In a chilling courtroom revelation, it was disclosed that Lindsay Clancy uttered the words ‘Go to God’ while strangling her middle child using an exercise band, a psychiatrist testified.

Dr. Avram Mack, tasked with evaluating Clancy on behalf of the state in April 2026, took to the witness stand on Friday afternoon to recount the grim sequence of events leading to the murders in 2023.

According to Mack, Clancy confided that she heard a loud, commanding male voice that afternoon instructing her: ‘You should kill the kids. This is your last chance so you can kill yourself.’

Mack revealed that Clancy first led Dawson to the basement, where she wrapped an exercise band around his neck and strangled him, continuously repeating ‘Go to God’ as she carried out the act.

The testimony further detailed how Clancy proceeded to strangle Cora and Callan, before withdrawing to the bedroom in an attempt to end her own life.

Once upstairs, Mack testified that Clancy took medication from the room, cut her wrists and neck, then ’caused herself to fall from the window’ after cutting through the screen. 

After laying bare the chilling details of her children’s final moments, the psychiatrist told the court he believed Clancy had the capacity to be held criminally responsible when she ‘methodically’ killed her three children. 

When asked about the last words Clancy said to her children, he testified that the phrase was ‘not only hope for the children but a description of the situation.’ 

According to Mack, Clancy awoke after the murders overcome with immediate horror and shame – feelings he said showed she knew what she had done was wrong. 

‘The deaths were done one by one in a way that was organized and tended to achieve a particular goal,’ he explained. ‘Her attempt at suicide was also organized in that it included as many methods as possible.’

The revelations came as Mack detailed the hours before the killings, saying Clancy reported having a ‘good day’ and her husband, Patrick, told welfare officials it was the best day she had experienced in a long time. 

‘She described the day as being a fun and productive day,’ he said. But he said that behavior was ‘not inconsistent with suicide’ and did not necessarily contradict the depressive disorder she had.

Mack explained that some people experience an improved mood immediately before attempting suicide, adding that hallucinations can be either persistent or sporadic in people experiencing delusions. 

Just hours earlier, defense expert Dr Phillip Resnick testified that Clancy had Bipolar II disorder with severe depression and was ‘frankly psychotic’ when she killed her children. 

Clancy’s diagnosis has become a major battleground in the trial.

Her providers have testified that she did not meet the criteria for bipolar disorder or psychosis, while the defense argues that she was in the grip of psychosis and command hallucinations that prevented her from controlling her actions. 

Mack, who evaluated Clancy two years before the killings, testified that he found no evidence of mania or hypomania in her records and no basis for a bipolar disorder diagnosis.

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, an ex-student-athlete from the University of Kentucky has admitted guilt in the case concerning her baby’s death, a heartbreaking incident wherein the infant was discovered inside a trash bag hidden in a closet.

The 22-year-old Laken Snelling, who was part of the university’s STUNT team, shifted her plea from not guilty to guilty last Friday, acknowledging her involvement in the newborn’s demise, according to FOX 56. Indicted by a Fayette County grand jury, she faces serious allegations, including abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and concealing the birth.

In a moment of raw emotion in court, Snelling confessed, “I was under a lot of emotional stress, and my baby came unexpectedly. And instead of helping him, I ended his life and afterward I cleaned up and didn’t tell anyone,” she said through tears.

When asked by Judge Diane Minnifield how she ended the baby’s life, Snelling said: “I deprived him of oxygen.”

Commonwealth’s attorney Kimberly Baird said that Snelling’s attorney approached prosecutors as plans changed.

“This was a case that needed to go straight to the grand jury anyway, as opposed to just entering a plea,” Baird said, according to the news outlet. “The grand jury returned the indictment for first-degree manslaughter, and then they returned and suggested that offer. We accepted.”

Officers in Lexington responded to reports of an unresponsive infant on Aug. 27, 2024, and found the child’s remains inside a black trash bag, according to a news release from the city of Lexington. The baby’s body was cold.

