Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding Critics React to Surprising ‘Tacky Detail

Imagine the extravagance achievable with the combined fortunes of pop sensation Taylor Swift and sports star Travis Kelce; one might expect their nuptials to rival a royal affair. Yet, their big day was critiqued for several choices, most glaringly the venue—who knew Madison Square Garden was the pinnacle of romance in New York City? However, the real buzz among guests centered around the catering decision, as Swift and Kelce surprised everyone with a buffet-style meal instead of traditional plated courses.

Given the sheer magnitude of nearly 1,000 guests, a buffet seems somewhat practical. Still, no one doubts Swift and Kelce’s ability to serve personalized meals if they chose. It’s possible they allocated their substantial budget to transform the iconic MSG into a dreamy wedding landscape. One guest shared with the Daily Mail that opting for a buffet felt “tacky.” While rich and varied, the buffet led to congestion and the challenge of finding seats, forcing some to stand and eat. Nevertheless, the spread offered diverse cuisines across various stations, making it an occasion worth the wait, even for A-listers like Swift and Kelce’s guests.

Taylor and Travis’ wedding had its awkward moments but ultimately served its purpose

Seating shortages and congested buffet lines weren’t the only memorable moments. In a surprising twist, actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, peppering it with his signature humor. Following his engaging speech were personal vows totaling 40 minutes. Later, Lena Dunham delivered a speech, including a controversial joke that elicited mixed laughs and gasps. According to the same guest who critiqued the buffet, the champagne supply disappointingly ran dry too soon.

However, Tavia Hunt, wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, put these rumors to rest. She responded to an Instagram reel discussing the wedding hiccups: “They did not run out of champagne. There were no long lines.” She went on to say that the wedding “could not have been a more fabulous experience.” Part of the experience included several musical performances. Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks were among some of the artists who performed at the wedding, along with Taylor Swift herself, naturally. While many moments from the event will probably continue to be dissected, it seems that overall, the highly anticipated day was a success for Swift and Kelce. Now that they’ve tied the knot, let’s see what comes next for the couple.

Heartbreaking Devotion: 91-Year-Old Man Fulfills Promise to Late Wife with Tragic Act

In Florida, a 91-year-old man stands accused of orchestrating the tragic death of his wife, explaining to detectives that he chose to shoot her rather than renege on a promise to never admit her into a nursing home, as she struggled with Alzheimer’s disease.

Court documents reveal William Albert Lippold faces charges of first-degree premeditated murder involving a firearm, in connection with the death of his 87-year-old wife, Mary Lippold.

According to a report by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officers arrived at the Lippolds’ residence on Como Court in St. Augustine shortly after receiving a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The alert was made by the couple’s son, who claimed his father had fatally wounded his mother.

Upon their arrival, deputies requested both William Lippold and his 63-year-old son, David Lippold, to exit the house. While securing the premises, William purportedly offered a spontaneous confession, stating, “It’s not complicated, I shot my wife.”

Deputies found Mary Lippold dead on a bed in the master bedroom beside a firearm, a spent shell casing and a note, with blood surrounding her body.

David Lippold told detectives his father had called him that morning and said, “I did something bad, I need you to come over.” When he arrived at the house, his father asked him to sit down before telling him he had killed his mother, according to the affidavit.

David Lippold said he then walked into the bedroom and found his mother “obviously deceased” with blood, a gun and a note nearby. He also told investigators that his father said he had tried to kill himself by placing a plastic bag over his head after the shooting but “ultimately couldn’t do it.”

According to the affidavit, David Lippold explained that his father had been the sole caregiver for his mother.

During a post-Miranda interview, Lippold told detectives he had been planning the killing for about a month.

“William described his wife as blind and having Alzheimer’s and that he was her sole caretaker [sic],” the affidavit states. “William said he had previously promised his wife he would never put her in a nursing home, so he views this as keeping his promise to her. William also described text messages and emails he had shared back and forth with his adult children about the stress of the situation.”

