What our Post expert thinks about Bosnia vs. Switzerland

Switzerland completely controlled their opener against Qatar, firing 26 shots and 10 on target, yet still dropped points after a dramatic 93rd-minute own goal by Miro Muheim.

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s defensive resilience was on full display against Canada, with Nikola Katić delivering a player-of-the-match performance that helped stunt one of the tournament hosts.

United States and Iran Reach Preliminary Agreement to Conclude Conflict, Alleviate Sanctions, and Reopen Strait Amid Ongoing Nuclear Negotiations

0

WASHINGTON — In a significant diplomatic move, President Donald Trump has signed a pivotal agreement with Iran aimed at reducing tensions and addressing nuclear concerns. The agreement, finalized on Wednesday, requires Tehran to dilute its highly enriched uranium stockpile. In exchange, the U.S. will lift certain sanctions, allowing Iran to freely sell its oil, a substantial concession from Washington. This move was confirmed by both nations involved.

The preliminary deal, designed to bring an end to ongoing hostilities, takes effect immediately following the signatures from both countries’ leaders. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who played a key role in brokering the agreement, announced the news via social media.

Under the terms of the agreement, there is a commitment to permanently cease hostilities, and a 60-day window has been established for further negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions. However, President Trump has indicated that military actions could resume if necessary. The agreement is seen as providing several immediate advantages to Iran without demanding significant concessions in return.

Details of the agreement have been surrounded by secrecy and confusion. U.S. officials were initially reluctant to reveal the specifics, even after confirming that the agreement had been digitally signed by President Trump and Vice President JD Vance over the weekend. President Trump later signed a physical copy during a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the historic Versailles Palace, renowned for hosting numerous significant diplomatic agreements.

Originally, the White House had scheduled an official signing ceremony in Switzerland for Friday. However, due to conflicting reports from the U.S., Iran, and Pakistan, the event’s status remains unclear.

“It’s signed,” Trump said as he left the dinner at Versailles, which followed his trip to the Group of Seven summit in France.

In a video posted online by a White House aide, Trump was seen seated at a table next to Macron signing a paper copy of the agreement. Trump then handed the document and pen to Secretary of State Marco Rubio as people in the room applauded.

“This was not easy,” Trump said right before he signed it, according to a video posted to social media by Macron.

In Tehran, a stone-faced President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the deal on behalf of Iran, according to the state-run IRNA news agency, which posted an image of him holding up the deal with his signature and Trump’s.

Text of the agreement still has not been formally released by the Americans. U.S. officials dictated draft language to journalists after days of secrecy, speaking on condition of anonymity. Iranian state media has released text that largely tracked what the U.S. put out.

The deal will stop the fighting and start more negotiations

Much of the agreement would restore the status quo before the war, including ending hostilities, restarting talks between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the crucial passage for the world’s oil and natural gas whose closure created a historic energy crisis.

The agreement opens the strait without tolls for two months, but does not preclude fees in the future, according to the drafts from both countries.

In return, the U.S. will move to waive, but not eliminate, some wide-ranging sanctions against Iran.

The deal also affirms a commitment to Lebanon’s territorial integrity in the face of Israel’s invasion against the Hezbollah militant group. That is one of the most delicate parts of the agreement because Israel has maintained it will continue to defend itself and to occupy vast swaths of Lebanon. Iran has said Israel must withdraw under the deal, a condition Israel has already rejected.

The U.S. and Israel went to war Feb. 28 in part to prevent Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon. Trump has cited various goals for the war, including at times vowing it would end Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and its support for Hezbollah and other proxy groups. He also suggested it could lead to toppling the Iranian government.

The interim deal falls short of all those goals, but Trump hailed it as “very strong.”

He also opened the door to abandoning it: “It’s a memorandum of understanding, and if I don’t like it, we’ll go back to shooting at them, dropping bombs.”

The U.S. agreement to immediately allow Iran to sell its oil freely and the offer to eventually lift all sanctions are major concessions that go beyond the terms of Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers. Trump withdrew America from that Obama-era pact in his first term, declaring it the “worst deal ever.”

