Are Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor Leaving SLOMW? Conner Leavitt Speaks

0

Are Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor leaving Secret Lives of Mormon Wives? Conner Leavitt addresses the rumors.

Conner Leavitt says he has not heard anything confirming the speculation.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast member responded to reports suggesting that fellow Hulu stars Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor could depart the reality series following season six.

“That’s news to me, if that’s true,” Leavitt exclusively told E! News’ Will Marfuggi after being eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on Sept. 15. “I don’t know if that’s actually true. Whatever people decide, it’s up to them.”

One departure has already been confirmed: his costar Mikayla Matthews announced on Sept. 14 that she was leaving the show.

“I can’t imagine that was an easy decision for Mikayla,” Leavitt told E!. “She’s been a part of MomTok and Secret Lives since the beginning. So, for her to make that decision, it means to me that it must be really important to her, and I’m really proud of her for standing up for whatever she believes in.”

The 32-year-old, who is married to Whitney Leavitt, added, “But at the end of the day, I’m going to miss her. I’m going to miss Mikayla. I’m sure the audience is going to miss Mikayla. But I just wish nothing but the best for her and her family.”

3 Dead After Los Angeles News Helicopter Crashes in Commercial Area

0

At least three people were killed and a fourth was hospitalized after a helicopter believed to be operated by a news organization crashed Tuesday evening in Los Angeles, officials said.

The helicopter went down shortly before 7 p.m. between two commercial buildings at 9151 N. Mason Ave. in Chatsworth, prompting a response from 56 Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters.

LAFD Capt. Branden Silverman said the aircraft appeared to be a news helicopter, though he did not identify the outlet connected to it.

Fire officials evaluated four people at the crash site. Three were declared dead, while another person was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition, the department said.

Silverman said one victim was a pedestrian in the parking lot. It was not immediately clear whether the remaining victims were inside the helicopter or were on the ground when it crashed.

The impact ignited a fire that damaged four vehicles and two storage containers. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and no nearby buildings were threatened, according to the LAFD.

Authorities had not yet said how many people were aboard the helicopter.

Conner Leavitt Eliminated in Shocking Dancing With the Stars Premiere Night Exit

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 35 has begun with an early upset.

Conner Leavitt and professional partner Adele Zaikman were eliminated in a surprising result at the close of Tuesday night’s episode, which launched the first half of the two-night Season 35 premiere.

“This has been the most fun. I have the greatest dance partner in the world in Adele. I can’t wait for the world to get to see her talent,” Leavitt said after the elimination. His wife, “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt, finished in fifth place on the show last season.

Zaikman, who secured her first-season pro spot by winning “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro,” described the opportunity to perform in the ballroom as “a dream come true.”

Before announcing the eliminated pair, co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro named two additional couples facing possible elimination: “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” personality Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson, along with comedian Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold.

Leavitt received 12 out of 30 points for his Salsa with Zaikman to Tag Team’s “Whoop! There It Is.” The “Premiere: Night One” theme had the male celebrity contestants dance to a song that reached No. 1 in the year they were born.

“Glee” star Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson led the night’s leaderboard, collecting 21 out of 30 for their Cha Cha set to Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove.”

Paralympic gold medalist Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach were close behind with 20 out of 30, earned for a Tango to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.”

“Bachelor Nation” alum Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess followed with 17 out of 30 for their Tango to Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” During the performance, judge Derek Hough humorously referred to Cameron as “Dylan.”

Connor Wood and Arnold scored 16 out of 30 with their Cha Cha to Tim McGraw’s “I Like It, I Love It.” Musician Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart matched that total, receiving 16 out of 30 for a Quickstep to Billy Joel’s “Tell Her About It.”

Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson and partner Emma Slater earned a 15/30 for their Cha Cha to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls while Rodriguez and partner Carson’s Cha Cha to Jean Knight’s “Mr. Big Stuff” earned them a 10/30 — the lowest score of the night.

Heading into the premiere, Carson gushed about her partnership with Rodriguez, telling Page Six in an exclusive interview that Jimmy Kimmel’s beloved sidekick “is everything you want him to be.”

“He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he’s down for everything, while being naturally funny and open,” she added. “He’s a great person to have in the ballroom because we laugh and have so much fun, but he’s also such a hard worker. He is putting in the work and shows up ready to learn every day.”

