Nick Pasqual Arrest And Charges: What Crime Was He Accused Of?

Pasqual, 34, was charged on Wednesday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a witness, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or parent of a child. He could get a maximum term of life in jail if found guilty of all charges, according to officials.

The victim’s identity was not disclosed by the DA’s office, but according to Entertainment Tonight, Pasqual is suspected of stabbing cosmetics artist Allie Shehorn. Shehorn’s medical costs were funded by a GoFundMe.

According to a news release from the district attorney’s office, Pasqual allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Los Angeles house on May 23 at around 4:30 in the morning and stabbed her “multiple times.” Shehorn was hospitalized with grave injuries. Shehorn had recently secured a restraining order against Pasqual.

Following her hospitalization, the cosmetics artist was described as “fighting for her life” on the GoFundMe page. The fundraiser stated that Shehorn spent many days in the intensive care unit and had multiple surgeries, including one to restore severed tendons in her right arm and another to close wounds in her neck.

“No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie,” says the page on GoFundMe.

It is said that following the stabbing, Pasqual left the city. The district attorney’s office reports that when an arrest warrant was obtained, he was taken into custody at a Texas border checkpoint between the United States and Mexico.

Pasqual will be extradited back to Los Angeles to face charges, according to officials. According to the district attorney’s office, there is currently no planned date for the arraignment.

According to sources, the Los Angeles Police Department is still looking into the matter.

‘My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,’ said the Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.

‘Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her.

‘This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.’

Shehorn is currently recovering from the stabbing attack in hospital.

Marilyn Mosby Sentence: What Happened?

Marilyn Mosby Sentence: What Happened? Marilyn Mosby was sentenced to 1 year of home confinement and ordered to forfeit her Florida vacation home. Continue reading to find out what happened. Also, find out who is Marilyn Mosby.

Marilyn Mosby, the former state attorney for Baltimore City, was spared prison time on Thursday, but her vacation house in Florida had to be forfeited.

Judge Lydia Griggsby sentenced the defendant to two years of supervised release after 12 months of home confinement. Mosby will have to perform community work as well.

The decision follows Mosby’s conviction for perjury and mortgage fraud by two other juries.

The CARES Act outlines specific requirements for qualifying withdrawals, such as a reduction in income due to a COVID-related layoff or due to quarantining. On January 13, 2022, a federal grand jury indicted Mosby on a charge of perjury, claiming she had falsely claimed financial hardship related to COVID-19 in order to request one-time withdrawals of $40,000 and $50,000 of her deferred compensation funds. However, she had reportedly continued to draw her full salary during the period and had even seen an increase in pay.

She was also charged with falsifying information on her mortgage applications for her condo and house in Florida by omitting to include her federal tax obligations.[6] The indictment contained four charges.

The prosecution successfully alleged that Mosby lied on a mortgage application and took $90,000 from her city’s Deferred Compensation Plan under false pretenses to purchase two vacation houses in Florida.

Judge Lydia Griggsby concurred with the government that if Mosby hadn’t submitted a fictitious $5000 gift letter from her now ex-husband Nick Mosby, she wouldn’t have been approved for a mortgage loan.

Mosby will be able to retain the increased value of her initial 10% down payment on the house as part of the decision. Redfin assesses the home’s current value at $886,000. The original purchase price was $428,000. Mosby’s attorneys anticipate requesting a stay from Griggsby so they can file an appeal.

Mosby might have spent as much as 40 years in prison. The prosecution asked for a 20-month prison sentence.

Griggsby concurred with the defense’s recommendation of probation rather than jail time, pointing out that Mosby’s offense was non-violent and mentioning that she was a mother of two young girls.

Mosby’s team has been pursuing a presidential pardon through a nationwide media blitz over the last few weeks.

Mosby says she was unfairly convicted and politically singled out.

Who Is Marilyn Mosby?

Marilyn Mosby born January 22, 1980, is an American politician and lawyer who served as the State’s Attorney for Baltimore from 2015 to 2023.

After Freddie Gray was killed in 2015, Mosby became well-known across the country. She oversaw a widely reported inquiry and failed to convict the police officers who had detained and taken Gray.

Mosby was reelected in 2018 but lost to Ivan Bates in her 2022 reelection campaign after being indicted on accusations of perjury and mortgage fraud in January 2022 by a federal grand jury.