Lippold allegedly admitted recently purchasing the firearm used in the shooting, going to a firing range to learn how to use it and planning to suffocate himself with a plastic bag afterward, though he said the attempt failed.

The affidavit also states that detectives canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with a resident who reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot around 11 p.m. the previous night.

Neighbors described the couple as well-liked members of the community in interviews with Jacksonville CBS affiliate WJXT.

“Well, she was blind, and frail. And then he started getting even frailer. But they were a really nice couple, and everybody’s heart broke,” neighbor Bill Meyers told the station. “Everybody in the neighborhood’s heart broke because we all loved the guy and we’d do anything for him.”

Lippold remained in custody on the murder charge as of Wednesday. Court records did not indicate whether he had retained an attorney or when he was scheduled to appear in court.

North Korean Missile Unit Joins Russian Forces in Ukraine as Moscow-Pyongyang Ties Strengthen

0

In a significant move escalating the conflict in Eastern Europe, Russia has initiated the deployment of a North Korean missile unit, according to an intelligence source from Ukraine. The unit reportedly comes equipped with as many as 120 ballistic missiles and six launchers, and is intended to bolster Russia’s campaign in Ukraine, a Ukrainian intelligence official disclosed to Reuters on Wednesday.

This development highlights a tightening of military relations between Moscow and Pyongyang. Around 90 personnel from North Korea are anticipated to be stationed in Russia’s western Voronezh region to facilitate the integration of this new unit, as reported by Andrii Cherniak from Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR).

Adding to the complexity of the situation, Cherniak revealed that North Korea has already supplied Russia with a fresh consignment of 40 KN-23 and KN-24 ballistic missiles, as confirmed by Reuters.

High-level negotiations are set to conclude next month, finalizing the specifics of this deployment and further shaping the future landscape of the regional conflict.

The intelligence report follows a massive Russian barrage against Kyiv and the surrounding region Aug. 4.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Moscow launched 24 ballistic missiles, four cruise missiles and 115 drones overnight, killing at least 17 people.

Zelenskyy argued more lives could have been saved had Western allies replenished Ukraine’s depleted stockpiles of air defense interceptors.

Zelenskyy previously warned that Moscow had been preparing since June to receive additional North Korean military personnel in the Voronezh region, according to reports.

Cherniak told Reuters a Russian strike in late July marked the first recorded use of North Korean ballistic missiles against Ukrainian targets since August 2025.

According to HUR estimates, Russia has received approximately 150 KN-23 and KN-24 missiles from North Korea since late 2023.

Military analysts say Russia is increasingly relying on ballistic weapons because they require advanced defense systems — such as the U.S.-made Patriot — to intercept.

The Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) assessed that Russia is deliberately incorporating more ballistic missiles into its long-range strike packages to maximize pressure on Ukraine’s limited air defenses.

ISW added that North Korea is gaining critical battlefield data from the conflict, allowing Pyongyang to refine its missile performance using Russian operational experience.

North Korea has emerged as one of Moscow’s key military allies since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.

Reuters reported that Pyongyang has supplied millions of artillery shells and previously sent 14,000 troops to Russia’s Kursk region to counter Ukraine’s 2024 cross-border incursion.

Cherniak also noted that roughly 9,500 North Korean troops are still in Kursk, though they are not engaged in active combat right now.

A report by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) states that, since Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, North Korea has supplied Moscow with large quantities of artillery and rocket ammunition, cannon and rocket artillery systems and ballistic missiles.

The policy institute described the Russia-North Korea relationship as one of the “most consequential among the Axis” and the only partnership in which one member has deployed troops in combat to assist another.

Tragic Murder-Suicide in Missouri: Neighbor Ends Lives of Mother and Daughter

0

In a chilling incident that has left a Missouri community reeling, a mother and her teenage daughter were fatally shot by their elderly neighbor over a dispute about noise. The confrontation turned deadly outside their House Springs home, and days later, the perpetrator succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Jessica Lashly, 38, and her 17-year-old daughter, Jersey Greer, tragically lost their lives after an encounter with their 73-year-old neighbor, Robert Winkelman, on the night of July 25. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal confrontation occurred around 8:30 p.m., sparked by a complaint regarding noise and other activities at the Lashly residence.

