Kristin Cavallari recently shared insights into her relationship with her erstwhile rival, Lauren Conrad.

At the age of 39, Cavallari came together with her fellow Laguna Beach alumni on the red carpet for the premiere of their reunion show.

Speaking to ET, she revealed, referring to 40-year-old Conrad, “We’re friends now and can come together. It’s been wonderful to connect with her as adults.”

Last week the 39-year-old multihyphenate reunited with her Laguna Beach co-stars for the red carpet premiere of their upcoming reunion show.

She told ET about Conrad, 40, ‘We’re buddies now and we can unite. It’s been really nice to have this time to get to know her as an adult.’

And she emphasized elsewhere in the interview, ‘I respect her on so many different levels.’

The MTV reality series ran for three seasons and launched the careers of both Cavallari and Conrad who went on to lead their own TV shows in the years after Laguna Beach’s finale.

While appearing on the original show as teens, Cavallari and Conrad were in a contentious love triangle with castmate Stephen Colletti, 40.

Fans will soon see the women hash out their high school drama more than 20 years after it was broadcast on TV.

‘We have never had a conversation on camera, just the two of us,’ Cavallari says to Conrad in a teaser for the reunion. ‘Are you ready?’

The Uncommon James founder also revealed that Conrad is an upcoming guest on her podcast Let’s Be Honest.

‘She came on my podcast that’s coming out April 7th and it’s just a really good girl chat and it’s been really nice to reconnect with her,’ she shared.

Despite their past rivalry over Colletti, the mom of three reflected, ‘I’m like, wait, why did we hate each other? We have so much in common.’

And she said the trio can now make light of the once intense situation.

‘We can all just laugh at it now. And in a lot of ways, I found it to be therapeutic and we could put some stuff to bed,’ Cavallari reflected about the cast coming together once again.

She previously revealed in October 2025 that she and her former frenemy had become ‘friends’ after filming the reunion.

The star added that the reunion had been ‘really healing in a lot of ways,’ despite not wanting to take part initially.

That same month, Cavallari shared an Instagram photo as both she and Conrad posed together with big smiles on their faces.

In the caption she wrote: ‘Everyone can put away their team Lauren and team Kristin shirts now.’

Back in 2022, both stars also briefly talked about their past conflict on the Back To The Beach podcast.

‘My take on it is, you and I never really had any beef,’ Cavallari expressed.

‘Obviously there was a little truth to what happened with the three of us, but I felt like MTV coming kept it alive and made it way worse than it ever would have been.’

Iran Announces Passing of High-Ranking Naval Commander

0

On Monday, Iran officially acknowledged the death of Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval force. He was reportedly killed in an Israeli strike, an attack that Israel claims targeted the individual they hold responsible for obstructing the vital Strait of Hormuz.

The news of Tangsiri’s death was confirmed by a statement on the Sepah News website, a media outlet affiliated with the Guards. The announcement detailed that Tangsiri had “succumbed to severe injuries” suffered in the assault carried out the previous week.

Last Thursday, Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, revealed that an Israeli airstrike had eliminated Tangsiri. Katz described him as the figure primarily accountable for “the terrorist operation of mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz,” a vital waterway whose disruption has significantly impacted global energy prices since the current conflict erupted two months ago.

In their statement, the Revolutionary Guards highlighted that Tangsiri had been engaged in organizing coastal defenses at the time of his death. The Guards also issued a defiant pledge, stating, “we will not rest until the enemy is completely destroyed,” stressing their continued commitment to their military objectives.

The Guards statement said he had been organising coastal defences when he was killed and vowed “that we will not rest until the enemy is completely destroyed”.

He is the latest top Iranian official to have been confirmed by Tehran to have been killed in the war.

Supreme leader Ali Khamenei was killed on the first day of the war on February 28 and the Islamic republic’s powerful security chief, Ali Larijani, was killed earlier this month, along with over a dozen other prominent figures.

Katz had said senior officers of the naval command were killed in the strike that killed Tangsiri, without giving further details.

Tangsiri had vowed earlier in March to “deliver the harshest blows to the aggressor enemy while maintaining the strategy of closing the Strait of Hormuz”.

A veteran of the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, Tangsiri was one of the longest-serving senior figures in the force and one of its highest-profile faces within the Islamic republic.

He had been appointed by Khamenei in 2018 to head the naval branch of the Revolutionary Guards, whose task is to protect the Islamic republic from internal and external threats.

Under his leadership, the Guards’ navy had been significantly strengthened. In recent years, it has claimed responsibility for seizing numerous foreign vessels.

He was sanctioned by the United States in 2019 in a counter-terrorism related designation.

Israel and the United States have said they have dealt a major blow to Iran by killing top officials, but some analysts say the Islamic republic is still showing resilience and capacity to recover from setbacks.

Tragic Incident: 3-Year-Old Fatally Injures Infant as New Mother Recovers in Hospital

0

Background: The Point Pleasant, W.Va., neighborhood where Taylor Flint was watching a newborn baby in October 2025 (Google Maps). Inset: Taylor Flint (Mason County Prosecuting Attorney).

