Pennsylvania Man Arrested Over Alleged ISIS Attack Plot, DOJ Says

0

A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of planning a violent attack in support of ISIS was arrested after FBI agents followed him to a hotel and recovered a semiautomatic rifle, five magazines and 190 rounds of ammunition, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.

Jonathan Hunter Kramer of Valencia allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS, offered to circulate explosives manuals online and said he was preparing for a “mission” but needed a weapon before agents intervened, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Kramer faces a charge of receiving a firearm and ammunition while knowing, or having reasonable cause to believe, they would be used to commit a felony or federal terrorism offense. The alleged offenses include providing or attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

The FBI had known about Kramer since a 2023 investigation, when he was a minor. At that time, he was charged and adjudicated delinquent in Pennsylvania for his role in an alleged mass-casualty attack plot and for possessing child sexual abuse material, the Justice Department said.

Authorities reopened their investigation after receiving an anonymous tip on March 19, shortly after Kramer was released from a juvenile detention facility. The tipster reported that he had been ordering “mysterious” packages and communicating with “his friends from before” his juvenile adjudication.

Investigators said Kramer used the online alias “Hamza Al Rashid,” claimed ties to ISIS and offered to distribute explosives manuals. He allegedly discussed preparing for his “mission” and said he lacked a “weapon.”

On Friday, FBI agents watched Kramer leave his home carrying a bag and take a rideshare to a store, where he purchased a disposable phone, the complaint said.

He then met another individual in the parking lot, retrieved a long black bag from a vehicle’s trunk and traveled to a hotel in Cranberry Township, where he paid cash for a room. Witnesses at both the store and hotel said the bag made a metallic clicking sound when Kramer set it down.

After checking into the hotel, Kramer went to a sporting goods store, where agents observed him at the gun counter.

Agents approached him when he returned to the hotel carrying two bags from the store. Searches of Kramer, his hotel room and his home turned up a semiautomatic rifle, five rifle magazines — two loaded and three capable of holding 30 rounds each — and 190 rounds of rifle ammunition, according to the complaint.

Agents also found a rifle scope and bipod, an entrenchment tool, pepper spray and about 30 knives. A handwritten note read, “DoNt look For me[.] IDK what I did buT I cant live In constant Fear[.]”

Attorney General Todd Blanche said the arrest came as Americans marked the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

“Their outstanding work thwarted this alleged attack before innocent lives could be lost,” Blanche said.

FBI Director Kash Patel said Kramer had been “plotting a violent attack in support of ISIS,” citing his online activity and acquisition of weapons.

The Justice Department did not identify a specific target for the alleged attack.

Kramer was booked into the Butler County Jail and made his first court appearance Monday. Prosecutors have asked that he be held without bond, arguing that he poses a danger to the community.

Migrants Given High-Vis Vests for ‘Death Trap’ Roads Near Camp

0

The Government is set to provide migrants with high-visibility vests in Piddington, an Oxfordshire village holding a symbolic independence referendum today following fierce opposition to plans to house asylum seekers at a nearby former military camp.

The safety measure emerged as residents cast their votes, with officials seeking to prevent new arrivals from being struck by vehicles on what locals have described as ‘death trap’ roads near the village.

Piddington, a village in Oxfordshire with a population of just 350, is mounting a campaign against Government proposals to accommodate 1,250 male migrants at the disused military site.

Villagers are voting in a symbolic referendum on whether the picturesque settlement should remain part of the UK, after Labour announced the planned arrival of migrants.

Cabinet minister Jonathan Reynolds defended the proposal this morning, arguing that communities across the country must be ready to accommodate asylum seekers.

The plans would leave women outnumbered by male asylum seekers by roughly 10 to one, prompting safety concerns in the wake of sex crimes involving boat migrants in recent years.

Residents have also questioned the practicalities of the scheme, noting that roads leading to and from the former Ministry of Defence site have no pavements. They warn migrants walking along them could create a serious road safety hazard.

According to planning documents, Government officials have sought to address those fears by saying that ‘high visibility vests will be provided to those leaving on foot’.

Migrants will be ‘strongly encouraged’ to use shuttle buses provided at the camp. However, as authorities cannot prevent people from leaving on foot, the vests will be issued ‘to further emphasise the potential danger’.