Winkelman approached his neighbor’s home to voice his grievances, confronting Lashly in a dramatic escalation. The argument quickly turned violent after a comment from Lashly reportedly infuriated Winkelman.

In a shocking turn of events, Winkelman produced a firearm and shot Jessica Lashly in the head, authorities reported. The horrific scene unfolded further when Jersey Greer, witnessing her mother’s fall, rushed to provide aid but became a victim herself as Winkelman turned the weapon on her, fatally wounding the teenager.

Greer rushed to give first aid to her wounded mother, but the crazed neighbor fired his gun at the teen, also striking her in the head.

“Jersey’s last moments, she was trying to save my mom,” Greer’s twin sister, Justice, told KSDK. “It just shows how brave she is, and I hope I can be half as brave as she is.”

Justice Greer, who was at work during the shooting, says her mother and sister had just returned to the house when Winkelman accosted them.

“They had just gotten home, and I kept thinking I wish my mom weren’t outside at that time. Obviously it wasn’t her fault. We don’t even know our neighbors, so it’s not anything she could’ve controlled,” the grieving teen said.

Winkelman allegedly chased a third person at the home but didn’t fire a shot.

Police reported to the house, where they found Winkelman and attempted to detain him, but the gunman turned the gun around and shot himself in the head.

Lashly, Greer and Winkelman were all rushed to local hospitals in critical condition.

Lashly and Greer died two days later on July 27, their family wrote in their shared obituary.

“Though their lives ended far too soon, the love they shared as mother and daughter will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew them,” the family wrote.

At the time of her death, Jersey Greer donated several of her organs to help six patients across the country, her friends said on social media.

“Knowing that three children and three adults have another chance at life because of Jersey brings a measure of peace during this hard season of our lives,” the post read. “While we would give anything to have her here, we are so proud of the incredible gift she gave.”

Greer, a rising high school senior who played lacrosse with her twin sister at Northwest High School, dreamed of playing college lacrosse with her twin sister after graduation.

“She was literally just the funniest person ever,” Justice Greer said of her sister. “She could make anybody laugh. She was really supportive about anything and everything. She could always tell when someone was sad or needed uplifting, and she was always the one to do it.”

Her teammates remembered her as a compassionate leader with a great personality.

“If you know Jersey, you know the joy, kindness, and light she brings to everyone around her. As her lacrosse family, we have witnessed her strength, determination, and the incredible person she is both on and off the field. Now it’s our turn to stand beside her and her family,” the team wrote in a GoFundMe.

Following the deaths of Lashly and Greer, officials obtained a no-bond arrest warrant for Winkelman, who was still hospitalized in critical condition.

He was charged with two counts of Assault in the First Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.

Winkelman, however, died Sunday from his gunshot wound and is unable to be tried for the horrific murder, the sheriff’s office said in an update on Tuesday.

Woman Deported After Slapping Teen in MAGA Apparel Faces Ultimate Consequence

0

A Canadian woman, facing deportation after slapping a teenager for wearing a MAGA hat, has struggled to gather enough financial support for her legal battle, falling short of her goal by more than half.

Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, found herself at the center of controversy after being caught on camera attacking a girl on the Jersey Shore boardwalk during Fourth of July festivities. She later surrendered to authorities after video evidence of the incident surfaced, leading to a warrant for her arrest.

Tracey, whose visa had expired, was residing illegally in the U.S. at the time. This led to her being placed in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and detained at the infamous Delaney Hall facility.

Recently, Tracey was moved to ICE’s processing center in Laredo, Texas. During a telephonic hearing in the state, she admitted to misdemeanor simple assault. Consequently, a judge mandated her deportation.

In an effort to aid her legal defense, an online fundraising campaign was launched in mid-July, aiming for $10,000. However, by Wednesday evening, the fund had only reached $4,857.

Earlier that month, Tracey’s husband, Matthew Geroni, 42, had set up a GoFundMe for the same purpose, but the website soon took it down.

