A man from Clinton has received a prison sentence after admitting to secretly recording more than 1,500 videos using a hidden camera in a women’s restroom at a Farragut park.
On Friday morning, the office of Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen revealed that 34-year-old Tony Lynn Strand confessed to three charges of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, along with charges of burglary and unauthorized observation.

Vance, known for his cautious stance, had reportedly advised Trump against initiating military action with Iran. Now, entrusted with the responsibility of spearheading negotiations to conclude the conflict, Vance’s position reflects a strategic pivot towards diplomatic resolution.
A day after Vance’s call with Netanyahu, a Right-wing Israeli news outlet owned by GOP donor Miriam Adelson reported that the Vice President had yelled at Netanyahu over Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
White House officials, who described the story as false, began suspecting that Israelis planted it to try to smear Vance.
An Israeli official denied that Netanyahu had planted the story and said his office issued a full denial when approached by reporters.

Trump on Thursday extended his deadline to not strike Iranian energy plants, writing on Truth Social: ‘As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time. Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well.’
The 15-point plan, modeled on Trump’s Gaza deal, would require Iran to dismantle all nuclear and long-range missile capabilities, open the Strait of Hormuz, and abandon proxy terror groups.

After his elimination, Charlie spoke to Page Six about his contentious relationship with Rizo. During the season, fans saw Charlie dislike Rizo after Rizo admitted to not giving his No. 1 ally his jury vote at the end of Survivor Season 49. However, Charlie said he hoped to target Rizo for additional reasons.
“There were definitely strategic reasons why I wanted to target Rizo, too,” he added, noting that he never had the chance to see Rizo play in season 49. “I thought because he was so disconnected … there would be the least ripple effect taking him out, and … everyone would kind of be like, ‘Oh, I need to be the one to pull Rizo in.’ And then, all of a sudden, he has all of these alliances.”
Charlie then noted that he heard about Dee and Rizo FaceTiming before Survivor 50. “I learned that, obviously, after the fact,” Charlie said. They could’ve been brought together by Soph Balerdi, one of Rizo’s allies from season 49. As Charlie was recalling the information, he noted that Savannah Louie might’ve told him this while at Ponderosa.
“Who knows, maybe it didn’t even happen,” Charlie added. “But this is what I’ve heard. I think through Soph, because they’re both in Miami. So, I think that probably played into it, too. If I were Dee, I’d be like, oh, wow, I have this pre-game relationship with Rizo, and no one else has that, because no one else would have any way of getting in touch with him, or knowing he was on 50, or whatever it may be.”

A flight attendant from American Airlines, based in Dallas, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances during a layover in Medellín, Colombia, sparking a swift investigation by local law enforcement.
Eric Fernando Gutierrez Molina, a 32-year-old U.S. citizen, was last seen in the early hours of Sunday in Medellín’s La América neighborhood. He had arrived there for an overnight stop on his way to Miami, as reported by FOX 4 Dallas and the New York Post.
According to Sharom Gil, a friend of Gutierrez Molina, he might have received an invitation to a party and was subsequently taken to a medical facility, as shared with local news outlet Telemedellín.
Before his disappearance, Gutierrez Molina reportedly sent his location from an Airbnb near José María Córdova International Airport. His unexpected absence led friends and colleagues to alert authorities by filing missing person reports.
Gutierrez Molina went missing shortly after arriving in Colombia on Saturday, March 21, raising concerns and drawing attention to his case.
Alejandro Murcia, an elected representative for Colombians abroad, posted a heartbreaking call for help on social media following Gutierrez Molina’s disappearance.
“Eric Fernando Gutiérrez Molina, a U.S. citizen and flight attendant for @AmericanAir, is missing in Medellín,” Murcia wrote in an X post. “Let’s help spread this post to find him. His family is desperate.”
Murcia also tagged the official X account of the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia, which has not yet commented on the disappearance.
It is unclear if foul play was involved.
American Airlines told Fox News Digital it is “actively engaged with local law enforcement officials in their investigation and doing all we can to support our team member’s family during this time.”