A tragic incident in West Virginia has led to charges against a woman accused of causing the death of a newborn she was entrusted to care for. Taylor Flint, 25, faces charges of child neglect resulting in death after an infant suffered fatal injuries while under her supervision late last year.

The Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s office reports that Flint was responsible for looking after an 11-day-old baby boy on October 25, 2025. The newborn’s mother was hospitalized due to complications from childbirth, leaving Flint as the designated caregiver. According to a criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime, Flint was tasked with the baby’s care during this period.

Flint’s own 3-year-old daughter was present while she was caring for the newborn. Authorities indicated that Flint was aware of her daughter’s previous violent interactions with the infant.

The complaint details that the baby, born on October 14, 2025, was left in Flint’s care while his mother remained in the hospital. On the morning of October 25, Flint discovered the baby unresponsive and sought emergency assistance. Upon arrival at the hospital, medical personnel found the infant suffering from “multiple traumatic injuries” and in a state of “critical medical distress.”

Doctors reported the baby had sustained several injuries, including wounds to his face, head, and hands, as well as a fractured skull and “severe intra-cranial injuries.” Despite efforts to revive him, the baby went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 4:49 a.m.

When police spoke to Flint, she told them that she got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and checked the baby while he was in his bassinet. Her daughter was “in the bedroom hiding in a corner.” Flint told police that she believed her daughter beat the baby several times with a jar of petroleum jelly.

According to the complaint, Flint told police that she had seen her daughter hit, scratch, and bite the baby as a way to get attention for herself. She said she “has to be cautious” when her daughter is around the baby because of her anger and “undiagnosed neurological disorders.” Police did not say whether or not Flint’s daughter had been diagnosed with any kind of neurological disorder.

Following an investigation into the baby’s death, Flint was charged on March 26 with child neglect resulting in death. She was booked into the Western Regional Jail in Mason County, where she is being held on $100,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.

The series, known for its enduring appeal and dramatic twists, faced a wave of changes this season with several cast members stepping away. Kevin McKidd, who played Dr. Owen Hunt, reflected on his departure in a heartfelt statement on March 25. “Grey’s Anatomy has been a monumental chapter in my life, both creatively and personally,” he expressed. “The role of Dr. Owen Hunt and my experiences directing on the show have profoundly shaped me.”

Despite the departures, Grey’s Anatomy continues to captivate its audience with its compelling storytelling. This season was no exception, with dramatic events such as the unexpected death of Monica, played by Natalie Morales, and Amelia’s (Caterina Scorsone) decision to take a sabbatical. As the show evolves, fans eagerly anticipate the new dynamics and narratives season 23 will bring.

Which Grey's Anatomy Stars Are and Aren't Returning

Grey’s Anatomy is returning for season 23 — but not every cast member is confirmed to reprise their role after multiple departures. After the shocking death of Monica (Natalie Morales) early in the season, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) chose to take a sabbatical. It […]

Raver, 57, also broke her silence on the news.

“Playing Dr. Teddy Altman will always hold a dear and special place in my heart. Their contributions leave an indelible mark on Grey’s Anatomy, both in front of and behind the camera. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them both and to see them shine.”

She concluded: “While we will all miss seeing them in the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial each day, I am excited to witness where Kim’s and Kevin’s journeys will take them in the future.”

Australia Cracks Down: Top Social Media Platforms Under Fire for Failing to Protect Under-16 Users

Major social media entities could face hefty penalties after eSafety reported “significant concerns” regarding the ban on under-16s introduced last year.

The first report from the online safety watchdog has revealed significant non-compliance with the minimum-age restrictions on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.

“Although social media companies have initiated some measures, I am apprehensive about their efforts to fully comply with Australian law,” expressed eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant.

According to the report, some progress has been observed in the initial three months of the age ban, including the removal of numerous accounts. However, concerning practices still persist on these platforms.

Such practices involve prompting children to verify their age despite having previously indicated they were underage, allowing minors under 16 to repeatedly attempt age verification, lacking effective avenues for reporting age-restricted accounts, and failing to adequately prevent account creation by those under 16.

As a result of these issues, Inman Grant announced that eSafety is now adopting an “enforcement stance” to address the non-compliance.

eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant says the watchdog has moved to an enforcement stance. (Today)

“Any enforcement action requires sufficient evidence, which takes time to gather,” she said.

“The evidence must establish the platform has not taken reasonable steps to prevent children aged under 16 from having an account.

“That means more than simply demonstrating some children do still have accounts. Rather, the evidence must show the platform has not implemented appropriate systems and processes.”

Platforms found to be non-compliant could face civil penalties of up to $49.5 million, while eSafety can also issue infringement notices and enforceable undertakings.

The platforms mentioned in the new report have been notified.

“Durable, generational change takes time – but these platforms have the capability to comply today and we certainly expect companies operating in Australia to comply with our safety laws,” Inman Grant said.

“They can choose to do so or face escalating consequences, including profound reputational erosion with governments and consumers globally.”