Geroni told the Daily Mail at the time that the fundraiser was shut down because it had been reported by ‘MAGA people.’

The newer online fundraiser, established on the website GiveSendGo, likewise claimed, ‘Our original GoFundMe campaign was removed and all donations were refunded after a coordinated mass-reporting campaign by a Facebook group targeted the fundraiser.’

However, GoFundMe policies clearly dictate that fundraisers on the platform are not allowed if they are raising money for someone accused of crimes.

Tracey, who was dubbed the ‘Maple Leaf Menace’ in an X post by the Department of Homeland Security, confronted a group of teenagers on July 3 who were wearing ‘patriotic colored’ clothes, which were reportedly emblazoned with ‘Trump’ and ‘ICE’, before she slapped one of the teens.

In the footage of the assault, Tracey could be seen striking the teenager once on the shoulder before squaring up and delivering another blow across the girl’s face.

She was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction. Her more serious charges were dropped by prosecutors in exchange for her guilty plea on Tuesday.

In addition to the deportation, she was also sentenced to one day in jail, but she was granted time served for the days she spent behind bars in Ocean County after turning herself in.

Although Tracey was in the US illegally at the time of the assault, her lawyer, Francis Hodgson, attempted to paint her in a positive light during Tuesday’s hearing.

‘She met her husband and didn’t leave, but while she was [here], she maintained employment and was a productive member of society,’ Hodgson told the judge.

The lawyer simply described the attack as ‘unfortunate,’ and said his client has ‘taken responsibility for her role in it, and this is a reasonable judgment, Judge, that is consistent with other similar-type matters that happen every day during the summer on this boardwalk.’

Prosecutors said that the family of the victim, who was identified only by the initials MH due to her age, was okay with the plea deal.

Judge Guy P Ryan read an impact statement from the family and said: ‘The parents recite that, “Thank goodness for cameras and cell phones to have documented this incident.”‘

The victim and her family ‘look forward to justice being served, and they thank all the agencies involved,’ the judge added.

It is unclear exactly when Tracey will be deported back to Canada and how long she will be prohibited from returning to the US, though the judge said he expects it to be ‘a very long time.’

Tracey’s husband, Geroni, provided a different account of the attack on the teen when he spoke to the Daily Mail last month.

He claimed the group of teenagers ‘provoked’ Tracey and were causing mayhem on the Jersey Shore boardwalk, alleging that they ‘pushed and shoved’ her during the confrontation.

Geroni said the teenagers had been ‘provoking’ many people along the boardwalk, but singled out his wife because she was wearing ‘punk’ clothing that clashed with their MAGA attire. ‘They were wearing ICE merch,’ he said.

The husband said police at the scene let Tracey leave and described it as a ‘nothing-burger,’ but said investigators then reviewed a short surveillance clip of the confrontation that led to a warrant being issued for her arrest, which Geroni said was ‘out of context.’

Geroni said that Tracey was almost freed from the Ocean County jail before being hit with an immigration detainer at the last minute.

Tracey’s husband, who often shares social media posts attacking Republicans, including wishing for Mitch McConnell to die and for the Trump family to get cancer, said he believes Donald Trump is partially to blame for the hostility.

‘Trump is emboldening these people. They’re proud of their hate, not love,’ he said.

When asked how he squares this stance with his social media posts about McConnell, Geroni said it was ‘not the same’, and answered: ‘What are we even talking about here bro?’

Geroni said he and his wife love their lives in Ocean Beach, but he would move to Canada if needed. ‘I would do anything to be with my wife,’ he said.

Austria Sets New Temperature Record Amid Europe’s Sweeping Heatwave

0

Amid a relentless heatwave gripping central and southern Europe, Austria has recorded its highest temperature to date, while Hungary saw its citizens cutting back on electricity usage.

Europe continues to bear the brunt as the world’s fastest-warming continent, experiencing unprecedented heat and severe wildfires throughout the summer. In recent weeks, France and Spain have been particularly affected, with devastating consequences.