Mosby was charged when it was alleged that she had taken money out of a program meant to assist those who had been negatively impacted financially by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Mosby entered a not-guilty plea and denied any wrongdoing, but on November 9, 2023, he was found guilty on two counts of perjury and on February 6, 2024, on one count of mortgage fraud.

James got married to current Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby in 2005. Their two girls are there. They reside in Baltimore’s Reservoir Hill area.

Since then, she has gone by Mosby in her professional life.

The Mosbys filed for divorce on July 21, 2023.

Caroline Stanbury Facelift Surgery: Who Is Caroline Stanbury?

Caroline Stanbury Facelift Surgery: Who Is Caroline Stanbury? Real Housewives Of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury,48, admits she had a facelift after realising that she couldn’t go any further with fillers alone.

Real Housewives Of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury had a facelift in her 40's

Caroline Stanbury Facelift Surgery

Caroline admitted she considered a facelift, which helps improve the definition of the jawline, after realising she'd reached a limit with just fillers

The 48-year-old Caroline Stanbury disclosed that she spent a whopping £27,000 for a facelift after realizing that fillers “couldn’t go any further.”

After undergoing the operation in November, the 47-year-old Real Housewives of Dubai star told The Sun she had no regrets.

After realizing she’d hit her limit with fillers, Caroline acknowledged she thought about getting a facelift, which helps redefine the jawline and reduce the look of jowls and loose skin around the neck area. “They are great when you’re young, but you can only go so far,” the woman remarked.

“After a while, your face starts to look extremely round, so I should have dissolved them and started over again.” I began to wonder if there was anything else out there because of this.

After realizing she “couldn’t go any further” with fillers alone, Caroline Stanbury said she splurged £27,000 on a facelift (left after her surgery in November, and right in June).

Caroline decided to have a facelift because she liked her friend’s transformation, but she was afraid her kids wouldn’t recognize her new appearance.

“I wanted my kids to recognize me, not go, ‘Mummy, what have you done?'” she continued.

Caroline shared details of her facelift procedure, acknowledging that it left her appearance as though she had “been in a car crash.”

After the cosmetic process, the TV personality was left covered in bandages, but she stated that her marriage to 29-year-old Sergio Carrallo, who is 18 years her junior, had nothing to do with her decision to have the surgery.

When asked if she was confident in her husband, why did she get a facelift? She said, “This had nothing to do with @sergiocarallo; he begged me not to do it!” Not a minute of the day worries me about my relationship with him.

Stanbury disclosed in November that she had gotten a facelift in Los Angeles “with no information whatsoever.”

She and her Spanish spouse have both been on her podcast, Uncut and Uncensored since she returned to the UK.

In podcast footage posted on their Instagram, she can be seen with large sunglasses over her face, her hood up, and a microphone in front of her.

The socialite acknowledged on the program that she made her face-lift decision without any prior knowledge.I went into that procedure with the attitude of someone getting rid of a mole.

This is Los Angeles; in contrast to other locations where you’re taken to a hospital and given the impression that you’re having a medical experience, you’re escorted to an office back room and treated as though you were getting fillers. They take your face off and put you to sleep.

‘I looked like I’d been in a car crash and the car definitely didn’t win.’

Stanbury said of the ordeal: ‘He managed to cut off three inches on my neck and then the full width of my ear from my face.

‘The shape of my face is completely wrong for a human: the top half is wider than the bottom half, and my neck is too thick. I have stitches at the front and back of my ear and on my eyelids.’

She explained why she went under the knife: ‘I wanted to look exactly like me but fresh.

Since I’m 47, I had my top lip and eyes done, where they remove extra skin. I lowered my neck, and I currently have a very tight neck.

“I only had one appointment and paid the money, and I honestly thought it was a half face-lift.”

“It’s terrifying that there is no trace of my face in that face,” she remarked in reference to the findings. I wanted to sue my doctor since everything on your face appears to be out of place when you look at it slightly.

“Obviously, everything swells differently on each side after surgery, nothing looks even, and my neck is immobile, making it look like a tree trunk.”

In November, Stanbury revealed she'd undergone a facelift at the age of 47 that left her looking like she'd 'been in a car crash'

In December she shared a glimpse of her healing scars
She admitted

She posted a picture of her healing scars in December, 23 days after having surgery that left her with the appearance of having “been in a car crash.”

