Lindsay Hubbard Opens Up About Emotional Postpartum Split and Co-Parenting Journey with Ex Turner Kufe

Lindsay Hubbard Shares Co-Parenting Update With Ex Turner Kufe, If She's Dating and Updates on Dustin Lynch, Frank Acosta & Danielle, Plus Talks Summer House Season 11 and Regrets

Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard opened up on Monday about her recent breakup with Turner Kufe, discussing their current co-parenting arrangement. During the conversation, she also touched upon her dating life and her connections with Dustin Lynch and Frank Acosta.

Reflecting on the moment she and Turner parted ways, Lindsay described it as an unforeseen event. The couple, who welcomed their first child, daughter Gemma, into the world in December 2024, decided to separate just weeks afterward.

“Anyone who has been through the postpartum phase knows how intense those first six or seven weeks can be. When you add a breakup to the mix, along with the immediate shift to co-parenting, mediation, and organizing custody, not to mention finding nearby but separate living spaces, it becomes overwhelming. [Laughs.] Last year ranks among the toughest I’ve faced, and I’ve endured plenty of challenges,” Lindsay shared with Us Weekly on July 14 regarding her experiences with Turner.

She recalled of the split, “The day we broke up, I was at a restaurant next to [costar] Yvonne [Najor]’s apartment, and I was like, ‘I’m coming over.’ I left my breast pumps at home, and I needed tequila, so she’s literally helping me hand-express the milk out of my boobs into a big bowl on my lap.”

Ultimately, Lindsay admits, “It wasn’t my first choice to be a single mom. I thought we were going to figure it out, but I’m never going to force anyone to be with me.”

Fortunately, things between the exes are going great today following mediation to sort out custody issues regarding Emma, which included a compromise that allowed Emma to appear on ‘In the City‘ with Lindsay while remaining off her social media page.

“[Turner]’s such a great father, and her relationship with him is so special. We communicate very well, so we’re nailing coparenting at the moment,” Lindsay shared. “Hopefully, it stays that way.”

When it comes to Lindsay’s next love interest, she said they would “one hundred percent” have to be okay with being in the public eye, unlike Turner.

“I don’t want to be in a position where I have to choose between a guy and my career,” she explained. “I do. I love companionship, I love operating as a team … I would love a partner that fits well into my life. [But] I’m not looking for that right now.

For now, Lindsay is “enjoying not being locked down.”

“I don’t have the energy to commit fully to any one person. I’m working on the roster. A lot of them are long-distance right now, and I like that,” she revealed.

Regarding former flames Dustin and Frank, who previously dated Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd, 50, Lindsay said she and Dustin were “just friends,” while she and Frank “talk every day.”

“I love [Dustin]; he’s such a great person. Frank is long-distance — he lives here, but he also lives in Miami, and he travels so much for work.”

In the City season one airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Brad Pitt’s Struggle with Children’s Controversial Newspaper Ads: An Insider’s Perspective

0

In stark black-and-white print, a California newspaper showcases the latest, and potentially final, efforts by two of Brad Pitt’s children to legally distance themselves from their renowned father.

According to a notice published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt has officially requested a court decree to change her name to Zahara Marley Jolie.

Similarly, the journal publicized a notice from Pitt’s oldest son, announcing, ‘Petitioner Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt has submitted a request to change his name to Maddox Chivan Jolie.’ Each of these notices appeared four times consecutively in the newspaper between June 10 and July 7.

In California, the legal name change process involves such filings to deter fraudulent activities and provides sufficient time for anyone opposing the petition to present their arguments against it.

Sources reveal that Pitt reportedly believes that any attempt to contest the name changes might exacerbate the situation, leaving him feeling powerless.

‘He’s always going to respect his kids’ choices at the end of the day,’ one source said, adding that ‘any parent intentionally excluded from their children’s lives as punishment is obviously going to be upset by it.’

Brad Pitt, the Daily Mail was told, feels his hands are tied, and an objection would only make things worse

The breakdown in Pitt’s relationship with Zahara, Maddox and their siblings has been years in the making, but those closest to the family remain deeply divided over why.

