DCLM Daily Manna 27 February 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — He Was Forsaken for You

TOPIC: He Was Forsaken for You (DCLM Daily Manna 27 February 2026)

KEY VERSE: And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lamasabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? – Mark 15:34

TEXT: Mark 15:33-39 (KJV)

33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

Winston Churchill once paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave veterans of the Royal Air Force who stood guard over England during World War II, famously stating, “Never in the history of mankind have so many owed so much to so few.” There’s also a monument honouring the heroism of the US 101st Airborne Division, who fought valiantly in The Battle of Bastogne, one of the bloodiest confrontations of the same World War. It reads: “Seldom has so much American blood been shed in the course of a single action. Oh, Lord, help us to remember!” Yet, when we gaze upon the Cross of Christ, we can genuinely say: “Never in the history of the universe has mankind owed so much to One. Oh, Lord, help us to remember.”

The crucifixion of Jesus carries immense significance. As He was nailed to the cross, supernatural darkness enveloped the land for three hours, symbolising God’s judgment on sin and the deep anguish of the Saviour. In that moment, as Jesus bore the weight of humanity’s sins,He felt an unbearable spiritual separation and cried out, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” This profound anguish underscores the serious consequences of humanity’s sin and the staggering cost of our redemption. When Jesus breathed His last, the temple curtain, which separated the holy of holies from the rest of the temple, tore from top to bottom. This powerful act signified the removal of the barrier between God and humanity, showing that we now have direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ. We no longer need human mediators; Jesus has paved the way for us to approach God confidently.

A Roman centurion who played a role in Christ’s crucifixion and was typically cruel and indifferent to spiritual matters was deeply moved by Jesus’ extraordinary death. He declared, “Truly this man was the Son of God.” His testimony reveals that Christ’s sacrifice offers salvation to everyone, regardless of race, tribe, or nation. Sadly, the religious leaders nearby misinterpreted Jesus’ cry and failed to grasp the significance of His sacrifice. Even though they witnessed these events, they couldn’t see God’s salvation right before them.

The Cross stands as the ultimate demonstration of God’s love for man. He gave His only Begotten Son for our redemption. This ultimate sacrifice demands our gratitude and that we confidently draw near to God, since we now have access to Him. It also compels us to share the message of the Cross, proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and His salvation is available to all.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The cross is an eternal reminder of God’s unparalleled love for humanity.

Rhapsody Of Realities 28 February 2026: The Basis For Our Faith And Confessions

Rhapsody Of Realities 28 February 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): The Basis For Our Faith And Confessions

TOPIC: The Basis For Our Faith And Confessions (Rhapsody of Realities 28 February 2026)

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Faith isn’t about empty confessions or mere repetition of words. For example, merely saying “I’m well, I’m well, I’m well” isn’t what makes you well. If you’re trusting in that, you’ve turned faith into works, a kind of spiritual labour that doesn’t produce results.

Here’s how it works: the Scripture says, “I believed and therefore have I spoken”; so, it starts with believing, before speaking. What’s the basis upon which you’re saying “I’m well?” The foundation of our faith is in what Christ has already done.

Therefore, the reason you say, “I refuse to be sick” is because He already gave you divine health, and you refuse to give it up. Regardless of how you feel in your body, when anyone asks, “How are you?” You say, “I’m well” because, according to the Word, you have the life of God in you that’s impregnable to sickness, disease or infirmities.

It’s the same reason you declare, “I refuse to be poor,” because Christ has made you rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” Your confessions are not attempts to make the Word of God real in your life; rather, they’re affirmations of what’s already true in Christ, so you declare, “I am rich in Christ.”

Our faith in who we are in Christ, what we have, and our heritage and abilities in Him is the basis for our confessions. Our faith is anchored in the finished works of Christ. Our confessions, therefore, bring them into manifestation. Furthermore, we also have the creative ability to bring forth things that never existed before. That’s a different operation; it happens by the spoken Word of God in your mouth (Greek: “rhema”).

