Elderly French Woman, 86, Detained by ICE in Alabama Amid Controversial Estate Dispute with Stepson

0

ANNISTON, Ala. (WIAT) — An 86-year-old French woman who relocated to Alabama to wed her former flame is now entangled in a legal battle and finds herself detained in an ICE facility in Louisiana. This comes just a few months after the passing of her husband, sparking a bitter dispute with his sons over inheritance issues.

Marie-Therese Helene Claire Ross-Mahé, who became the wife of William “Bill” Ross in April 2025, lived with him until his death in January. On April 1st, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrived at her Anniston home, taking her into custody while she was still in her nightgown and robe, as noted in filings with the Calhoun County Probate Court.

A neighbor reported that within an hour of Marie-Therese’s removal, her stepson, Gary Ross, along with his wife, appeared at the house, entered, and changed the locks. At that moment, Marie-Therese was embroiled in a legal dispute with her late husband’s sons, Gary and Tony Ross, over the estate. The judge presiding over the case has indicated that the sons may have played a role in their stepmother’s current situation.

The love story of Marie-Therese and Bill Ross dates back to the 1960s when they first crossed paths in France. Bill, who was serving in the U.S. Army, met Marie-Therese while she worked as a bilingual secretary at the NATO base near Saint-Nazaire, as her children recounted to Ouest France newspaper on April 10.

Court documents reveal that Bill Ross initially met both Marie-Therese and her friend, Michele Pierrette, at the same time. However, it was Michele who captured Bill’s heart, leading him to return to Alabama with her and marry her in 1962. Their marriage lasted until Michele’s death in 2018.

In 2010, the couple and Marie-Therese, who was already married and had three children, somehow reconnected, meeting up several times. Then, with her own husband dying in 2022, Marie-Therese and Ross, then a widow, took their relationship to a new level, her traveling from her home in Orvault to Anniston to see him.

By April 2025, Marie-Therese had told her children that she intended to marry Ross and move to Anniston to be with him. In doing so, she gave up her state-funded pension.

“A charming, adorable man,” Marie-Thérèse’s son told Oust France. “They were just like two teenagers.”

Things changed after Ross died on Jan. 24. According to court documents, Marie-Therese had told her stepsons that she did not want anything from her late husband, other than enough money to go back to France.

According to court documents, Ross’ sons came to the house the day after he died, where they allegedly took his truck and Mercedes-Benz C3000.

“Ms. Ross requested the Mercedes be left at her home for her use for occassional errands,” the documents stated. “W.A. (Tony) Ross; reason for removing the Mercedes was Ms. Ross does not possess an Alabama driver’s license. W.A. Ross initially testified he had driven the Mercedes-Benz to work a few times to keep the battery from draining but later testified he had also drive it to Auburn.”

A week later, Ross’s sons allegedly forced Marie-Therese to give their father’s phone to them, the court documents stated. The three then began a dispute over Ross’ estate, including the cars, his $173,000 home, and a bank account worth an estimated $1,500. During all this, the sons allegedly cut off water, electricity and internet at Marie-Therese’s home.

Prior to her being detained by ICE, Marie-Therese was set to have another hearing in probate court within days of her arrest.

In the wake of Marie-Therese’s ICE arrest, Calhoun County Probate Judge Shirley Millwood has pointed suspicion at Gary and Tony Ross, arguing that they had something to do with her being taken away.

“At some point, the brothers sent Ms. Ross an offer to pay her $10,000 in exchange for her signing a waiver and consent for them to be appointed Administrators of the estate and a disclaimer that would divest her of all interests in her statutory rights to inherit the estate,” Millwood’s order stated.

According to Millwood, Ross’ sons also rerouted all the mail going to Marie-Therese and his home, including mail from immigration services meant for her. At the time, she was reportedly in the middle of trying to get a green card.

In her order, Millwood alleged that Tony Ross, a former Alabama state trooper who currently works at the United States Federal Courthouse in Anniston, knew the day before Marie-Therese was going to be picked up by ICE, as well as reportedly receiving a text message within an hour of her arrest.