To start, one must go back to Pitt’s tumultuous relationship with their mother, Angelina Jolie. The exes were involved in a grueling eight-year divorce battle that was finalized in 2024.

The marriage ended after a volatile plane incident in 2016 and abuse allegations, which Pitt has adamantly denied. He has also never been charged with a crime and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt of physical abuse allegations.

Following the split, a source close to Pitt, 62, suggested that Jolie, 51, allegedly attempted to reconcile with her ex-husband – but he rejected her. A separate source has denied the actress ever wanted her ex back and instead said she ‘participated in years of family therapy with Pitt and the children, for everyone to try to heal.’

A decade later, there is still more healing to do.

According to a second source, it’s not easy for their kids – Zahara, 21, Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Shiloh, 20, and 18-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – to forgive and forget.

‘None of the kids respect Brad because of what he has done to their mother,’ the insider told the Daily Mail on Monday.

‘They remember how awful it was when they were married, all the fights and drama. They always preferred their mom: Brad always told them what they shouldn’t do while Angelina told them what they could do, so it’s no wonder they gravitated toward her.’

Many close to Pitt are convinced, though, that the now-adult children are victims of a long-running ‘alienation campaign.’

‘This very sad situation is the result of a deliberate, devastating, harmful alienation campaign against the kids’ father by the mother,’ the first source alleged. ‘It’s textbook language from children who were taught to alienate another parent.’

The source also claimed that it is ‘the result of years of one parent weaponizing the children against the other, with no regard for the consequences.’

In May, an insider familiar with the situation insisted to Page Six that Jolie has never set out to isolate her children and condemned the use of the word ‘alienated.’

While they seemingly grow further away from their father – with Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox also making moves to drop Pitt’s name, they appear to become closer to their mother.

As one source put it, Jolie is ‘the superwoman’ and Pitt ‘is the villain.’

And it hasn’t helped that following the divorce, another arduous legal battle ensued.

The exes have been fighting over Jolie’s sale of her stake in their French winery Chateau Miraval, where the two ironically said ‘I do’ in 2014.

The lawsuit has reportedly given their kids more ammunition to despise their dad.

‘They hate that Brad has been so difficult with Miraval, they feel he is punishing their mother with the constant bickering over money from the winery,’ the second source said. ‘She has had to spend a fortune on lawyers, and they feel bad for their mom.’

It’s been reported that Jolie has made upwards of $80 million following her divorce, including from the sale of Miraval and other financial agreements.

In addition, we’re told the reason Pitt has been fighting Jolie in court over her Miraval stake is that the sale ‘directly impacted the children’s inheritance.’

The children reportedly also feel resentment for how little Pitt is doing to help their future.

Jolie has ‘built a very positive and creative world for them, and they are grateful,’ the second source said. ‘She is even helping them build their careers, which Brad has never done. Maddox, Pax and Vivienne are thriving behind the scenes in showbusiness.’

Sources close to Pitt say, however, he never had the opportunity to give them a leg up in Hollywood. Jolie ‘deliberately excluded him from having any of these conversations,’ the first source claimed.

A third insider shared just how much Pitt is at his wits’ end with the ordeal, calling it an ‘impossible position as more of his children have chosen to drop his last name.’

‘He views the situation as deeply painful and believes Angelina’s role in how things unfolded is the ultimate betrayal.’

Because of how much Pitt allegedly believes Jolie is at fault for the ’emotional fallout that has been building for years,’ his ‘resentment toward Angelina now extends far beyond the heartbreak of losing his relationship with his children.’

The third source added that Pitt, who has found love again with 33-year-old jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, has zero interest in making amends with his ex-wife and, from his perspective, ‘that chapter of his life is permanently closed.’

‘He no longer dwells on the happy memories of their relationship, and what once felt like a great love now feels so distant that it almost seems as though it belonged to someone else’s life,’ the insider further explained.

