Chaos Erupts: Multiple Stabbings at London’s Arsenal Celebration Following Violent Paris PSG Victory

0

A violent turn of events marred Arsenal’s Premier League victory parade in London on Sunday as six individuals suffered stab wounds. This came just hours after Parisian celebrations for PSG’s Champions League win descended into chaos on the Champs Élysées, which was likened to a scene of “urban guerrilla warfare.”

The streets of North London were flooded with an estimated one million fans eager to commemorate Arsenal’s first Premier League triumph in 22 years. On Monday, the Metropolitan Police reported the arrest of 24 individuals during the festivities.

Among the injured was a man in his 20s, who was initially hospitalized in critical condition but has since stabilized. Fortunately, police stated that the other victims sustained only minor injuries.

Out of the 24 arrests, 10 individuals were charged with assaulting police officers. One officer suffered a hand laceration, while another was struck on the head.

Additionally, authorities detained three people on suspicion of sexual assault, and another trio faced drug-related charges.

Cops said two arrests were made for drunken and disorderly behavior, while one hater hurled a homophobic slur at an officer.

Arrests were also made for disturbing the peace, obstruction and ignoring dispersal orders.

Four police vans were left with broken lights and several dents, too.

Arsenal won its league title May 19 — before Paris Saint-Germaine then defeated it in the separate UEFA, or Union of European Football Associations, Champions League finals in Budapest, Hungary, on penalty kicks Saturday.

France erupted in glee over PSG’s win, sending those fans running amok.

Nine hundred people were arrested across France on Saturday – a 45% rise over last year’s chaos when PSG’s Champions League also won against Inter Milan. Almost 180 cops were injured in melees, according to Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez.

A person was even killed on what was supposed to be a night of jubilation celebrating the back-to-back European cup triumphs.

More than 306 people – including 81 minors – were taken into custody over the violence, Parisian prosecutors said.

“Justice will be uncompromising,” warned Paris’s public prosecutor, Laure Beccuau.

Hooligans lit fires to cars and ransacked stores – and a group of unruly fans even tried to raid a police station in Paris’s ritzy 8th arrondissement — the district home to the City of Lights’ famed Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe.

The “Champs-Elysees avenue and its surroundings ceased to be a place of celebration and became an arena of urban guerrilla warfare,” officials in the 8th arrondissement blasted.

Jordan Bardella, leader of France’s National Rally party, likened the scenes to a “civil war,” Agence France-Presse reported.

Cops were forced to disperse a blockade that had formed surrounding Paris’s main ring road five times.

Two people also were injured when a driver lost control of their car and smashed into a restaurant terrace.

Calmer scenes were reported Sunday in France, with around 100,000 revelers gathering in front of the Eiffel Tower for PSG’s title parade at the time.

But French President Emmanuel Macron lamented the shocking earlier scenes.

“This is not soccer, this is not sport, this is not what we love,” he said.

“We will be uncompromising with those who have been caught. We do not want to see this happen again. It’s over. We’ve had enough. This must end.”

Nuñez defensively batted back staunch backlash over the arrest figures.

“If there are so many arrests, it’s because this work was obviously well done,” he said.

More than 500 arrests were made last year across France after Qatari-owned PSG prevailed in Munich, Germany.

Shocking Poll Results: One Nation Emerges as Australia’s Leading Political Party

0

In a surprising twist on the political scene, One Nation has emerged as the country’s leading party, surpassing Labor in primary voter support.

The most recent survey conducted by The Australian Financial Review in collaboration with Redbridge Group and Accent Research indicates that One Nation’s primary voter support has surged by four percentage points, now standing at 31 percent. This marks a significant increase since the pre-budget poll conducted a month prior.

In contrast, Labor’s primary vote has decreased by three points, now at 28 percent, while support for the Coalition has slipped further, reaching 20 percent.

Labor leads One Nation on a two-party-preferred basis but the gap has narrowed from 10 points to just 51-49.

Redbridge director Tony Barry told the AFR that a record 63 per cent of those polled believed the country was heading in the wrong direction, helping to explain the One Nation surge.

“The downstream effects of the budget and another interest rate rise is Labor have lost more vote share, but the Coalition aren’t the beneficiaries on a primary vote basis,” he said.