When you speak by the Spirit, you frame new realities, whether spiritual or material. But when you affirm your health, prosperity, or victory, you’re not creating them but acknowledging and activating what Christ has already made yours. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for granting me an understanding of the true basis of faith. My words are full of power because they’re anchored in the finished work of Christ. As I declare your Word, the realities of my inheritance in Christ; my health, wealth, and victory are activated and manifested, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Unveiling the Secrets: What Truly Happens Inside the Situation Room

0

President Donald Trump projects an image of possible diplomacy with Iran, suggesting that a ceasefire remains within reach. However, deep within the Pentagon and the White House, his military commanders are preparing for a starkly different scenario.

Insiders from the Department of Defense have hinted at plans for a decisive strike—described as ‘the final blow’—which would involve a comprehensive air, sea, and land assault. The objective is to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, stabilize the global economy, and decisively quell Tehran’s defiance.

These plans are cloaked in secrecy, with the specifics and timing in constant flux. The one assurance is that any military action will be meticulously documented on camera, with the explosive footage crafted into succinct video highlights aimed at impressing the President.

While the gravity of war cannot be understated, it seems, for Trump, the high-stakes environment of campaign headquarters resembles a perpetual video game.

US Central Command is tasked not only with the intricacies of America’s expanding operations in the Middle East but also with maintaining a steady flow of dramatic content. According to informed sources, military leaders are compelled to deliver a daily dose of ‘stuff blowing up’ to satisfy their screen-fixated Commander-in-Chief.

Ever since Operation Epic Fury began one month ago with the first bombings of Iran, Trump’s workday routine has included regular sit-downs amid the oak panels and big screens of the newly renovated White House Situation Room alongside his close advisers.

There, in every session, the team is reportedly shown ‘strike montages’ which, lasting two or three minutes, feature satellite or aircraft footage of Iranian targets being pulverised into smoke and dust. Not all of them, of course. America’s warplanes and missiles have struck some 10,000 targets in the last four weeks, so there is not time to review every action. The videos are more of a highlights package.

There’s said to be a ‘written component’ to these briefings, but everybody knows that Trump is a visual creature.

According to high-level sources, the top brass must also, on a daily basis, feed screen-addicted US President Donald Trump a satisfying stream of ¿stuff blowing up¿

The President also likes to talk. Before and after these regular screenings, he discusses the progress of Operation Epic Fury with everyone in the room – figures such as Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan ‘Raizin’ Caine, and others. He demands feedback and advice on how best to proceed. Trump takes calls – often from reporters – in the course of these sessions. At times he puts his phone on loudspeaker to ‘workshop’ talking points with members of the war cabinet.

On Wednesday, amid suggestions that the President has been treating the Situation Room as a private cinema, the White House pushed back, attempting to deny the allegations.

Yet the claims have persisted – and with good reason, I am told even if the top secret presentations are more ‘sombre’ than the administration’s social media channels, which pump out ‘hype-videos’ combining bomb footage, memes, cartoons and pop songs. I understand there’s no musical accompaniment in the Situation Room.

Many in Washington are concerned that Trump and his team have become hooked on ‘destruction porn’ to the detriment of strategic wisdom. That all the ‘bomb-bomb-bang-bang’ footage has been warping Trump’s sense of how the war is playing out.

Some ask if the President has been shown a contrasting style of footage: the alarming evidence of Iranian missiles and drones hitting US bases across the Middle East. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt rejects the claim that the Commander-in-Chief is obsessed with war porn. ‘That’s an absolutely false assertion coming from someone who has not been present in the room,’ she said in a statement.

‘Anyone who has been present for conversations with President Trump knows he actively seeks and solicits the opinions of everyone in the room and expects full-throated honesty from all of his top advisers.’

But she did not deny that video briefings exist, which suggests the claims are almost certainly true.

Join the debate

Should presidents treat real war footage like entertainment, or does it risk distorting their judgment?

The action, when it takes place, will be recorded on camera and the explosion-filled footage will be edited into short video compilations to play in the US Situation Room

There is also a makeshift war room at the President’s Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, where he watched the first night of the strikes on Saturday, February 28. On weekdays, however, Trump conducts operations from Washington, making a special point to complain to anyone who will listen about negative portrayal of his war on national television. Why, he asks, does the ‘fake news’ media not show more of the magnificent carnage he’s just seen for himself?

Trump is not the first President to claim the media is failing to show America’s military success in its full patriotic splendour.

Lyndon Johnson berated Press and TV for negative coverage of the unfolding disaster in Vietnam. President George W Bush accused the media of focusing too much on car bombs in Iraq instead of his administration’s laudable efforts to rebuild the nation he’d just destroyed.