“After the brothers were unsuccessful in coercing Ms. Ross to accept their offer, this court believes William Anthony Ross used his position as a United States Federal Government employee for personal gain,” Millwood wrote. “This Court believes that Ms. Ross, an 86-year-old female, is sitting in a detention facility in Louisiana due to William Anthony Ross using his position as a United States Government employee.”

In the weeks since she was taken by ICE, Marie-Therese’s children have sounded the alarm, looking to do anything they can to get her out of the South Louisiana Processing Center in Basile, Louisiana, where she is currently being held.

“According to neighbors who testified in court, our mother would have won her case,” her son told Oust France. “But for us, the urgent priority is to get her out of this detention center and have her repatriated to France. Given her health, she won’t last a month under such detention conditions.”

“Given her age, we really want her to get out of this situation as soon as possible,” Sambou said. “We want to get her out of jail.”

Attempts to reach both Gary and Tony Ross were unsuccessful Thursday.

Pope Leo Criticizes ‘Tyrants’ Amid Trump’s Call for Pontiff to Grasp Harsh Realities

0

In Brief

  • During a visit to Cameroon on his African tour, Pope Leo says “the world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants”.
  • Donald Trump responded by saying the pope needs to understand the realities of a “nasty world”.

Pope Leo XIV has taken a firm stance against “tyrants” wreaking havoc globally during a highly secure visit to a conflict-ridden region of Cameroon. This comes amid his ongoing verbal clash with US President Donald Trump.

In recent days, tensions have escalated between Trump and Pope Leo, particularly regarding the pope’s outspoken criticism of the ongoing Middle East conflict.

On Thursday, Trump addressed reporters, asserting that while the pope is free to express his views on global affairs, he should also acknowledge the “nasty” realities of the world.

The president’s remarks followed a powerful address by the pope in northwestern Cameroon. This was part of his historic tour across four African nations, where he has more openly advocated for global peace than ever before.

During his speech in Bamenda, a city central to a prolonged English-speaking separatist conflict, Pope Leo declared, “Woe to those who exploit religion and the divine for military, economic, and political gain, dragging sacredness into darkness and corruption.”

“The world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants, yet it is held together by a multitude of supportive brothers and sisters,” the pontiff said at Bamenda’s Saint Joseph’s Cathedral.

Speaking later, Trump struck a more conciliatory tone than in recent days, but still sought to school the pope on the war in Iran.

“The pope has to understand Iran has killed more than 42,000 people over the last few months,” he said.

“They were totally unarmed protesters. The pope has to understand that. This is the real world, it’s a nasty world.”

He denied he was “fighting” with the pontiff, saying he had “nothing against” him.

‘Plunder’ of Africa

The barbs come after US Vice President JD Vance — a Catholic — urged the Vatican to “stick to matters of morality”.

But the mood was joyous as the pope arrived in Bamenda under a military escort in a popemobile with bulletproof windows, blessing the worshippers who had gathered, many singing and blowing vuvuzela horns, to welcome him.

As he left the cathedral, Leo released white doves, a symbol of peace in a region of the central African country he called a “bloodstained yet fertile land that has been mistreated”.

At Bamenda airport — renovated for his visit after being shut since 2019 because of the insurgency —Leo condemned the ongoing exploitation of Africa in a mass.

He criticised “those who, in the name of profit, continue to lay their hands on the African continent to exploit and plunder it”.

Cameroon is rich in natural resources such as oil, timber, cocoa, coffee and minerals, which have attracted both foreign firms and local elites for decades.

On arrival in the country on Wednesday, the pope appealed to Cameroon’s leaders to examine their “conscience” and tackle corruption and rights abuses, in an uncharacteristically pointed speech at the presidential palace attended by longtime President Paul Biya.

Leo’s trip comes six months after the authorities violently put down protests against 93-year-old Biya’s disputed re-election for an eighth term.

Bolstered security

Security measures had been stepped up on the main routes through Bamenda for the visit.

Cameroon’s two anglophone regions have suffered almost a decade of armed violence following attempts to secede from the rest of the mostly French-speaking central African country.

Teacher Vivian Ndey, 60, from Bamenda, welcomed the pope carrying a “plant of peace” as a symbol of hope.