Ian Darby, 63, a Piddington resident, told the Daily Mail that the issue was among many reasons why the former military base was plainly unsuitable for housing such a large number of migrants.

‘If they go wandering, they don’t have pavements on that road,’ he said.

‘It’s very dangerous. The Government says they are going to issue high-vis jackets, but the widest pathway is just one metre, it’s a death trap.’

The surrounding roads have a 50mph speed limit, with the planning documents accepting the military site ‘lacks safe/pavemented routes’ and ‘to enter or exit to site on foot would require considerable care’.

The village’s 350 residents organised today’s symbolic vote on whether to leave the UK after ministers ignored their pleas not to move single male migrants into the nearby military camp at Bicester.

If the camp reaches capacity, asylum seekers will outnumber local residents by almost four to one. Asylum seekers will be free to leave the camp to roam freely around surrounding villages.

The result is expected to favour ‘independence’, with campaigners hoping the symbolic ballot will focus attention in Westminster on their concerns.

Labour is moving asylum seekers into military barracks across the country as part of its drive to end the use of hotels and reduce the cost of housing migrants.

The result of the village’s referendum is expected at around 7am on Wednesday.

Members of Piddington’s parish council told how they have been approached by hundreds of other British villages for advice on how to replicate the campaign, sparking speculation that such referendums could spread across the country.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage subsequently vowed to support any areas that want to hold similar votes.

Labour politicians are yet to clarify how long the military camp will house the asylum seekers.

Ahead of the vote, locals have told how they are terrified by the plans.

More than 20 women said they have signed up for self-defence classes after they were reportedly urged to ‘take precautions’ by police ahead of the migrants’ arrival.

And on Sunday the village’s women wrote an open letter to every female MP declaring: ‘Our safety, our security and our freedoms will be under threat.’

But, of the 226 Parliamentarians who were approached by the women of Piddington, only four responded: Tory MPs Joy Morrissey and Sarah Bool and Reform’s Sarah Pochin and Braverman.

One resident, 51-year-old Louise Brooker, said Piddington – which does not even have a pub or a shop – will ‘be on lockdown’ when the migrants eventually arrive.

‘I won’t feel safe walking along the road,’ she told The Sun. ‘And that’s in the daylight. In the winter here, when it’s dark at 4pm, the very few streetlights that we have don’t stay on all night.

‘So the village is completely pitch black so in effect we are going to be in lockdown because everyone is going to be scared to leave their homes.’

Melise Witkin, 59, said: ‘This is not about being rich or poor, this is about safety. People have worked really hard throughout their lives to live in this village.

‘It is not such a rich or poor village. I just don’t think that is a conversation to be had. This is about safety.

‘We are 356 people in the village with 46 children and 1,250 men turning up is a recipe for disaster. People walk their dogs, children play, I just think it is madness.

‘This is about safety, nothing more. Even for them [the asylum seekers], along that road there is no pavement, there are no street lights. We just have to be realistic.’

Another woman, a mother-of-three, said her family’s lives have been ‘changed forever’ by Labour’s decision.

Other residents meanwhile questioned why the Government has failed to provide any data on the criminality of migrants in the UK, leaving locals in the dark.

It came after Piddington’s parish council claimed it was given just ten days to respond to a 1,000-word planning document for the asylum camp.

The site in Bicester, just 0.4 miles from Piddington as the crow flies, is one of three proposed camps on former military bases. Others at Crowborough in East Sussex and Wethersfield in Essex have already opened, to the dismay of many locals.

Ms Braverman described the scale of the problem in Piddington as ‘stark’ while speaking to reporters on Tuesday.

During a visit to the village, she said: ‘This will dramatically transform the character of the village. These are the wrong plans for this village, and you know only harm and damage will come from it.

‘I applaud the efforts of these women to make their voices heard. They’ve spoken very powerfully, and they are the reason I’m here. I stand with them.’

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp also spoke to residents with Tory spokesman for women and equalities Ms Morrissey, who said party leader Kemi Badenoch had asked her to attend in her place.

He said: ‘The mothers and grandmothers of Piddington are clearly terrified for the safety of their daughters and granddaughters, because we know young male illegal immigrants are disproportionately likely to commit sex offences and rape.

