Brendan Allen Biography
Brendan Allen is an American professional mixed martial artist who is currently competing in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is also the winner of the middleweight match against Andre Muniz on February 25, 2023. Previously, Allen took part in the Legacy Fighting Alliance championship, where he emerged as the winner of the Middleweight Champion. Prior to that, he has also been featured among the 13 members of the UFC middleweight.
He completed high school in Mississippi where he participated in several training in boxing and wrestling. After high school, she enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University where he study criminal justice. Later after, he joined Clementi’s Gladiator Academy to train in mixed martial arts. While there he won the IMMAF 2015 Amateur Middleweight Championship. After his training, he began his career where he fought for various promotions before competing in the Legacy Fighting Alliance middleweight championship.
In 2019, he fought against Aaron Jeffery and won the fight in the first round. For his work, he got a contract with UFC. That same year, he fought against Kevin Holland and won the fight via submission in round two. Before this, Allen was supported to fight with Eric Spicely but due to unknown reasons, he didn’t. Later, he won the match against Tom Breese at UFC Fight Night: Benavidez vs. Figueiredo. Besides that, he also fought against Kyle Daukaus after he replaced Ian Heinisch in June 2020.

Next, Brandan faced Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night: Felder vs. dos Anjos and was defeated by him. After that defeat, he fought against Karl Roberson and won the bout via ankle hook submission at the end of the first round. In 2021, he replaced Anthony Hernandez and faced Punahele Soriano at UFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw. He emerged as the winner of the match before he lost to Chris Curtis. In the following year, Allen faced Jacob Malkoun and won the fight at UFC 275. Additionally, Allen also won the fight against Krzysztof Jotko, where he earned himself a night bonus. As of now, he is expected to face Bruno Silva on June 24, 2023, at UFC on ABC 5.