But no previous US administration has turned war into the art form promoted by Team Trump. The White House and Department of War media channels have been pumping out surreal propaganda including, for example, a video which blends real black and white scenes of targeted strikes with clips from a Nintendo Wii sports game.

One of the clips features rousing images of troops in action to the sound of Secretary Hegseth reading out a warrior prayer; another begins with him declaring ‘we negotiate with bombs’ as an ominous soundtrack kicks in.

TV comedians have lost no time sending up Hegseth but no satire can outdo the show on offer from The Pentagon.

At times, Trump seems confused as to what is real and what is not. Last week, speaking to a group of Kennedy Center board members, he explained he had phoned a senior military commander after watching a fake video of the USS Abraham Lincoln, the flagship aircraft carrier, in flames. ‘I called the general. I said, “General, what’s with the Abraham Lincoln, it looks like it’s burning down?’” The general apparently replied: ‘No bullet was ever fired at it, sir. They know better [than to do that].’

Trump particularly enjoys regaling audiences with presidential war stories. On January 2, 2020, he was watching as top Iranian general, Qasem Soleimani, was assassinated. Ever since, Trump has regaled guests at fundraising events with an account of the hit, saying: ‘He was saying bad things about our country… that was the last I heard from him.’

Having campaigned as the anti-war candidate, Trump has attacked Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Venezuela in his second term. Now he is now waging his biggest military campaign so far and appears to be enjoying it.

After the audacious raid on Caracas on January, when US forces seized Nicolas Maduro, Trump told anyone who’d listen that seeing the mission unfold was ‘literally like watching a TV show. If you would have seen the speed, the violence – we watched every aspect of it.’

He marvelled, again and again, at the brilliance of the soldiers taking down Venezuela’s dictator: ‘They had to go through steel doors… like it was like papier-mache… these guys blasted through every door… he got bum-rushed so fast.’

He has also taken to making ‘bing bing’ noises in Press conferences as he describes the action.

Even among Republicans, there is deep disquiet. Yesterday it was reported that senior figures had stormed out of a secret Iran briefing on Wednesday, claiming to have been ‘misled’ about the administration’s true objectives.

With the mid-term election campaigns grinding into action, the fear among growing numbers of his fellow Americans – including parts of his MAGA base – is that the 47th President has lost touch with reality.

And that, sitting in the comfort of the Situation Room with some of his close supporters, he might find the idea of watching US troops in action just a little too exciting to resist.

Shocking Mugshot: Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI After Florida Car Crash

The mugshot of Tiger Woods has been unveiled following his DUI arrest in Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday.

In the photo, the famed golfer is seen with bloodshot eyes and a serious expression, gazing directly at the camera without a smile.

Following a dramatic rollover car accident, which took place shortly after 2 p.m. near 281 Beach Road, Woods was approached by DUI investigators at the location.

“Woods exhibited signs of impairment and refused to undergo a urinalysis test, resulting in charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test,” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek reported at a press conference.

He further explained that officers “didn’t suspect alcohol involvement in this case,” noting that Woods “registered triple zeros” on the Breathalyzer test.

According to authorities, the 82-time PGA winner was driving a “dark colored Land Rover” when he attempted to pass a utility pressure cleaner truck, allegedly clipping the “back end” of the truck’s trailer, at which point it rolled.

Cops stated that Woods, 50, crawled out of his vehicle following the incident and confirmed that no one involved in the accident was injured.

The sheriff also confirmed that Woods was alone in the Land Rover at the time of the crash.

This is Woods’ second DUI arrest. In May 2017, he was busted for a DUI in Jupiter, Fla., after cops found him passed out behind the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz.

His mugshot quickly went viral on social media due to the pro athlete’s scruffy and bleary-eyed appearance.

At the time, Woods blamed his arrest on an “unexpected reaction” to medication he’d been taking post-back surgery and denied that alcohol was involved.

Tests showed he had Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, in his system.

Police also said it appeared he’d been in a minor car accident before they found him.

Woods pleaded guilty to reckless driving in a deal to avoid conviction for DUI, and was sentenced to one year of probation and a $250 fine.

Soon after his arrest made headlines, he announced he was seeking “professional help” to “manage” his medications.