‘More than anything, he no longer wants his life or emotions to be dictated by Angelina. He’s tired of carrying that weight and has reached a point where he’s ready to leave the bitterness behind and move on.’

Pitt has, to an extent, ‘accepted that he cannot control’ what is happening with his kids and is instead focused on ‘taking the high road’ and moving on.

According to the insider, he will always hold out hope for his children and that they will one day be able to repair their relationships.

‘If his children ever decide they want him back in their lives, he would welcome them without hesitation,’ the third source concluded.

‘He is choosing to focus on moving forward, believing that time has gradually helped heal wounds he once thought would never close.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Pitt and Jolie’s representatives for comment.

Darline Graham Nordone: Comprehensive Profile, Political Career, and Personal Life Overview

Darline Graham Nordone Biography – Darline Graham Nordone Wiki

In a poignant turn of events, Darline Graham Nordone steps onto the national stage as the newly appointed senator-designate from South Carolina. Her political debut comes amid the backdrop of personal loss, as she fills the shoes of her late brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham. Sen. Graham passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Preliminary findings by the District of Columbia medical examiner attribute his untimely death to a ruptured aorta linked to cardiovascular disease.

South Carolina’s political landscape saw a quick pivot as Governor Henry McMaster revealed at a press conference on Monday, July 13, 2026, that Nordone would assume her brother’s Senate position until January 2027. This interim appointment paves the way for a Republican primary scheduled for August 11, ensuring party representation in the upcoming November midterms.

Reflecting on her new role, Darline expressed heartfelt gratitude and determination, saying, “It is such a privilege to get to finish some of his important work, and I promise to work hard over the next several months to support the president and carry forward the efforts of my brother on behalf of the citizens of South Carolina and the United States.”

Echoing a sentiment of familial duty and personal commitment, she continued, “I think this is what Lindsey would have wanted, and I plan to honor him in this way,” adding an emotional note directly to her brother: “I miss you more than I can even put into words, but I’m gonna do this. I got it. Thank you.”

Earlier in the day, Nordone received a notable nod from President Trump. On his Truth Social platform, he posted: “I recommended, to Governor Henry McMaster, Lindsey Graham’s wonderful sister, Darline, to serve as interim Senator from the Great State of South Carolina. This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsey, who loved her dearly!” This endorsement underscores the weight of both familial legacy and political support that Nordone carries as she embarks on this new chapter.

Career

Nordone has worked as an optician and at various state agencies, including the South Carolina Commission for the Blind and the Department of Employment and Workforce. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the College of Charleston in December 1989. She later earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from South Carolina State University in 2009. Her graduate training aligned with a career focused on helping South Carolinians with disabilities find work and live independently.

Darline Graham Nordone Age

Darline Graham Nordone was born on June 12, 1964, in Central, South Carolina, US. Her first name has been a source of confusion in some initial reports. Although her birth certificate reportedly spells it “Darlene,” she has used “Darline” since childhood.

Nordone explained in a 2014 interview with The Atlantic that her brother taught her to spell it “D-A-R-L-I-N-E,” and she continued using that spelling. Her state agency identifies her professionally as Darline Graham, while national political coverage typically uses her married name, Darline Graham Nordone.

Darline Graham Nordone Husband

Darline Graham Nordone is married to Larry Nordone. She lives with her husband in Lexington.

Darline Graham Nordone Family

Darline Graham Nordone and the late Sen. Lindsey Graham were the children of Millie Walters Graham and Florence James “F.J.” Graham. Their parents operated the Sanitary Cafe, a combination restaurant, bar, pool hall and liquor store on Main Street in Central. For part of their childhood, the family lived together in a single room behind the business.

Their mother died from Hodgkin lymphoma on June 9, 1976, when Nordone was 11 — three days before her 12th birthday. Their father died of a heart attack approximately 15 months later, when Nordone was 13 and Graham was 22.