Carson also admitted that “there was definitely come hesitation in agreeing to do this season” while pregnant with her third child, but that the challenge has kept her working hard” and is “pushing” her in all the right ways.

“This season I’m all about empowerment, for myself and for other women, because we can do anything,” she explained. “One of my biggest priorities for this season is to show all moms that we don’t have to lose parts of ourselves to grow a family.”

“DWTS” continues Wednesday night as the female celebrities and their pro partners take to the floor during “Premiere: Night Two.” The ladies will also be performing a chart-topper from their birth year.

Following this week’s two-night premiere event, new episodes of “DWTS” will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and streaming on Hulu the following day.

Sam Newman Backs Pauline Hanson Over Comments on Indigenous Australians

0

Former AFL player Sam Newman has defended Pauline Hanson after the One Nation leader described Indigenous Australians as “the most primitive race on Earth” in an interview.

Hanson made the comments during an appearance on the Jamie J Podcast last year, which was co-hosted by former Liberal candidate and News24 presenter Jaimee Rodgers.

Referring to a discussion with a Western Australian teacher, Hanson argued that schools placed too much focus on Indigenous studies.

She then broadened her criticism of Indigenous Australians, claiming they had made little contribution to the country despite living on the continent for 60,000 years, before saying: “They’re the most primitive race on Earth.”

After the footage resurfaced this week, Hanson issued a qualified apology on Tuesday, saying: “If I offended people by using that (term, ‘primitive’), yes, I will apologise for that.”

However, Newman called Hanson’s comments “extremely fair” while speaking with Melbourne Underground Film Festival director Richard Wolstencroft on his You Cannot Be Serious podcast.

When Wolstencroft raised the controversy, Newman backed Hanson’s position, saying: “Extremely fair about the Indigenous people being primitive.”

The former AFL star added: “Well, how could you possibly not say that?”

The discussion then moved from Hanson’s comments to Newman’s point of view.

‘It’s not necessarily decrying or degrading or defiling Aboriginals, but like a lot of white people, they are basically a lazy and idle race,’ he said.

Newman anticipated criticism of that statement, saying it would be interpreted as him calling Aboriginal people lazy and idle.

‘So are plenty of white people and there’s plenty of success stories in the Aboriginal community and good on them,’ he added.

He also claimed there was ‘not one tangible thing’ to show for 60,000 years of Aboriginal culture and argued Indigenous Australians had not contributed to building the nation structurally.

That claim overlooks documented Indigenous engineering. For example, UNESCO’s World Heritage listing for the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape describes Gunditjmara channels, weirs and dams developed over at least 6,600 years to trap, store and harvest eels.

Newman also criticised Welcome to Country ceremonies, including the one held before the NFL game at the MCG.

‘It is just showboating,’ he said. ‘It is absolutely gratuitous nonsense.’

Later, he urged people to withhold applause at sporting events.

‘Don’t boo as I suggested and don’t necessarily turn your back on it. Just don’t applaud,’ he said.

Newman also explicitly declared his political support for the One Nation leader during the episode, saying: ‘Well, I’m a Hanson supporter.’

The defence of Hanson comes amid criticism of her original remarks from Labor, Liberal and crossbench figures.

In the resurfaced interview, Hanson questioned the value of teaching Aboriginal culture and language, claiming Indigenous Australians had ‘achieved nothing’.

On Tuesday, she said hurting people had not been her intention and acknowledged she was ‘not the most eloquent speaker’.

Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, whom Newman praised as a ‘fine person’ during his podcast, was among those who condemned Hanson’s remarks.

‘She did absolutely demonstrate wilful ignorance because there’s a hell of a lot more to Australia’s first people than simply what her remarks suggest,’ Price said.

‘I don’t care what excuses are being made. It was her tone and inflection throughout those remarks.’

Indigenous Affairs Minister Malarndirri McCarthy also rejected Hanson’s comments.

‘Those comments were completely baseless. They harm. They dehumanise First Nations people in Australia,’ she said.

Helicopter Crashes, Bursts Into Flames Near Bus Crash Scene

0

Three people were killed when an NBC news helicopter crashed between two buildings near the site of a fatal bus collision in Los Angeles.