Woods has been involved in several serious car crashes. His near-fatal accident in the outskirts of Los Angeles in 2021 left him with permanent leg injuries.

“It was very fortunate that Mr. Woods was able to come out of this alive,” Deputy Carlos Gonzalez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, who was first on the scene, said at the time.

In his stead, Jason Barquero took over the announcing duties.

“The entire Lakers family extends their best wishes to Lawrence for a swift recovery,” the Lakers stated, “and we eagerly anticipate his return.”

At 76, Tanter has been the voice of the Lakers since the 1982-83 season.

Lakers broadcast analyst Stu Lantz also wasn’t at Friday’s game because he was under the weather, with five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher filling in for Lantz.

Unveiling Australian Lifestyles: What Our Wristbands Reveal About Daily Life

0

IN BRIEF

  • Being female, living regionally and not living with children all contributed to people sleeping more.
  • The data also revealed the average Australian adult takes around 9,000 steps a day.

For the first time, Australia has utilized wearable technology to monitor how its citizens sleep and move, uncovering that Australians average just over 7.5 hours of sleep each night.

In 2023, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) conducted a study involving over 4,000 participants who volunteered to wear devices tracking their activity and sleep patterns.

This Tuesday, the ABS unveiled the findings, offering a closer look at Australians’ sleep behaviors, alongside insights into their exercise habits.

Here’s a summary of the findings.

How are we sleeping?

The data reveals that participants in the study slept an average of seven hours and 36 minutes per night.

Ten per cent of adults slept more than nine hours a night on average, while 9 per cent got less than six hours.

Females slept 13 minutes longer than males, while those who lived in regional Australia got an extra nine minutes compared to those who lived in cities.

Living with dependent children shaved an average of 16 minutes off the time someone snoozed.

How much someone worked also impacted how long they slept.

People who worked more than 35 hours a week slept 20 minutes less than people who worked less than 35 hours a week.

Smoking also impacted people’s sleep, with non-smokers clocking an extra 16 minutes of sleep compared to smokers.

How often are we sitting still?

The ABS also used the data to track how often and how intensely the people in the study moved.

According to the data, people over the age of 18 took an average of 9,065 steps per day, while those over the age of 75 took an average of 5,776 steps.

Children aged five to 11 years old took nearly 13,000 steps a day on average.

They found 25 per cent of people did no vigorous physical activity in the week they wore the devices, while almost one in ten adults averaged more than ten minutes a day.

Seventy-seven per cent of Adults did at least one hour of moderate activity a day, with nearly ten 10 per cent doing three hours or more.

According to the data, children aged five to 11 years old did nearly an hour and a half of moderate or vigorous activity, while teenagers did just 40 minutes per day.

The average adult was inactive for nearly 12 hours each day, including while sleeping.

How are we eating?

The sleep and movement data are part of a broader public health study by the ABS, which has also studied people’s diets.

Released last year, the earlier part of this study found that people were consuming an average of 3.2kg of food and drinks — including water — a day.

It also found that “discretionary” or “junk foods” made up 31.3 per cent of the average person’s diet.

This was down from 35.5 per cent in a 2011-12 study.

The study also found that one in four participants reported being on some kind of diet.

Self-Driving Car Continues Journey After Driver Loses Consciousness; Police Uncover Unexpected Details

0

A driver in Northern California found himself under arrest on DUI charges after authorities discovered him unconscious behind the wheel of his self-driving vehicle, which was still navigating through bustling city streets.

The unsettling incident took place shortly after 11 a.m. on a Wednesday in Vacaville, a city located about 35 miles southwest of Sacramento. The Vacaville Police Department reported that a vigilant resident called 911 to alert them about a driver who seemed to be dozing off.

Compounding the issue, police noted that the car had not come to a stop.

According to authorities, the vehicle continued to move through traffic, posing a significant threat to other motorists. The caller remained on the line, offering continuous updates that enabled officers to locate the car and safely halt it near the intersection of Elmira Road and Shasta Drive.

Photos shared by the Vacaville Police Department show the driver leaned back in the seat, apparently asleep, as the vehicle sat in traffic.

But it’s what officers found inside the car that quickly raised red flags.

Images released by the department show an open box of wine, a partially consumed bottle and takeout food scattered across the passenger seat, along with other loose items inside the vehicle.