Nordone and the late Sen. Lindsey Graham. Graham, who never married and had no children, shared a tight bond with his sister. Even before their parents died, she said, she relied on her brother. “My parents, since they had to work a lot, Lindsey was kind of the one there that took care of me. If I fell down and scraped my knee, Lindsey was the one I ran to,” she said in a 2014 campaign ad for Graham.

Darline Graham Nordone Political Experience

Darline Graham Nordone hasn’t been in elected office before. As her brother rose through the Republican ranks, Nordone was a constant presence by his side, supporting him in speeches, appearances and even campaign ads. Besides being a frequent attendee at Graham’s political events, Nordone is woven deeply into her brother’s personal and political biography.

When Graham first ran for the US House in 1992, she knocked doors for his campaign. In 2014, she appeared in a campaign ad, telling the story of how her brother took on the responsibility of raising his teenage sister. In 2015, she introduced him as he launched his presidential campaign outside their childhood home, telling supporters: “He has never let me down. Never. I don’t see how he did it, to take on the responsibility of raising a little sister. That came from within for Lindsey.”

Once sworn in, Nordone will become the first woman to represent South Carolina in the U.S. Senate. Graham’s term expires Jan. 3, 2027.

Taylor Swift’s Secret Wedding: Friendship Fallout with Miles & Keleigh Teller?

The absence of Keleigh Teller from the guest list of Taylor Swift’s star-studded wedding caught many by surprise. Once close friends, the duo’s relationship had evidently cooled long before Swift exchanged vows with Travis Kelce. Last June, TMZ revealed that neither Keleigh nor her actor husband, Miles Teller, received invitations to the high-profile event, describing the situation as a “sad time” for their faltering friendship. But theirs weren’t the only notable absences, as Blake Lively also missed the ceremony. The exclusion was unexpected given the Tellers’ previous amicable connections with Swift, highlighted by their appearance in her 2021 music video, “I Bet You Think About Me.”

Just weeks before Swift, often dubbed the “Fortnight” singer, celebrated her nuptials, whispers about her and Keleigh’s dissolved friendship began spreading. Insider accounts claimed that a contentious text thread involving Swift and Lively, discussing a feud between Lively and Justin Baldoni, soured Keleigh’s view, as reported by the Daily Mail. This element of stress, added with pressures surrounding Lively’s dynamic, prompted friends to advise Keleigh to prioritize her mental well-being by stepping back.

However, it was Swift’s lack of support during a critical moment in Keleigh’s life that became a significant breaking point in their relationship. Following the devastation of the Tellers’ home in the Los Angeles wildfires, Swift’s absence in their time of need was perceived as a betrayal. As highlighted by sources conversing with the Daily Mail, the incident marked the end of what once was a close friendship, with Keleigh feeling left in the lurch by someone she had unfailingly supported.

Keleigh Teller used to gush over Taylor Swift online

In the days before Travis Kelce’s engagement, Keleigh had gifted Swift a luxurious token of their friendship—a dazzling opal ring. Celebrating the “Bad Blood” singer’s birthday, Keleigh presented Swift with the jewel, showcasing it on social media back in December 2023. Her post humorously addressed rumors suggesting it might have been a gift from Kelce, but Keleigh clarified in People that the gift was her own gesture, encapsulating their friendship at its peak.

At the time, the friends seemed inseparable; Keleigh even accompanied Swift to the Golden Globes in January 2024. To commemorate the occasion, she uploaded a three-slide Instagram post. “Romy and Michele (and Tree) take the globes,” Keleigh wrote. A month later, the former besties made their last public appearance together. As Keleigh documented in an Instagram carousel, she attended the 2024 Super Bowl with Swift. The post included a video of the pair sharing a hug in the suite where they watched with friends as they celebrated Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs winning the big game. It’s also worth noting that Blake Lively was in the suite celebrating alongside the two.

A year later, the joyous celebration with Swift seemed a distant memory as Keleigh and Miles lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires. “To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world,” Keleigh wrote in a January 2025 Instagram post that showed the fires approaching their home. “Many people have reached out, just either letting us know that they’re there emotionally or people are offering us their place,” Miles told E! News in February 2025. As mentioned, reports claim Swift was not among the many who checked in on the Tellers.

