Iran Relocates FIFA World Cup Base from U.S. to Mexico

0

IN BRIEF

  • The Iranian football federation says it’s unsure if US visas would be granted to all of the team members.
  • Iran’s three group stage games are set to take place in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Iran has decided to relocate its World Cup training camp to Mexico, a move sanctioned by FIFA as announced by Mehdi Taj, the president of Iran’s football federation.

The Iranian squad will now set up their base in Tijuana, a city situated on the Mexican side of the border with the United States, Taj revealed in a video published by the Fars news agency.

Taj explained, “After productive discussions with FIFA officials, we successfully obtained approval to switch our training location from the United States to Mexico. This decision was driven by difficulties in securing visas.”

“Our team will now be stationed in Tijuana, a coastal city near the Pacific Ocean. Although it borders the US, it is firmly within Mexican territory, and we have already finalized our arrangements there,” Taj added.

He emphasized that this shift will alleviate visa-related challenges, allowing the team to utilize Iran Air’s direct flights to Mexico for their travel needs.

Iran’s participation in the World Cup has been in question for months because it is being co-hosted by the United States, which along with Israel began bombing Iran on 28 February, sparking a wider war in the Middle East.

Iran has been drawn in Group G and will play their first two matches in Los Angeles.

The team opens its campaign against New Zealand on 15 June and will then face Belgium on 21 June before rounding off their group games against Egypt in Seattle on 26 June.

Taj said that Tijuana was closer to the cities where Iran will play than the camp in Arizona would have been.

“The distance for us in the two games that we have in LA will be a 55-minute flight. Which is a lot less compared to Tucson,” the federation president said.

The Iran team is currently preparing in Antalya, southern Türkiye, and some of the squad went to the US embassy in Ankara on Thursday (local time) to submit visa applications for the World Cup.

Visa uncertainty for the Iranian team

The Iranian football federation’s vice-president Mehdi Mohammad Nabi said on Tuesday that the federation was unsure if US visas would be granted to all of the team and accompanying officials.

“We’re not certain yet that all the players and staff will receive US visas,” he said, but added that Iran was “very confident” in FIFA’s protocols.

Sarah Hanna, the head of the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson where the Iran team were to have been based, told Agence France-Presse that she could not confirm the move to Mexico and referred all questions to World Cup organisers.

At a FIFA congress in Vancouver last month, president Gianni Infantino said that Iran would play their World Cup games in the US as scheduled.

“Let me start at the outset by confirming straight away, for those who maybe want to say something else or write something else, that of course Iran will be participating at the FIFA World Cup 2026,” Infantino said then.

“And of course, Iran will play in the United States of America. The reason for that is simple, because we have to unite. We have to bring people together.”

The World Cup, hosted by the US, Mexico and Canada, kicks off on 11 June.

Teen Sets Blaze to Kane County Cougars’ Team Bus: Shocking Incident in Canada

0

A Canadian teenager, just 15 years old, stands accused of setting ablaze a professional baseball team’s bus while its players were resting at a nearby hotel. The fire reduced the vehicle and its entire contents to ashes.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. near Blue Cross Park in downtown Winnipeg. Police report that the Kane County Cougars’ charter bus caught fire during the team’s visit to Canada.

Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found the tour bus completely consumed by flames outside the ballpark, which is the home ground of the Winnipeg Goldeyes.

The Kane County Cougars, an independent pro team from Geneva, Illinois, were in town for a three-game series against the Goldeyes. The fire broke out shortly after their second match concluded.

Officials confirmed that the bus, along with everything inside, was utterly destroyed. The Cougars shared that players lost valuable equipment and personal items in the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

The team was sleeping at a Winnipeg hotel when the fire broke out, according to ABC7 Chicago.

Police said a bystander spotted someone inside the burning bus and helped them escape before first responders reached the scene. Officers later detained two teenagers suspected of deliberately starting the fire.

A 15-year-old girl was charged with arson causing damage to property and possession of incendiary material.

Police said she was later released on an undertaking into “the custody of a responsible adult.”