Iran maintains its nuclear program is peaceful, though it is the only country to enrich uranium to 60% purity without a weapons program, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. The interim deal calls for the IAEA to monitor the “downblending” of that uranium in Iran, without elaborating.

The accord likely will draw intense opposition in Washington, and it appears to be a major setback for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has come under criticism at home from the media, his opponents and even some allies as details emerge.

Under the Obama-era nuclear agreement with Iran that Trump pulled out of, Iran also agreed to restrictions on its nuclear program and promised never to build an atomic weapon in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.

Major concessions have been offered to Iran

Some concessions to Iran – including the full lifting of sanctions and the release of frozen assets – would happen gradually and be linked to progress in the nuclear talks, according to Pakistani officials. They outlined some of the deal’s major points on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

But in the meantime, the U.S. will issue waivers to sanctions that allow Iran to sell oil freely.

The Islamic Republic’s oil export revenues in 2024 were more than $46 billion. Its main buyer of oil, China, is believed to have bought at below-market prices because of its willingness to ignore the sanctions.

Granting oil waivers at the start of the 60-day talks strips the U.S. of a major point of leverage. Only at the conclusion of the overall deal in 2015 were sanctions on Iran’s oil lifted.

The interim deal also opens the door to ending all sanctions Iran faces from the U.S. and at the U.N. – including those over Tehran’s weapons programs and human rights abuses – though it says the schedule for that will be worked out later. Still, that far surpasses the 2015 deal, which only lifted some sanctions in exchange for Iran drastically reducing its enrichment and stockpile of uranium.

The accord would also provide Iran with at least $300 billion to rebuild – an extraordinary figure and another major benefit for Iran. The money also appears dependent on the progress of further negotiations.

Vance has said Gulf Arab nations would invest that amount. But Gulf countries would likely be reluctant to help Iran after Iranian attacks in the war destroyed oil facilities and other sites in their territory.

Trump reiterated Wednesday that the U.S. would not contribute and said it was up to other countries if they wanted to invest.

The pact would provide relief to the global economy

The initial deal provides a major win for the global economy – the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which a fifth of all traded oil and natural gas once passed before the war began. Since then, Iranian attacks on shipping and the threat to vessels effectively shut the strait.

The strait’s closure drove up energy prices around the world and made many basics, including food, more expensive. Iran let through some vessels that paid tolls, something never done before in the strait, which has long been considered an international waterway. The U.S. later provided military support to get other tankers out, but traffic was nowhere near levels before the war.

The deal also says the U.S. will lift a blockade imposed on Iranian ports and that the strait will return to its prewar traffic levels in 30 days, while acknowledging Iranian mines may need to be destroyed.

Emmerdale’s Michael Parr Embraces Major Lifestyle Transformation as He Prepares for Fatherhood

Michael Parr is undergoing a significant lifestyle transformation as he prepares to become a father for the first time.

The actor, celebrated for his role as Ross Barton on the popular ITV series “Emmerdale,” announced in May that he and his partner, Isabelle Du Plessis, are expecting their first child together.

As he looks forward to taking on this new chapter, Michael has confessed that settling down was not always part of his plan.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 38-year-old shared, “When I started the job at 26, my focus was more on nightlife and enjoying pints after work.”

“Now, I’m transitioning into dad mode, preferring a good cup of tea and early nights,” he added.

Revealing his reaction to the pregnancy news, he added: ‘Once Izzy told me, my whole outlook on life changed, It’s made me realise what’s actually important to me.’

Back in May, Mike’s girlfriend took to Instagram to confirm they are set to become parents in a sweet post.

She shared a series of heartwarming photographs of her and Mike – who is best known for playing Ross Barton – cuddling up to one another.

Isabelle showed off her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging red floral gown, which she styled with white sandals.

Mike cut a smart figure in a white shirt and black trousers as he posed with his hand placed on Isabelle’s stomach.