‘Being here underlines how important it is to kick out this Labour Government and leave the ECHR, which would enable us to deport illegal immigrants upon arrival, instead of imposing them on places like Piddington.’

Cue Clothing and Veronika Maine Collapse Into Administration

0

Australian fashion retailer Cue Clothing Co has entered voluntary administration after failing to find a buyer for the business.

Staff in Australia and New Zealand were informed of the decision on Tuesday afternoon, when they were also told that receivers had been appointed.

Receivership allows secured creditors to seek repayment of outstanding debts, typically through the sale of a company’s assets.

Unlike liquidation, the business can continue trading while under receivership. Cue Clothing Co could potentially resume operations after assets are sold and its debts have been settled.

At its height, the fashion chain operated more than 200 stores. It now has 51 locations remaining — 42 full-price stores and nine outlet shops — all of which are expected to keep trading as the sale process gets underway.

FTI Consulting partners Kate Warwick and Vaughan Strawbridge have been appointed as receivers and managers.

Duncan Clubb and Shaun McKinnon of BDO were appointed voluntary administrators.

Hilco Capital, a British investor known for restructuring troubled companies, acquired Cue Clothing from the Levis family in April last year. The sale followed an operating loss of $4.6 million.

The company's 51 stores are set to remain operational as it begins its sale process

Cue Clothing Co’s 51 remaining stores are expected to remain open during the business sale process.

Cue and its sister brand, Veronika Maine, entered voluntary administration this week

Cue and its sister fashion label, Veronika Maine, entered voluntary administration this week.

Rod Levis founded Cue in 1968 in Sydney and it remained in the family, alongside its sister brand Veronika Maine, until the sale to Hilco for an undisclosed amount.

FTI said in a statement that Cue Clothing’s improvements over the last financial year were ‘insufficient to mitigate the impact of overhead costs’.

‘The receivers are continuing to trade the business while they undertake an assessment of the business and restructuring options available,’ it said.

‘A sale process seeking offers for business as going concerns will also commence immediately seeking to secure the future of the brands, a pathway to profitability and ongoing employment for staff.’

A Hilco spokesman called it a ‘disappointing outcome, but the only available course of action given the circumstances’.

‘Our intention has always been to fund Cue to restore growth and profitability,’ the spokesman told AFR.

‘This appointment will now provide an opportunity for a new owner to carry the Cue and Veronika Maine brands forward.’

Cue’s sales reached $103.2million in the last financial year, compared to $98million the year prior.

Its losses also dropped to $5.1million from $14.1million in the same period.

Cue had a major stake in Dion Lee, which fell into administration after after Cue withdrew its investment in 2024 but was bought by American clothing giant Revolve Group.

The arrival of ultra-fast fashion giants like Shein and Temu in recent years has disrupted the Australian retail landscape.

Cue and Veronika Maine are more upmarket than regular fast fashion retailers – such as H&M and Zara that have also dominated the market in recent years – but below luxury designers.

They cater to professional women and largely focus on high quality workwear.

‘Hilco Capital has made the decision to appoint Receivers and Managers to Cue and Veronika Maine after a difficult period,’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail.

‘It is a disappointing outcome, but the only available course of action given the circumstances.

‘Our intention has always been to fund Cue to restore growth and profitability. This appointment will now provide an opportunity for a new owner to carry the Cue and Veronika Maine brands forward.

‘We want to acknowledge the efforts of all the staff during a challenging period and thank them for their continuing support of these great Australian fashion brands.’

Hilco poached Melanie Remai from rival womenswear company Trenery – owned by Country Road Group – to oversee Cue Clothing Co as chief executive in August 2025.

She resigned last week after only 18 months in the role. Chief financial officer Josephine Barbaro also resigned in the same week.

The company’s loans have been refinanced through Hilco on terms that extend to July 2027.

Hilco Capital had listed Cue Clothing for sale through FTI Consulting in August.

It claimed Cue’s sales were expected to reach $128.7million in the 2026 financial year.

Pete Hegseth Gets Lifeline as Impeachment Threats Mount

0

Trump supporters attending the GOP midterm convention in Dallas dismissed Democratic calls to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth, though the political landscape could look very different after November’s elections.