Investigators say they determined the driver was under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Police also drew strong reactions on social media after sharing images from the incident.

“That time when his vehicle had more situational awareness than he did,” one commenter wrote.

Others praised both the caller and responding officers for preventing a potentially dangerous crash.

“Glad no one was hurt. Great job of getting this guy off the road,” another user added.

The Vacaville Police Department noted that while newer vehicles may include assistive driving features, those systems are no substitute for a sober, alert driver.

Police also credited the quick-thinking caller for helping prevent what could have turned into a serious crash.

“Your calls help make our streets safer,” the department said.

Concerning Trend: What’s Driving Young Men Towards Risky Behaviors?

0

On the surface, a movement encouraging young men to enhance their physical appearance and boost their self-esteem seems benign, even beneficial. However, experts caution that the rapidly expanding trend known as looksmaxxing harbors a more sinister aspect.

So what is it, and why are some health professionals calling it “terrifying”?

Looksmaxxing has gained renewed momentum on social media platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok. It primarily involves men striving to enhance their physical looks.

This pursuit of aesthetic improvement falls into two main categories: “softmaxxing” and “hardmaxxing.”

Looksmaxxing
The looksmaxxing trendbegan on bodybuilding forums in the 2010s. (Nine)

“Softmaxxing” represents the initial phase of this trend, focusing on fundamental aspects like maintaining good hygiene and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

Activities such as following skincare routines, eating nutritiously, and engaging in regular exercise are all part of the softmaxxing approach.

Some less-proven methods are also popular, such as the bizarre trend of “mewing” – the act of holding the tongue against the roof of the mouth to create a prominent jawline and align teeth.
This popular technique has no scientific proof of being beneficial.

Skincare routines have been relabelled as “skinmaxxing” by the community. File Picture (Getty)

‘Hardmaxxing’ is where methods become physically demanding and permanent.

It aims to maximise appearance by any means, including Botox and implants, or even removing ribs for a sculpted waist.

The most infamous hardmaxxing method is “bonesmashing”.

This is the practice of repeatedly hitting the face with a blunt object to supposedly enlarge bones and redefine the skull structure to appear more masculine.

There is no scientific evidence to support this claim.

The term “starvemaxxing” has also been coined to describe extreme dieting so that cheekbones look hollow and the facial structure becomes sculpted.

Extreme dieting carries many serious health risks, including metabolic damage, nutrient deficiencies, fatigue and mental health issues.

A number of ‘Looksmaxxing’ forums seen by nine.com.au focus heavily on steroid use to build muscle size, and allow members to provide anecdotal and unsubstantiated medical advice.

Healthy Male is an Australian organisation that aims to provide accessible information on male health, particularly surrounding the physical side.

Health Content Manager at Healthy Male, Associate Professor Tim Moss, told nine.com.au he first discovered the term looksmaxxing while researching body image disorders in males and said steroids carry major health risks.

“If you take testosterone or synthetic versions of things that are like testosterone, then you shut down production of testosterone in the testes.

“When I first stumbled upon looksmaxxing, it was terrifying.

“The fact that young men will take such severe actions to change their appearance to try to appeal to others is scary to me.”

Researcher at the Movember Institute of Mental Health, Dr Krista Fisher, also warned of the lack of research surrounding the use of unapproved drugs.

“We’re seeing a massive rise in non-FDA and non-TGA-approved peptide use and surgical intervention, which have the potential to impact young men’s health for the entirety of their life,” she told nine.com.au.

Where did the trend start?

The trend has been around since the early 2010s, with forums across the internet for people looking to optimise their physical appearance.

Members in these communities send images of themselves for others to critique and rate, providing advice on how to improve their appearance.

A rating system known as the proportion, size, lineation (PSL) scale is used to determine the facial attractiveness and “sexual market value”.

Boards on some looksmaxxing forums have more than 200,000 messages.
Boards on some looksmaxxing forums have more than 200,000 messages. (Supplied)

The maximum rating a person can achieve is an eight, deeming them a “chad”, whilst a zero categorises them as “subhuman” and ultimately, undesirable.

“I can’t imagine why you would go there and open yourself up to that sort of stuff,” Moss said.

