Four Individuals Face Charges in Connection to Adelaide Father’s Tragic Death

Four additional individuals now face charges connected to the alleged murder of an Adelaide father, whose lifeless body was discovered in his workshop the previous year.

Chris Robertson, aged 49, was found deceased in a warehouse situated in Lonsdale, an industrial area, on September 30 of last year. Authorities noted that his body bore signs indicative of a brutal assault.

He was last spotted three days earlier, enjoying the AFL grand final with companions.

In December, Dylan Danaher, a 30-year-old former member of the Hells Angels, was accused of his murder. Today, police have announced that several others face various charges linked to the event.

Among those charged are a 33-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man from Happy Valley, both accused of multiple offenses, including two counts each of aiding an offender.

Two men from Christies Beach, aged 27 and 29, were charged with one count of carrying out threats or reprisals relating to persons involved in criminal investigations.

The four were refused bail and will appear in Adelaide Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

”We will not hesitate to investigate offending of this nature and will vigorously pursue prosecutions against any person found to be assisting those responsible, interfering with investigations or threatening witnesses,” Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said.

Danaher will next appear in court on July 7.

Colorado House Sitter Accused of Stealing U.S. Airman’s Dog and Car During Overseas Deployment

In a distressing turn of events, a U.S. Airman stationed in Japan has found himself embroiled in an unexpected crisis. Andrew Beckham, who entrusted his home and beloved pet to a house sitter during his deployment, now faces the harrowing uncertainty of his dog Maverick and his car being stolen.

Maverick, an 11-year-old Siberian husky, was last seen at Beckham’s residence in Aurora, Colorado. The trusted companion was allegedly taken by the house sitter, who reportedly experienced a “mental break” before disappearing. According to Beckham, this individual was responsible for caring for his home, but instead absconded with both the dog and Beckham’s 2014 Subaru Forester.

Beckham has taken to Facebook to appeal for help, sharing a Nest alert on April 3 that details the troubling situation. “I am looking for this person,” Beckham stated in the post. “He has stopped all contact and taken Maverick and my vehicle.” Alongside his post, Beckham included an image of the suspect and noted that surveillance footage captured the moment the sitter drove away, dog and car in tow.

The airman expressed concern over the house sitter’s mental state, describing the individual as experiencing paranoia and fleeing without any means of communication. The plea for assistance is not only a bid to recover his cherished pet and property, but also a cry for understanding in a situation clouded by unforeseen mental health challenges.

“(The house sitter) is having a mental break of paranoia and has run away with my car and dog 4 days ago with no contact and no phone,” Beckham wrote on Facebook.

The frustrated dog owner claims he hired the man off Trusted House Sitters — which connects pet owners with suitable sitters — and has reached out to the company asking for help locating him and his dog.

“He has not been found and he has my dog,” Beckham wrote.

Doorbell camera footage captured the nighttime dog heist as the man guided the dog out the front door and into the driveway, according to an image obtained by Fox 31 Denver.

“It was hard to see on my camera because he was taking Maverick out at night and then going in the car without telling me where he was going,” Beckham told the outlet.

Beckham revealed he allowed the worker to stay at his house during his deployment.

An hour before vanishing, the man allegedly called 911, claiming someone was trying to break into the home.

“He seemed scared of something. I don’t know what, but he seemed really scared,” Beckham said.

Maverick weighs approximately 60 pounds, has a missing toe on his front left paw, has mild arthritis and has one blue eye and one brown eye, according to a missing dog poster shared by Beckham.

“I feel like I’ve lost a part of home. Like there’s a hole in my chest where he should be. Maverick has been with me through deployments, through long days, through lonely nights. Losing him, it’s just heartbreaking,” he told the outlet.

The pooch is microchipped and is listed on several lost pet sites.

Beckham warned people to “not chase, call or whistle as this may cause them to run in fear and into danger.”

Neighbors have joined in the search for Maverick dog and his alleged abductor, driving around the Colorado city looking for Beckham’s missing car, as other volunteers printed out missing posters and plastered them around the neighborhood.

“I’m a dog person. My husband is Air Force. So those two items just told me I needed to do something,” Beckham’s neighbor Carla Wise told Fox Denver. “I drove to the airport, looked at two different, both the west and east parking garages, drove each one for about an hour this morning to see if I could help find the car… but the dog, that’s the main thing.”

“He’s out there. We’re going to get him. We’re going to find him,” she added.

CHICAGO — Two men were injured, one critically, in a shooting on the North Side of Chicago on Wednesday afternoon, according to fire officials.

The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. near the intersection of Western and Rosemont avenues in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.

Surveillance footage from a nearby auto shop captured a dramatic scene as one of the victims rushed inside, seemingly fleeing for his life before collapsing in the shop’s front area, according to the owner.