“With almost two-thirds of the electorate now saying Australia is heading in the wrong direction, that pervasive negative mood sentiment is fuelling more anti-establishment support and a view among a growing cohort of voters that the answer lies outside established norms and major parties.”

9News political editor Charles Croucher stressed polls didn’t directly translate into votes but One Nation could win seats if the trend continued.

If it won enough seats, the prospect of a two- or three-party Coalition could emerge.

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says she believes she can take the top job.

“I believe that I have the ability to do it. I’m not going to underestimate myself,” she said.

Shake-up to AUKUS announced

The polling was released on the same day the government announced a major shake-up in the multibillion-dollar AUKUS deal, with Australia set to switch to used American nuclear submarines.

Defence Minister Richard Marles was in Singapore with his American and British counterparts, who agreed to greater collaboration on underwater drones and weaponry for autonomous subs and a change for the AUKUS agreement.

Australia will receive three used Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines from America, not the mix of new and used boats as first planned.

Defence Minister Richard Marles was in Singapore with his American and British counterparts.

“This signature project will see our countries operating at the highest level,” Marles said.

“In the context of a very complicated endeavour, we need to place a premium on simplicity.”

Defence officials say this will make servicing and operations easier and significantly cheaper.

But Greens senator David Shoebridge was sceptical.

“Mr Marles went to Singapore to meet with his AUKUS buddies and he came back with a handful of second hand subs on a promise from the United States,” he said.

China’s leadership didn’t attend this year’s Shangri-La Dialogue but with wars still ravaging the Middle East and Ukraine the middle powers are praising the recent summit in Beijing, desperate to avoid regional wars becoming a world war.

“When great powers are talking with each other, the world feels safer. So we very much welcome that gathering,” Marles said.

The AUKUS deal will be part of Australia’s defence strategy for decades to come, forcing it to survive changes at the White House, Downing Street and in Canberra.

Buffy Alum Eliza Dushku Steals Spotlight at Unforgettable MLB Game Appearance

Eliza Dushku recently reemerged in the public eye, marking nearly a decade since she stepped away from Hollywood to embark on a new professional journey.

The 45-year-old actress, celebrated for her role as the bold and fearless slayer Faith on the beloved TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” shared a glimpse of her life on Instagram. On Thursday, May 28, she posted a video of herself enjoying a walk through a Boston baseball field, her hometown.

The video revealed Dushku with longer, lighter brunette hair, a departure from the darker, bobbed style she donned during her time on “Buffy” and its spinoff, “Angel.”

In her post, she discussed her involvement in organizing an upcoming marathon for the nonprofit organization where she currently works, highlighting her shift away from the entertainment industry.

Since retiring from acting in 2017, Dushku has transitioned into a meaningful new chapter, focusing on mental health counseling and trauma care.

Per Boston Magazine, Dushku was inspired to embark on new career path after being diagnosed with PTSD and undergoing treatment herself seven years ago.

Dushku’s last role was in the 2017 action-adventure film The Saint.

She is best known for portraying Faith in seasons three, four and seven of Buffy. Dushku also played the same character in the spinoff series Angel, appearing in six episodes in seasons one and four.

She is also known for playing the cheerleader Missy in the 2000 cheerleading comedy Bring It On.

In her latest social media update – nearly a decade after she stopped acting – she showed her fans footage of her walking around Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox, while talking about training for a marathon.

She was talking to Boston Globe Media CEO Linda Pizzuti Henry about signing up for the Run to Home Base marathon to support local veterans.

In the video, she encouraged other people to join even if they walk instead of running the marathon set to take place in July.

‘I got to be honest, I’m getting a little nervous,’ she said to Henry at one point. ‘I run after my kids, that’s about the extent of it.’

She married Peter Palandjian in 2018 and shares sons Bourne, seven, and Bodie, five, with the billionaire businessman and former tennis player.

On Thursday, Dushku, now 45, shared a video of herself, in which she showed off her age-defying beauty as she talked about the annual marathon organized by the nonprofit she works for now

Another one of her recent social media updates showed her getting ready for a run and talking about the upcoming marathon.

On Thursday, May 21, Dushku posted a clip of her putting on her running shoes to go jogging.