Republicans currently control the House, leaving Democrats without the votes needed to impeach Hegseth.

That equation could shift in January if Democrats retake the House in the midterm elections. Control of the chamber would allow them to pursue impeachment proceedings against the Trump administration’s top Pentagon official.

Even so, removing Hegseth from office would require support from two-thirds of the Senate.

The prospect comes as recent surveys indicate Democrats are entering the midterms with an advantage.

A CBS News/YouGov poll released Sunday put Democrats ahead of Republicans by 54 percent to 46 percent on the generic congressional ballot. Other national polls have likewise shown Democrats with a lead.

Micki Larson-Olson, an Iraq War veteran who attended the January 6 protest, argued that Democrats lacked the authority to remove Hegseth. Larson-Olson was arrested after defying police orders to leave the Capitol grounds, spent 161 days in jail and was later pardoned by President Donald Trump.

‘The Demonrats can’t do bit, diddley s***. You know why? Because they don’t have the power,’ she said.

Micki Larson-Olson, who was pardoned by President Trump after her January 6 arrest, said the “demonrats” could not do “bit, diddley s***” to impeach Secretary Hegseth.

House Democrats are pressing Congress to impeach and remove Hegseth, citing concerns over civilian casualties, military readiness and Pentagon transparency.

One attendee argued that Democrats were using Hegseth as a target because they were united more by opposition to Trump than by a single political agenda

One attendee argued that Democrats were using Hegseth as a target because they were united more by opposition to Trump than by a single political agenda

‘They can’t impeach s***. You have to have justification. You have to prove that he broke our Constitution or whatever.’

Larson-Olson compared the effort with the impeachment proceedings brought against Trump, adding: ‘Look how many times they tried to impeach President Trump. They’re always putting in impeachment paperwork for President Trump.’

Her comments reflected a broader lack of concern among Trump supporters gathered in Dallas, with several saying the impeachment push would do little to change their view of Hegseth.

Joanne Chen Bryant said she was similarly unconcerned.

‘Democrats want to impeach everybody,’ she said. ‘So, you know, the fact that they want to impeach him doesn’t really hold too much water for me.’

Bryant said she trusted Hegseth because of his military background and the sensitive information available to him as secretary.

‘I know Pete’s background, and I know he’s a highly intelligent person,’ she said. ‘He has access to deeply secret and intelligent information that isn’t open to the regular citizen like me. And I trust him.’

Another attendee, Tracy, dismissed the effort as simply part of the political process.

‘Isn’t that what Democrats do, is impeach people? Or try to?’ she said. ‘I’m not concerned about it. Just another legal process to waste time and money on.’

Rusty Ramgopal went further, arguing that Democrats were increasingly defined by their opposition to Trump.

‘I think the Democrats are saying that because they really don’t know what they’re about other than simply opposition to Trump or the Trump administration,’ he said.

‘The only thing that Democrats agree on is that they hate Donald Trump and hate the people around Donald Trump.’

Ramgopal also argued that impeachment had become too partisan.

‘Impeachment is a constitutional process. It’s a legal process, constitutional process, and sadly it’s been cheapened into a partisan political process in the modern day,’ he said.

Democrats introduced six articles of impeachment against Hegseth in April, led by Arizona Representative Yassamin Ansari.

The resolution accuses him of, among other allegations, directing an unauthorized war against Iran, violating the law of armed conflict, mishandling sensitive military information, obstructing congressional oversight and abusing his office.

The articles also accuse Hegseth of conduct that allegedly brought disrepute upon the United States and its armed forces. The resolution was referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

But the effort has done little to unsettle the Trump supporters who gathered in Dallas last week, who largely portrayed the impeachment push as another partisan fight between the Trump administration and its Democratic opponents.

DTF St. Louis Season 2: Will HBO Renew the Reality Series?

0

The Emmys celebrate television at its finest, and TV’s biggest night made room to honor Steven Conrad’s DTF St. Louis with a major haul of awards.

Led by Jason Bateman, Linda Cardellini, and David Harbour, HBO’s acclaimed dark comedy-drama centers on an undeniably strange yet engrossing love triangle. A favorite among Team Decider, the series received 13 Emmy nominations and won Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Cinematography, and Outstanding Directing.

