got into a really bad car accident a few days ago with my friend Ben,” she explained. “We somehow managed to walk away from it. Well, we didn’t exactly walk — we crawled out. But the important part is, we survived.”

Driver was clear in stating that the T-bone accident, which occurred on an “old country road,” was not a result of her actions.

According to Driver, “A car failed to stop at an intersection and was speeding, leading us to T-bone it,” she remarked. “Thankfully, I’m okay, though I have a sprained neck.”

“I’m really in a sort of shock and cry all the time but I’m gonna heal,” she continued. “The reason that I’m not dead honestly is the car that we were driving.”

She gave an emotional shoutout to the “little tiny Kia” with its 360-degree airbags, saying, “The fact that the entire car didn’t just crush us is down to the design of that car which is frankly astonishing.”

Calling herself “Minnie Driver, pun intended,” the Emmy nominee gushed, “I need to celebrate the car that saved us because we’ve got families and people who love us. … So, Kia, you are a baller car company. You’re amazing. And thanks very much.”

In her caption, Driver raved over “the van driver who stopped and helped … before ambulances arrived.”

She also made “special mention of the car who slowed down took in the scene and drove off without stopping.”

The “Borderline” star concluded, “I guess this is the Dao of the world, the light and the dark. My brain keeps replaying the crash which is very hard but seems to be a necessary part of processing. Weeping too, feels good and helpful.”

Driver’s loved ones shared their support in the comments section, wishing her a “speedy recovery.”

The “Speechless” alum has been documenting her Paris trip on social media all summer long.

“Eat a crêpe, go for a walk,” she captioned an Instagram video of herself eating a pastry full of “lemon and sugar, as God intended.”

She wrote, “People shouldn’t be scared of carbs. They’re lovely. … Life is horribly, horribly short.”