She was makeup-free and sitting on the ground outside when she explained her motivation for running the marathon and shared why the organization ‘really matters’ to her.

‘Not gonna lie: I’m not running this because I love running,’ she said in the video and also wrote in her caption.

‘I’m running because the mission behind the Home Base Program is incredibly important to me,’ she continued.

In June 2025, the Bring It On alum graduated with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a focus on addiction, recovery and trauma at Lesley University. She also received a certification in psychedelic assisted therapy through a California university.

Since then, the retired actress has been working to treat patients using holistic psychology and psychedelic therapy.

Earlier this month, Dushku also returned to her alma mater to receive an honorary doctorate and give a speech at the commencement ceremony about her new career, working with veterans and their families as a mental health counselor at Home Base.

Late last year, Dushku confirmed she retired from acting after a 25-year career, which began with her first role at just age nine, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

‘I couldn’t get back to school long enough to figure out what my new career would be, so I kept acting,’ she explained as she recalled how she was preparing to go to college at age 17 when she was offered a role on Buffy.

Reflecting on her acting career after nearly a decade away from the limelight, she said: ‘I had many beautiful experiences. Certainly, I also had many harder experiences, which I’ve talked about, but I would be remiss if I didn’t truly highlight all the incredible people that I met and worked with.’

She told the outlet about how she celebrated 17 years of sobriety in November 2025 and also opened up about how psychedelic assisted therapy for PTSD inspired her new career path.

She previously accused Bull costar Michael Weatherly of sexual harassment and sued CBS after being written off the series in retaliation for reporting the incidents. In 2018, she received a $9.5 million settlement from CBS.

Separately, she also alleged that stunt coordinator Joel Kramer sexually assaulted her when she was 12 years old and filming the 1994 film True Lies. Kramer has consistently denied these allegations.

Prosecutors Drop Charges Against College Students in Boardwalk Disturbance; City Seeks Explanation

0

In a surprising turn of events, charges against college students accused of orchestrating a “takeover” event at a beach earlier this month have been dropped.

The Delaware Department of Justice announced the dismissal of charges due to a lack of evidence, as stated by Attorney General Kathy Jennings, according to a report by FOX29 Philadelphia.

Earlier in the month, it was confirmed by Fox News Digital that the Rehoboth Beach Police Department had arrested four students from Delaware State University. The students—19-year-old Xander Nicholl, 21-year-olds Angelin Clauvil and Eric Barnett, and 22-year-old Keyon Scott—faced charges of facilitating a riot and conspiracy in the second degree.

Chaos ensued when hundreds of young people gathered on the beach and boardwalk on May 19 after the alleged “takeover” event was advertised on social media.

The event led to several arrests for illegal drug use, underage drinking and disorderly, and disorderly conduct among others, with businesses shutting down early.

When the state DOJ dropped the charges, the City of Rehoboth Beach did not get the memo.

“The City of Rehoboth Beach has not been contacted by the Department of Justice regarding reports that charges arising from the May 19 beach takeover incident have been dismissed,” a spokesperson for the City of Rehoboth Beach told Fox News Digital in a statement. “Based on our current understanding, it does not appear that all relevant facts and circumstances have yet been fully reviewed. As such, we believe further explanation regarding the reported disposition of these charges would be beneficial to both the City and the public. In addition, the City has reached out to Fleur McKendall of the NAACP to arrange a meeting and discuss these matters. At this time, we have not yet received a response but remain willing to engage in a constructive dialogue.”

Germany Aims for Strong Comeback in 2026 World Cup Group E Predictions and Odds

0

Julian Nagelsmann and the German national team are eager to change their recent World Cup fortunes, given their underwhelming performances in 2018 and 2022. As the 2026 tournament approaches, they are poised for a resurgence.

Germany last claimed World Cup glory in 2014, triumphing over Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the final match. Now, with odds of 14/1, they aim to secure their fifth World Cup title, standing as strong contenders.

The German squad is heavily favored, with -325 odds, to lead Group E, which features Ecuador, Ivory Coast, and the debutant Curaçao. This group presents a diverse challenge on paper.

World Cup Group E prediction, odds

While Ecuador and Ivory Coast bring both physicality and length to the field, the superior technical skills and midfield prowess of Nagelsmann’s team are expected to guide Germany through the group stage without significant hurdles.