Historic Execution: Florida Executes 74-Year-Old for 1982 Teen Murder, Sparking Ethical Debate

0

A 74-year-old man was executed on Tuesday in Florida, marking him as the oldest individual to face execution in the state since the onset of Florida’s modern execution history.

Authorities confirmed that Dennis Sochor was declared dead at 6:16 p.m. following the administration of a three-drug protocol at the Florida State Prison located near Starke. Sochor’s conviction stemmed from the first-degree murder and abduction of 18-year-old Patricia Gifford, after she rebuffed his sexual advances on January 1, 1982.

Earlier that day, the U.S. Supreme Court declined without comment to delay Sochor’s execution, dismissing his appeal, thus clearing the path for the scheduled lethal injection.

As execution time arrived, Sochor lay restrained on a gurney, an IV inserted into his arm, as witnesses watched through the death chamber’s glass partition.

He apologized several times to the Gifford family, saying he was “deeply sorry” for his crime, a spokesman for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office said, according to The Associated Press. He also thanked his loved ones for their support over the years and commended his spirit to Jesus Christ.

Sochor declined a last meal and met with one visitor and a spiritual advisor before his execution, according to the outlet.

Sochor was with his brother when he met Gifford as she was celebrating on New Year’s Day at a bar in the Fort Lauderdale area, according to Fox 13.

The group talked through the night, but Gifford left with Sochor and his brother to get breakfast. Sochor drove his truck to a secluded area and asked Gifford if she wanted to have sex, and she refused. Sochor then attacked the teenager, according to investigators.

Sochor was arrested in 1986 on unrelated charges and extradited to Florida, where he confessed to choking Gifford and disposing of her body.

His brother told authorities Sochor was responsible for Gifford’s disappearance, and her body was never found.

In 1987, a jury convicted Sochor of first-degree murder and kidnapping, and he was sentenced to death.

While Sochor was the oldest inmate in Florida’s modern history to be executed, an 80-year-old prisoner is scheduled to be executed later in July. Another 74-year-old inmate only a week younger than Sochor at the time of execution was put to death last month.

Sochor’s execution was the 10th in Florida so far this year.

In 2025, 19 people were put to death in Florida, setting a record for the most executions in one year in the Sunshine State. Before last year, Florida’s record for executions in a year since the death penalty was restored in 1976 was eight in 1984 and 2014.

Florida also executed more people last year than any other state, with Alabama, Texas and South Carolina tied for the second-most with five each. Across the U.S., 47 people were executed in 2025.

Tragic Twist: Mississippi Teen Cordarius Hobbs Charged with Murdering Elderly Employers

0

In a chilling development from Mississippi, a teenager is accused of murdering an elderly couple with whom he was familiar before engaging in a tense standoff with police, as revealed in recent court proceedings.

Cordarius Hobbs, 17, stands accused of the brutal slaying of Billy Blair, aged 74, and his 71-year-old wife, Virginia Carol Blair, during a home invasion that occurred on June 3 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

During a preliminary hearing on Thursday, Hobbs’ family members provided testimony confirming that he indeed knew the elderly couple.

The family disclosed that Hobbs had previously carried out tasks such as cleaning around the Blair residence before the tragic incident, as reported by WAPT.

Billy Newsome, Hobbs’ grandfather, voiced his belief in his grandson’s innocence, suggesting that Hobbs was summoned to work on the day of the alleged shootings.

“My grandson used to work for the man, why you gone rob a man that you work for,” Newsome said. “Why you gone stay there that long and you know the police out there, and then you gone wait until everybody gets there to run, it just ain’t adding up, something just ain’t right here.”

On June 3, three contractors installing a generator at the Blairs’ home discovered Carol Blair’s car door open with several guns on the seats around 10 a.m., prompting them to call the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department for a welfare check at 11:30 a.m, according to a Mississippi Bureau of Investigation investigator.