Snelling was arrested days later. She told staff at the University of Kentucky hospital that she heard the newborn “whimper” at birth and “guessed” he was alive, according to an affidavit previously cited by FOX 56.

The baby also showed “a little fetal movement,” the court document stated. Snelling told investigators that she was awake for 30 minutes after giving birth before passing out on top of the baby. When she woke up, she saw the newborn “turning blue and purple,” court documents state.

She believed the baby was dead, so she “wrapped him like a burrito” and laid next to him, saying it “gave her comfort,” officials said. At some point, she told her roommates that she was going to see a doctor because she had fainted from not eating.

Afterward, she picked up McDonald’s and went to the student health clinic but “did not go inside,” the affidavit stated.

A subsequent search of Snelling’s phone revealed she had deleted labor photos and evidence of the pregnancy, police said.

Snelling faces up to 10 years in prison.

Vivienne, the 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt, is taking significant steps to officially remove her father’s last name. She has announced her intentions through a published notice in The Los Angeles Daily Journal.

The move comes as Vivienne—whose mother is Angelina Jolie, 51, Pitt’s former wife—seeks a legal name change from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. This information, highlighted in the newspaper notice, was reported by TMZ.

Publishing such an ad is a routine part of the process required by the court when one seeks an official name change.

Vivienne adhered to protocol by issuing the notice weekly for four consecutive weeks, starting July 24 through August 14.

The court invites any objections to this name change, which must be filed in writing before a hearing scheduled for November 2. In the absence of any opposition, a judge is expected to grant the name change.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Pitt and Jolie for comment.  

Last month, Jolie’s reaction to Vivienne filing to drop her name was revealed.

Vivienne followed in the footsteps of her three older siblings and filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The reason behind the teenager’s name change was listed as ‘personal,’ according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail. 

A source close to Jolie told People that she is looking for ‘everyone to heal.’

The insider said: ‘If people knew the whole truth, they would have more sympathy for the children and respect them. The fact they aren’t speaking ill or sharing things publicly only shows their decency.’

‘Angie hasn’t been fighting and isn’t angry. She just wants everyone to heal.’

The petition is only the latest move in Vivienne’s ongoing effort to distance herself from the Pitt name.

Back in May 2024, she notably dropped her father’s surname in the Playbill program for the Broadway production of The Outsiders, listing her name as Vivienne Jolie while serving as a producer alongside her mother.

Born in 2008 alongside twin brother Knox, Vivienne is the youngest of the former couple’s six children. 

A source recently told the Daily Mail that Pitt views the rift with his children as ‘deeply painful’ and ‘believes Angelina’s role in how things unfolded is the ultimate betrayal.’ 

It comes days after the actor’s daughter Zahara, 21, and son Maddox, 25, published notices revealing their intentions to drop Pitt from their last names.

The advertisements were both published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal throughout June and July.

‘Petitioner Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt filed a petition with this court for a decree changing names as follows: Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie,’ one notice stated.

‘Petitioner Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt filed a petition with this court for a decree changing names as follows: Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to Maddox Chivan Jolie,’ the other said.

The notices both invite dissenting parties to appear at a scheduled hearing over the matter; Zahara’s is scheduled for September 28 while Maddox’s is on September 14.

In the state of California, those seeking to legally change their name must publish an Order to Show Cause, a document requesting the name change, for four weeks in a row in a newspaper before their court date.

Zahara’s notice appeared a month after she filed a petition requesting that her new name be Zahara Marley Jolie.

Maddox also filed to drop the actor’s last name in late May.

Zahara publicly dropped the last name three years ago when she joined a sorority at Spelman College.

She also went by Zahara Marley Jolie during her graduation ceremony, which her father reportedly skipped, according to TMZ.

‘Nothing prevented him from showing up for her. Or ever visiting her. The day was about all she accomplished. Not whether he was willing to attend,’ a source close to Jolie told the publication.