Chicago police reported that a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were walking on the sidewalk when they were targeted by an unknown assailant.

The 31-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the back and was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The 24-year-old was shot in the abdomen and taken to the hospital in fair condition, CPD said.

Chopper 7 was over the scene just before 5 p.m.

Chicago police and crime scene tape could be seen in front of an auto repair business.

Surveillance video showed two people running in a back alley before one person runs into the West Rogers Park auto shop off Western and Rosemont. The video shows the shop’s owner, Aamir Khan, as the man walks by him.

“He ran from the alley and he saw my door was open,” Khan said.

It happened after Khan and his employees heard about four loud gun shots outside.

“I was standing right by my in front of my office,” Khan said. “He just come right in front of me. I got a little like, you know, worried and scared that maybe he had a gun, but because I heard the shot.”

Khan said the man appeared to have at least one gunshot wound.

“We went into the office, locked the door. I thought maybe somebody was chasing him, you know? And then, then I called 911,” Khan said. “I talked to the police, they say it was a rifle. They had rifles.”

Area Three detectives are investigating.

Recent reports highlight a “danger zone” within the Traffic Separation Scheme, a critical pathway for maritime traffic through the strait.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — On Thursday, Iranian semiofficial media released a chart signaling that the country’s Revolutionary Guard may have strategically placed sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz during the conflict. This move could be an attempt to exert pressure on the U.S. amid the fragile calm of a recently established two-week ceasefire, just as new negotiations are poised to commence in Pakistan.

The charts, disseminated by the ISNA and Tasnim news agencies—both reputedly aligned with the Guard—depicted a “danger zone” label in Farsi over the Traffic Separation Scheme. This passage had been a key thoroughfare for ships navigating the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf, through which a significant portion of the world’s oil and natural gas once flowed.

The chart implied that vessels should consider steering further north, closer to Iran’s mainland near Larak Island, a route some ships resorted to during the conflict.

These charts, dated from February 28 to Thursday, April 9, leave ambiguity around whether the Guard has since removed any mines from the area.

U.S. President Donald Trump posted a statement insisting that his surge of warships and troops will remain around Iran “until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with.”

Trump’s comments on his Truth Social platform appeared to be a way to pressure Iran.

“If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the ‘Shootin’ Starts,’ bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before,” Trump wrote.

He also insisted Iran would not be able to build nuclear weapons and “the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN & SAFE.”

The U.S. and Iran both claimed victory after reaching the ceasefire agreement, and world leaders expressed relief. But more drones and missiles hit Iran and Gulf Arab countries after the deal was announced.

At the same time, Israel intensified its attacks on the Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon, hitting commercial and residential areas in Beirut. At least 182 people were killed Wednesday in the deadliest day of fighting there.

The violence threatened to scuttle what U.S. Vice President JD Vance called a “fragile” deal.

Iran’s parliament speaker said Wednesday that planned talks were “unreasonable” because Washington had broken three of Tehran’s 10 conditions for an end to the fighting. In a social media post, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf objected to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah, an alleged drone incursion into Iranian airspace after the ceasefire took effect and U.S. refusal to accept any Iranian enrichment capabilities in a final agreement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi insisted that an end to the war in Lebanon was part of the ceasefire deal, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump said the truce did not cover Lebanon. When the deal was announced, the prime minister of Pakistan, which served as a mediator, said in a social media post that it applied to “everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere.”

A New York-based think tank warned the ceasefire “hovers on the verge of collapse.”

The Soufan Center said Israel’s strikes on Lebanon on Wednesday added to the risk the deal would fall apart.

“Even if Lebanon was formally outside the deal, the scale of Israel’s strikes was likely to be viewed as escalatory, nonetheless,” it wrote in an analysis published Thursday. “Israel’s strikes can be understood both as an effort to drive a wedge between Iran and its proxies and as a response to being allegedly sidelined in the original ceasefire discussions.”

A powerful cyclone, poised to set new records, is expected to make its way towards Australia’s coastline, placing a flood-prone area on high alert once again.

Severe Tropical Cyclone Maila is predicted to shift towards far north Queensland on Thursday, after lingering for several days between the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

This category 4 cyclone is currently unleashing wind gusts reaching up to 260 km/h, having already earned the distinction of being the most intense cyclone ever recorded so far north in the Solomon Sea.

As it approaches Papua New Guinea, the cyclone is anticipated to lose some of its strength before gradually approaching Queensland’s coast, with the possibility of making landfall next week.

Communities in far north Queensland remain cautious about the cyclone’s arrival, as its expected trajectory bears resemblance to that of Cyclone Narelle, which crossed the coast in March.

Maila is currently forecast to make landfall between Cooktown and Lockhart River on Tuesday as a category 2 system, the Bureau of Meteorology’s (BoM) Jonathan How said.