An undertaking under Canadian law is a promise to appear in court and comply with court-ordered conditions.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service put out the blaze.

The Cougars said the Winnipeg Goldeyes helped arrange a replacement bus so the team could travel to Fargo, North Dakota, for its weekend games against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

The club’s Iowa-based bus company, Windstar, is sending another bus to bring the team back to Illinois after the series.

NASCAR’s Decision: Next Race Continues Despite Kyle Busch’s Tragic Passing

0

NASCAR’s chief, Steve O’Donnell, has made it clear that upcoming events will proceed as planned, despite the recent passing of the esteemed driver Kyle Busch. O’Donnell emphasized that keeping the races on schedule honors Busch’s legacy and passion for the sport.

Kyle Busch, a celebrated two-time Cup Series champion and devoted father of two, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday with a severe illness. Later that day, NASCAR shared the tragic news of his passing at the age of 41. The racing community has been left mourning the loss of one of its brightest stars.

On Saturday, Busch’s family disclosed that his death was due to “severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis,” a condition that led to rapid and overwhelming complications. This heartbreaking revelation has brought an outpouring of sympathy and support from fans and fellow competitors alike.

The family’s statement explained that medical evaluations confirmed the pneumonia’s escalation into sepsis, which ultimately claimed Busch’s life. It is a stark reminder of how swiftly health conditions can turn critical.

Kyle Busch’s illustrious career spanned over 24 years, during which he participated in more than 760 races. He leaves behind a legacy not just on the track but in the hearts of those who knew him. Busch is survived by his wife, Samantha, and their two young children, Brexton, 11, and Lennix, four. His passing is a profound loss to both his family and the entire NASCAR community.

While he refused to answer any medical questions following Busch’s death, O’Donnell was asked if NASCAR were considering canceling the Coca-Cola 600 race on Sunday.

He replied: ‘I think it’s a fair question, but when you look at what minimal conversations did take place between RCR, ourselves, family, it was – Kyle Busch would probably be pretty p***ed off if we didn’t race.

‘So we’re gonna honor his memory and make sure people know what he was all about.’

Busch was testing in the Chevrolet racing simulator in Concord on Wednesday when he became unresponsive and was transported to a hospital in Charlotte, as per the Associated Press.

And while a cause of death has not yet emerged, Busch was struggling with something in his final weeks.

He radioed for medical assistance from his car in the middle of one of his final NASCAR races on May 10 in upstate New York, just days before his death.

And now, another eerie clip has emerged from May 16 of Busch being asked if he had recovered from what he thought was simply a nasty cough.

‘I had a pretty – you can kind of still hear it, I’m still not great,’ Busch said, waving his hand to his face as he spoke to Jeff Gluck of The Athletic. ‘But er, the cough was pretty substantial.’

In a clip from Busch’s May 10 race, he was asking for a doctor to urgently meet him to give him ‘a shot’.

With 38 laps to go in the NASCAR Cup Series game, Busch told his team over the radio: ‘Can somebody try to find Bill Heisel? He’s the kindred doctor guy. Tell him I need him after the race, please.’

He was then asked whether he needed the doctor at his car or his bus, to which he replied: ‘Uh, bus. I’m going to need a shot.’

According to the TV broadcast, Busch had been struggling with a sinus cold that was exacerbated by the intense G-forces and elevation changes at the New York road course.

Busch went on to claim his record fifth NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series trophy that day, despite clearly still struggling with illness.

Following his death, which came just six days after the victory, a heartbreaking clip of Busch’s post-race interview resurfaced.

After earning his 69th career Trucks Series race win with the triumph at Dover, Busch was asked how many races he wanted to win in his career before he stops racing.

‘You take whatever you can get, man,’ Busch said. ‘You never know when the last one is going to be, so cherish them all – trust me.’

It remains unclear whether his sinus issues and cough were related to the cause of his death.

Following the tragic news, the NASCAR great’s son Brexton, who celebrated his 11th birthday just three days before his father’s passing, made a subtle tribute on social media.