The couple flashed huge smiles as they appeared thrilled to be sharing the news that they are growing their family.

They did not confirm the due date, simply teasing that their baby is due ‘soon’, nor have they yet announced their first child’s gender.

In a caption, Isabelle simply gushed: ‘In our Mum & Dad Era.’

Mike revealed in October that he was in a new relationship but kept the identity of his girlfriend a secret.

He told The Mirror at the time: ‘I’m in a very happy relationship. She’s amazing and has been very supportive.’

He previously dated his co-star Isabelle Hodgins – who plays Victoria Sugden on the soap – but the pair parted ways back in 2019.

Mike played the role of villain Ross Barton on Emmerdale from 2013 until 2018, and he has recently reprised his role.

After his debut on the show, he quickly became a fan favourite for his portrayal of the complex-but-charismatic Ross.

The actor said he was ‘bored’ just two months after his departure in 2018 due to being out of work, and reappeared on screen at the end of 2024.

Ross was known for his tumultuous relationships with Donna Windsor and Debbie Dingle, and his departure followed a horrific acid attack which left him battling depression.

Of his return, Michael said: ‘I’m over the moon to be returning to Emmerdale. Ross is a character I’m extremely fond of and I’m excited to explore what he’s been up to over the past five years.

‘After seeing the scripts, I can’t wait for the audience to see what’s in store. One thing I can say is Ross’s return will no doubt create fireworks.’

Jelly Roll’s Shocking Hospital Visit: The Truth Unveiled Amid Bunnie Xo Divorce Rumors

Just days before headlines emerged about his divorce from Bunnie Xo, Jelly Roll found himself in the hospital due to a sinus infection.

The musician shared details of his health ordeal on a June 11 TikTok, revealing that tour companion Post Malone had sent him a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of support.

“I ended up in the hospital last night in Charlotte, North Carolina,” Jelly Roll recounted. “Kudos to the entire hospital staff. They got me back on my feet for the concert.”

At 41, Jelly Roll described how the sinus infection left him with a “puffy face,” but he is now recovering after receiving “a bunch of steroids” from the medical team.

Unfortunately, the illness forced him to miss part of his performance during the June 9th stop on Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour.

“It’s the first night as long as I’ve been touring with Post that I didn’t get to come out and sing ‘Losers,’” Jelly Roll shared. “I just barely got through my show.”

Jelly Roll showed off the flowers from Malone that came with a note that read, “Get well soon, Mofo. Love Ya.”

“I love you Post,” Jelly Roll said. “When I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the nicest human in the world. I’m not making that up.”

Jelly Roll also called Malone “the most normal dude in the world,” adding at the end of his video, “I love you, Posty.”

The “Wild Ones” singer’s next show on his solo “The Little ASS Shed Tour” is tonight in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Page Six confirmed earlier this week that Jelly Roll — whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord — filed for divorce from Bunnie, 46, on May 18 after almost a decade of marriage.

The Grammy Award winner listed the duo’s date of separation as May 9, according to the court documents.

As for the reason they called it quits, he cited “irreconcilable differences.”

A source told Page Six the couple were dealing with “growing tension” behind the scenes due to their differing lifestyles — namely Jelly Roll’s religious beliefs clashing with Bunnie’s racy past.

“A lot of people want to point to one thing, but it was really a combination of issues that had been building for years,” an insider claimed.

In addition, Jelly Roll’s major life changes, including his booming career and dramatic weight loss, reportedly created more strain for the pair.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa Andrea Carter, secretly tied the knot at a Las Vegas courthouse in August 2016.

Two years later, Jelly Roll had an affair, but they moved past the cheating scandal and renewed their vows in 2023.

During their marriage, Bunnie Xo served as a stepmom to Jelly Roll’s two kids, daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9, from previous relationships.

Watch Teresa Giudice Reveal Her Neck Transformation with Thread Lift Procedure

Teresa Giudice is embracing transparency with her fans.

