A man whose wife forced faeces into his mouth during an argument at their £1million farmhouse has been pictured.

Alison Moore launched the degrading attack on her husband, Rob, after accusing him of “talking s***” and failing to defend her when staff at a pub refused to serve her, Southampton Crown Court heard.

The court was told the incident followed a series of violent outbursts during the couple’s relationship and was described by prosecutors as a “pre-meditated” assault.

The 63-year-old pushed Mr Moore onto a bed at their home in Damerham, in the New Forest.

During the attack on August 20, Moore criticised her husband for not supporting her at the pub and called him “boring”.

She then told him: “You talk so much s***, I’m going to make you eat it.”

After smearing faeces over his face and forcing it into his mouth, Mr Moore managed to break away, wash himself and change his clothes, prosecutor Andrew Coley said.

He took a photograph before cleaning himself, which was later shown to the court, then contacted police. Moore was subsequently arrested.

She was given a suspended sentence for assault, and the couple left court together.

Mr Moore told the court that Moore had previously struck him in the back with a broom handle and hit him in the face while wearing a ring.

The court heard that photographs taken in March 2024 and August 2026 showed a cut above his eye and a minor injury to his back.

Three days after the broom attack, the couple spent an afternoon at a pub, where they argued over when they should leave.

They stopped at a second pub on their journey home, but staff refused to serve Moore, prompting the pair to return to their house.

Moore said her husband had failed to stand up for her and called him “boring” before carrying out what Mr Coley described as a planned attack.

Mr Moore submitted a victim impact statement but asked for it not to be read publicly. He also said he did not want a restraining order imposed.

Rose Burns, defending, said Moore “completely regrets” what she had done, but argued that her conduct stemmed from what she perceived as an imbalance in the relationship.

The court heard that Moore had sought private treatment at the Priory to examine her relationship with alcohol.

She had also received treatment for depression after the deaths of her parents in 2024 and 2025.

Moore’s sister died this year after falling down stairs. She was also grieving the recent deaths of an uncle and her dog, the court heard.

“The whole situation drove her into a very deep depression; she felt trapped and frustrated with her life,” Mrs Burns said.

“A lack of self-control drove her to do these things; in her right mind, she wouldn’t have.”

Moore had previously admitted three charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Judge Gary Lucie told her: “The use of faeces was a gratuitous degradation of the victim.”

Moore was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended, and left the courthouse alongside her husband.

She had spent three weeks on remand at HMP Bronzefield and is believed to now be staying at an Airbnb in Dorset.
