TV Host Piers Morgan Received Death Threats- What Happened?
A man accused of delivering Piers Morgan death threats reported today that he got another threat; nevertheless, no further action will be taken against him.
The 57-year-old Uncensored host reportedly got texts earlier this year warning him that he was “being assassinated” and declaring that he was “a marked man.”
After that, a 43-year-old man was detained in Manchester on suspicion of threatening to kill someone.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) determined that the case did not pass the evidential requirement for prosecution, though.

There was “clear evidence to indicate that you were the victim of a crime and threats of a serious kind were transmitted to you via social media,” according to a letter Morgan said he had received from the CPS, Morgan alleged.

A statement from the Met said: ‘In May 2022, the case was referred to the Crown Prosecution Service for a charging decision.
‘It decided that the case did not meet the evidential test for prosecution and therefore no further action will be taken against the suspect.’