The 54-year-old star of Real Housewives of New Jersey recently treated herself to a “little refresh” for her neck, showcasing the cosmetic enhancement process in a video posted on Instagram this past Tuesday, June 16.

In the shared footage, expert Natia Rufolo of Injx performed the procedure by applying dissolvable threads to Giudice’s neck. This technique is designed to boost collagen production, delivering a smoother, more youthful look. As the threads were inserted, Rufolo skillfully lifted Giudice’s neck by gently pulling the threads upward.

Rufolo explained she strategically placed several threads “here and there,” and added with enthusiasm, “Look at her! She looks perfect!”

Giudice expressed her satisfaction, exclaiming, “Feels good!” as she admired the results. Praising Rufolo’s work, she added, “She did amazing. I was nervous, but she was great. No more bands!”

“Honored to have the beautiful @teresagiudice in my chair✨,” Rufolo captioned the post. “A personalized approach to aesthetic medicine is all about enhancing natural beauty while preserving what makes you uniquely you. Thank you for trusting me with your aesthetic journey🤍.”

Rufolo also shared a before-and-after of Giudice’s neck and side profile in a side-by-side pic.

“Our Signature PDO Thread Lift is performed in less than 45 minutes with no surgery and no down time,” Rufolo wrote, explaining the work.

Giudice’s fans were quick to compliment her in the comments section.

“That is incredible results 😍😍,” one wrote, while another added, “WOW 🤩.” A third fan commented, “SO good!!! 🙌🔥😍.”

This isn’t the first time Giudice has been candid about enhancing her appearance. In 2020, she got her breast augmentation “redone.”

“I believe it’s important to always stand strong and feel like your best, most confident self,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “10 years after my first breast augmentation, I decided to have my breasts redone… could not be happier with the results. I was very nervous to re-do my breasts, but I felt it was necessary for me to feel like my best self.”

Princess Anne Dazzles in Timeless 25-Year-Old Pink Skirt Suit at Royal Ascot 2023

0

Princess Anne made a striking appearance at Royal Ascot yesterday, demonstrating her fondness for vintage fashion by donning a cherished pink outfit once more for the event’s second day.

The 75-year-old Princess Royal exuded effortless elegance in a pale pink skirt suit, complemented by a matching hat adorned with three delicate flowers. This ensemble was last seen at Royal Ascot a quarter of a century ago, highlighting Anne’s enduring style.

Completing her look, Anne selected pearl earrings and her treasured gold horse brooch, which is valued at an impressive £15,000. A pair of simple navy gloves added a cohesive touch to her ensemble.

Pinned to her jacket were several Ascot pins, a testament to Anne’s deep-rooted affection for equestrian sports and the significant role these events have played throughout her life.

This choice to breathe new life into a piece from her royal wardrobe is characteristic of Princess Anne, who is renowned for her habit of revisiting beloved fashion pieces, even decades later.

Speaking once about her approach to fashion, Anne remarked: ‘A good suit goes on forever. If it is properly made and has a classic look, you can wear it ad infinitum. The economy was bred into me.’

Anne was one of several members of the Royal Family who stepped out for the prestigious sporting event in Berkshire yesterday which is one of the highlights of the royal social calendar.

Firmly anchored as a jewel of the British summer season, Ascot brings together regal ceremony, daring fashion and world-class racing.

Ascot’s connection to the Crown dates back to 1711. Queen Anne was out riding near Windsor when she stopped to inspect a stretch of open land, which she remarked was ‘ideal for horses to gallop at full stretch’.

The Ascot Racecourse was born that year and the monarchy has remained at its core ever since. The late Queen Elizabeth II, a lifelong equestrian, was its most dedicated patron, attending nearly every year of her reign.

Royal Ascot is about far more than just racing. There’s a sense of theatre at every turn – from the regimental march of the Band of the Coldstream Guards to the curated culinary offerings across the enclosures.

