“I was like, ‘Oh yeah, he lifted me over his head,’” Madden joked during an exclusive interview with E! News after the Oct. 20 episode. “He mustered up every ounce of strength he had because he knew I’d probably start crying if he couldn’t get me over his head anymore.”
Cameron, who confirmed his engagement to Madden in August, quickly reassured his fiancée during their joint interview. “No, you were up there like a feather, baby,” he said.
Madden also described her approach to the remainder of the contemporary routine with Cameron and his professional partner, Sharna Burgess. The emotional performance was dedicated to Cameron’s late mother, Andrea Cameron.
