YouTube streaming sensation Darren “IShowSpeed” has firmly cemented his place in the world of football entertainment, especially with the upcoming FIFA World Cup set to kick off on June 11, 2026. Recently, IShowSpeed has been making waves as he reportedly filmed a music video for the official World Cup tournament. Accompanied by a camera crew and his Content Manager and Videographer, Samuel “Slipz,” the streamer has been busy capturing footage that could play a significant role in the global event.
The dedicated X page, “@IShowSpeedHQ,” which keeps fans updated on all things IShowSpeed, shared a series of intriguing videos and photos. These images show the streamer alongside a production team, diligently working in Miami in late May to produce content for the prestigious tournament.
Adding to the excitement, a follow-up post from the same page included what appears to be an official World Cup identification tag labeled “IShowSpeed LLC.” This suggests IShowSpeed’s formal involvement in the World Cup festivities, further solidifying his influence in the football streaming niche.
In various clips from the shoot, vibrant colors abound, showcasing country flags, jerseys, and clouds of powder. These elements are often seen in lively mini-parades or group scenes, with IShowSpeed prominently featured at the forefront, engaging directly with the camera.
Other clips showcased color, through country flags, jerseys, and powder, often featured in mini-parades or groups with Speed up front, facing the camera.
Speaking of cameras, production for the music video is apparently high-budget, with stadium shooting locations, sizable camera rigs, and multiple drones following the streamer around as he sings for the shot.
Early in May 2026, during his Caribbean tour, Speed suggested that he would be touring North America for the World Cup:
“We still got a lot more to do, and we got the World Cup coming… Y’all know I’m going to be right back with another tour.”
IShowSpeed’s 2022 World Cup song music video crosses 208 million views
On November 5, 2022, Speed premiered the music video to his song “World Cup” on YouTube. The song quickly went viral, considering it was released about two weeks before the 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off in Qatar. As of this writing, the video has 208,542,674 views.
The song opened with the streamer naming, often incorrectly, the countries participating in the tournament, leading up to a drop following his iconic line:
“Let’s play football.”
This upload came at a key moment in the streamer’s rise, and propelled him further into streaming fame. Notably, Slipz was responsible for the music video’s direction, editing, and coloring.
In other news, Speed confirmed he’s getting his anime series in collaboration with Netflix’s One Piece writer.