The aircraft went down shortly before 7pm Tuesday in a parking lot between two warehouses near the intersection of Northoff Street and DeSoto Avenue in Chatsworth. The crash occurred close to where an SUV had struck a bus earlier that evening.

The earlier bus crash left two people dead and six others injured.

The helicopter appeared to have come to rest atop two shipping containers and several vehicles parked in the area.

The crash sparked a large fire that threatened four nearby vehicles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

After crews extinguished the flames, firefighters were seen putting up a canopy over at least one body.

Authorities said the three victims included the helicopter’s two occupants and a pedestrian on the ground. Another person was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The Fire Department said four vehicles and two storage containers were damaged by the blaze.

The helicopter came down near the intersection of Northoff Street and DeSoto Avenue in Chatsworth shortly before 7pm on Tuesday.

Following the crash, a longtime NBC 4 Los Angeles anchor confirmed that the chopper was a ‘television news helicopter,’ noting: ‘We are not in contact with our television news helicopter.’

‘We have lost contact with our people,’ Colleen Williams said through tears.

She later confirmed that the news helicopter was from NBC Los Angeles, before the news station took a break to process the information.

LA Fire Department Captain Branden Silverman had earlier told reporters on the scene that the helicopter is ‘pretty well destroyed.’

The crash came as local media outlets rushed to get aerial footage of the fatal bus crash, showing people running away from the scene as police cruisers sped toward the fiery explosion.

It appeared the bus was crossing the intersection at around 5pm when the SUV T-boned it, sending both vehicles onto the curb, ABC 7 reports.

Authorities are now looking into the possibility that one of the vehicles ran a red light.

Three people were killed at the scene, while others were rushed to local hospitals. The extent of the victims’ injuries remains unclear.

One of those killed was reportedly ejected from the bus, while the others were said to have been onboard the city bus.

An LA Urban Search and Rescue Team was also seen extricating multiple people from the bus, with at least one person found stuck underneath the vehicle, KTLA reports.

She was eventually freed and quickly loaded into an ambulance in unknown condition with what crews on the scene described as ‘crushing’ injuries.’

Soon after the bus crash, images emerged showing the front half of the Ford SUV embedded in the side of the Metro bus.

When the vehicle was then removed, a gaping hole was visible in the bus’s side, according to the Los Angeles Times.

At the height of the response, there were 56 Fire Department personnel on scene, spokesperson Jennifer Middleton told the LA Times.

The intersection where the two fatal crashes occurred will now be closed for ‘quite some time,’ she noted.

In a brief statement, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said she is ‘absolutely devastated by the loss of life in Chatsworth tonight.

‘My heart is with the families and loved ones of those we lost in the tragic bus collision and helicopter crash,’ she posted on social media. ‘My heart is with the families and loved ones of those we lost in the tragic bus collision and helicopter crash.

‘I’m grateful to the city teams who responded so quickly,’ she added, as she urged the public to ‘please stay clear of the are as public safety officials remain on scene.’

Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the helicopter crash.

LeBron James Revives Taco Tuesday With Mike’s Red Tacos

0

LeBron James is still making the most of “Taco Tuesday.”

Seven years after his bid to trademark the popular phrase was rejected, James shared a video showing himself enthusiastically working through at least three plates of tacos.

The clip opened with James appearing subdued as he told viewers, “Hey, y’all I’m just chilling here, relaxing. And you know, I’m not really having a good day,” before quickly flipping the mood with a loud, “Sike!”

“You know what today is. It’s Taco Tuesday,” James said.

He then celebrated with a scream that rang out through Mike’s Red Tacos, a San Diego taco restaurant preparing to open a new Pasadena location.

James’ trademark application was denied because “Taco Tuesday” was deemed too common a phrase to be owned by one party.

According to ESPN, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruled that the requested mark was “a commonplace term, message, or expression widely used by a variety of sources that merely conveys an ordinary, familiar, well-recognized concept or sentiment message.”

The USPTO also told James’ trademark company that “Taco Tuesday” is “a widely used message” employed by different parties to promote tacos and celebrate the food on a designated day of the week.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that James sought the trademark largely to protect himself from potential legal action over his use of the phrase.

James has long made Taco Tuesday a recurring feature on social media, previously posting videos of himself and his family enjoying tacos together.