In the meantime, Carrallo, her spouse, said that following her surgery, he had been devastated.

“I don’t recognize her; there are two wives—the one from last week and the one this week,” he remarked.

It was the most awful thing I have ever done. I was crying as I tried to locate my wife and find her.

“Emotionally and mentally, I’ve been on the floor,” he continued. There are no words to express how miserable it makes me to look at my wife. My wife should appear natural rather than fake.

Stanbury said she was also moved to tears.

‘When he was crying, she started crying, but instead her tears were blood,’ she said.

Who Is Caroline Stanbury?

Caroline Alice Stanbury born on April 28, 1976, is a British businesswoman and reality TV star. Her most well-known roles have been as a regular cast member of Bravo’s reality TV shows Ladies of London, which ran from 2014 to 2017, and The Real Housewives of Dubai, which debuted in 2022.

Stanbury also debuted the “Black Suede Studio” shoe collection. Stanbury began her “Divorced Not Dead” podcast in 2020, which she discusses her personal life and romantic relationships.

Stanbury relocated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2016 as a result of her husband’s employment offer. Following fifteen years of marriage, Stanbury and Habib declared their separation in December 2019.

In 2021, she married Spanish football player Sergio Carrallo.

Glen Davis 40 Months Prison Sentence: Who Is Glen Davis ‘Big Baby’?

Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis was sentenced on Thursday to 40 months in prison plus three years’ supervised release over a fraud scheme on the league’s health and welfare benefit plan.

Glen Davis 40 Months Prison Sentence

A federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York indicted Davis and eighteen other former NBA players on October 7, 2021, on counts of conspiracy to conduct healthcare fraud and wire fraud for allegedly defrauding the NBA’s health and welfare benefit plan.

It is alleged that he submitted false insurance claims in an attempt to get reimbursed. Davis was found guilty of healthcare fraud on November 15, 2023. Davis received a sentence of forty months in jail on May 9, 2024.

The former NBA player was found guilty on Thursday in New York of participating in a $5 million scam to defraud the league’s health and welfare benefit plan, and he was sentenced to 40 months in jail.

Prosecutors accused Davis of filing $27,000 in claims for a dental procedure in Beverly Hills, despite the fact that on the day of the procedure he was traveling from Las Vegas to Paris.

He is one of the athletes accused of participating in a criminal conspiracy, along with over a dozen others.

In the NBA Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan case, eighteen former players—including Terrence Williams and Keyon Dooling—were found guilty of filing fraudulent medical claims.

Davis, 38, was found guilty on many counts of fraud and conspiring to make false claims. Davis had maintained his innocence since the case’s indictments were delivered in October 2021.

He was mandated to make a payment of $80,000. His supervised release is subject to requirements such as taking a course on financial management and getting prescribed medication.

Williams, the alleged mastermind of what the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has called a “wide-ranging scheme to steal millions of dollars,” was given a 10-year sentence in August of last year.

Will Bynum, a former NBA player who was found guilty with Davis in November, received an 18-month sentence last month, part of which was for lying to a jury while testifying.

Sabrina Shroff, Davis’s defense lawyer, remained silent. The Southern District of New York press office similarly refrained from commenting.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Finkel described Davis in court as having made a “sophisticated and intelligent effort” to conceal his wrongdoings.

A plethora of pre-sentencing materials, including testimonies from family members, previous coaches, and two representatives of the NBA players’ union, executive director Andre Iguodala and general counsel Ron Klempner, were brought to the court on Davis’ behalf.

“On behalf of all of our NBPA members past and present, I respectfully ask that you consider Glen’s accomplishments and the positive impact he has had on those around him when determining his sentence,” Iguodala stated in his letter. “I recognize the seriousness of this legal matter and appreciate the thoroughness of the judicial process and ask for leniency with these factors in mind.”

But nobody from the public attended the sentencing, save for two journalists and six people who were there on behalf of the prosecution.

Fighting back tears, Shroff told the court, “It pains me that there is no one here for Mr. Davis.”

Although she accepted that her client had made “poor decisions,” she argued in favor of a time-served sentence that included community service, mental health counseling, and cannabis addiction treatment.

Throughout the hearing, Davis, who played a key role in the Boston Celtics’ 2008 championship run and ended his NBA career after the 2014–15 season, became more and more emotional, shaking his head, putting his face in his hands, and letting out long, deep sighs of incredulity.

