Kara Alexander: Woman Murdered Two Young Boys Aged Two And Five
The deaths of two young boys were discovered at a home in east London, and here is the first image of the mother who is accused of killing them.
Yesterday, Kara Alexander, 44, was charged with the murder of the two and five-year-old children before Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
She spoke to confirm her name and birthdate while wearing a grey tracksuit and having her hair in her face.
Prior to a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on December 22, Alexander was remanded in custody.

At 2:00 pm on Friday, emergency services were called to a location in Cornwallis Road, Dagenham, where the children’s bodies were found.
Following the controversy surrounding the strip search, a police sergeant was found guilty of gross misconduct.

The hearing, which lasted less than five minutes, was brief and no specifics were provided.
At 2:00 pm on Friday, emergency personnel were rushed to a location in Cornwallis Road, Dagenham, where they found the children’s deaths.
The youngsters were confirmed dead at the scene despite the presence of both cops and the London Ambulance Service.
Specialist officers have notified their family and are still providing support for them.
Formal identifications and post-mortem examinations will be scheduled as soon as possible.

This is definitely an extraordinarily disturbing occurrence with many unresolved issues, Detective Inspector Sean Treweek said earlier this week.
Alexander was detained on Friday in connection with the event, and on Monday, two counts of murder were brought against him.
Over the weekend, a guy who had previously been detained in relation to the incident was let go with no further action.
This is obviously a very upsetting incident with many unanswered questions, but at this very early stage, nobody else is being sought in connection with the deaths, Detective Inspector Sean Treweek said earlier this week.
“I want to thank the community for helping police as they try to determine the full circumstances surrounding these two tragic deaths.
‘They will see additional officers in the area, and anyone with information or concerns should speak with those officers.’