“I love tacos, and I especially love how they bring people together to create traditions and share great moments around the table with family and friends,” James said in a statement released by Fox 5 in San Diego. “In addition to having an incredible taco, Mike’s Red Tacos bring those same values to life in a fresh, new way for consumers.”

While James has been enjoying his time on a fun trip down memory lane, it comes before new beginnings, as he is just two weeks away from joining his new team, the Philadelphia 76ers, for NBA training camp, after he signed with them this past July on a two-year, $8 million deal that includes a player option.

James spent the last eight years of his career with the Lakers, where he averaged 25.9 points, 7.9 assists, and 7.7 rebounds during his Los Angeles tenure.

During the 2019-2020 NBA season, James led the Lakers to their 17th title in franchise history, where he was crowned Finals MVP after averaging 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.

Injured Climber Crawls Overnight to Safety After 500-Foot California Fall

0

A San Jose climber seriously hurt in a 500-foot fall on Northern California’s Mount Shasta survived a harrowing overnight trek, crawling to a secluded cabin before search crews located him the next day, forest officials said Friday.

The unidentified man had reached the summit Thursday night in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest when he began descending Avalanche Gulch, a notoriously steep route covered in snow and ice. Officials said he lost control while attempting to slide down the mountain.

“The climber told rescuers that he had attempted to glissade down the mountain, lost control, and slid approximately 500 feet. During his fall, he sustained several significant lacerations and injuries to his feet,” Forest Service officials said.

His cellphone ran out of power soon after he reached the summit, leaving him unable to call for help, authorities said.

With painful swelling setting in after the fall, the injured Mount Shasta climber took off his boots and, according to officials, “crawled through the night” along the rest of Avalanche Gulch until he reached Horse Camp Cabin.

When friends could not reach him the following day, they reported him missing to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office.

By 2 p.m. Friday, multiple agencies had deployed rescue personnel and air support to search the Avalanche Gulch area, officials said.

About two hours into the search, crews learned that a hiker had entered Horse Camp Cabin and discovered the climber inside.

Officials praised the climber for knowing the route, notifying friends of his plans and making his way to Horse Camp Cabin. (U.S. Forest Service / Shasta-Trinity National Forest)

Officials used the incident to remind hikers to allow plenty of daylight for their hikes, establish a turnaround time around noon, carry backup electronics and be prepared to self-rescue.

“The climber did his best to self-rescue despite significant injuries, and knew his route well enough without a map, to find his way back to the Horse Camp Cabin. Never rely solely on a GPS or phone to navigate – if those devices stop working, your own navigation skills will be critical in ensuring a safe return home,” officials said.

They further commended the climber for notifying his friends of his whereabouts before he went missing.

“The climber wisely notified his friends of his plan to climb Mount Shasta and made a point to check in and provide progress updates. When he lost contact, his friends contacted law enforcement to report him overdue and traveled to help with the search effort. It is always advisable to notify at least one person of your itinerary,” officials said.

The rescue team was assisted by the Mount Shasta Climbing Rangers, Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, and a California Highway Patrol helicopter crew.

The incident marks the latest rescue operation in the Northern California forest, where rescue teams respond to numerous incidents annually.

According to the mountain’s website, the route to the summit via Avalanche Gulch is steep and rigorous, requiring proper equipment and snow-travel skills.

Last September, three novice hikers were stranded overnight in a steep canyon after heavily relying on AI for information about the routes.

In late June, another 31-year-old novice climber was flown to a hospital after slipping and falling 1,500 feet.

Stephen King Shares His Thoughts on Prime Video’s Carrie Series

0

Mike Flanagan’s upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s “Carrie” brings the classic tale of a bullied teenage girl with telekinetic powers into the modern era. Prime Video already unveiled footage from the series at San Diego Comic-Con, and now King himself has weighed in on Flanagan’s new interpretation of his 1974 novel.

The horror icon offered emphatic praise for the miniseries in a post on Threads. “Mike Flanagan’s version of CARRIE is brilliant. What it has to say about social media is shocking and true,” King wrote.

Flanagan is no stranger to King’s work, having previously adapted “Doctor Sleep” and “The Life of Chuck.” Their established creative relationship may make King’s support less surprising, but the author’s unreserved reaction remains an encouraging sign for fans awaiting this latest version of “Carrie.”