Brexton updated his profile pictures on Instagram and Facebook to an image of him embracing his dad on Friday.

The photo was taken on February 21 when Busch and his family celebrated his victory at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Fr8 Racing 208 at Echo Park Speedway in Georgia.

In the moments after the victorious Busch crossed the finish line, Brexton had rushed to greet him in emotional scenes.

Donald Trump paid tribute to Busch and his family on Friday night, praising the driver as a ‘true talent’ as he addressed the tragic passing.

The president previously commended Busch and his wife Samantha’s campaigning for affordable in vitro fertilization treatment.

‘The LEGENDARY NASCAR Driver Kyle Busch tragically and unexpectedly passed away yesterday,’ the president began in a post shared to Truth Social.

‘He was a true talent who loved NASCAR and its fans. Kyle was a WINNER! He was a two time Cup Champion, and holds the All Time Record for WINS in NASCAR’s Top Three series, and even won another just last weekend.

‘Kyle’s wife, Samantha, and their two beautiful children are in our thoughts and prayers. Samantha was at the White House in October, for IVF. She truly loved Kyle!’

He added: ‘Rest in Peace Kyle Busch. You will always be a LEGEND!’

Seattle’s AI Mogul Relocates to Red State: Fed Up with Millionaire Tax and Mayor’s ‘Woke’ Policies

0

Jesse Proudman, a Seattle native and prominent figure in the AI industry, has decided to leave his hometown.

Proudman, aged 41, is known for founding three companies in Washington, including Venice.ai, an AI platform that emphasizes user privacy.

Last week, Proudman shared his plans to relocate to a more conservative state, citing increasing taxes and dissatisfaction with Seattle’s mayor, Katie Wilson, whom he criticizes for her dismissive stance on entrepreneurs.

“We’re exploring alternatives,” Proudman explained to Fox News. “We’ve been considering places like Nevada, Texas, Austin, Nashville, and Florida. These locations offer a thriving business environment.”

He added, “These are places where the government supports entrepreneurship, welcomes individuals, and doesn’t demonize those who have achieved success.”

At the end of March, Washington Governor Bob Ferguson signed the millionaire tax law, which is aimed at the super-rich.

Under the new state law, those earning over $1 million per year will be slapped with a 9.9 percent hike, which Ferguson deemed ‘historic.’

Recently, Wilson, 43, joked that she would welcome the departure of high earners from Seattle due to the policy.

‘I think the claims that millionaires are gonna leave our state are super overblown, if the ones that leave, “bye,”‘ the Democratic Socialist said while speaking at an event put on by Seattle University last month.

Proudman said Wilson’s attitude towards the entrepreneurs who help build the city enrages him during an interview with The Jason Rantz Show on Seattle Red 770 AM on Monday.

‘For years, it was a phenomenal community in place to build a business. And then over the last, I don’t know, five or six years or post-COVID era, we’ve slowly seen this shift to be antagonistic against those who start companies, against those who build something from nothing,’ he said.

‘The capital gains tax was the first sort of nail in the coffin for me. And then we’ve seen this year now with the millionaires tax, and then the discussion of a wealth tax on top of that, it’s really created an environment that makes it just hostile for entrepreneurs to be here.’

Proudman added, ‘The reality is, downtown is still a complete disaster, five, six years after COVID. This is not a money problem. This is a spending problem. This is a competence problem with government and trying to remedy that by taxing the very people that are trying to be here and who are already paying some of the highest tax rates in the country, across all of their possessions. It’s just insane.’

Earlier this year, Starbucks unveiled plans to move its logistics operations from its Seattle offices to Nashville.

Several other businesses, including Amazon and Meta, have already cut jobs in the state.

Wilson is now in charge of the city where Starbucks was founded in 1971, after being elected last year.

That was despite critics labeling her privileged and out of touch after it emerged she regularly receives checks from her professor parents to pay for childcare.

Wilson and her husband spend $2,200 per month on daycare for their toddler, and another $2,200 to rent their apartment, it emerged during her campaign.