For the first day of Royal Ascot, Anne was joined by her new daughter-in-law, Harriet Sperling, for the traditional carriage procession – with all eyes on the former NHS nurse as she made her official debut as a member of the Firm following her ‘intimate’ Cotswolds wedding to Peter Phillips less than two weeks ago.

The Princess Royal, dressed in a striking striped dress with a wide-brimmed green hat, chatted to Ms Sperling as the carriage made its way into the main paddock.

Also joining the just-married couple in the royal procession were the Duke and Duchess of Wellington, seated beside the King and Queen, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester who waved from the third coach.

Once the racing began, Ms Sperling and her new husband appeared animated at the results below, following the horses closely as they charged for the line.

Ms Sperling couldn’t hide her emotion as she watched the runners and riders below.

The King and Queen also couldn’t hide their emotions as they cheered on their favoured horses, with Charles brandishing a racing guide in the direction of the course.

Queen Camilla, wearing a pale blue ensemble with statement millinery in the same shade, had earlier offered a cheery wave to those watching in the stands as the royals made their grand entrance.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales sported a bright yellow £1,095 outfit from Roksanda, that she debuted back in 2022 for an official visit to Jamaica.

She paired it with a matching wide-brimmed Pomona hat by Jane Taylor Millinery, while Prince William pinned yellow flowers to his lapel to complement his wife’s ensemble.

Her outfit was completed with nude Gianvito Rossi heels, an Anya Hindmarch clutch, Queen Elizabeth’s diamond earrings and Princess Diana’s pearl necklace, worn as a bracelet.

With a long history of equestrian success, Royal Ascot is no doubt a long-awaited event in Anne’s calendar each year.

The Princess Royal became the first member of the Royal Family to compete in the Olympic Games when she lined up in the Equestrian Eventing for Team GB in 1976.

However, the royal does not have any recollection of the race, having suffered a serious fall from her horse during the cross-country event while the late Queen Elizabeth II watched on anxiously.

Her daughter, Zara Phillips, went on to win a silver medal in the same event at the London 2012 Olympics.

While Anne did not take home a medal at the 1976 Olympic Games, instead coming in at 24th place, the Princess Royal did obtain an individual gold medal at the 1971 European Eventing Championships, alongside a silver in both the individual and team disciplines in 1975.

Royal Ascot, the jewel in the crown of the UK racing calendar, started yesterday with the Queen Anne Stakes and the King Charles III Stakes, and will run until Saturday.

The prestigious festival is just as famous for its fashion as it is for its horseracing – and this year, statement hats were the focal point of revellers’ eye-popping looks as the annual race meeting got underway.

Dressed to impress, guests wore a variety of show-stopping headpieces as they descended on Ascot for a day of equestrian fun.

The festival was founded by Queen Anne in 1711 after she declared Ascot ideal for ‘horses fit for kings’ and has today become a major social event as well as a sporting attraction.

Launched under the banner of America250’s “America Gives” campaign, this nationwide effort is supported by the Church’s JustServe volunteer platform. It represents one of the most significant service projects related to the upcoming celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary, set to occur in 2026.

This month, the initiative reached a significant milestone by completing food deliveries in all 50 states, including the distant regions of Alaska and Hawaii. In Boston, a city steeped in American history, Catholic Charities Boston received a fully loaded semi-truck on Wednesday. This vehicle carried an impressive 37,000 pounds of food, which will be distributed to families and various community organizations throughout Greater Boston.

As the United States gears up to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026, project organizers aim to transform this historic milestone into a chance for national service and unity.

Notably, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ JustServe platform has been instrumental in organizing one of the largest service endeavors tied to the semiquincentennial celebrations, underscoring the power of community engagement and volunteerism.

“America’s 250th celebration is a unifying moment for our country, and the Church’s efforts are a beautiful example of the American spirit — neighbor caring for neighbor in service and generosity,” America250 Chair Rosie Rios said. “We are immensely grateful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ collaboration and its continued support for this historic celebration.”