She spoke at the cathedral of the difficulty of teaching during the crisis, saying teachers were afraid to come to class and students had vanished.

Conflict erupted after Biya, who has ruled since 1982, violently repressed peaceful demonstrations in 2016 by English speakers who felt marginalised.

Civilians have been targeted with killings and kidnappings. At least 6,000 people have been killed since 2016, according to the United Nations.

On Monday, separatist groups announced a three-day truce to welcome the pope.

After the Bamenda trip, Leo is to hold a mass at a stadium in the economic capital Douala on Friday, before leaving Cameroon for Angola on Saturday. He then travels to Equatorial Guinea.

Pete Davidson Flaunts Ink-Free Arms: See His Tattoo Transformation!

In a seldom-seen move, Pete Davidson showcased his bare arms to the public.

The comedian made an appearance at CinemaCon 2026, held at The Dolby Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, where he sported a casual ensemble of a short-sleeved shirt, sweatpants, and Crocs, representing Amazon MGM Studios.

His arms and hands were notably free of tattoos, a result of a six-year journey and an estimated $200,000 expenditure to erase his extensive ink collection, as reported by People.

A source mentioned, “He simply woke up one morning with the desire to have them removed, and it’s been a lengthy process ever since.”

Another insider shared that Davidson’s decision to erase his tattoos was motivated by the desire for a “fresh start.”

‘Things are really going well for him, everything is moving in the right direction, and he’s been receiving fantastic reviews for the movie,’ the insider added.

During an appearance on Today, Davidson opened up about how excruciating the tattoo removal process has been, describing it as ‘pretty terrible.’

‘So if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it,’ he said while showing the faded body art on his arm. ‘It’s pretty gone.’

The actor, who began the removal process in 2020, revealed that getting sober sparked his desire for a full transformation, including his appearance.

‘I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, “Nah. Who that?” I was like, “I got to change it up a little bit.”‘

Davidson checked into a wellness facility to seek mental health treatment in late July.

Back in 2021, Davidson confirmed that he was ‘burning off’ his tattoos so that he could get more film roles.

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the actor said he wants to have his tattoos removed so that he doesn’t have to spend ‘three hours’ in makeup every day getting them covered up.

‘I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act and I love it a lot,’ he said at the time.

‘You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much,’ he continued.

'He just woke up one day and wanted them gone, and it¿s been a years-long process,' the source revealed.

And Pete admitted the process of getting his ink removed is ‘worse’ than the pain that comes with the tattoo itself.

He told Seth, ‘So now I’m burning them off, but burning them off is worse than getting them.

‘Because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you’re wearing these big goggles, right? So you can’t see anything and the doctor’s in there with you,’ he continued.

‘So before he goes to laser each tattoo, you have to hear him announce what the tattoo is to make sure if you want to keep it or not.

‘So I’ll just be sitting there all high off of the [nitrous oxide] … and then all of a sudden I’ll just hear, “Are we keeping the Stewie Griffin smoking a blunt?” And then I have to sit there and be like, “No, Dr. G.”‘

Shocking Incident: High School Teacher Accidentally Displays Inappropriate Images During Class Presentation

0

Students at a high school in Washington were inadvertently exposed to explicit images during a classroom presentation, as stated in a letter addressed to parents by the school’s principal.

At Glacier Peak High School, located in Snohomish, Washington, students were unexpectedly shown images of nude breasts during a teacher’s slideshow presentation. Principal Alicia Mitchell communicated this incident to parents in a letter, which was later obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Dear Families, we want to inform you about an incident that occurred in a classroom where inappropriate images were accidentally displayed to students. We understand these images have spread beyond the classroom, and we want to provide you with the opportunity to discuss this matter with your student if you wish,” Mitchell wrote.

As the Snohomish School District launches an investigation into the matter, Jason Rantz of Seattle Red reported that Mitchell’s letter did not provide specific information regarding the teacher involved in the incident.

“Specifically, the content included images of nude breasts and were briefly visible during a teacher’s PowerPoint presentation. This does not reflect our expectations for classroom materials, and we take this matter very seriously. School administrators have already started taking steps to address this and are actively reviewing to assess this situation and appropriately address it moving forward.”