Cardellini and Harbour also took home acting trophies for Outstanding Supporting Actress and Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series. Harbour prevailed over fellow DTF St. Louis cast members Bateman and Richard Jenkins, while Cardellini edged out Joy Sunday, who played Jodie Plumb in the HBO series.

DTF St. Louis is currently streaming on HBO Max, but its Emmy success naturally raises a bigger question: Is DTF St. Louis Season 2 possible? Here’s what has been said so far.

How Many Episodes Are There In DTF St. Louis?

HBO’s awards-season standout runs for seven episodes.

Will There Be a Season 2 of DTF St. Louis on HBO?

DTF St. Louis was conceived as a miniseries, meaning a traditional second season is not currently expected. Still, that does not entirely rule out the possibility of the story continuing in another form. The operative word, for now, is possibility.

The first season brings the story of Clark, Floyd, and Carol to a close. However, during an April interview with GQ, creator Steven Conrad was asked whether he might revisit the eccentric universe of DTF St. Louis. The interviewer said they would gladly watch more of Richard Jenkins and Joy Sunday “talking sex and solving cases.”

“Well, there’s a new instrument now: the White Lotus instrument,” Conrad said when discussing the prospect of another season. “It’s similar themes and a different setting. A DTF anthology would be sex and violence, and if you had to pick two things as a writer to be restricted to, sex and violence are pretty good. There’s extended possibilities and infinite results, so I could do it.”

For the moment, HBO has not announced new episodes of DTF St. Louis. But Conrad’s comments leave the door open for an anthology-style continuation somewhere down the line.

How To Watch DTF St. Louis on HBO Max:

You can watch DTF St. Louis on HBO Max.

If you’re new to HBO Max, you can sign up for as low as $10.99/month with ads, but an ad-free subscription will cost $18.49/month.

If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the discounted Disney+ Bundles with Hulu and HBO Max. With ads, the bundle costs $19.99/month and without ads, $32.99/month.

You can also add HBO Max to your Prime Video account for an additional $10.99 or $18.49/month.

DTF St. Louis is now streaming on HBO Max.

Finance Boss Awarded £118,000 After Dispute Over £30,000 Bonus

0

A senior finance executive dismissed after challenging his £30,000 annual bonus has been awarded more than £118,000 in compensation.

Andrew Blyth lost his £120,000-a-year role as a director in what an employment tribunal found was a “redundancy sham”, following a bitter dispute over his bonus.

The accountant had told company owner Courtenay Morison that he considered his bonus for the year unfair and believed it should have been substantially higher.

A tribunal heard that Mr Blyth’s yearly bonuses were typically worth about £30,000.

Mr Morison, the chairman and director of successful removals company Clockwork, became “disgruntled and upset” by the complaints and subsequently removed Mr Blyth through what was found to be a false redundancy process.

On the morning before Mr Blyth was forced out of the business, Mr Morison had even searched online for “Legitimate Reasons for Director Redundancy”.

At an Edinburgh employment tribunal in Scotland, Mr Blyth was awarded £118,223 after succeeding in his unfair dismissal claim.

Mr Blyth, who is based in Edinburgh, had served as Group Finance Director at Clockwork Group Holdings until his dismissal in December 2025.

Andrew Blyth (pictured) was sacked from his £ 120,000-a-year finance director job in a 'redundancy sham' after he became embroiled in a bitter row over his £30,000 bonus

Andrew Blyth (pictured) was dismissed from his £120,000-a-year finance director position in a “redundancy sham” after becoming involved in a bitter dispute over his £30,000 bonus.

The accountant told company owner Courtenay Morison (pictured) that he didn't think his bonus was 'fair' for the year and that it should have been much higher.

The accountant told Clockwork owner Courtenay Morison (pictured) that he did not believe his bonus for the year was fair and felt it should have been considerably higher.

Clockwork describes itself as ‘one of the leading UK removals and storage companies’.

In November 2025, Mr Blyth had emailed Mr Morison about his views on the calculations of his bonus for that year, saying that it was ‘unfair’ and should be much higher.

