Experience the 31st Iris Festival: A Blooming Celebration Awaits This Weekend

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) – The vibrant 2026 Iris Festival, hosted by the Greene County Partnership, is set to enliven downtown Greeneville this weekend, spanning May 16 and 17.

Visitors can look forward to a delightful array of offerings, from handcrafted pottery, intricate stained glass, and unique jewelry to boutique fashion, aromatic candles, and delectable baked goods. Food enthusiasts will be tempted by BBQ, refreshing lemonade, kettle corn, and an assortment of gourmet desserts, ensuring there’s something for everyone in the family.

Festival hours are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

On Friday evening, starting at 5 p.m., certain sections of downtown will be closed to facilitate vendor setup. These restrictions will be lifted by Sunday at 7 p.m.

Complementing the Iris Festival, attendees can also enjoy the Sundown on Depot Car Show, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Downtown Brewfest, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Live entertainment for Saturday starts at 10 a.m. with the Greeneville High School jazz band, with several acts following, leading up to the final performance of Baylee Lynn at 4 p.m. On Sunday, music will get going at noon with the Acoustic Corner, followed by a few acts before the Matt Hurd Band brings it home at 4 p.m.