Rantz viewed the slide that allegedly showed the nude breasts, saying it contained “four photos of the breasts in small boxes, as if they’re previews of photos from a folder.”

Mitchell’s letter continued: “As this is a personnel matter currently under investigation, we’re unable to provide additional details or comment further. We take this matter seriously and are following established processes to review the situation and determine next steps.”

Savannah Authorities Advocate for Strict Adherence to Move Over Law for Enhanced Road Safety

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Authorities in Savannah are appealing to motorists to reduce their speed and give ample space to road workers.

This plea follows incidents where two sanitation employees were struck by vehicles while performing their duties in the last three weeks.

As of Thursday, both workers remain unable to return to their jobs as they recover from their injuries.

“I’ve personally been in situations where drivers didn’t move over, putting me at risk of nearly being hit,” shared Joshua Flynn, who serves as the public information officer for the Savannah Police Department (SPD).

Flynn is among the officials emphasizing the importance of driver vigilance and adherence to the Move Over Law.

The law states, when it is safe, drivers must move over one lane when emergency, sanitation or utility vehicles are stopped on the side of the road. If it is not possible to move over, they should slow down.

Jill Nagel, with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), said the streets serve as an office for construction workers fixing the roads.

“If you see any strobes or flashing lights on vehicles from blue, red or yellow, that means something’s going on on that roadway. So you need to slow down for the safety of the people that are trying to assist other people or make the roads better,” said Nagel.

Savannah mayor Van Johnson feels there are too many drivers that do not slow down for these situations on the roads.

“I’m asking you to pay attention because a moment of inattention can have lasting consequences,” Johnson said.

Workers on the roads have their own safety protocols to follow, but GDOT and SPD officials said it’s still important to be aware.

“Make sure that you know where they are so that you don’t cause an accident that would create even more of an issue,” said Flynn.

Teen Indicted for Gruesome Stabbing: 15-Year-Old Faces Charges in 93-Stab Attack

0

Inset: Savannah Copeland (Background: Mynatt Funeral Home). Background: Malakiah Harris during a court hearing for allegedly killing Savannah (WBIR).

A Tennessee grand jury has indicted a teenager, who was 15 at the time of the crime, for allegedly stabbing a 13-year-old girl 93 times along a trail and subsequently boasting about the act to his girlfriend as his “first body.”

Malakiah Harris, now aged 16, faces charges of first-degree murder for the tragic death of Savannah Copeland near Knoxville. Earlier this year, a judge ruled that Harris will be prosecuted as an adult.

According to reports, Savannah had allegedly sneaked out of her home in the early hours of October 22, 2024, to meet with Harris and his brother to acquire a vape.

In a statement to detectives, Harris claimed, “I turned around and she was coming at me,” as reported by local NBC affiliate WBIR.

However, investigators concluded that Savannah, who was just over 5 feet tall, did not pose a threat to Harris. The suspect is alleged to have continued the vicious attack even as Savannah attempted to flee and fell to the ground. After the assault, Harris and his brother reportedly left her body at the scene and returned home.

“All you need to know is it was self-defense,” Harris allegedly told his brother.

Savannah’s twin brother and Harris’ brother were friends, per cops.

Harris went to school the next day, where he allegedly told his then-girlfriend, “I got my first body.” He allegedly admitted to stabbing someone but did not identify the victim. He also texted a buddy the “deed is done” on the night of the slaying, cops say.

Savannah’s mother reported her missing when she realized she was not in the home that morning, detectives said, per WBIR.

There’s no known motive for the alleged murder, which does not sit well with Savannah’s father.

“I have — I guess you can say — a horrible, horrible fear that there’s not gonna be any kind of real motive and so there’s not gonna be a good answer to any of this, and that part breaks my heart as much as anything, and certainly if there’s other people who are involved or who were neglectful,” Michael Copeland told local CBS affiliate WVLT.

Savannah was a student at Powell Middle School and had hoped to attend the University of Tennessee to study forensic anthropology.

“She loved her family, she loved her friends, and she loved art,” her obituary said.