By noon, the investigator said that officers arrived and were met with shots fired at them, starting a nearly two-hour-long standoff.

Hobbs was captured after trying to run away from officers, the official said, adding that the teen was unarmed when he was caught.

Carol Blair was found in a bedroom curled in the fetal position and had three gunshots to the back of her head. Bill Blair was found lying on his back in the kitchen with three gunshot wounds to his face.

The state investigator said three firearms were found inside the home as well as 280 shell casings, all owned by Bill Blair.

Hobbs’ defense attorney, Zachary Vaugh, argued that there’s a lack of direct forensic evidence connecting the teenager to the shooting.

“There was nothing to say he’s a principal, he’s the one that pulled the trigger on these things,” Vaugh said. “One of the things alone was, one of the victims was shot twice on one side of the head and once on the other. I think that’s pretty compelling that somebody else may have been in there. There’s a lot of things that are possible, just a tremendous amount of things.”

“When you have an officer say there’s no one that can identify him at the time of the shooting, I just don’t see how that adds up,” he said.

Hobbs is charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of burglary, in addition to 10 other charges. He was denied bond.

In a statement on Facebook, the couple’s family previously said, “We are crushed in spirit, bruised, and brokenhearted, but we are not alone.”

Jason Busby, who was friends with the couple, remembered them as being extremely selfless when speaking with WLBT.

“The man would’ve given you the shirt off his back, his wife is the same, and they’re just great people. It’s just a tragedy,” Busby said. “Everybody around here is still in shock. They were just good people.”

Captain Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger Reveals Alzheimer’s Diagnosis in Courageous Statement

0

Captain Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger, renowned for the “Miracle on the Hudson,” has revealed his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

The 75-year-old aviation icon shared on Tuesday that he is in the early stages of this progressive illness, which gradually impacts memory and cognitive skills.

Sullenberger spoke candidly about the diagnosis, expressing how he and his wife, Lorrie, who have been together for 37 years, are maintaining a hopeful outlook.

“Lorrie and I always felt extraordinarily blessed with our two daughters. It turns out the saying is true—grandchildren do change everything. Our granddaughter has brought new depth to our lives,” he shared.

“That being said, I recently discovered that I have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Fortunately, it is at an early stage,” he continued.

‘For now, this means a name may not come easily to me, I forget a story I have recently told, or I don’t sleep as well, but I am in the beginning of this long journey.’

He said that although his memory will be impacted by the disease, his ‘diagnosis will not prevent me from looking forward to and appreciating our future.’

Sullenberger was hailed a hero after he famously landed a damaged plane on the Hudson river in New York City in 2009 following a bird strike.

‘I will navigate this chapter with my wonderful family by my side,’ he said, sharing how Lorrie has asked that others show them hope in this time of need.

‘Over the years, when people would ask about the successful outcome of Flight 1549, I would say that “courage can be contagious,” and on that day it helped everyone band together to get everyone off that airplane successfully,’ he added.

‘Now we need that courage to battle this disease. I am now part of a larger community with many of you, and we will be courageous together.’

An estimated 7.2 million Americans aged 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The disease was also the fifth-leading cause of death among people over age 65 in 2024.

Sullenberger highlighted how he is now using the ‘greater voice afforded to me by The Miracle on the Hudson’ to speak out about the global impact of Alzheimer’s.

‘My doctor, Dr Gil Rabinovici with UCSF Medical Center, has opened my eyes to the prevalence of Alzheimer’s,’ he wrote in his statement.

‘This disease, he has told me, spares no age group and impacts millions of people around the world. It is the unwanted visitor at the door.’

He added: ‘So this new phase of my life has challenged what it means to be of service. And the answer is to speak up. It is my hope that by sharing this, other families living in the shadows with this disease will feel they too can step forward.’

Sully was behind the yoke of US Airways Flight 1549 on January 15, 2009 when it encountered double engine failure after colliding with a flock of geese after takeoff from NYC’s LaGuardia airport.

All 155 people on board survived the plane’s crash landing into the Hudson, which has since been dubbed the Miracle on the Hudson.