Mr Blyth’s annual salary was £120,000, and his general annual bonus was around £30,000 a year.

After Mr Blyth said that they were not going to ‘completely agree’ because they had already discussed this issue, Mr Morison said that they had agreed the bonus 12 months ago.

Mr Morison said: ‘No that is not right or fair. We agreed the bonus 12 months ago. I’m not changing what was agreed back then.

‘You’d be furious if I changed the goal posts if the other way round.

‘I’m becoming more disgruntled/upset with your attitude to what you perceive to be right and fair. I think you need to seriously look at your position.’

Mr Morison then completely cut contact with Mr Blyth until six days later, even though they would normally have contact most days.

He invited Mr Blyth to a meeting, which lasted five minutes, and he said that he was making him redundant.

On the morning, just a few hours before the meeting, Mr Morison sent messages to HR saying he had researched ‘legitimate reasons for director redundancy’.

Giving evidence at the tribunal, Mr Morison said that he had been thinking about making Mr Blyth redundant for months because the company could no longer afford to keep his position.

However, Employment Judge Jacqueline McCluskey said that he could not have been thinking about the redundancy for months as he had only searched the redundancy the morning of his meeting with Mr Blyth.

She said: ‘His evidence was that he had been thinking about doing so for a period of months.

‘His evidence was that this was because there were three qualified accountants in the accounts team, the accounts team was top heavy and by making [his] post redundant he could make a saving of over £148,000.’

She ruled that Mr Blyth had been unfairly dismissed because Mr Morison had acted in ‘bad faith’ by trying to ‘dress up the dismissal as redundancy’ when he was annoyed about him trying to renegotiate his bonus.

Judge McCluskey said: ‘The Tribunal concluded that the operative reason in the mind of Mr Morison when he dismissed [Mr Blyth] was his disgruntlement and upset at [his] attitude in the email exchange with Mr Morison that his bonus was unfair and should be revised upwards.

‘Mr Morison’s emails were abrupt and forthright. Mr Morison said himself that he was disgruntled and upset. There had been no further contact from Mr Morison. That was unusual.

‘That is not to say that Mr Morison might not have had in his mind on the morning of December 10, 2025 how to dress up a dismissal for that reason as a redundancy.

‘That does not mean that the operative reason in the mind of Mr Morison when he dismissed [him] on 10 December 2025 was redundancy.

‘In reaching this conclusion the Tribunal was also mindful that there was no documentary evidence that redundancy or potential redundancy of [his] position had been in Mr Morison’s mind for months as he asserted.

‘The only documentary evidence provided showed that it was only a couple of hours before [his] dismissal meeting that Mr Morison had carried out an online search about “Legitimate Reasons for Director Redundancy”.

‘The absence of any documentary evidence prior to the dismissal date was a factor which the Tribunal weighed in the balance when concluding it was more likely that Mr Morison had not been thinking about making [his] role redundant for months.’

Mr Blyth found employment in 2026, but he earns a lesser salary than he did.

It was ruled that the company should pay £118,223 in compensation to cover his financial losses during unemployment and his future losses.

Tuesday Storms Give Way to Dry, Breezy Weather Wednesday

0

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida faces another day of scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, but a notable midweek weather change will bring drier conditions, stronger winds and increasingly dangerous beach conditions beginning Wednesday.

Ample tropical moisture remains over the region Tuesday. Rain and storm coverage is expected to reach 50% to 60%, especially inland and west of Interstate 95 after noon as the sea breeze shifts activity westward.

Afternoon temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s, while humidity pushes heat index readings to a sweltering 100 to 107 degrees.

Wednesday & Thursday

A substantially drier air mass is forecast to arrive across Central Florida on Wednesday.

As that air moves in, rain chances will fall for much of the region. A few showers may still develop along the coast and drift inland, however.

Thursday may follow a similar pattern, with the drier conditions possibly holding on longer across northern parts of Central Florida.

Despite the changing rain pattern, daytime highs will remain close to seasonal norms, topping out in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees.

Coastal Hazards

Winds, meanwhile, are set to become much more noticeable.

East-northeast winds are expected to strengthen to 15 to 20 mph or more on Wednesday, with gusts potentially reaching 25 to 30 mph.