She acknowledged her privileged upbringing and said she became aware of it while attending public schools, where she had friends from less privileged backgrounds.

Top Daily Exercises for Men Over 50 to Rebuild Strength Beyond CrossFit

A fitness expert is shedding light on five essential daily exercises designed to help men over 50 regain full-body strength.

For those in their golden years, maintaining full-body strength hinges on mastering five fundamental movements: pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, and generating power. These exercises are crucial as they equip individuals with the ability to rise from the floor, carry heavy objects, ascend stairs, lift items, stabilize their bodies, and move with greater assurance, eliminating the need for an extensive warm-up before tackling the day.

CrossFit principles are often praised for their adaptability, tailoring workouts to suit the individual. This same flexibility can be applied to these foundational exercises. For instance, push-ups can be adjusted to suit different levels of ability, whether it be by elevating hands on a counter, placing knees on the floor, or performing full push-ups from the ground. Similarly, pull-ups can range from simple dead hangs to band-assisted reps, slow negatives, or full chin-over-bar repetitions. The focus should be on the quality of the movement rather than the specific variation. Choose the version that you can execute with precision, practice it consistently, and allow progress to naturally follow.

Remarkable improvements often occur when individuals stop pursuing random, grueling workouts and instead concentrate on mastering the basics. These exercises don’t need to be exhaustive daily challenges. Rather, they should be incorporated regularly to keep muscles, joints, and the nervous system in peak condition. By viewing each repetition as practice rather than punishment, strength will be restored in a functional and sustainable way.

I’ve seen men make the best progress when they stop chasing random hard workouts and start owning the basics. These movements don’t need to crush you every day. They need to show up often enough to keep your muscles, joints, and nervous system sharp. When you treat each rep like practice instead of punishment, strength comes back in a way you can actually use.

The five exercises below give you a simple daily framework for restoring full-body strength. You’ll train your chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs, glutes, hamstrings, core, and power output. Scale the movement to your current ability, keep your technique clean, and build from the version that lets you move with control.

Push-Ups

Push-ups train your chest, shoulders, triceps, and core while forcing your body to stay strong from head to heels. The beauty of the push-up is how easily you can scale it. Hands on a wall, hands on a bench, knees on the floor, or full push-ups all train the same pressing pattern when the reps stay clean. That makes push-ups a better daily strength builder than chasing random high-intensity circuits, because you can practice pressing, bracing, and upper-body control with minimal setup. Strong push-ups carry over to getting off the floor, pushing yourself up, bracing with your hands, and keeping your upper body useful after 50.

Muscles Trained: Chest, shoulders, triceps, core

How to Do It:

  1. Place your hands on the floor, a bench, or a sturdy elevated surface.
  2. Step your feet back until your body forms a straight line.
  3. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
  4. Lower your chest toward your hands with control.
  5. Press through your hands to return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat with clean form for every rep.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 6 to 12 reps. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Wall push-ups, incline push-ups, knee push-ups, full push-ups, slow-tempo push-ups

Form Tip: Keep your elbows angled slightly back and avoid letting your hips sag.

Pull-Ups

Pull-ups train your lats, upper back, biceps, forearms, grip, and core. Full pull-ups are a high bar, but the movement scales beautifully. You can start with dead hangs, shoulder blade pulls, band-assisted pull-ups, slow negatives, or chin-up holds before working toward full reps. What matters most is training the pulling pattern with control. Pulling strength supports posture, shoulder health, carrying ability, and the upper-body strength men tend to lose when they stop training their backs directly.

Muscles Trained: Lats, upper back, biceps, forearms, grip, core

How to Do It:

  1. Grip a pull-up bar with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and keep your legs still.
  3. Pull your shoulders down away from your ears.
  4. Drive your elbows toward your ribs as you pull upward.
  5. Pause briefly near the top if you can.
  6. Lower yourself with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 3 to 8 reps, or 3 sets of 10 to 20 second holds. Rest for 60 to 90 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Dead hangs, scapular pull-ups, band-assisted pull-ups, chin-up holds, slow negatives

Form Tip: Start each rep by pulling your shoulders down before bending your elbows.