Boost in Rap Royalties: How Mamdani’s 2025 Mayor Campaign Benefited from Music Earnings

0

Zohran Mamdani, known to his fans as Mayor Zo, is seeing a modest increase in his income thanks to his music, despite his political career taking the front seat.

The former rapper, who once went by Mr. Cardamom, experienced a bump in royalties during his 2025 run for mayor. His recently released tax documents reveal a modest $2,700 earned from his music, a significant step up from his 2024 earnings, though not quite enough to claim hip-hop stardom.

The breakdown of his earnings shows that Mamdani garnered $1,643 from listeners in the United States. Meanwhile, international fans contributed an additional $1,075, as detailed in his publicly shared tax return.

His global audience has expanded as well. An estimated 550,000 people streamed Mamdani’s tracks in 2025, a notable increase from the 215,000 listeners recorded the previous year, according to Spotify’s revenue estimates.

About 550,000 people streamed his music worldwide in 2025, which is a boost from the 215,000 who listened the year before, according to an estimate based on Spotify profit payouts.

In 2024, he made $1,267 in total royalties, to go along with his state Assemblyman salary that remained at $131,000 year to year.

The bump in money for Mamdani came as he became a household name after he easily defeated former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and a slew of other Democrats in a primary last June.

His ascension continued as he won the general election in November and became one of the most recognizable politicians nationwide.

Mamdani traded in his rap career for politics when he launched his a successful state Assembly run in 2019. During his unremarkable stint as a rapper, he even appeared in a music video for his song “Nani,” where he showed up in a halal cart, shirtless except an apron.

“You know I’ll be forever spicy but I’m taking a break from being a spice to answer the question of what happens when a B-list rapper runs for office,” his alter-ego Mr. Cardamom tweeted in November 2019.

While the Democratic Socialists of America comrade earned six-figures, his wife, Rama Duwaji, failed to even pull in more than four-figures for her often touted artist career, the docs show.

She reported making $8,800 in 2025, according to the jointly filed tax return.

“$140,000 a year is more than enough for a socialist couple living in a rent stabilized apartment in Astoria,” political consultant Ken Frydman said in reference to the pair’s former pad in Queens.

“A $258,750 mayoral salary and rent-free mansion is way too much for a socialist couple living in Manhattan,” the operative quipped about Mamdani’s new salary and home as mayor.

The newly married couple were able to cash in on President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill — boosting their standard deduction from $29,000 to $31,500 — giving them a refund of $1,300.

San Pablo Showdown: Dump Truck Ditches Debris Back in Yard Over Unpaid Bill Dispute – Caught on Camera!

0

In San Pablo, California, what started as a routine dumpster rental quickly turned into a viral spectacle, as a local resident found themselves at the center of a payment dispute that culminated in a surprising turn of events. A neighbor’s surveillance camera captured the unfolding drama, which has since gained widespread attention online.

The incident involved Martin Perez, the proprietor of Express Rental Dumpster, who found himself in a difficult position after a customer allegedly failed to pay a $700 bill. According to Perez, the customer had repeatedly promised to settle the outstanding amount but then vacated the premises without fulfilling their obligation.

Feeling exasperated and out of options, Perez made the contentious decision to return the debris to the customer’s property. “We don’t want to do it, but I’m tired,” he explained, reflecting on the situation that left him with few alternatives.

In an interview with KGO, the ABC affiliate in San Francisco, Perez shared his side of the story. “We tried to collect the payment. The payment declined,” he stated, underscoring the frustration of his attempts to resolve the matter amicably.

“We tried to collect the payment. The payment declined,” he said.

He added that hauling the debris away anyway would have cost him another $1,000 out of pocket to dispose of. The debris, he pointed out, included appliances.

Perez said what frustrated him most was what he found left behind: two $1 bills and a smiley face drawn on the receipt.

“He leave me an invoice, $2 and happy face,” Perez said. “You think that ‘it’s like that,’ right?”

Perez said that’s when he decided to return the debris to the property.

The neighbor whose security camera recorded the dumping told KGO he understands the dispute but said the trash has now become a neighborhood issue. As of April 15, it had been nine days since the incident.