“There is still some variation in the exact timing among the computer models, but confidence is increasing that Maila’s track will take it towards northern parts of Cape York peninsula,” he said.

“But it is still five days away, and Maila’s exact path, timing and strength will be influenced by a number of factors before then.”

Maila is on track to cross close to where Narelle hit Cape York on 20 March before it left a trail of damage across the Top End and Western Australia.

It regained strength after crossing northern Australia and slammed into WA’s north-west, peaking as a category 4 system as it destroyed buildings, brought down trees and triggered flooding.

On Thursday, the weather bureau warned that Cape York communities could expect further damaging to destructive winds, potentially intense rainfall, flooding and coastal erosion upon Maila’s arrival.

Another cyclone would be a blow to a region still cleaning up Narelle’s mess.

Maila was at one stage rated a category 5 system before it resumed its slow march toward Australia.

Maila’s location at sea has so far kept the most damaging winds away from major population centres.

Footage showed destruction of property in remote parts of the Solomon Islands’ Western and Choiseul provinces.

National broadcaster SIBC reported that three members of one family had gone missing after a boat capsized in heavy seas.

BoM senior meteorologist Liam Smart told AAP Maila was a record-setter for the region.

“It’s the strongest cyclone this far north in the Solomon Sea on record,” he said.

While it is technically possible for cyclones — known in the northern hemisphere as hurricanes or typhoons — to form at just one degree north or south of the equator, it is exceedingly rare.

Charlotte Light-Rail Murder Case: Suspect Deemed Unfit for Trial Amidst Bizarre Claims

The individual accused of the tragic murder of a young woman on a North Carolina light-rail train has been found mentally unfit to face trial in the state-level proceedings, as detailed in recently released court documents.

Decarlos Brown Jr., aged 34, faces charges for the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Ukrainian national Iryna Zarutska while they were on board the Lynx Blue Line in Charlotte, which occurred on August 22, 2025.

According to documents obtained by Fox News, an assessment from Central Regional Hospital concluded that Brown is “incapable to proceed” with the forthcoming state criminal trial. This determination is distinct from the federal case he is also confronting related to the incident.

Brown, who is homeless and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, is currently held on separate federal charges in connection with the alleged murder.

Brown’s attorneys have since asked the court to reschedule a hearing set for April 30, noting that any attempt to “restore capacity” regarding his mental state cannot be established while he remains in federal custody. 

The request will ultimately delay Brown’s case as he awaits a psychiatric evaluation. 

Brown, a parolee with numerous run-ins with the law, reportedly has a history of mental illness, according to family members.

By March 2024, authorities had already documented six interactions with Brown, including various welfare checks in response to repeated 911 calls he made, according to The New York Times. 

Just one year later, Brown placed a 911 call from Novant Presbyterian Hospital in which he said he needed help removing a “man-made” material that was controlling him, the Charlotte Observer reported. 

When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly told him they were unable to help.

Brown made similar claims in a jailhouse phone call to his sister just days after Zarutska’s alleged murder.

In the call obtained by the Daily Mail, Brown said he did not understand why he stabbed the 23-year-old refugee while claiming that the government had implanted “materials” in his brain that were “controlling” his actions.

“They just lashed out on her, that’s what happened,” Brown said. “Whoever was working the materials they lashed out on her. That’s all there is to it. Now they really gotta investigate what my body was exposed to… Now they gotta do an investigation as to who was the motive behind what happened.”

Surveillance video shows Zarutska entering the train car and sitting down in front of Brown. 

Roughly four minutes later, Brown allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed her three times from behind before departing the train.

Zarutska was pronounced dead at the scene, with Brown being taken into custody minutes later on the light-rail platform. 

Brown is facing both federal and state charges stemming from the alleged attack, and is expected to remain in federal custody as he awaits trial.

A U.S. magistrate judge previously ordered a second federal psychiatric exam ahead of his pending case, according to the Charlotte Observer. 

Brown’s attorney has reportedly asked that his state hearing be postponed for six months, with prosecutors agreeing with the delay.

Brown’s attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The individual who confessed to distributing the ketamine linked to Matthew Perry’s tragic demise has received a 15-year prison sentence, accompanied by a subsequent three years of supervised release.

Known among her clientele as the “Ketamine Queen,” Jasveen Sangha admitted guilt to five federal charges connected to the 2023 overdose of the beloved Friends actor.

Sangha has remained in federal detention since her apprehension in August 2024.

Federal prosecutors, in a filing dated March 25, advocated for a 15-year imprisonment term.

Legal representatives from the Central District of California depicted Sangha in their submission as a ‘drug dealer whose actions harmed individuals.’

When it was revealed that she had sold the drugs responsible for Perry’s death, the prosecutors stated that ‘she didn’t care and kept selling.’