He begged Judge Valerie E. Caproni, “When I lost basketball, I lost myself,” prior to the imposition of the punishment. “I ask you, your honor, to help me get back to who I am.”

Terrance Williams, a former player for the New Jersey Nets, was sentenced to 10 years in jail in August after he acknowledged planning the plot from 2017 to 21.

Sebastian Telfair, a former Los Angeles Clipper and star of Coney Island High School was placed on three years of probation and had to pay more than $350,000 in January, although he was spared jail time for his involvement in the scheme.

Will Bynum, a former NBA player, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and have to pay back $183,000 in April.

After Davis and Bynum were found guilty in November, Manhattan U.S. Attorney Damian Williams released a statement saying, “While many of the more than 20 defendants convicted in this case were well-known NBA stars, their conduct was otherwise a typical fraudulent scheme designed to defraud the NBA’s health care plan and net  over $5 million in illicit profits.”

“Today’s conviction shows that anyone who engages in fraud is subject to criminal charges regardless of their notoriety or success in sports or any other field.”

Who Is Glen Davis ‘Big Baby’?

Ronald Glen Davis, a former professional basketball player from the United States, known by the nickname “Big Baby” was born on January 1, 1986.

He played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, and St. John’s Edge

Following his time as an LSU Tiger, Davis was chosen with the 35th overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA Draft. He was dealt to the Boston Celtics shortly after, and he went on to win the 2008 NBA Finals with them.

The Orlando Magic acquired Brandon Bass on December 12, 2011, in return for Von Wafer and Davis. Despite scoring a career-high 31 points, Davis led the Detroit Pistons 95–102 on April 3, 2012.

In a double-overtime defeat against the Philadelphia 76ers on December 3, 2013, he scored a career-high 33 points, grabbed three rebounds, and disheveled three assists.

Davis signed a contract with the St. John’s Edge of the National Basketball League of Canada on December 5, 2018. Davis averaged 17.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in the 2018–19 campaign. He was selected for the Third Team All-NBLC.

What Is Neurocysticercosis? Its Causes, Symptoms And Treatment

What Is Neurocysticercosis? Its Causes, Symptoms And Treatment. Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he once suffered neurocysticercosis, a brain infection linked to larvae from pork tapeworms

An image of a pork tapeworm.

Neurocysticercosis is a specific form of the infectious parasitic disease cysticercosis that is caused by larvae of a tapeworm found in pigs.

Neurocysticercosis occurs when cysts formed by the infection take hold within the brain, causing neurologic syndromes such as epileptic seizures.

Worldwide, it is a frequent cause of seizures. It’s been referred to as “arguably the most common parasitic disease of the human nervous system” and a “hidden epidemic”.

Although it was once thought to be a swine illness, cysticercosis is now recognized as the most prevalent helminthic infection of the neurological system and one of the primary causes of acquired epilepsy globally.

A computed tomography (CT) scan is used to identify neurocysticercosis.

It is can be caused or gotten from consuming undercooked or raw pork that is infected with tapeworms. They produce tapeworm eggs in their stool and contaminate food or surfaces by not washing their hands As a result, tapeworm eggs may inadvertently be swallowed by them or by anyone around who eats that food or comes into contact with those surfaces.

The eggs develop into larvae after being swallowed and can move from the intestine to the brain. The larvae create cysts, which are fluid-filled pockets that resemble tiny, transparent balloons with a diameter of one centimeter.

The eggs are “real sticky,  “They get on people’s hands and under their fingernails. Hand-to-mouth I think is an important route of transmission, said Dr. Clinton White, an infectious disease professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Signs and symptoms Of Neurocysticercosis

The symptoms of neurocysticercosis depends on the number and location of cysts, as well as the host’s immune response to the parasite.

The most common clinical manifestations include:

  • Seizures
  • Intracranial hypertension
  • Focal deficits
  • Cognitive alterations
  • Headaches
  • Blindness
  • Meningitis
  • Dementia
  • Blurred vision
  • Dizziness
  • Psychosis or memory loss.

Treatment Of Neurocysticercosis

Neurocysticercosis is treated with praziquantel (PZQ) and/or albendazole as a long-term medicine in addition to epileptic therapy.

It could be required to use steroid medication to reduce the inflammatory response to dying cysticerci.