Social media brings a new element to Carrie’s story

King’s focus on the show’s social media commentary is particularly revealing. Bullying has always been central to Carrie White’s story, and the trailer indicates that the new adaptation will make that cruelty even more immediate through a contemporary online lens. It appears the series will feature a significant social media-driven act of harassment, potentially setting in motion Carrie’s inevitable descent into telekinetic devastation.

Flanagan also has new versions of “The Mist” and “The Dark Tower” headed to television, giving admirers of both filmmakers plenty to anticipate. First, though, audiences will return to the nightmare of Carrie White, played by Summer H. Howell. Her tormentors may be in for an even worse experience than she is, while viewers could have a standout horror event waiting for them this Halloween season.

“Carrie” premieres on Prime Video on October 7, 2026.

Search Intensifies for 3-Year-Old Boy Missing After Playground Visit

0

The search for a partially deaf, non-verbal three-year-old boy who disappeared from a playground in Suffolk has entered a second day.

Officials said at 3am that there had been no confirmed sightings of Noah Woods since he ran ahead of his grandfather and disappeared down an alleyway at about 3pm on Tuesday.

Hundreds of local people joined police in the overnight search across the town of Brantham.

Noah is autistic and is not expected to respond if his name is called. He is white, with curly ginger hair, and was wearing a Bluey cartoon t-shirt, shorts and white trainers when he went missing.

The alleyway where he vanished leads towards a new-build housing estate, a local pond and a railway line.

His great-uncle, Tony Malcolm, who has been helping with the search, described Noah as “a lovely little kid”.

Residents have been asked to check gardens, sheds and outbuildings. A Coastguard helicopter was seen circling the village near the River Stour estuary.

Train passengers travelling between Manningtree and Ipswich were also told services would operate at reduced speeds while searches continued.

Just before midnight, volunteers who joined the hunt were told to go home for the night and rest, but many remained on the streets.

Brantham Parish Council wrote on its Facebook page: ‘We have been completely overwhelmed by the support received from the Brantham community and from visitors from far and wide and our thanks go to the emergency services and all the volunteers who have joined the search so far.

‘The Village Hall will be open all night with toilet facilities and drinks if you need it.

‘The emergency services will be continuing their search throughout the night.’

In a late–night update, they added:  ‘So far there have been no sightings of Noah.

‘The police are continuing their search through the night. They have asked us to let the public know that if you are asked to move by the police this will be to allow them to do specialist work so please be courteous.

‘For all those still searching, the police would like to remind volunteers to take care, travel in pairs, wear high–vis and to keep away from dangerous sites.

‘As a priority please check your own property; in gardens, sheds, under furniture etc.’

Parish council clerk Sarah Keys estimated ‘up to 1,000’ locals had joined the search.

Volunteers from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue used a boat to search Decoy Pond, the local beauty spot Noah was seen running towards.

Police dog units joined the search overnight, and thermal imagine cameras were deployed.

One officer manning the cordon urged the public to allow officers to get on with the job themselves.

He told the Harwich and Manningtree Standard: ‘We have been given information and we want to search this bit with our teams now that we have got the teams here.

‘You’ve got dog units looking for any sort of tracks, and then we’ve got thermal imaging going throughout the wooded area.

‘At this time of night with this light, it’s harder for members of the public – we want to make sure we can do that with all of our equipment we’ve got.

‘The more people we have got in there [in the woodland] the harder it is going to be for us, especially with scents – if there is a scent or a track or anything like that, we don’t want that to be changed in any way.

‘If there are people in there, the thermal imaging is going to pick up them as opposed to obviously all of our goal to find the little man.’

Suffolk Police said anyone with information about Noah’s whereabouts should contact them.

The said: ‘Police are appealing for help to locate a missing three–year–old boy in Brantham.

‘Noah was last seen at approximately 3pm [on] Tuesday 15 September, when he became separated from a relative after visiting the playground in Merriam Close.

A spokesman for HM Coastguard said: ‘We are assisting Suffolk Constabulary with an incident at Brantham by sending an HM Coastguard helicopter and Coastguard Rescue Teams from Felixstowe and Holbrook.’

Karl Stefanovic Reveals Details of His Today Show Axing

0

Karl Stefanovic has shared new details about his departure from the Today show, saying he learned he had been axed in a phone call from his celebrity accountant.