“This is not just between the driver and the neighbor. This started affecting all the community,” said the neighbor, who didn’t want to be named. He pointed to a nearby creek and park where kids play.

San Pablo police confirmed they received reports of illegal dumping but determined no crime was committed. The case is now in the hands of city code enforcement, and the violation notice was addressed to a name listed as the property owner.

Perez said his team cleaned up around the home to ensure no debris was left in the street or on the sidewalk.

“I feel bad because I don’t want to cause any issues,” he said. “But, sometimes, it’s hard doing this kind of work.”

Brittany Cartwright Weighs In on Tom Sandoval’s Potential Leap to ‘The Valley’ Drama

Brittany Cartwright finds it difficult to imagine Tom Sandoval joining the cast of The Valley.

“I don’t harbor any negative feelings towards Sandoval, but he doesn’t socialize with any of us,” Cartwright, 37, revealed exclusively to Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 15. “Maybe he connects with [Tom] Schwartz, but I rarely see Sandoval. None of us in the group really spend time with him.”

Cartwright expressed that it would be “quite unlikely” for the former Vanderpump Rules personality to suddenly integrate with a cast that includes Kristen Doute and LaLa Kent.

“I know him, and he and Tom have always been like brothers, maintaining a close bond,” Cartwright noted. “Of course, I wish Sandoval nothing but the best. We just have such a large cast. It’s quite a handful.”

Additionally, Brittany Cartwright is striving to establish a harmonious coparenting relationship with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor. “We’re working on improving our coparenting dynamic. It’s a work in progress,” Brittany, 37, shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Monday, March 30, while discussing the third season of Bravo’s The Valley. “It’s not simple,” she added.

During season 3 of The Valley, viewers are able to keep up with several cast members, including Luke Broderick, Janet and Jason Caperna, Danny and Nia Booko, Jasmine Goode, Jesse Lally, Michelle Saniei and Zack Wickham.

Last month, Us chatted with Sandoval, 43, as House of Villains kicked off a brand-new season on Peacock.

When asked about possibly joining The Valley, Sandoval said he has been approached in the past about making appearances.

Brittany Cartwright Reacts to Tom Sandoval Interest in Possibly Joining The Valley

Brittany Cartwright, Tom Sandoval

“I’ve gone back and forth about The Valley, you know, wanting to be on it, not wanting to be on it,” he shared in March. “I would be open to something, but it just depends on where I’m at in my life and, like, what’s happening. Obviously I’m not fully opposed to doing that.”

Sandoval noted that he has been approached to do “a quick little cameo on there [like a] pop in,” but hasn’t been asked to join the cast in a significant way.

If Sandoval agreed to the show, he would likely have to showcase his love story with his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson.

“She goes back and forth about it,” he told Us about whether his girlfriend wants to do reality TV. “It can be overwhelming. I mean, she sees how polarizing and how intense the fans can be.”

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Ups and Downs Over the Years

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s love story wasn’t exactly a fairy tale leading to their 2024 divorce. Taylor met Cartwright in between seasons 3 and 4 of Vanderpump Rules in the spring of 2015. Fans watched Cartwright move to Los Angeles to be with Taylor during season 4 of the reality series. While she quickly […]

As the drama continues to grow on season 3 of The Valley, Cartwright said she is trying her best to be friendly with everyone. While some viewers may want to see her pick a side, the Kentucky native is fine playing Switzerland.

“I just see the best in people, and I want the best for everybody,” she said about remaining neutral. “I don’t think that’s something that’s ever going to change about me. … I will stick up for myself a lot more now, but I just want everybody to be OK with each other and move past the petty stuff that they can get over.”

The Valley airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.

11th Mysterious Death in UFO-Anti-Gravity Research Sparks Global Intrigue

0

The mysterious death of a promising scientist has once again cast a shadow over the field of anti-gravity research, a domain already fraught with intrigue and speculation. Amy Eskridge, a 34-year-old researcher, tragically passed away under circumstances that have raised more questions than answers. Eskridge, who was exploring the potential of anti-gravity technology, was found dead in Huntsville, Alabama, on June 11, 2022, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. However, no official investigation details have been disclosed by law enforcement or medical examiners, leaving a void of information that fuels further speculation.