The stronger onshore flow will create rough surf, hazardous conditions for boaters and a high risk of rip currents along the coast. The elevated rip current threat is expected to remain in place through Thursday.

Weekend

The unsettled pattern returns late week as moisture increases again, bringing higher rain chances area-wide (60-70%) Friday through Monday.

Temperatures will remain seasonally warm, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.

Hunter Biden Mocks Don Jr. and Bettina Anderson Over Russian Oligarch

0

Hunter Biden mocked Donald Trump Jr. and his new wife, Bettina, over their lavish wedding celebration, which was partly financed by a Russian oligarch the couple has described as a “dear friend.”

The Trumps acknowledged Tuesday that Umar Kremlev, a friend of Vladimir Putin, had contributed to the cost of their nuptials after reports emerged a day earlier.

Bettina Trump responded to the speculation Monday by sharing a collection of previously unseen wedding photographs and referring to the Russian national as “our dear friend Umar.”

Hunter Biden, who has previously accused the other president’s son, Don Jr., of corruption, seized on the controversy in a social media post aimed at the newly married couple.

“Don Jr needed a Russian oligarch, two islands, and a fireworks show,” he wrote. “I got married on the rooftop of an apartment building in West Hollywood. It was so much cooler.”

His post included a photograph of Biden holding Melissa Cohen, whom he married in 2019, within 10 days of their first meeting.

The South African activist wed Hunter in Los Angeles on May 16 that year, only weeks after reports said he had ended his two-year relationship with Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau, in April.

Don Jr., the eldest son of the current president, married the 39-year-old socialite at a Palm Beach ceremony in late May before the couple traveled to the Caribbean for an upscale reception.

Hunter Biden took aim at Donald Trump Jr. and new wife Bettina over their costly wedding party, which was funded in part by the Russian oligarch they call their “dear friend.”

Bettina Trump addressed the rumors about who paid for her May wedding party and posted never-before-seen photos on Instagram on Monday

Bettina Trump addressed questions over who paid for her May wedding celebration, posting never-before-seen photographs on Instagram on Monday.

Donald Trump did not attend the wedding, citing national security responsibilities as the war with Iran escalated. Tensions in the Middle East also forced the couple to dramatically scale back their White House wedding plans.

Kremlev, a wealthy oligarch and friend of Russian President Putin, partially funded the couple’s nuptials, according to a report on Monday.

He allegedly helped the Trumps financially, including the rent of private island Little Pipe Key, paying for a fireworks show and hundreds of thousands of dollars in other expenses.

Kremlev’s team also planned the wedding party, according to nonprofit news site ProPublica.

Bettina said Kremlev ‘very generously hosted two incredible nights of celebrations for us’ before making clear that the party he paid for was ‘after our wedding.’

The couple had 18 guests at the ceremony and 50 people at the reception.

She ended the fiery statement by telling her followers: ‘Friendship doesn’t require a political motive. Generosity doesn’t automatically come with an agenda.’

Bettina wrote on Instagram on Monday: ‘Don and I got married privately on Friday, surrounded ONLY by our family.

‘It was intimate, deeply personal and one of the most beautiful days of our lives.

‘The weekend that followed had actually been planned well in advance as a fun weekend with friends.

‘It was never intended to be our wedding weekend. When our original wedding plans changed, we simply decided to get married before it and arrived at an already planned weekend as newlyweds.

‘Our dear friend Umar very generously hosted two incredible nights of celebrations for us AFTER our wedding. It was an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend, and something for which we were and remain incredibly grateful.

‘It’s unfortunate that something so personal and happy can be recast as something political or sinister simply because of who someone is or where they come from. Friendship doesn’t require a political motive. Generosity doesn’t automatically come with an agenda. And sometimes a wedding gift is simply a wedding gift.

‘We are fortunate to have wonderful friends from all over the world, and we will never be embarrassed or apologetic about being grateful for them.

‘So, for anyone determined not to let the facts get in the way of a good story: NO CONSPIRACY, NO MYSTERY. Just a private family wedding, a wonderful weekend with friends and one hell of a party.

‘And since fake news travels fast, we figured the truth deserved a few pictures.’

She signed off the post with the caption: ‘With love and gratitude, Don & Bettina.’

