At least one person was wounded in a shooting at Citibank’s campus in Tampa, Florida, shortly after noon Wednesday, according to law enforcement sources.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) scanner traffic indicated that the victim was bleeding in the cafeteria at the Citibank Center in Brandon, just outside Tampa.
Law enforcement sources told The Post that the suspected gunman was down and that there was currently one victim.
Sources said the shooting appeared to be targeted and may have involved a vendor at the facility rather than Citibank employees.
Aerial footage showed law enforcement officers moving through the sprawling corporate park Wednesday afternoon, WFLA reported.
“Please avoid the area of Queens Palm Drive and Falkenburg Road until further notice. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews work in the area,” HCSO said in a statement.
HCSO did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
