An actor, driven by a frenzy, was convicted of attempted murder on Friday after attacking his former partner, a celebrated Hollywood make-up artist, by stabbing her over 20 times during a violent home intrusion.
Nick Pasqual, known for his roles in various series, including “How I Met Your Mother,” now faces the prospect of a life sentence for his heinous assault on Allie Shehorn at her residence in Sunland, California, back in May 2024.
During the trial at the San Fernando Courthouse, Shehorn bravely showed the jury the scars that bear witness to the attack, as reported by ABC7. She recounted her ordeal in court, sharing the chilling details of Pasqual’s aggression.
In her emotional testimony, the 37-year-old make-up artist described the frightening behavior that led to their breakup and her subsequent decision to obtain a restraining order against him. Her narrative painted a vivid picture of the tumultuous relationship.
“I secured the door, but he began punching through it until it shattered,” Shehorn recounted tearfully, according to the news outlet. “I fled to the bathroom, hoping the extra lock would keep me safe.”
Pasqual, 36, was found guilty of attempted murder, forcible rape, first-degree residential burglary with person present and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent and domestic violence, according to court records viewed by The Post.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 2.
Shehorn was found by her surrogate mother after the bloody carnage that took place at around 4:30 a.m. and rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where she underwent multiple surgeries.
She suffered multiple slashes to her neck as well as cuts on her arms and abdomen, spending nearly a week fighting for her life in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Pasqual fled California after the stabbing was nabbed at the border, trying to cross into Mexico in Sierra Blanca, Texas, on May 30 — seven days after he attacked Shehorn.
Pasqual had allegedly attacked his then-girlfriend at least four times before the violent stabbing.
In her restraining order, Shehorn accused Pasqual of using a belt, breaking down doors, leaving her with a concussion and raping and choking her.
A year before the attack, Shehorn had won “Best SFX Makeup” at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for her work on “Incorrigible.”
She has also worked on films “Rebel Moon: Part One,” and “Babylon.”
Shehorn returned to the make-up industry after recovering from her injuries and has nine credits since 2025 including Rainn Wilson’s action-comedy “Code 3.”