In certain situations, such as large parenchymal cysts, intraventricular cysts, or hydrocephalus, surgery for the removal of brain cysts may be required.

It has been demonstrated that albendazole lowers the risk of seizure recurrence in people who have a single non-viable intrathecal cyst.

More randomized controlled trials are required to assess the effectiveness of antiepileptic medications (AEDs) in preventing seizures in individuals exhibiting symptoms other than seizures, as well as the length of AED treatment in these circumstances.

In the bombshell suit, Emilio Garcia claimed that the 29-year-old rapper and Grammy Award winner had created a hostile and unbearable work atmosphere.

Garcia started working as a personal cameraman for the rapper, real name Megan Pete, in 2018. A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday claims that Garcia left his job a year later to devote himself full-time to the job.

Jay-Z formed Pete’s record label, Roc Nation, and he was paid $4,000 a month.

But Garcia says that after traveling to Ibiza, Spain, in June 2022 with Pete, his ideal job turned into a nightmare.

After a night out, Garcia, Pete, and three other people allegedly got into an SUV, and the rapper and one of the women allegedly started having sex next to him, according to the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit The U.S. Sun was able to get, Garcia said he was “embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the whole ordeal” and that he was stuck in the moving car.

According to the lawsuit, Pete asked him if he had witnessed the tryst the next day.

According to the lawsuit, Pete told Garcia, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw,” after Garcia acknowledged he had.

The photographer says that Pete started insulting him and calling him names that made him look overweight after that.

Pete, he claimed, had called him a “fat b***h” on several occasions and told him to “spit your food out” and “you don’t need to be eating.”

In addition, Garcia said that Pete had reduced his salary following the incident and made him put in long hours without taking breaks.

Roc Nation informed Garcia in June 2023 that “his services would no longer be required,” but Garcia remained willing to collaborate with her in spite of this, the complaint claims.

After over a year, Garcia is requesting over six figures in unpaid overtime, pay, and legal costs.

Ron Zambrano, the attorney for Garcia, released a statement saying, “Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior, and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct.”

“Inappropriate is putting it lightly.”

Kate Roughley: Nursery Manager Killed Baby By Strapping Her Face Down To Bean Bag

Kate Roughley: Nursery Manager Killed Baby By Strapping Her Face Down To Bean Bag

Genevieve Meehan, also known as “Gigi,” was discovered “unresponsive and blue” at Tiny Toes Day Nursery in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester, on May 9, 2022. It is believed that Gigi’s death was caused by Kate Roughley’s mistreatment.

Additionally, the kid had been placed in a bean bag with a harness and positioned on her front, face down, rather than on her back as required by safe sleep standards.

She was also practically covered from head to toe with a blanket, which raised the possibility of her overheating.

The nine-month-old was treated with “disturbing” animosity by the qualified nurse, who reportedly instructed her to “stop whinging,” according to testimony given in court.

Genevieve, who was fighting for her life, was weeping and writhing in agony, but Roughley, 37, ignored her.

Nurse Kate Roughley, 37, seen leaving Manchester Crown Court, has gone on trial accused of the manslaughter of nine-month old Genevieve Meehan

Nurse Kate Roughley, 37, seen leaving Manchester Crown Court, has gone on trial accused of the manslaughter of nine-month-old Genevieve Meehan

“Her death was not the result of some terrible or unavoidable accident—we say her death arose from ill treatment she suffered at the hands of this defendant,” stated prosecutor Peter Wright.

He informed the jury that Roughley, the nursery’s 17-year-old deputy manager, was serving as the baby room’s leader on the day of the tragedy.

After her parents John and Katie dropped her off at 9 a.m., Genevieve was discovered to be unresponsive at approximately 3 p.m. that same day.

Mr. Wright claims that after CCTV evidence was examined, the reason of the baby’s health issues was discovered.

He added that Roughley had put Genevieve to sleep that afternoon, wrapping her in a blanket so tightly that she was immobile.

After being taken to the hospital, the nine-month-old was unable to be saved and passed away later that day.

Kate Roughley, a 37-year-old qualified nursery nurse, is charged with manslaughter and an alternative count of child cruelty.

Days prior to the infant’s passing, jurors were informed that Roughley “for some inexplicable reason appeared to have taken against Genevieve.”

When the toddler sobbed, she was heard urging her to “go home” and to “stop your whinging.”