Eskridge’s work in anti-gravity was poised to make groundbreaking changes in how we understand propulsion and energy. The potential to manipulate or negate gravity could revolutionize space exploration and energy systems, making her research vital and highly sensitive. This area of study is not only of scientific interest but also a hotbed for conspiracy theories, particularly those involving unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Enthusiasts and researchers alike believe that anti-gravity technology might be the secret behind the extraordinary capabilities of alleged alien spacecraft.

Adding to the air of mystery, conspiracy theorists assert that the U.S. military has long been involved in secret experiments with such technologies. These claims are consistently denied by government officials, who maintain that there is no evidence supporting the existence of alien technology. Nonetheless, the lack of transparency surrounding Eskridge’s death and her research continues to stir debate and suspicion within both scientific and conspiracy circles.

Anti-gravity propulsion has also been widely discussed by UFO researchers, who have claimed this advanced technology is what allows alien spacecraft to achieve impossible speeds.

Conspiracy theorists have also claimed the US military has been experimenting with this technology for years, but the government has denied that alien technology exists.

In 2020, Eskridge stated she was planning to present novel foundational work regarding antigravity but needed approval from NASA.

Since her passing, shocking details, including an unearthed interview with Eskridge herself and independent findings submitted to Congress have claimed that the death was not a suicide and was instead part of an elaborate ‘murder’ conspiracy.

Eskridge’s death marks the eleventh person with ties to America’s space or nuclear secrets who has died or mysteriously vanished in recent years, putting US national security experts on edge.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Eskridge’s family as well as medical officials in Huntsville for comment on the circumstances surrounding her death.

The scientist also claimed that she specifically co-founded her research company, The Institute for Exotic Science, to create a ‘public-facing persona to disclose anti-gravity technology.’

Eskridge said during the podcast: ‘If you stick your neck out in public, at least someone notices if your head gets chopped off.

‘If you stick your neck out in private… they will bury you, they will burn down your house while you’re sleeping in your bed and it won’t even make the news. That’s why the institute exists,’ she warned.

However, the Institute for Exotic Science has apparently closed since its co-founder’s death, and its website is no longer accessible.

Files of the company’s records and mission statement have emerged online, including detailed studies of anti-gravity propulsion and pictures of alleged UFO-inspired aircraft.

Eskridge had founded the institute with her father, Richard Eskridge, a retired NASA engineer who specialized in plasma physics and fusion technology – another form of advanced propulsion. He reportedly served as the lab’s Chief Technology Officer.

In 2018, Eskridge and her father delivered a presentation on behalf of their company, HoloChron Engineering, describing both historical and modern experiments related to gravity modification, including alleged black projects said to be developing triangular antigravity craft known as the ‘TR3B.’

Eskridge spoke in a 2020 podcast interview where she had detailed a plan for the public disclosure of UFOs and extraterrestrials, but feared the threats against her were growing more and more dire.

Eskridge said: ‘I need to disclose soon, man. I need to publish soon because it’s like escalating. It’s getting more and more aggressive. This has been going on for like four or five years, and over the past 12 months, it’s been escalating, like more aggressive, more invasive digging through my underwear drawer and sexual threats.’

Before her death, Eskridge contacted retired British intelligence officer Franc Milburn for help investigating the incidents of harassment and intimidation she was allegedly the victim of, with Milburn ultimately concluding that her death was not from suicide.

Both Eskridge and Milburn documented multiple occasions where she had been subjected to physical and psychological attacks, including an unknown suspect firing a ‘directed energy weapon’ at her, causing burns across her body using powerful microwaves.

Milburn’s findings were submitted to Congress by independent investigators in 2023.

Journalist Michael Shellenberger testified before a public hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena that Eskridge was ‘murdered by a “private aerospace company” in the US because she was involved in the UAP conversation.’

Milburn said on the fringe science radio show Coast to Coast AM: ‘Somebody was after her work. It was either one of two main objectives. One, trying to get her to desist from doing the work, and two, with these attacks, with the harassment, and the directed energy weapon attacks, to actually stop her, to debilitate her so she was unable to do the work.’