The 52-year-old former television presenter was dismissed by Nine on June 26 after facing fierce criticism over an interview with far-Right activist Tommy Robinson on his podcast.

Speaking on Mark Beretta’s new podcast, Beretts’ Best, alongside former Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch, the media personality discussed the circumstances of his exit and his wife Jasmine’s reaction to the news.

‘I was at Heathrow Airport and I got a call from Anthony Bell [celebrity accountant] who said, “Mate, they’re pulling up stumps and you’re being terminated,”‘ he said.

‘For me, that’s very final. I’ve got a lot to think about. I remember sitting down and just going, “That’s just a lot to take in.”

‘Then I rang my wife who was really upset… I may be accused of being naive, but I don’t do things to deliberately upset people.’

Karl Stefanovic opened up about the details of his axing from the Today show during an appearance on Mark Beretta's new podcast, Beretts' Best, alongside former Sunrise host David 'Kochie' Koch

Karl Stefanovic spoke about his Today show axing while appearing on Mark Beretta’s Beretts’ Best podcast with former Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch.

He added: ‘The effects of my decision making have a multitude of effects on other people. Mainly the people closest to me, that’s the most difficult to navigate.’

Karl also addressed the farewell video he recorded for fans in a London park after being told he was leaving the Nine Network.

‘By that point, I was relieved. I was ready to go. I was ready to leave the show. It wasn’t in the way I wanted, but in the end, I was excited about the future,’ he said.

‘Even with that stuff, and whatever criticism happens, that’s me and that’s how I’m going to handle stuff. I’m never going to pretend to be anything else.’

Karl said he had mentally checked out of his role as Today host months before he was axed, having lost his ‘buzz’ for the job after covering the Bondi shootings.

Fifteen people were killed at Bondi Beach on December 14 during an antisemitic and Islamic State-inspired terrorist attack during the Chanukah by the Sea festival.

Sajid Akram, who was killed by police during the attack, and his son Naveed Akram allegedly shot dead 11 men, three women, and a ten-year-old girl.

‘I was done… After I did Bondi, it was just too much for me,’ he said.

‘That would have been harrowing,’ Kochie, 70, said.

‘I was around very high emotions at Bondi. I’d done it before on many occasions—the Nice terror attack, the Brussels terror attack, the Bali bombings,’ Karl added.

‘There was a series of things that I’d done and I’d always been able to compartmentalise.

‘For some reason, this being my backyard, I knew a lot of the people who lived there, and I was like, “I don’t want to be here doing any more reporting.” I used to love it.’

Karl went on to address the farewell video he filmed for fans while sitting in a London park after learning he was fired from Nine Network.

‘I used to love the hours and hours live on air when you’re doing those things. This is an awful thing to say, but journos do get a buzz out of it,’ he added.

‘I got no buzz no more, and that said a lot about where I was mentally about my future.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Karl went on to throw his support behind One Nation leader Pauline Hanson.

‘She is a force in the country. There is no other way to describe it… She hasn’t changed in 20 years,’ Karl said.

‘That may work against her but I think it’s, at the moment, working for her because she’s been consistent. Don’t like it, don’t vote for it. The woman is doing the miles.

‘I like her personally. I like plenty of people on both sides of politics personally.’

‘That woman means a lot to people at the moment because they feel that they’re not getting heard and she presses the flesh more than anyone else I’ve ever seen,’ he added.

‘It won’t surprise me if she takes it all away.’

It comes just days after Karl’s podcast business partner launched urgent Supreme Court action to stop the former TV star from forcing her out of the venture they built together.

Keshnee Ibrahim filed an application in the Supreme Court on Monday seeking to prevent Karl from removing her as a director of 123 Podcast Pty Ltd, the parent company of The Karl Stefanovic Show, at a meeting scheduled for Friday.

Keshnee is also asking the court to order Karl to buy out her 45 per cent stake in the business at a reasonable market price.

The legal action marks a dramatic escalation in the breakdown between the pair, who launched The Karl Stefanovic Show podcast earlier this year.

The pair are joint major shareholders in the company, which was registered in February, with each holding an equal 45 per cent.

Anthony Bell, Karl’s accountant and business adviser, holds the remaining 10 per cent.

Sources say Keshnee had repeatedly proposed an independent valuation of the business ahead of a potential buyout, but negotiations stalled about a month ago.