Squats

Squats train your quads, glutes, hamstrings, hips, and core while reinforcing a movement pattern you use every day. Sitting down, standing up, getting out of a low chair, and climbing stairs all rely on squat strength. The movement can be scaled easily with a chair, box, counter support, bodyweight, goblet load, or tempo work. A clean bodyweight box squat done consistently beats sloppy loaded reps every time. The goal is to own the pattern, build leg strength, and keep your lower body strong enough to support everything else you want to do.

Muscles Trained: Quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, hips, core

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and keep your chest lifted.
  3. Push your hips back and bend your knees.
  4. Lower to a depth you can control.
  5. Drive through your feet to stand tall.
  6. Squeeze your glutes at the top.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 15 reps. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Barbell squats, box squats, assisted squats, bodyweight squats, goblet squats

Form Tip: Keep your knees tracking with your toes and press through your whole foot.

Deadlifts

Deadlifts train your hamstrings, glutes, back, grip, and core while teaching your hips to create force. Men over 50 need a strong hinge because bending, lifting, carrying, yard work, and picking things up from the floor all depend on it. Deadlifts scale well with bodyweight hinges, banded good mornings, kettlebell deadlifts, dumbbell RDLs, trap bar deadlifts, or light barbell pulls. The variation you choose should let you feel your hips and hamstrings working without your lower back taking over. Clean hinges build strength you’ll use constantly.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, lower back, upper back, grip, core

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and a weight in front of you.
  2. Brace your core and soften your knees.
  3. Push your hips back while keeping your back flat.
  4. Grip the weight with both hands.
  5. Drive through your feet and stand tall.
  6. Lower the weight with control by hinging at your hips.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 6 to 10 reps. Rest for 60 to 90 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Barbell deadlifts, dumbbell deadlift, kettlebell deadlifts, dumbbell RDLs, trap bar deadlifts

Form Tip: Keep the weight close to your body and move through your hips.

Jumps

Jumps train lower-body power, coordination, stiffness, and landing control. Power fades faster than strength as you age, so some form of explosive training belongs in the plan when your joints can handle it. The key is to scale the jump rather than force a version that feels sketchy. You can use calf raises, squat to calf raises, low pogo hops, step-ups with a quick drive, or low box jumps. The goal isn’t to jump like you’re trying out for an NFL combine. The goal is to produce force, land quietly, and keep some athletic pop in your body.

Muscles Trained: Quadriceps, glutes, calves, hamstrings, core

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and soften your knees.
  3. Lower into a shallow squat.
  4. Drive through your feet and jump upward.
  5. Land softly with your knees slightly bent.
  6. Reset your position before the next rep.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 3 to 6 reps. Rest for 60 to 90 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Box jumps, pogo hops, broad jumps, weighted jump squats, low box jumps

Form Tip: Land quietly and stop the set before your reps get sloppy.

How to Make These Five Moves Work After 50

These exercises work best when you treat them like daily practice, not a daily beatdown. CrossFit popularized the idea of scaling for a reason: the right version done well creates progress, while the wrong version done poorly just creates frustration. Use the variation that lets you move cleanly, feel the target muscles, and repeat the work often without dragging yourself through the rest of the day.

  • Scale the movement to your current level: Use a wall push-up, assisted pull-up, chair squat, light hinge, or low-impact jump variation when needed. Scaling keeps the pattern alive while your strength catches up.
  • Keep technique as the standard: A clean rep beats a harder variation performed poorly. Strong positions help your muscles do the work and keep your joints from paying the price.
  • Use daily volume wisely: You don’t need max effort every day. A few crisp sets can restore strength without turning your routine into a recovery problem.
  • Train all five patterns across the week: Push, pull, squat, hinge, and jump cover the major strength qualities men need after 50. Rotate intensity if your body needs more recovery.
  • Progress one small step at a time: Lower the incline on push-ups, add a few seconds to a chin-up hold, squat a little deeper, hinge with more control, or jump slightly higher. Small wins add up when you repeat them.