An Idaho mother has been charged with a felony after giving birth to a baby with a severe heart condition and non-functional eyesight, as per local police reports.
Rose Smith, aged 26, from Idaho Falls, is accused of methamphetamine use during her pregnancy, following a positive drug test after the child’s birth.
According to court documents accessed by East Idaho News, Smith was accompanied by a man at the time of the birth in August 2025. This man reportedly admitted to police that he had consumed meth before arriving at the hospital, although Smith denied any drug use.
The documents further reveal that hospital staff repeatedly had to remind both Smith and her companion to tend to basic care needs of feeding and changing the baby, tasks they allegedly neglected.
The authorities removed the child from Smith and her companion on August 31. In the following days, it emerged that the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, alongside an Idaho Falls police officer, had visited Smith’s residence to take another child from her care, as documented in the court reports.
Smith and the man had been ordered to undergo drug testing after the baby was born in August, but they had failed to do so. Health officials went back to Smith’s home on Sept. 25 and reported unsanitary living conditions, including a foul odor coming from the residence and trash scattered all over.
In addition to the living conditions, feces were also observed on parts of Smith and the man’s body, according to the court documents. Smith was interviewed again about the child she gave birth to, and she allegedly downplayed the child’s condition.
Police say a detective spoke to Smith again about her meth use and she eventually admitted to smoking the drug while she was pregnant. She was arrested this month and charged with felony injury to a child.
Smith bonded out of jail on March 23. The man who was with her during the birth has not been charged with any crimes.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place for Smith on April 10.
The contentious debate surrounding transgender individuals and the policies associated with them has sparked two major controversies. I write to inform you that the United States Department of Justice is commencing an investigation into the Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) and the California Institution for Women (CIW) operated by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). The Department will conduct this investigation under the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA), 42 U.S.C. § 1997, and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000 (RLUIPA), 42 U.S.C. § 2000cc. This is official notice required by CRIPA.
Here are the specific issues that the DOJ will be investigating:
During this investigation, the Department will determine whether California engages in a pattern or practice of violating the constitutional rights of female prisoners incarcerated at CCWF and CIW by housing and providing preferential treatment to biological male prisoners in these prisons, resulting in harm to such female prisoners. Specifically, the Department will investigate widely reported allegations of deprivation of female prisoners’ rights, including freedom of speech under the First Amendment, freedom to exercise religion under the First Amendment, protection from cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment, and equal protection of the laws under the Fourteenth Amendment.
There can’t be a punishment much more cruel and unusual than subjecting women inmates to the very real possibility of sexual assault by men masquerading as women.
BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Chad Day Fishing Tournament is making waves not just as a gathering for fishing enthusiasts, but as a heartfelt tribute to Chad Day, who succumbed to glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer, at the age of 24.
This annual two-day event offers more than just the thrill of catch-and-release fishing. Participants can look forward to a grand raffle, a silent auction, and a community dinner. A mother from North Carolina has been taken into custody, facing charges related to the fatal stabbing of her 10-month-old son.
According to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, officers, along with the Barnardsville Fire Department and Buncombe EMS, responded to an emergency call just after 2 p.m. on Thursday in Barnardsville. They arrived to find young Enoch Chappell with multiple stab injuries. He was transported to Mission Hospital, where he was later declared dead.
“This tragedy has deeply affected everyone involved,” expressed Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller. “The Barnardsville Fire Department and Buncombe County EMS went above and beyond to try and save this boy, and we are truly thankful for their efforts. Our community is heartbroken.”
Authorities have charged 34-year-old Ciara Frederick with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
While the sheriff’s office has not disclosed if others were present during the incident, Sheriff Miller informed WLOS that the child’s father resides at the same location.
Barnardsville is an unincorporated community about 20 miles north of Asheville.
A former Russian MMA fighter, driven by jealousy, was sentenced to four years in prison on Friday for assaulting his ex-girlfriend during a FaceTime call with Barron Trump in January 2025.
Matvei Rumiantsev, 23, was found guilty of assault earlier in the year. A London judge described him as “prone to jealousy” and “completely unrepentant,” criticizing his refusal to take responsibility for his actions.
The sentence includes two years for the assault and an additional two years for attempting to pervert the course of justice. These terms will be served consecutively. Moreover, the judge indicated that Rumiantsev might face deportation from the UK due to the severity of his crimes.
He was acquitted of related charges of rape and strangulation that were alleged to have occurred on the same day as the assault.
The attack unfolded in a fit of drunken anger at Rumiantsev’s East London residence on January 18, 2025, after he noticed an incoming call from Barron Trump, then 20 years old, on his ex-girlfriend’s phone. This incident occurred just two days before Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States.
The woman, who was not identified for legal reasons, and Barron had been speaking after meeting on social media and Rumiantsev claimed she had called the younger Trump her “sweetheart.”
Rumiantsev grabbed the woman’s hair, choked her, called her a “s–t and w—e,” and kicked her in the stomach, the victim told Snaresbrook Crown Court, adding that she feared for her life and paid tribute to the president’s son.
“He helped save my life,” she said. “That call was like a sign from God at that moment.”
Barron called London cops after witnessing the woman sobbing on video and later sent over an emailed statement recounting what he saw.
“The individual who picked up the phone was a shirtless man with darkish hair, although I didn’t get a good look, this view lasted maybe one second and I was racing with adrenaline,” the first son’s message read.
“The camera was then flipped to the victim getting hit while crying, stating something in Russian. The guy had hung up. This whole interaction had lasted 5 to 7 seconds.”
Prosecutors said Rumiantsev had wanted to show his dominance over the victim while Barron Trump was on the call..
While behind bars, Rumiantsev wrote a letter to the victim, desperately trying to get her to withdraw the allegations.
