A Wisconsin associate principal has been arrested over alleged sexual misconduct involving a student, according to the school district.
Kaitlyn Hintz, 32, who serves as associate principal at Bonduel Middle/High School, was taken into custody Monday—more than a week after a report was submitted through Wisconsin’s Speak Up, Speak Out system. The district notified parents in a letter shared by WBAY.
The report alleged “inappropriate contact between the associate principal and a student,” which the school described as a “serious situation.”
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office said Hintz was booked into the Shawano County Jail on multiple charges. Officials did not provide further details, citing the active investigation.
In its letter, the district emphasized that “none of the communications in question took place through district platforms, and none of the alleged interactions occurred on district property.”

It remains unclear how long Hintz has worked at the school, whose students are between 11 and 18 years old.
“We recognize that this news is deeply concerning for students, families, staff, and community,” the district said.

“The safety and wellbeing of our students remains our highest priority.”
Hintz is expected to appear in court later this week.