University of Sydney post-doctoral researcher and clinical psychologist, Scott Fatt, told nine.com.au that aspects of the trend draw close relation to body dysmorphic disorder.

“There’s a strong focus on paying really close attention to detail, and this idea of obsessing about numbers, and you should be checking your progress obsessively,” he said.

“That is a pretty key trait in body dysmorphic disorder.”

So-call black pill ideologies frequent these forums – the belief that romantic relationships are a rigged system based on a hierarchy that favours attractive men.

The online harms of looksmaxxing

While these forums are still active today, looksmaxxing influencers have gained notoriety on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, bringing in a new, younger audience.

The ‘looksmaxxer’ at the forefront of the trend, Clavicular, has more than 400,000 Instagram followers and told The New York Times he makes more than $100,000 a month streaming on Kick, helping push the trend further into the public eye.

“Clavicular (was) on the front of GQ magazine and walking in fashion shows, it’s definitely become more of a pop culture phenomenon rather than something that just exists in fringe spaces online,” Fisher added.

“Now what we’re seeing is this passive consumption of content.

“If you’re a young guy and sign up for a TikTok account, there has been research that has shown that within 30 seconds, you are going to be pushed content that is misogynistic, has drug, youth-related themes, or suicide and self-harm themes.”

Fisher says looksmaxxers who offer courses to impressionable teens are targeting a young and “insecure” audience.

“They’re not only financially taking advantage of these young people, but what it’s also creating is this significant amount of shame and secrecy.”

“Even if it does change one’s physical appearance, it doesn’t really fix or alleviate the root of the issue, like body image concerns, low self-esteem and self-worth,” she said.

John Cena’s Awkward Encounter with Viral TikTok Star Goes Viral

In a rather uncomfortable encounter, John Cena found himself in the spotlight after an unexpected serenade from viral TikTok sensation Harry Daniels. Known for his spontaneous musical performances aimed at celebrities, Daniels approached the former wrestling champion in a cafe, leading to an awkward moment captured on video.

The 48-year-old Cena, who is gearing up for a Netflix project alongside Jennifer Garner, was simply enjoying his time when Daniels made his move. With 2.2 million TikTok followers, Daniels has built a reputation for himself by singing to stars in public, with previous targets including Jennifer Lopez, Austin Butler, and Cyndi Lauper.

In this particular instance, Daniels chose Taylor Swift’s “Invisible String” as his song of choice. Foregoing any introductions, he launched directly into the performance, catching Cena off guard.

Surprised by the sudden serenade, Cena briefly looked up from his phone. Without acknowledging the performance with a smile, he stood up, effectively putting an end to the impromptu concert.

Only a few seconds in, Cena looked up from his phone and stood up without flashing a smile.

‘Let’s start with a hello. How are you doing? Nice to meet you, I’m John,’ the sports star said while reaching his arm out first to shake hands with Daniels.

After the TikToker told Cena his name, the retired wrestler questioned, ‘Would you like to sing now?’

Daniels replied with, ‘Yes,’ which prompted the star to follow up with, ‘And for what purpose?’

The media influencer explained, ‘Because I sing to everyone. It’s my job.’

Cena placed his hands in the pockets of his shorts as he listened but then said, ‘Well, I’m not buying what you’re selling. Thanks, though.’

‘Okay, thank you,’ Daniels said before turning and quickly walking away.

In text added over the reel, the TikTok star penned: ‘I saw john cena at a cafe and i tried singing for him but my approach was so bad that the whole thing went haywire.’

And in the caption, Daniels also added, ‘Ok this ones on me cuz i had no decorum my bad sorry john cena.’

Social media users jumped to the comment section of the post to share their thoughts on the awkward interaction.

A fan asked Cena for a picture, which the sports star agreed to and the pair politely shook hands.

However, the fan then started to record the actor on his phone without permission and asked, ‘What are you wearing?’

Cena said, ‘I’m a big fan of consent, right? So if you would like to take a video – I’m a big fan of consent.’

The fan apologized as the retired wrestler walked off into the crowd.

The pair apologized to each other and said there were no bad feelings on either side.

‘I just know it’s kind of chaos back here,’ Cena continued, and the fan added, ‘Listen it’s all good.’

The star expressed, ‘I’ll give you whatever you want as long as you ask,’ before the pair shook hands again.
