In a tragic incident on Crimea’s soil, a Russian soldier reportedly opened fire on his fellow servicemen, resulting in one fatality and one injury, before turning his aggression toward civilians, ending the lives of three others, an official disclosed Tuesday.
According to Mikhail Razvozhayev, the governor appointed by Russia in the Sevastopol district, three additional individuals sustained injuries during the chaotic event.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody.
As of now, the underlying motives behind these attacks remain unclear.
Razvozhayev emphasized that investigations are underway to determine every aspect of the incident, while also advising citizens to keep calm and refrain from spreading unsubstantiated information.

Crimea is a strategic and heavily militarised peninsula on the Black Sea, which Russia seized and annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