However, multiple sources have exclusively spoken to the Daily Mail in defense of Pitt, insisting that he is not the absent father he has been portrayed as and that he wants a relationship with his six children.

Jolie and Pitt’s other daughter Shiloh, 20, has also dropped the actor’s last name. 

Last year, Shiloh, who was born Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie.

At the time, in a statement shared with People, Shiloh’s lawyer Peter Levine said she ‘made an independent and significant decision following painful events,’ adding that she was ‘merely following legal process’ when publishing notice of the change. 

Pitt’s relationship with son Pax, 22, who previously called his father a ‘world-class a**hole’ and accused him of making his younger siblings ‘tremble in fear,’ doesn’t seem to be any better, though it is not known if he has stopped using the name as well. 

A source previously told the Daily Mail how Pitt felt after Pax was pictured stumbling out of the Chateau Marmont last year propped up by several friends.

‘He has zero concern with what Pax does or doesn’t do. [Pax’s] actions reflect who he is,’ the insider said. 

‘Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable,’ they added.

The source went on to say that the actor doesn’t appear to be planning any outreach to either of his adopted sons: ‘Pax and Maddox have made it abundantly clear how they feel and Brad has nothing to say about either of them.’ 

As for his other children, the source said that Pitt ‘holds out hope that the others will one day come around. Time heals wounds.’

A source close to Jolie also hit back at her ex-husband at the time and said: ‘Brad continues to play the victim. His fractured relationship with his children is a direct result of how he has treated them.’

After meeting on the set of the 2005 film Mr and Mrs Smith, Pitt and Jolie were seen as Hollywood’s ‘It’ couple during their long-term relationship.

Following his bitter divorce, Pitt has moved on with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 33, whom he’s been dating for the last few years. 

A freshly released booking photo offers a scrutinized look at the face of the accused—an Albany woman allegedly committed to ISIS, who aimed to wreak havoc with a bomb at the New York State Capitol. The attack was reportedly designed to cause widespread casualties, including targeting state senators.

The 35-year-old Jessica Bowie is captured in a stark three-view booking photo taken at the Schenectady County Correctional Facility. This image presents a drastic change from the surveillance photos disseminated during the investigation, where she was depicted cloaked in a burka.

As the investigation unfolds, an FBI affidavit reveals Bowie’s transformation from an ordinary social media user into a fervent ISIS adherent. Authorities suggest she meticulously planned her attack, spending several weeks surveying the Capitol’s premises and advancing her violent agenda.

Bowie converted to Islam about five years ago and adopted the name “Aisha Saif,” according to the affidavit.

During her exchange with undercover agents, Bowie discussed her conversion to Islam, sharing that she had gone from “a little girl waving an American flag after 9/11” to having stickers depicting the falling towers, according to investigators.

Investigators said she maintained more than a dozen social media profiles, many of which were repeatedly suspended for violating platform rules.

By May, accounts linked to Bowie were sending messages that the FBI characterized as “support for terrorism.”

“Praise be to Allah for September 11th,” Bowie allegedly wrote to another user in Arabic on May 28.

In another message that month, she allegedly wrote: “When I can migrate, I will poison these infidels.”

The FBI says Bowie also repeatedly pledged “bayah,” or allegiance, to ISIS and sent audio recordings of herself making the pledge to people she communicated with online.

By July, according to investigators, her rhetoric had turned into a plot to attack the New York State Capitol building in Albany.

An FBI confidential source posing as an ISIS facilitator began communicating with Bowie through an encrypted messaging app on July 16. Bowie allegedly told the source she wanted help making explosives and identified the New York State Capitol as her target.

“I would like to target [the] state capitol,” she allegedly wrote.

Bowie told the source she wanted to benefit ISIS and “harm the enemies of god,” the affidavit says.

Investigators said Bowie soon began repeatedly scouting the Capitol.