The length and physicality are present for both Ecuador and Ivory Coast, but the top-tier technical feel and midfield play of Nagelsmann’s Die Nationalelf should be more than enough to advance unscathed from group play.

This squad combines young talents like Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz with seasoned veterans such as captain Joshua Kimmich and goalkeeper Manuel Neur.

The Germans concluded their World Cup qualification matches with a decisive 5-1 record, avenging their only defeat to Slovakia and securing their spot last November.

At the core of the team is Musiala, who delivered strong performances at Euro 2024, scoring three goals in five matches. Along with Wirtz, they form a formidable attacking pair, but the roster also features several potential spark plugs, such as 18-year-old rising star Lennart Karl and Arsenal’s Kai Havertz.

Karl and Havertz contributed notable moments during the UEFA Champions League campaign.

Germany has a chance to reach the knockout stages for the first time in 12 years. The disappointment of their unexpected loss to Japan in 2022 should motivate them.

Although they are less popular than Spain or France, which might make them less noticeable, I believe they will finally break through.

United Airlines Flight Returns to Newark Due to Suspicious Bluetooth Device Name

0

United Airlines faced an unexpected disruption on a flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to Spain when it had to return mid-journey on Saturday due to a potential security concern.

The aircraft, which took off around 6 p.m. heading for Palma de Mallorca, Spain, made its way back to Newark, touching down at 9:37 p.m., as confirmed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Onboard were 190 passengers and a crew of 12 aboard the Boeing 767.

Audio from air traffic control revealed that an investigation ensued after a Bluetooth device was detected with a suspicious name reportedly including a troubling four-letter word. A passenger indicated that the word in question was “bomb.”

Social media accounts from those on the flight mentioned that the crew persistently requested that all Bluetooth devices be turned off, though a couple remained active. The decision to return was made after discussions with United’s headquarters in Chicago.

Upon landing, passengers were evacuated while Port Authority police conducted a thorough search of the aircraft. Travelers were also required to undergo additional screening by TSA and Customs and Border Patrol before being allowed to reboard. United Airlines has not disclosed further details about the incident.

Passengers boarded a replacement flight with a new crew, which took off early Sunday morning and landed in Palma in the afternoon.

This was the latest incident with a United Airlines flight this month. On Friday, a domestic flight was diverted because of a security concern with an unruly passenger. Earlier this month, a United flight landing at Newark airport struck a semitrailer truck and a light pole, though no one was injured.

Iran Halts Peace Negotiations, Leading to Collapse of Trump’s Ceasefire

0

Iran has decisively halted all diplomatic engagement with the United States, leveling accusations against Israel for breaking the ceasefire by targeting its proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.

On Monday, Iranian chief negotiators ceased using Pakistan as an intermediary to communicate with the U.S., as reported by the Iranian state-affiliated news source, Tasnim. Tehran has also issued a stern warning to completely close the Strait of Hormuz in response.

The Iranian government cited its belief that a crucial precondition for the ceasefire had been breached, pointing to the Israeli Defense Forces’ ongoing assaults on Hezbollah in Lebanon as the reason for the communication breakdown.

According to Tasnim, Iran stated that “No dialogue will take place” until Israel completely retreats from Lebanon and halts its operations in Gaza.

A regime official, speaking to state media, declared, “The resistance front and Iran have resolved to fully block the Strait of Hormuz and activate other strategic points like the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, as a means to punish the Zionists and their allies.”

The Trump administration has spent recent weeks trying to quell the fighting by brokering a temporary ceasefire between Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and Lebanon, but those efforts have not succeeded.

Oil markets went into a frenzy following news of the ceasefire’s collapse, with crude prices climbing more than six percent.

The closure of the strait, which moves one-fifth of all global oil, has raised gas prices across the globe for months.

Trump claimed on Friday that he would enter the Situation Room to review Iran’s latest offer to end the war

Just hours prior on Monday, Trump claimed that Iran ‘really wants to make a deal’ and that a comprehensive peace agreement with the regime remains within reach.

‘Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be a good one for the USA and those that are with us,’ Trump wrote on X in the middle of the night.