On October 28, 2023, Perry was found unresponsive in a jacuzzi at his Pacific Palisades home and was declared dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined that Perry’s death was caused by an accidental ketamine overdose. 

The prosecutors also wrote in the filing that ‘Sangha’s actions show a cold callousness and disregard for life. She chose profits over people, and her actions have caused immense pain to the victims’ families and loved ones.’ 

Sangha’s defense team argued that she has ‘acknowledged her role in serious criminal behavior’ and requested the court to consider a sentence based on time already served.

‘She does not minimize that conduct or the gravity of the consequences charged in this case,’ the lawyers added.

According to the US attorneys handling the case, Sangha collaborated with Erik Fleming to supply ketamine to Perry.

In the same month that Perry passed away, Sangha and Fleming sold 51 vials of ketamine to the actor, which were then handed over to Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s personal assistant, prosecutors said.

Iwamasa administered the ketamine to Perry on several occasions leading up to the fatal overdose, including at least three injections on the day of his death, according to the prosecution.

After hearing about Perry’s death in news reports, Sangha contacted Fleming via the encrypted messaging app Signal.

In August 2024, Fleming admitted to charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and distributing the drug, which led to a death. 

Similarly, Iwamasa pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges related to ketamine distribution resulting in death, with both men scheduled for sentencing later this month. 

Sangha pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including maintaining a drug-involved property, distributing ketamine three times, and distributing the drug, which led to death or serious injury. 

Prosecutors revealed she had been using her residence as a base for storing, packaging, and distributing narcotics, such as ketamine and methamphetamine, since at least 2019. 

Perry battled addiction for many years, a struggle that intensified during his time on Friends, when he became one of the biggest stars of his generation as Chandler Bing.

His rise to fame alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer on the iconic Friends sitcom from 1994 to 2004 was overshadowed by personal struggles. 

Perry openly admitted that his addiction issues frequently interfered with his work during those years.

Captured! Justin Craft Jr. Apprehended After Daring Escape from Piedmont Augusta Hospital; Second Suspect Also Arrested

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has successfully apprehended an escaped inmate.

Authorities have detained 33-year-old Justin Craft, Jr., bringing an end to his brief stint at large.

Craft was apprehended at approximately 2:38 p.m. on Wednesday on Drayton Drive. The operation was a collaborative effort between the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Gang Task Force and the United States Marshals Service.

Craft managed to escape from Piedmont Hospital on Tuesday evening around 8 p.m. while being held on charges pending in Richmond County.

The charges against him include:

• Robbery (Purse Snatching – Forcible)
• Battery
• Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer
• Giving False Name
• Escape (Persons Not Convicted)

This all stems from an incident earlier in the day.

RCSO Deputies responded to a home on the 3000 block of Mercedes Drive about a previous reported theft and property damage complaint. Up arrival, authorities spoke with a representative from the electric company who reportedly told them that extension cords were being run from the Mercedes Drive home to a home on Algernon Circle.

Deputies located Craft and several others in a shed on the property, including a woman who was bleeding from her hand. As authorities approached the group, Craft went into the home, as the others dispersed. The injured woman, identified as Craft’s ex-girlfriend, wanted to press charges.

Craft reportedly began running away from the other side of the house as deputies called for back up; a chase ensued. After law enforcement instructed the suspect to stop and he didn’t, he was tased and arrested.

Reports say Craft gave false information to deputies including name and date of birth. He also reported told deputies that he ingested an unknown quantity and type of narcotics. He was transported to Piedmont Hospital for a medical clearance. Upon clearance, he was to be transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center for charges listed above.

Authorities say Craft was last seen running shirtless with blue jean pants in the area of Tenth Street after 8:30 Tuesday evening.

The Sheriff’s Office goes on to thank the Marshals Service for their assistance in capturing Craft.

A second arrest was made on Wednesday in connection with the apprehension of escape suspect Craft.

According to authorities, at the time of his arrest, Craft was located inside a vehicle driven by Latoya Vonishay Lovett, a 34-year-old Augusta resident.

Authorities say following the investigation, Lovett was charged with Harboring or Concealing a Fugitive and was taken into custody and transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

In PIATT COUNTY, Illinois, a man from Farmer City has been convicted nearly one year after a tragic accident that resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries. The incident involved charges of driving under the influence.

On Wednesday, Jason Sharp, aged 45, was found guilty by a jury on four counts of aggravated DUI. This verdict follows a detailed examination of the events surrounding the crash.

As previously covered by WCIA, the Piatt County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a serious two-car collision with injuries on April 13, 2025. The accident occurred at the intersection of 2500 North Road and 800 East Road around 3:20 p.m.

Authorities reported that Sharp was traveling west on 2500 North Road when he ignored a yield sign at the intersection with 800 East Road. This led to a collision with a northbound vehicle, causing it to overturn.