Between about July 21 and Aug. 9, she walked around the building on roughly five separate occasions, taking photographs of the Capitol and surrounding area while studying its security, according to the FBI.

On one visit, she allegedly sent dozens of images to the confidential source and said she planned to have picnics nearby and drink coffee in the observation hall so she could learn more about the building.

By July 29, Bowie allegedly told the undercover source what she wanted the attack to accomplish.

“I want to destroy as much of the building as possible and kill the senators while they are meeting,” she told the source, according to the affidavit. “I want it to have a [sic] affect on the American system.”

That same day, investigators say Bowie discussed concealing the explosive in a bag that would make her appear to be a food-delivery worker.

“Blowing kafirs brains out is beautiful,” she allegedly told the source while discussing her desire to escape to Syria after the bombing.

The alleged plot grew more detailed during an Aug. 5 meeting with two additional FBI confidential sources whom Bowie believed were connected to ISIS.

Bowie said she ideally wanted to strike when the greatest number of senators were inside and use an explosive powerful enough to kill them and destroy as much of the Capitol as possible, according to the affidavit.

When one of the sources discussed the size of the device that would be required, Bowie allegedly made clear that a small death toll would not satisfy her.

“I want something that’s gonna do the job,” she said, according to the affidavit. “I don’t want to take this kind of risk and then have it kill what, two or three people what good is that?”

Killing the senators, she allegedly said, was “the most important part.”

Bowie also spoke about potential future targets.

“Ideally, it would be the White House with the President,” she allegedly said, before calling it a more difficult target and describing the Capitol as the biggest political building she could readily reach.

She separately discussed returning to the United States after fleeing and carrying out additional violence, including around New Year’s Eve in Times Square, according to the affidavit.

On Aug. 5, Bowie allegedly used $200, supplied by one of the FBI sources, to purchase materials at a Home Depot in Rensselaer, New York, that she believed would be used to construct the explosive device.

The FBI says she spent about 28 minutes inside the store and emerged with materials that included a large container of nails.

“I hope the nails are big enough … because the nails work as shrapnel, right?” she allegedly asked after returning to the vehicle.

A photo released by the Department of Justice allegedly captured the suspect checking out at the Home Depot store.

Bowie also told investigators she had a DoorDash bag that could conceal the finished device and delivered the bags to confidential sources the following day, according to the complaint.

She later referred to the planned attack as an “operation give taghut the boot,” according to the affidavit.

By Aug. 13, Bowie was allegedly seeking a handgun she could conceal beneath her clothing and use to shoot at police if officers approached her during the attack.

Six days later, she met again with the confidential sources and paid $150 for what she believed was a handgun, magazine and ammunition. The gun was inert. She was also shown an inert explosive device that she was told had been assembled using the materials she bought at Home Depot.

During that final meeting, Bowie allegedly said she had learned the Capitol could contain as many as 200 people and hoped to kill at least half of them.

She also said that if her roommate discovered the device, she would have to kill the roommate quietly by cutting her, according to the FBI.

The FBI arrested Bowie after she left the Aug. 19 meeting carrying the inert firearm and purported explosive device. Agents said they found knives and a handwritten pledge of allegiance to ISIS on her.

New York State Police told News Media that it could not locate any state police reports involving Bowie, while referring questions about the current investigation and the Aug. 19 operation to the FBI.

Bowie is charged with attempting to provide material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

News Media has reached out to the FBI Albany Field Office, and Bowie’s public defender for comment.

The post featured Brittany, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, modeling various Adidas workout outfits as part of a promotional campaign collaborating with Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Reality star Kim Zolciak is adamantly denying serious accusations against her teenage son, Kroy Biermann Jr. The 15-year-old faces allegations of assaulting a female peer in a changing room, leading to his arrest on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.

Kroy Jr., often referred to by his initials KJ, was taken into custody in Alpharetta, Georgia, for the incident reported to have occurred on April 23. This arrest places a spotlight on the young teenager amidst serious legal scrutiny.