Eskridge’s story appears to continue a growing trend of dead scientists who were researching key areas of technology or space exploration around the time they were murdered or found dead.

Since Eskridge died in 2022, five other prominent researchers have died, including two who were murdered in their own homes.

Nuno Loureiro, 47, was assassinated at his home in the Boston suburb of Brookline on December 15, 2025. Authorities said the gunman was Claudio Neves Valente, a former classmate from Portugal.

However, a former FBI official and independent investigators have noted that Loureiro’s revolutionary work in nuclear fusion may have made him a target of a greater conspiracy against US scientists.

Similar to Eskridge’s work with anti-gravity technology as a potential source for energy production and long-distance travel, Loureiro’s research centered on plasma physics, the study of super-hot, ionized gases, and how to apply them to fusion energy, a promising clean power source.

A breakthrough in this field could disrupt the trillion-dollar fuel industry by reducing demand for oil, gas, and coal, especially for generating power and transportation. High-demand users like data centers could also switch to fusion for reliable, green energy.

Another scientist was gunned down in an unprovoked attack at his home in California. Astrophysicist Carl Grillmair, 67, was killed on February 16, 2026, after being shot on his front porch around 6am local time.

The scientist had worked on the NEOWISE and NEO Surveyor, NASA’s infrared telescope projects that track asteroids but use the same physics as military systems for tracking satellites and missiles.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department named Freddy Snyder, 29, as a person of interest in Grillmair’s homicide case and later charged the man with murder, carjacking and burglary.

Meanwhile, NASA scientists Michael David Hicks and Frank Maiwald, who both worked at the space agency’s Jet Propulsion Lab in California, died from unknown circumstances at an early age.

Maiwald, 61, was the lead researcher on a breakthrough that could help future space missions detect clear signs of life on other worlds just 13 months before he died in 2024.

Hicks, who passed away in 2023 just a year after leaving JPL at age 59, had been involved with the DART Project, NASA’s test to see if humans could deflect dangerous asteroids away from Earth.

NASA’S JPL has not commented on the deaths of Maiwald or Hicks, and did not reply to the Daily Mail’s inquiries into the nature of the scientists’ work before their deaths.

In another mysterious incident, Jason Thomas, a pharmaceutical researcher testing cancer treatments at Novartis, was found dead in a Massachusetts lake on March 17, 2026, after disappearing without a trace three months earlier. Local police have claimed there was no foul play suspected.

As for the individuals who disappeared and still have not been found, four cases have been connected to missing Air Force General William Neil McCasland, who allegedly had knowledge of the government’s nuclear and UFO-related secrets.

Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett told WABC radio in New York that McCasland had been the key figure in America’s secret research into UFO and extraterrestrial technology before his retirement.

Burchett claimed: ‘He’s the guy that had a lot of nuclear secrets. I’ve been told by several sources that he was the gatekeeper for the UFO stuff.’

The strange circumstances surrounding the general’s disappearance on February 27 in New Mexico were almost identical to the four missing person cases taking place between May and August 2025 in the Southwest.

Nuclear research workers Steven Garcia, Anthony Chavez, and Melissa Casias and NASA scientist Monica Reza have all been tied to McCasland through his work overseeing the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL).

AFRL is also based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which has been rumored to study extraterrestrial technology since the 1947 Roswell UFO crash.

While at Wright-Patterson, McCasland oversaw and reportedly approved the funding for Reza’s work on a space-age metal for rocket engines called Mondaloy.

Reza, 60, disappeared while hiking with friends in California on June 22, 2025. She had just become the director of the Materials Processing Group at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

The three other disappearances all involved workers at some of America’s most important nuclear facilities, and all three were last seen walking out of their homes without their phones or keys, just like McCasland.

An anonymous source told the Daily Mail that McCasland also oversaw research at New Mexico’s Kirtland Air Force Base during his career, which works closely with the country’s nuclear labs on national security projects.

‘That entire mission runs out of Kirtland Air Force Base. A big part of it, including the technology and the production of the technology that they use, is all built in Albuquerque. So McCasland would have absolutely known and been to these facilities,’ the source revealed.