The basics still work because your body still needs them. Pick the version you can own, train it with intent, and let consistency do the heavy lifting.

Spotlight on Standouts and Strugglers from the Knicks’ 121-108 triumph over the Cavaliers in Game 3 on Saturday night in Cleveland:

Hero

Jalen Brunson delivered a performance for the books.

Despite a rocky start, where he connected on just one of his initial five attempts, Brunson emerged as the key player when it mattered most.

He poured in 18 of his impressive 28 points during the second half, finishing with a solid 10-for-19 shooting stat.

His most dazzling moment wasn’t a shot, but a clever assist—an alley-oop to Mitchell Robinson that caught the entire crowd off guard, who expected him to pull the trigger himself.

Brunson scored 18 of his game-high 28 points in the second half, and shot 10-for-19 from the field.

His best play was an assist, an alley-oop feed to Mitchell Robinson when the entire arena thought he was going to shoot.

The play beat the third-quarter buzzer and pushed the Knicks lead to nine.

The Cavaliers never threatened again.

Zero

James Harden was yet again severely outplayed by Brunson.

He had six more turnovers and went scoreless in the fourth quarter.

On a night the Cavaliers needed The Beard’s best, he didn’t show up for most of the second half.

Unsung hero

It feels like months ago that coach Mike Brown was considering benching Mikal Bridges.

The two-way wing is in the midst of his best stretch as a Knick.

He continued to shine Saturday night, scoring 22 points on 11-for-15 shooting.

Bridges is shooting an absurd 68.2 percent from the field over the past 10 games.

Viral ‘Hot’ Judge Returns to Courtroom to Sentence Influencer ‘Baby Alien

0

The charismatic judge, who previously overshadowed the contentious ‘looksmaxxing’ influencer Clavicular, made headlines again as he presided over a case involving another internet personality known as ‘Baby Alien.’ This time, the proceedings centered on allegations related to the shooting of an alligator in Florida.

On Wednesday, Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres, who goes by the online alias ‘Baby Alien,’ stood before Judge Marcus Bach Armas. He faced charges of firing a weapon at an alligator, a serious accusation that brought him into the courtroom spotlight.

Cotto Torres, aged 26, entered a plea of no contest. As reported by NBC Miami, he received a sentence comprising six months of probation.

Part of his sentence includes completing 20 hours of community service and participating in firearm safety instruction provided by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, as noted by the news outlet.

Judge Bach Armas gained viral fame after recently sentencing Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, to a similar punishment of community service and probation just last Friday.

Online commenters quickly noted how the judge had supposedly ‘mogged’ Peters, online slang referring to outshining or overshadowing someone’s looks, success or accomplishments.

In footage posted last month, Peters could be seen pointing a handgun into swampy waters from an airboat at the Francis S. Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area.

Torres Cotto, as well as another influencer known as Andrew ‘Cuban Tarzan’ Morales, allegedly joined Peters on the water.

Cotto Torres’ attorney, Yale Sanford, said the no contest plea allowed him to ‘move forward and focus on the future.’

‘Known to millions online as Baby Alien, he has built a large following through humor and entertainment, and he looks forward to continuing to create content that makes people smile,’ Sanford told PEOPLE.

The influencer has about 394,000 followers on TikTok and is known for his comedy sketches and raunchy posts.

In the video published last month, one of the bystanders appeared to say that the animal was dead before Peters cut him off.

‘Just got to make sure,’ Peters said, before firing another round. ‘Yeah, I think it’s dead.’

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission posted on X that it was aware of and investigating the video containing Peters and Cotto Torres after it started circulating online.

The influencer group was subsequently charged for ‘unlawfully and knowingly [discharging] a firearm in a public place,’ according to documents from the Miami–Dade State’s Attorney’s Office obtained by the Daily Mail.

Peters’ attorney, Jeffrey Neiman, previously said he was ‘following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide’ and stressed that ‘no people or animals were harmed,’ per the BBC.