The couple celebrated their wedding with Don Jr’s siblings, Eric, 42, and Ivanka, 44, who went with them to the Bahamas.

A spokesperson for Eric said in a statement he ‘has absolutely no clue who this person is, nor has he ever heard his name.’

The revelation of the Russian businessman bankrolling Don Jr’s lavish wedding afterparties is now drawing scrutiny from House Oversight Democrats.

The couple’s marriage certificate, obtained by the Daily Mail, shows that they officially became husband and wife in a secret ceremony held at the West Palm Beach home of Bettina’s sister, Kristina McPherson.

The model said she would be taking the Trump surname.

The private island where the couple celebrated has a private airstrip with its own customs clearance for the private jet crowd and is described as a ‘members only sanctuary’ for visitors enjoying the villa estates and private yacht facilities.

Personalized butler services are another hallmark, along with the pristine and uncrowded beaches.

The only way to get there is by a chartered plane or boat. Once there, accommodation costs at least $1,400 per person per night, ensuring maximum discretion.

Although one distinguishing factor may not be to the couple’s taste, especially considering the war on drug cartels being waged by the father of the groom.

The tiny island once served as the headquarters of drug warlord Pablo Escobar’s Medellin cartel, with his kingpin Carlos Lehder using it as a smuggling base between 1978 and 1982.

Their private nuptials come after the couple had initially pushed their wedding date to the fall, fearing a blowout wedding bash during the Iran conflict would hand critics an easy shot at Don Jr’s father.

But with no end to the war in sight, the couple opted not to keep waiting, instead holding a smaller wedding in Palm Beach followed by an island celebration for close family and friends over Memorial Day weekend.

A source previously said at the time: ‘They’re waiting for the right moment because of what’s happening in the world.’

Another insider revealed just before the Caribbean ceremony: ‘Bettina and Don Jr are very anxious to maintain secrecy over this. They had the engagement at Camp David, which was really controlled. And they want to maintain that level of control with the wedding.

‘I think this is something they just want to get through, get it done. So they can get on with their lives, move on to the next chapters for all the things they want to achieve.’

The couple got engaged in December 2025 – exactly a year after the Daily Mail’s explosive photos of them coming out of a Palm Beach restaurant holding hands before they went public.

This was incontrovertible proof of our earlier exclusive revelation that they were indeed a newly-minted item, despite Don Jr still being officially engaged to fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The Daily Mail reached out to Don Jr for comment and has not heard back.

Mikayla Matthews Announces Emotional Exit From ‘SLOMW’

Season five of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered on Hulu on September 10.

The new season is already drawing major attention, but the SLOMW fandom was hit with an unexpected development tonight.

Star Mikayla Matthews announced that she is leaving the Hulu reality series.

“I made my decision over a week ago, after hearing some news, that I will not be continuing the show at this moment ❤️,” Mikayla, 26, wrote on Instagram.

“I’ve said from the beginning of this that I’m not comfortable being a part of something that continues to platform behavior I don’t agree [with], especially given my own experience growing up in a home with multiple forms of abuse,” she continued. “There’s no amount of money worth going against my morals or changing the stance I’ve had since I first saw and heard the things that made me feel this strongly.”

Mikayla went on to say, “And for me personally, continuing to directly profit from this behavior feels wrong and unethical. It feels like a disservice to the children, everyone’s healing and the millions of people watching.”

Although Mikayla did not name her costar Taylor Frankie Paul, her statement appeared to suggest that Taylor’s continued presence on the show was behind her decision to leave.

As fans of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives know, footage showing Taylor physically attacking Dakota during a 2023 altercation surfaced this year.

“This show has been a huge part of my life and has helped me provide for my family,” Mikayla concluded. “I’m so grateful for the experience, and will continue sharing my story, my health and advocating for myself and others ❤️ this shouldn’t be “relatable” or entertainment in anyway. Supporting an ADULT doesn’t mean constantly making excuses for toxic behavior while giving unconditional sympathy and grace with zero accountability or change. I was in that enabling cycle for years, and I’m not going to be a part of that again!🫶🏼 love you all.”

Taylor, 32, has yet to comment on Mikayla’s departure announcement.
