What Is Man Utd Star Mason Greenwood Accused Of? When Is His Trial Date?
Mason Greenwood, a football player for Manchester United, has appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court to answer charges of attempted rape, assault, and coercive behavior.
The 21-year-old striker, who has one England cap, was re-released on bail until a hearing on February 10 of the following year.
His trial was scheduled on November 27, 2023, and it is anticipated that it will last 10 days.

After being charged with attempted rape, assault, and engaging in coercive and controlling behavior, Greenwood, 21, appeared in court for a plea hearing.
He is accused of the same woman on all three counts.
The football player didn’t enter a plea to the allegations; he merely spoke to confirm his identity and birthdate.
Greenwood was granted bail with the same restrictions as before by Judge Maurice Greene.
When Greenwood entered court this morning with the help of family members, he was sporting a dark suit and a hoodie.
As he walked into the structure, he had a glum expression.

At the same court last month, Greenwood was granted bail with the requirements that she not speak to any witnesses, including the complainant, and stay at a Bowdon address on Bow Green Road.
The footballer was initially detained in January in connection with claims involving a young woman after pictures and videos were uploaded online.
He had been released on bail since, but on October 15 he was taken into custody near Trafford for allegedly breaking one of the terms. A few days later, he was released on bail.

The accusation of controlling and coercive behavior refers to a time frame between November 2018 and October of this year, during which Greenwood is alleged to have accessed and monitored the complainant’s social media accounts and made threatening and disparaging comments about her.
The assault charge with actual bodily injury is from December 2021.
At the start of the year, shortly after the claims appeared online, Greenwood was barred from participating in team activities at Old Trafford, including training.
Greenwood’s sponsorship agreement with Nike was put on hold and eventually terminated, and Electronic Arts acknowledged that he had been dropped from the Fifa 22 game’s active squads.
