Ella Langley’s Friday night concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was canceled after officials received what was described as a “serious security threat.” Tulsa police later said they found no credible threat, and an investigation remains underway.
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer was scheduled to perform at the BOK Center as part of her ongoing Dandelion Tour.
In a video posted to Facebook Friday evening, Tulsa Police Department Capt. Richard Meulenberg said officers conducted a pre-concert sweep of the venue with bomb-detection dogs.
The initial search uncovered no threats, and authorities cleared the concert to go ahead.

Police later received a call warning that people at the event could be seriously injured by gunfire and bombs. Officers returned to the BOK Center and carried out another search with bomb-detection dogs, but again found no credible threat.
Authorities said they told the performers that the additional searches had not identified a credible threat. The performers ultimately made the decision to cancel the show.
A spokesperson said later Friday that the FBI was assisting with the investigation but did not provide additional details.
Langley and the BOK Center announced the cancellation in a statement Friday afternoon, saying a security threat involving the singer and “the safety of fans, venue personnel” had prompted the decision.
“The safety and well-being of everyone is our absolute priority, and after careful consideration, we have determined that the show cannot proceed,” the statement said.

It added, “We understand the disappointment this news brings and apologize to fans who planned to attend. The safety of fans is our foremost concern and will always come first.”
Details about ticket refunds will be released as soon as possible, according to the statement.
In the caption accompanying her post, Langley said the decision to cancel the concert “was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team.”
“I know how much time, track, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am,” she wrote. “This is not a decision that was made lightly. I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way.”
Langley launched her Dandelion Tour in May in Toledo, Ohio. The tour supports her second studio album, also titled Dandelion.
Earlier this week, the country singer performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Her next scheduled performance is Oct. 10 in Lubbock, Texas, followed by a two-night engagement at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. The Dandelion Tour is set to conclude Oct. 31 at Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
