An Australian couple has become instant multi-millionaires after securing a $20 million jackpot in the Oz Lotto draw.
Residing in Goulburn, located in western New South Wales, the couple claimed the sole division one winning ticket for Oz Lotto’s 1485th draw, netting them an impressive $20,034,030.85.
These lucky winners from the Southern Tablelands say they no longer fit the description of typical hard-working Aussies.
“I’m overwhelmed with emotion, mate. Every time I think I’ve got a grip, I end up crying again,” admitted the husband.
“Honestly, I don’t even know what to do with myself right now.”
‘We’ve always been Aussie battlers. Not anymore, though, I guess.’

‘I dropped into the store this morning to check my ticket and the team member gave me a shocked look,’ he said.
‘He said, ‘you might need to sit down, mate’.”
The man also revealed his incredible plan for the money.
‘I can’t wait to share it with my family. I’ll set everyone up and make sure they don’t have to worry about anything,’ he said.
The couple joked they would not make it into the office to resign after their massive win.
‘Retirement is beckoning. I’m not sure if we’ll actually make it back into work at this rate.’ they said.
‘We might just run away!’
The lucky winners golden numbers were 22, 42, 38, 33, 27, 23, 39, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 37 and 20.