America250 Commissioner Cathy Gillespie pointed to the role faith-based groups play in volunteer service across the country.

“More than 30% of all volunteer hours in the United States are generated by faith-based organizations,” Gillespie said. “Service can unite us. It invites people from every background to work side by side, regardless of political or religious views.”

Church leaders echoed that message, describing the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday as an opportunity to bring Americans together through community service and gratitude.

“As we mark this historic milestone, we hope to foster a spirit of unity, peacemaking, and goodwill,” said Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “The anniversary is an opportunity for all to come together, serve together, and express gratitude for the freedoms that have allowed all faiths — including ours — to flourish.”

Blaine Maxfield, managing director of the Church’s Welfare and Self-Reliance Services department, said the project reflects the Church’s longstanding commitment to helping individuals and families in need.

“Following the example of Jesus Christ, we strive to love our neighbor,” Maxfield said. “Each of us can have an impact in our own communities through service.”

Organizers hope the food donation campaign will inspire Americans to participate in volunteer efforts leading up to the nation’s 250th anniversary, using service to celebrate the country’s history while meeting needs in their own communities.

Unveiling the Chilling Confession: Taylor Parker’s Hospital Interrogation After the Tragic Murder of Reagan Simmons Hancock

0

Mere hours after the tragic event, Taylor Parker found herself in a hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma, appearing bewildered and in shock. She had just committed the brutal murder of Reagan Simmons Hancock and forcibly removed Hancock’s unborn child.

Parker—who was brought to the hospital via ambulance after claiming she had given birth to the baby herself—continued to insist that she was the child’s mother, even after a doctor confirmed that couldn’t possibly be true, according to body cam footage captured Oct. 9, 2020.

Despite her initial composure, Parker, then 26, eventually broke under the pressure of law enforcement interrogation. Her story shifted multiple times, but she admitted to a violent altercation with Hancock, attempting to deflect responsibility onto the deceased mother in her inconsistent narrative.

Amid tears and confusion, Parker was recorded saying, “I don’t know what happened,” and expressing distress with exclamations like, “Oh God, no. Oh s–t.”

Here’s a closer look at Parker’s interrogation while she lay in the hospital bed, along with her initial statements to officers regarding the day of Hancock’s death:

Body camera footage from a female officer of the Idabel Police Department began rolling outside Parker’s hospital room, capturing a nurse’s grave remark: “this is a big deal.”

The body camera footage, captured by an unidentified female officer with Idabel Police, began outside Parker’s hospital room as one nurse uttered, “this is a big deal.”

The officer then walked outside to talk with another law enforcement official and explained why authorities believed Parker was lying about giving birth.

“Ok, she’s in there, she refuses to have a vaginal check to make sure she’s not hemorrhaging,” the female officer told him. “They’ve done an ultrasound and HCG and it doesn’t show that she’s been pregnant.”

HCG—often dubbed the “pregnancy hormone”— is a hormone produced by the placenta that begins shortly after a fertilized egg implants in the uterus and continues to produce hormones for weeks after a woman gives birth.

OSBI Agent Challenges Taylor Parker’s Account at Hospital

Not long after doctors confirmed that Parker had no signs of the hormone in her body, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent Chad Dansby arrived to confront the mom of two.

“So what happened this morning?” Dansby asked. “Did you just go into labor on the side of the road?”

Parker explained that she had been planning to deliver a load of hogs with her fiancé Wade Griffin, but opted to stay home after she “wasn’t feeling good” and started to have contractions, before going into labor.

After the officers explained that she could be at risk of hemorrhaging, Parker eventually agreed to let a doctor conduct a vaginal examination—but before he arrived, Dansby began to challenge her account of the events that day.

“Here’s the deal. I’m just going to be upfront with you,” he told her, according to the footage.  “I’ve been talking to the DA down in Bowie County and they’ve been working on a case down there and we know that you had a hysterectomy sometime back and that you claimed to be pregnant for a while, but, you really weren’t. So, we’re trying to figure out where this baby came from.”