The Daily Mail has contacted the White House for comment.

The ceasefire’s collapse comes after Iran fired missiles and drones at a US airbase in Kuwait, in retaliation for American airstrikes that Washington described as ‘self-defense strikes’ against the regime’s radar and drone command facilities.

Israel remains hesitant to include Lebanon in the ongoing ceasefire with Tehran, viewing that conflict as separate from the broader war.

The US has tried to mediate between Israel and Lebanon over the past few weeks, pushing for a temporary ceasefire while Trump negotiates a long-term peace agreement with Tehran.

Israeli forces over the weekend captured a strategic site in Lebanon, marking their deepest military incursion into the country in over 26 years.

Israel captured Beaufort Castle, a medieval fortress in southern Lebanon that it had held until its withdrawal from the country in 2000.

Netanyahu vowed on Sunday to ‘deepen and expand’ Israel’s ‘grip’ over territory that remains under the control of Hezbollah.

Previously, negotiations between the US and Iran were at a standstill, as both countries were divided over Trump’s demand that Tehran completely abandon its nuclear weapons program and surrender its stockpile of enriched uranium.

Trump is attempting to secure a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that would delay official peace negotiations by another two months but result in the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Online Commentators Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur Denied Entry to UK for Scheduled Public Events

LONDON – British officials announced on Monday that they have barred Hasan Piker, a Turkish American digital streamer, along with another political commentator, from entering the United Kingdom to participate in public speaking engagements.

Piker, known for his liberal political perspectives and his critiques of U.S. President Donald Trump, Israel, and the conflict in Gaza, boasts a substantial following of 2.8 million on the streaming platform Twitch.

The Home Office revealed that the electronic travel authorizations (ETAs) for Piker and Cenk Uygur, the host of the online political show “The Young Turks” and reportedly Piker’s uncle, were revoked. The decision was made on the basis that their presence in the country might not serve the public interest.

The Home Office stated, “Refusal or cancellation of an ETA on these grounds is determined exclusively by evaluating the potential risk an individual might present to U.K. society.”

Piker and Uygur were scheduled to deliver talks at SXSW London, an event celebrating culture, technology, and creativity, this month. Additionally, Uygur had plans to speak at the Oxford Union, a respected forum for student debates.

“A sad state of affairs where obviously the interests of Israel take the highest priority,” Piker said on his YouTube channel.

Uygur said on X that he had been banned “for criticizing Israel. Are we free any more?”

Piker has faced criticism over some of his comments, including those in favor of the Hamas militant group, which is considered a terrorist organization in the U.K. and the U.S., among other countries.

Hamas-led militants stormed into southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, killing around 1,200 people and taking 251 hostage, in an attack that triggered the war in Gaza.

David Taylor, a Labour lawmaker who called for Piker to be blocked, said that “there is no reason we should open our doors to those who seek to spread hate and division, especially someone who’s supported a proscribed terror group.”

But Green Party leader Zack Polanski said that the government was “doing everything possible to silence criticism of the Israeli government.”

In April, the U.K. government barred the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, from entering the country, where he was scheduled to headline the Wireless Festival in London in July, after a backlash over his history of antisemitic remarks.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said at the time that his government “stands firmly with the Jewish community, and we will not stop in our fight to confront and defeat the poison of antisemitism.”

Amazon Employee Impresses Colleague at Fulfillment Center

Inset: Mohamed A. Hared (Dakota County Jail). Background: Amazon Fulfillment Center in Minnesota where he killed a co-worker over a missing flashlight (Google Maps).

A 26-year-old employee at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in Minnesota has been sentenced to prison for fatally shooting a colleague during a dispute over a missing flashlight accessory.

Mohamed A. Hared admitted to second-degree murder without intent and received a sentence of just over 10½ years for the killing of Ahmed Ibrahim Cariif, according to a press release. Hared has been credited for the 700 days he has already spent in custody.

The incident, detailed in a probable cause arrest affidavit, unfolded when officers from the Lakeville Police Department responded to several 911 calls around 4 a.m. on June 29, 2024. Reports indicated a shooting had occurred in the parking lot of the Amazon facility located on the 9800 block of 217th St. W. in Dakota County. Hared himself was among those who called 911, claiming he had “accidentally” shot his co-worker.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered Cariif face down between two vehicles, while Hared stood nearby holding a firearm. Another individual, referred to as “Witness 1,” also contacted authorities and awaited their arrival inside the facility. Tragically, Cariif was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities learned that Hared, Cariif, and the witness were colleagues and had traveled to work together using the witness’s vehicle.