According to prosecutor Peter Wright KC, “Her hostility toward Genevieve was, we say, as illogical as it was disturbing.”

In May 2022, Genevieve, also referred to as Gigi by her family, passed away from a fatal mix of asphyxia and pathologic stress.

After she was unable to breathe correctly, Mr. Wright noted that her sleeping position was a “obvious recipe for disaster”.

Kate Roughley informed the police that she checked on the kids at the nursery at least once every five minutes when the police were called.

This was a “deliberate lie on her part to conceal the awful truth of what she had done,” according to Mr. Wright.

Roughley, of Heaton Norris near Stockport, denies accusations of child abuse and manslaughter.

The baby’s decline was not fully realized at the time, according to Manchester Crown Court, until CCTV was reviewed after her death.

Roughley was heard telling a colleague, “Just ignore anyone if they start.” as she headed for the bathroom.

Five minutes later, Genevieve exhibited movements “entirely consistent with an increasingly exhausted child struggling in order to survive,” the court heard, as well as a side-to-side head movement and raised legs.

“Kate Roughley had put Genevieve to sleep that afternoon in the baby room,” Mr. Wright stated.

“Doing so had involved her swaddling Genevieve so tightly that the child was effectively unable to move.”

The infant was reportedly restrained on her front by “means of a harness” on a bean bag instead of to a cot or sleeping mat, as the court was informed.

After that, the jury heard, she was “practically” covered from head to foot in a blanket that would have increased her danger of overheating.

Mr. Wright continued: “Unsurprisingly, Genevieve was distressed by this treatment but her cries were ignored and she was left tightly swaddled, restrained and covered in this position.”

Genevieve was left face down and essentially immobile between 1.35 and 3.12 pm, the court heard,

Jurors were informed at this point that her cries were “simply ignored”.

“Any level of interest in her wellbeing was, we say, sporadic and, at best, fleeting during this period,” the prosecutor stated.

“Genevieve was clearly and seriously at risk of suffocation and death. However, Kate Roughley disregarded it, and it was already too late when she checked Genevieve with anything that even somewhat seemed a sincere concern for her welfare.

“The defendant treated Genevieve in a way that all sober and reasonable people would recognise was both dangerous and would, unless averted, subject Genevieve to the risk of some harm.”

CCTV recorded the sounds of weeping and coughing for a few seconds between 2.10 and 2.12 pm.

It was reported that even after Roughley approached Genevieve and lifted the outer blanket covering the child’s head, the distress persisted.

The baby’s last leg motions were visible at 2:24 PM, according to Mr. Wright, who was in the kitchen area with the nursery manager.

Tragically, Genevieve “remained on the beanbag seemingly unchecked and motionless” while other children were checked by Roughley, but not her. This was disclosed to the jury.

The prosecution continued: “The sad reality is that by this time she had, in all probability, succumbed to the stresses placed on her body and its ability freely to breathe, and had asphyxiated.”

Jurors heard Roughley had previously referred to Genevieve as a “stress head”, and told her: “Genevieve go home. Please, I’m even asking nicely. You are driving me bananas.”

The court was told Roughley is a qualified nursery nurse and early years practitioner with 17 years of experience.

At the time of Genevieve’s death, she was the duty baby room leader and in charge of sleep arrangements.

Roughley, of Heaton Norris, Stockport, denies manslaughter and an alternative count of child cruelty.

The trial, estimated to last four weeks continues at Manchester Crown Court.

“Dunnellon Man Faces Charges for Stealing Bikes and Breaking into Cars; Suspected of Being Linked to 22 Recent Thefts from Convertibles with Soft Tops around UF Campus”

Staff report

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Brandon George Ausherman, 31, of Dunnellon, has been charged in four burglary/theft cases; he was already in the Alachua County Jail after being arrested on April 9 after calls were received about a person in a mask pulling on bicycles at bike racks on the University of Florida campus.

Post Miranda, Ausherman reportedly said he was taking his bike from the rack, but he has no affiliation with the university, and the bike had previously been reported stolen. Ausherman was charged with loitering/prowling, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and bail was set at $4,500.

On April 4, a victim reported to Gainesville Police Department (GPD) that he had left his car parked in a parking garage at Theory Apartments, 1205 NW 5th Avenue, and came back to find his car door and trunk open. He said that three power tools, valued at $600, were stolen from the car. Surveillance video reportedly showed a white male wearing a “SLAY” hoodie, black hat, and black face mask. The suspect was also riding a bike that had been stolen from a nearby parking garage.