Sully was portrayed by Tom Hanks in the 2016 movie named after him about the flight, which Clint Eastwood directed.

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 1-3

Open Heaven 15 July 2026 MESSAGE

Today, I will discuss material burdens as another category of burdens. The devil seeks to put material burdens on people because he knows that when someone is living in poverty, it will be easier for him or her to fall into temptations that involve material things. The widow of Zarephath and her son watched their material food supplies deplete daily until they had only one meal left. To make matters worse, a severe famine had struck the land; everything was dry, and they had no hope of finding another meal. Therefore, they resolved to eat the only meal that was left and prepare for death. However, the Burden Bearer stepped into their situation and turned things around such that what wasn’t enough became sufficient to sustain them throughout the famine (1 Kings 17:7-16). I pray that the Almighty God will deliver you from any material burden that may be in your life, in Jesus’ name.

There was once a very wealthy man who had a quarrel with his wife. As the quarrel got heated, she told him that by the time she was finished with him, he would travel everywhere within Lagos on foot. The man laughed because at the time, he had 14 cars. Unfortunately, however, things began to go downhill for him, and at one point, he had one car left and 50 kobo in his pocket. Then he began to think to himself, “If I use the 50 kobo with me to fuel my car, I will have nothing to eat. However, if l buy food, I will have to walk everywhere I need to go, just as my wife had said.” That was when he came to Jesus Christ, and Jesus took over his situation. When he shared the testimony of his turnaround, he was dedicating two new houses at once.

In today’s Bible reading, Haggai rebuked the Israelites for abandoning God’s house and living just for themselves. He told them that they were experiencing a lack of material resources as a result. The people sowed much but reaped little, and the little they earned wasted away. Beloved, if you want to experience material prosperity, seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness wholeheartedly. Mind His business, and He will ensure that you live in material abundance all the days of your life. If you have lost any material thing, turn to God today, and He will restore it to you, just as He promised in today’s memory verse.

Open Heaven 15 July 2026 HYMN 26 – There Shall Be Showers Of Blessing

1 There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.

Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

2 There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain. [Refrain]

3 There shall be showers of blessing:
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come and now honor Thy Word. [Refrain]

4 There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call! [Refrain]

Undocumented Immigrant Sentenced Following Deadly California Semitruck Crash Killing Three

0

In a recent development, a 21-year-old Indian national, who federal authorities confirmed was unlawfully present in the U.S., received a prison sentence of four years and eight months. This ruling comes after a catastrophic crash in Southern California last year that resulted in the loss of three lives.

Jashanpreet Singh accepted responsibility by pleading guilty to three felony charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence for an accident in October 2025, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Investigators reported that Singh was operating a semitruck when he collided with slow-moving traffic on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino County, an event that led to three fatalities and multiple injuries.

News Media previously reported that Singh is an illegal immigrant from India who crossed the southern border in 2022 and was released into the United States by the Biden administration.

According to federal sources, Singh was first encountered by Border Patrol agents in California’s El Centro Sector in March 2022 and released pending an immigration hearing.

The crash, which was captured on dashcam video, showed Singh never applying the brakes before slamming into traffic, according to investigators.

Singh obtained a California commercial driver’s license in June 2025, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

In September, federal officials warned California they had uncovered compliance issues involving commercial driver’s licenses and directed the state to make corrections, including pausing the issuance of new licenses to non-citizens and reviewing existing licenses to ensure they complied with federal requirements.

Anyone who did not meet the criteria was supposed to have their license revoked.

Federal officials said Singh should have been disqualified under an emergency Department of Transportation policy. California officials said Singh’s CDL eligibility was based on federally approved employment authorization documents, while federal transportation officials said he should have been disqualified under new emergency rules. However, on Oct. 15, after he turned 21, a restriction on his commercial driver’s license was removed.

Just six days later, authorities said Singh was driving the semitruck involved in the deadly crash.

Toxicology testing later confirmed Singh was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
