Richard Bell, a choir instructor at Ritenour, has been accused by the St. Louis County Grand Jury of having sexual contact with a student. The jury was informed by the St. Ann Police Department that on April 22 at Ritenour High School, Richard Bell, 60, touched a 15-year-old choir student. A different pupil raised their voice after noticing the improper contact.

Wesley Bell, the prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County, remarked that he congratulates this young kid and witness for having the bravery to stand up. No one should put up with a teacher touching a pupil in an improper way. He also added that the children should be able to feel comfortable in schools, of all places.

Officials stated that identical accusations were made against Bell in 2008, according to his personnel file at the school. Then he agreed to not touch students and maintain professional connections with them by signing a document.

Moreover, as a Class E felony, sexual contact with a pupil carries a potential sentence of up to four years in prison, $10,000 in fines, or a day to one year in jail. Bell’s bond was set by the court at $50,000.

Furthermore, another Ritenour high school teacher, Jared Lehnhoff-Bell, was charged with statutory rape, second-degree statutory sodomy, and one count of having sex with a pupil back in 2014 after engaging in sex with a student at his house.

Kanhaiya Lal was a tailor from Udaipur who was murdered inside his shop.

The reason behind the Udaipur murder case was over a social media critique where Kanhaiya Lal was killed for his online opinion.

It all started after the tailor supported Nupur Sharma and her provocative comments on his social media. Seeing that support, two unknown people, who are now identified, walked to his shop, blending like customers going to purchase cloth.

In the crowded place, the two of them got inside the place and asked about making cloth. Eventually, Kanhaiya started taking measurements of one of them and it was at this point that the other person took out the knife and stabbed the tailer multiple times.

He also filmed the whole incident which is now gradually being removed from the internet after the police stepped in to stop its spread due to its gruesome nature.

Guessing from his appearance, Kanhaiya Lal’s age was around 30- 40 years old.

His actual age and other details relating to his birthday and early age are not well portrayed on the internet as of now. The Texas Department of Public Safety has revealed that the 16-year-old girl, Sylvia Nicole Smith whose remains were discovered in a rural area of Texas nearly ten years ago has been identified.

Nobody made the connection between her disappearance and the finding of her remains in August 2013 when workers examining an oil well site in Midland County came upon them.

Although the unidentified person was probably a black girl between the ages of 14 and 21 slain in a homicide, forensic examination of the remains revealed, that no DNA match was established until the victim’s body was sent for advanced analysis in 2020.

The Texas agency said in a statement that “a genetic genealogist who evaluated the DNA assisted in a match that led to a distant relative.” It said that investigators eventually linked Smith to her mother, who revealed that she had reported her daughter as a runaway in February 2000, and have started a homicide inquiry into Smith’s passing.

Sylvia Nicole Smith’s obituary must be also bizarre. Her remains found in 2013 were unidentified. The Combined DNA Index System was used to store the DNA results (CODIS). The Midland County District Attorney’s Office and the Rangers searched for more ways to identify the remains in 2020 after several years of no findings.

To determine the victim’s appearance, they were transported to Parabon Nanolabs for advanced DNA analysis after first going to DNA Labs International. The victim was recognized as being of African American heritage, and the results also indicated the victim’s eye, hair, and skin tone.

A match that led to a distant relative was made possible by a genetic genealogist who analyzed the DNA. After interviewing many, the ranger found the lead from Sylvia’s mother, who talked about her missing.

Sylvia Nicole Smith’s family must have been devasted but the news might have been rather of some comfort than to remain unaware of her whereabouts. On February 14, 2000, her mother last saw her 16-year-old child. On February 18, 2000, Smith’s mother reported Smith as a runaway to the Midland Police Department.

The remains of Smith were discovered on August 1, 2013, and Texas Rangers obtained DNA samples from her family for testing. On June 9, 2022, the University of North Texas confirmed that the remains were those of Sylvia Nicole Smith.

Her death is currently the subject of a homicide investigation by the Rangers, who are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts or death to come forward.

The name of Tony Ornato was heard several times during Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony on Tuesday.