Documents sourced from Fulton County Georgia’s Juvenile Court, as reported by TMZ, reveal that the alleged victim said she encountered KJ while at the gym. She claims subsequent events led them both into a co-ed sauna where the incident started.

According to the girl’s claims, KJ initiated unwanted contact despite her protests. She further alleges that he coerced her into non-consensual activities, reportedly forcing her to perform oral sex and making repeated attempts to engage in sexual intercourse by pulling at her clothing.

The alleged victim recounted escaping KJ’s advances, at which point he allegedly re-dressed and exited the scene. This account adds a harrowing layer to the unfolding legal challenge he now faces.

Zolciak, 48, branded the allegations ‘reckless and deeply troubling’ in a statement to The Daily Mail, saying,’ He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.

‘My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed’ she claimed.

‘Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.’

‘We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.’

Per documents, an officer was dispatched to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2026, for a reported sexual assault.

Police said the alleged victim and her father claimed the incident occurred the day prior inside a nearby gym. 

The alleged victim was examined at the North Fulton Hospital in Georgia on April 24 and, per the report, no evidence of male DNA was found in her mouth or vagina.

Police opened an investigation and an officer says he began attempting to contact Kroy Sr. on May 14. 

The officer says he spoke with him on May 18, and Kroy Sr. said he would ‘discuss the matter with Kim.’ 

KJ was taken into custody on Monday, August 17, in Alpharetta, Georgia,  and is being held without bond at the Juvenile Court of Fulton County. He has a hearing scheduled for September 1, per Page Six.

Meanwhile, in North Carolina, a 12-year-old girl experienced a terrifying ordeal when a 38-year-old man allegedly kidnapped her, forcing her into his truck. Remarkably, she managed to escape when the vehicle was parked at a DMV office.

The suspect, Daniel Gear, is accused of abducting the young girl, whose identity remains protected, after she visited his home to spend time with his niece on August 16, as reported by WNCN.

Court documents reveal Gear’s intent to “terrorize” her, as he allegedly abducted the child without her parents’ or guardians’ consent, violently shoving her to the ground and unlawfully holding her against her will.

According to the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, Gear and his pickup truck went missing from his residence in Lillington, a town situated approximately 30 miles south of Raleigh, around 1 p.m. on the day of the incident.

Harnett County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Erwin police, launched a manhunt for Gear using drones and K-9 units, WNCN reported.

Investigators said the girl managed to get away from Gear when he parked his pickup truck at a DMW office in Erwin, a town 11 miles southeast of Lillington.

The child flagged down a driver, Jennifer Maxwell, who sat down with WRAL for an interview.

“I was almost at the DMV right there at the wooded area beside the lawyer’s office, and all of a sudden, this little girl came running out of the woods and down the embankment,” Maxwell said. “And she kind of just dropped in a ditch and was just crying hysterically.”

Maxwell continued: “I pulled over to her and I rolled down my window and I was like, ‘Baby, are you okay?’ And she was like, ‘No, I’ve been kidnapped.'”

Maxwell described the girl, who was wearing no shoes, as “all scratched up.” She said she called 911 immediately.

The girl told Maxwell that the man who kidnapped her woke her up in the middle of the night and told her to get in his car, according to the WRAL interview.

After that, the girl said he pulled off into a wooded area and made her walk for “a couple of hours” while he repeatedly pushed her and grabbed her shoulder, Maxwell said.

Roughly seven hours after the girl escaped, deputies found Gear in a wooded area along U.S. Highway 421 and placed him under arrest, WNCN reported.

Gear was charged with first-degree kidnapping and assault on a female. He is being held in jail on a $2.5 million secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 1.

Gavi was the only Spain player who received punishment for his role in the brawl. He got a one-game ban and a $30,000 fine.

In all, that makes 22 games in suspensions and $270,000 in fines assessed for the embarrassing scene.

Argentina legend Lionel Messi wasn’t directly involved in the brawl that happened after the game.