He added that he knew she “didn’t give birth this morning.”

“What do you mean?” Parker replied. “I just told y’all what happened.”

Dansby warned her that the doctor would be able to tell whether she had given birth or not, but she continued to insist that she’d told the truth.

Yet, just minutes after the doctor arrived around 1:07 p.m., he can be heard in the footage telling Parker, “So, it surely doesn’t look like a baby came out of there.”

Investigator Asked Whether Parker Was a “Cold-Blooded Murderer”

Even with the doctor’s finding, Parker continued to insist that she’d given birth to the infant, leading Dansby to press her further.

”So what happened? Like I told you Taylor, this isn’t my first rodeo,” he remarked, per the body camera footage. “There’s people who do stuff just because they are very evil people, they’re real bad people. I’ve dealt with them. I’ve dealt with them my whole life, cold-blooded murderers, serial killers, all of it. I’ve done it and here’s the thing. You seem like a nice person. I think you may be a little bit confused about some things and I get that.”

He explained that some people may “automatically assume the worst” if she didn’t come clean about what happened.

“Essentially what we have is: we have a dead woman in Texas and you took the baby out of her, which caused her to die,” he continued. “And my question is: is Taylor a cold-blooded murderer or is it something else? I mean, you know sometimes people they go through depression and you know some mental issues and things…that causes good people to make bad choices, alright?”

What Did Taylor Parker Tell Police Happened Before Reagan Simmons Hancock’s Murder?

Dansby continued to press her for another 15 minutes, before Parker gradually began to open up about what she alleged happened that morning.

Parker told Dansby the victim—who she never identified by name and only described as a photography client—called her the morning of Oct. 9, 2020 to check on her and asked her to come over.

“What happened then?” Dansby asked before Parker replied, “I don’t remember.”

But Parker slowly began filling in details as the interrogation continued, with Parker telling Dansby that the victim had called her “a liar” before the two got into a physical fight. According to her account, the fight began outside and eventually moved into the living room.

“We both hit each other,” she said in the footage, “and she hit her head on the table.”

Parker claimed that at some point Hancock grabbed a knife and must have fallen on it during their fight, explaining, “She had to of, because I didn’t stab her.”

She told Dansby that she had just been “trying to save” the baby—at Hancock’s insistence—after they both realized that Hancock was dying.

“I kept screaming for her to push,” Parker alleged. “She said, ‘Take her’.”

She claimed to Dansby the baby just “fell out” of Hancock’s stomach and she made the decision to take the child, tearfully telling the OSBI agent, “I really wanted to a baby.”

But prosecutors painted a vastly different picture of what happened in court, telling jurors that Parker faked a pregnancy for 10 months—buying an ultrasound picture and hosting a gender reveal party—before targeting the pregnant Hancock and attacking her at her home, according to Nextstar Media Wire.

Prosecutors argued  that Parker “slaughtered” Hancock, according to court records, delivering 113 sharp force injuries and 39 blunt force injuries that broke Hancock’s nose and caused 5 skull fractures. Then, she performed a “crude c-section” on the baby and left Hancock’s older daughter alone in the home with her dying mother as she made off with the child, according to the documents.

Taylor Parker Told Officer “I Don’t Know What Made Me Do That”

After confessing to the deadly fight at the hospital, Parker reflected on her actions after Dansby left the room.

“I don’t know why I did it,” she told the female Idabel Police officer as the body camera continued to roll. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me because I’ve never been a bad person.”

Parker added, “I’ve never hurt anybody and I don’t know what made me do that.”

A short time later, the officer informed Parker that she was being placed under arrest.

“You’re gonna be under arrest, ok, and you know that, but you’ve got to understand we’re not here to hurt you, Ok?” the officer told her before walking her out of the hospital room in handcuffs and placing her in the backseat of the patrol car.

Taylor was convicted of murder and sentenced to death in November 2022. In May, the U.S. Supreme Court denied a request to review Parker’s case, per the Texarkana Gazette.