Peters has become increasingly popular online for ‘looksmaxxing,’ an internet subculture comprised mostly of young men going to extreme extents to supposedly maximize their physical attractiveness and facial features.

However, Peters was outshined at his sentencing, as users ironically noted that Bach Armas was a ‘chad,’ internet terminology for a wildly good-looking and successful man.

Sadly for his new fans, Bach Armas is a 42-year-old married father-of-two who lives with his family in Miami.

The acclaimed judge is of Jewish and Cuban heritage but was born and raised in Miami-Dade.

He wed fellow lawyer Lara Marisa Bach in July 2012 and the couple share two daughters.

On his website, he said he hoped to ‘bring a fresh, compassionate and community-oriented approach to the bench that is respectful and understanding of the needs of litigants and their counsel.’

Previously, he served as a legal and government affairs executive with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium for 12 years, advising senior executives on transformative sports and entertainment ventures.

Bach Armas described himself as experienced in ‘all areas of transactional and litigation matters’ on a public LinkedIn profile.

Beyond his legal career, Bach Armas was awarded the City Year of Mentorship Award for his mentoring efforts in Miami last year.

Meet Kourtney Kellar: The Glamorous Life of Isaiah Hartenstein’s Wife and Her Impact on His NBA Journey

Isaiah Hartenstein’s journey from a European basketball sensation to a dependable NBA starter is nothing short of impressive. Originally honing his skills in Germany and Lithuania, he achieved championship glory with the latter in 2017. Riding high on this victory, Hartenstein transitioned to the NBA, being drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2017, where he made his debut the following season.

His NBA career has seen him wear several jerseys. In 2020, he joined the Denver Nuggets, only to be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2021. His journey continued as he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, followed by a stint with the New York Knicks. Most recently, he secured a lucrative three-year, $87 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Amidst the frequent team changes and relocations, one constant presence in Hartenstein’s life has been his wife, Kourtney Kellar. Here’s a closer look at their relationship.

How Hartenstein and Kellar met

The couple’s story began in 2019 when Hartenstein reached out to Kellar on Instagram, making the first move in her direct messages.

Kellar reminisced about the moment to the New York Post, saying, “My Instagram often attracts comments about my appearance, which is flattering. But Isaiah stood out by commenting on my smile, saying, ‘You have the most beautiful smile.’ He even shared his favorite photo of me, where I was simply wearing a turtleneck. It was a genuinely sweet gesture.”

“My Instagram is pretty sexy, so I get a lot of comments about my body, which is nice. But he came in and messaged me something like, ‘You have the most beautiful smile,’” she recalled to the New York Post. “[He] sent me his favorite photo of me from my feed. I was wearing a turtleneck in that picture. It was really sweet of him.”

At the time, Hartenstein still played for the Rockets and was living in the Houston area, while Kellar was living a few hours away in Dallas. They FaceTimed for weeks and eventually met up in person.

Kellar is a model and went viral after working with Jake Paul

Kellar was born on March 8, 1991, in Texas. She grew up in a military family and studied athletic training at Henderson State University. While in school, she began modeling to help pay for tuition.

“I was a broke college kid and needed money, so I started modeling in Arkansas for brands like Dillard’s and Walmart,” she told the Post.

Kellar earned her degree in 2014, but decided she wanted to model full-time. After winning Miss Texas International in 2017, she expanded into fashion and promotional work, eventually becoming widely recognized as a model and social media influencer. She is signed with the modeling agencies Lipps LA and Select Miami and has walked in shows at Miami Swim Week as well as New York Fashion Week. She also appeared on the cover of Malvie magazine.

Kellar went viral in 2021 when she was a ring girl for Jake Paul during his fight against Tyron Woodley, and viewers thought Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, was flirting with her.

When Hartenstein and Kellar got married and how many children they have

In April 2022, Hartenstein proposed to Kellar on a beach in Malibu.

The couple got married in July 2023. Their wedding took place aboard a 6,000-square-foot yacht off Newport Beach, California, with around 60 guests.

In May 2024, Hartenstein and Kellar welcomed their first child together, a son named Elijah.