Speaking to police, Hared — who has a firearm permit — said he brought his gun with him to work but left it in the witness’ car. At 1 a.m., he was on break and went out to the car and found his gun was still there, but claimed that a flashlight attachment on the firearm was missing. Hared accused Cariif and the witness of stealing the flashlight, which both denied.

The trio had another break at 4 a.m. and agreed they would all go and look for the flashlight in the car. Hared told police he put the gun back in his waistband while they searched.

Hared claimed that when he “politely” asked Cariif to return his flashlight, Cariif “became upset and made a stance indicating he wanted to fight.” He claimed Cariif “advanced” on him and threw a punch so Hared “had no other choice but to defend himself.”

According to Hared, he tried to run away, but Cariif chased after him and cornered him, which is when he pulled out the gun and said, “Stop man, I don’t want to have to use this,” but that did not deter Cariif, whom he claimed “continued to advance” on him.

“I don’t know if he reached for my gun but as soon as he jumped on me, out of nowhere I heard the first shot, I don’t know if I hit anything else,” Hared said, per police.

Hared told police that Cariif then began strangling him and attempted to pry the gun away from him, which is when the weapon accidentally fired and struck Cariif.

However, testimony from the witness, which was corroborated by security camera footage, undercut several of the defendant’s claims, police said.

The witness told police that when he and the other men couldn’t find the flashlight, he suggested they call security to review surveillance footage of the parking lot, but Hared refused.

“No. You guys took my flashlight,” Hared allegedly told the other two men. “I want my flashlight back. No one’s going home today.”

Hared and Cariif then got into a brief physical altercation that the witness broke up. Minutes later, there was a second physical altercation during which Hared took out his gun.

“When (Hared) pulled it out, (Cariif) tried to grab the gun. (Hared) shot towards (Cariif). The bullet struck the car,” the affidavit states. “(Cariif) then yelled ‘Don’t shoot me.’ Witness 1 yelled ‘Don’t shoot.’ (Hared) fired a second shot and (Cariif) fell to the ground. Witness 1 believes there was approximately three to five seconds in between the fired shots. Witness 1 ran inside the building out of fear of being shot and to call for help.”

A review of security camera footage showed that Hared threw the first punch in the men’s first altercation and that at no point during either fight did he attempt to retreat despite having multiple opportunities to do so.

“Instead, he engaged in the fight and at 4:09 a.m. (Cariif) was shot and fell to the ground in the walkway,” the complaint said.

An autopsy revealed that the bullet entered Cariif’s chest and struck his heart, lung, and aorta.

Iran Halts US Talks Amid Rising Tensions After Israel’s Beirut Strike

Iran has severed its indirect communications with the United States in response to Israel’s recent military actions in Beirut. This move disrupts ongoing efforts aimed at negotiating the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and resuming formal peace discussions.

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency announced on X that Iran’s negotiating team has halted “discussions and exchanges of texts through intermediaries.” This decision comes in protest against what Iran describes as the “Zionist regime’s ongoing crimes” in Lebanon. The agency noted that Lebanon was a crucial part of the ceasefire conditions, which have now been breached, affecting the truce on multiple fronts, including Lebanon itself.

Iranian officials and negotiators have stressed the urgent need for Israel to cease its military operations in Gaza and Lebanon and to withdraw completely from occupied Lebanese territories. Until Iran and allied resistance groups see their demands met, they have declared that no further dialogue will take place.

Additionally, Iran has issued a warning about escalating the conflict by targeting other strategic locations in the region. “The Resistance Front and Iran are determined to pursue the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz,” stated the agency, adding that they are also considering activating other strategic points, such as the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, as part of their strategy to retaliate against Israel and its allies.

“The Resistance Front and Iran have resolved to pursue the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the activation of other fronts, including the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, as part of their agenda to punish the Zionists and their supporters.”

The White House did not immediately respond for a request for comment.