A second vehicle burglarized at Theory Apartments on April 4 was a BMW convertible; the suspect climbed in through a large cut in the soft top and broke open the glove compartment. The damage to the car is estimated at $5,000.

A third vehicle at Theory Apartments was a convertible Mustang; the victim’s driver’s license and credit cards were stolen in that burglary, and the damage to the car was estimated at $2,000. The stolen credit card was fraudulently used at three different locations, with $274.80 in confirmed fraudulent charges. One of the stores reportedly provided surveillance video showing a man wearing a “SLAY” hoodie, a black hat, and a black face mask.

Also on April 4, a victim reported to GPD that her bicycle was stolen from the locked bicycle storage area inside the locked parking garage at the Hub Apartments, 1258 NW 3rd Avenue. The gate requires a key fob for entry, but the report notes that key fobs have been stolen in vehicle burglaries in the area. The bicycle is the same one seen in the Theory Apartments video, and Ausherman was reportedly riding the same bike when he was arrested on campus.

The arrest reports note that over the past two weeks, the University of Florida Police Department (UFPD) and GPD responded to 22 different reports of vehicle burglaries, specifically soft-top convertibles, inside parking garages. In each case, the convertible top was cut, and the vehicles were entered through the top. The damage in the cases is estimated at over $60,000. Video from the various garages showed a suspect in a black “SLAY” hoodie or blue flannel jacket.

Ausherman reportedly refused to answer questions during a post-Miranda interview on the new charges at the jail, and he also reportedly refused to cooperate with the interview that is conducted before an inmate’s First Appearance, so it is unknown how long he has been in the area. Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $75,000.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Zoe Henry’s Departure from Emmerdale: Career Details and Latest News

Is Zoe Henry leaving Emmerdale? This talk escalated after Zoe Henry’s character Rhona Goskirk was blamed on the series, which could have made her character have a turning point in the series.

The viewers of Emmerdale will recall that last year, Rohana got to know that her ex-husband Gus was expecting a baby with his partner Lucy.

Key Takeaways

  • In the latest episode, Zoe Henry’s character, Rhona Roskirk, seemed to get justice, as the episode ended with suspense.
  • Rhona said liar to Gus on the face after he started to blame her for everything.
  • People were concerned that Zoe was about to leave the cast with her character facing huge blame, but the latest episode favored the things on her.

On the January 2024 episode, it was telecasted that Rhona Goskirk went missing with the baby Ivy, and Marol also feared that he would never see them again.

And after Gus revealed that he planned to move to France with Ivy, Rohana decided to abduct the baby and flee the village.

However, later, Rhona was taken into custody after Gus called the police over her.

Is Zoe Henry Leaving Emmerdale? Rhona Goskirk’s Justice Hangs

No, Zoe Henry is not leaving Emmerdale’s cast. In the recent episode, the jury told her that she wasn’t to blame for Lucy Malcom’s homicide.

Discussing the latest episode of Emmerdale, which was aired on 11th April 2024, revealed the truth of Rhona Goskirk’s behavior.

Earlier this year, the series made a surprising move when Rhona took her ex-husband’s baby.

Rhona is the biological mum of Ivy, as Gus had stolen her embryos and given them to Lucy, who couldn’t have a child of her own.

While in court, Rhona was supported by her husband, Marlon, and her mother, Mary.

She was there trying to clear the air with Gus before the trial, insisting to the judge that both of them had Ivy’s best interest at heart.

However, Gus had other things in his mind and replied,

She’d be locked up for good.

After taking the stand, Gus tried to appeal by talking about his grief over losing his partner, Lucy, and said to the jury how Rhona had manipulated him to convince him to get away from Ivy.

But Rhona replied immediately with the word “liar.”

And the situation took a turn when Vanessa Woodfield was called to testify.

Rohana’s best friend shared that she was never concerned about Ivy’s well-being while she was with Rhona.

However, under the pressure of persecution questions, she ultimately crumbled.

She explained how Lucy had an underlying health condition as she was suffering from bleeding during the birth.

This hinted that her demise had nothing to do with the stress of their row, as Guy had suggested.

The final second of the episode shows that Rhoda’s fate is still balanced, though Gus thought she would be getting behind bars.