The heatwave’s intensity has now shifted eastward. Italy has issued red heat alerts for several major cities, as temperatures soared close to 40 degrees Celsius in some regions, while in Albania, emergency crews were fighting a wildfire in the southern area of Mallakaster.

The oppressive heat led the Vatican to relocate Pope Leo’s first weekly general audience post-July break indoors, a deviation from the usual St Peter’s Square venue, offering much-needed respite to visitors sweltering in the capital.

“I suppose it’s better to hold it indoors because of the heat,” remarked Diego Amaya, a visitor from Mexico, appreciating the change.

Austria sets new record

The temperature hit a record 41.2 C in the Austrian town of Bad Deutsch-Altenburg near the border with Slovakia on Wednesday, national weather service GeoSphere Austria said. The previous record of 41C was set on Tuesday in nearby Vienna.

Across the border in Hungary, companies and households cut power consumption this week after a government appeal to ease pressure on the grid amid the severe drought. The capital Budapest is facing the peak of the heatwave over the next two days, with temperatures rising close to 40C on Wednesday.

A river at low levels

Dwindling water levels on the Danube have forced Hungary to largely shut down its sole nuclear plant, which uses the river’s waters for cooling, creating an energy crisis that has stretched power supply capacity to its limits.

Slovenia’s only nuclear power plant, Krsko, which supplies neighbouring Croatia as well, said on Wednesday it would begin reducing reactor output overnight due to exceptionally high temperatures and low flows on the Sava River, which flows into the Danube. The plant will initially cut generation to 80 per cent of capacity.

Further west, water levels on the river Rhine in Germany have hit new lows, with some cargo services stopping and other sailings continuing but with greatly reduced loads. The Rhine is a route for commodities including grains, ores and petrol.

Wildfires in Albania

In Albania’s southern Mallakaster region, wildfires forced the evacuation of about 15 families along with their livestock and pets, while ground and aerial crews fought to stop the flames reaching homes near a village.

Efforts continued to tame another wildfire, likely caused by lightning, in rocky, mountainous terrain south of the Albanian city of Gjirokaster.

In neighbouring Greece, a wildfire, possibly caused by vibrating electricity conductors and fanned by gale-force winds, has burned thousands of hectares of farmland near a popular holiday destination northwest of Athens.

The blaze appeared largely contained on Wednesday, but hundreds of firefighters remained in the area to prevent flare-ups as six helicopters doused scattered smoking spots.

In Moldova, where temperatures were likely to hit 38C on Thursday with no rain expected, President Maia Sandu urged residents to cut electricity use during evening peak hours and to conserve water.

“It is one thing to water your vegetable garden, quite another your lawn,” Sandu said on a YouTube channel podcast. “Having no water in Chisinau for several days would be a real catastrophe. I hope it won’t come to that.”

Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan told Moldovan television that neighbouring Ukraine was unable to provide power at agreed rates and Romania was also unable to supply it, even at three times the price at peak hours.

The hot, dry summer is having a worrying impact on agriculture.

The United Kingdom’s cereal harvest is on track to be the worst since comparable records began in 1984, according to an analysis published on Wednesday, as crops wither after one of the driest and hottest spring-summer periods on record.

David Beckham Reflects on Victoria’s Memorable Spice Girls Party, Revisiting Man United Grounds, and Reviving a League Two Club’s Iconic Kit Colors

0

In a nostalgic nod to the past, David Beckham shared fond recollections of his time in Salford. This came as he and Gary Neville, a fellow ex-Manchester United star, unveiled the new home kit for their club’s 2026-27 season, along with a redesigned badge.

Beckham and Neville, who have long been tight-knit friends and celebrated football figures, assumed full control of Salford City in 2025. They had previously been co-owners with fellow Class of ’92 alumni.

Now solely steering the club, the Manchester United icons have swiftly restored its original orange colors, moving away from red. They introduced a revamped club crest in an emotional video announcement that resonated with fans.

In a playful exchange, Neville teased Beckham, recalling, ‘You brought the Spice Girls to Salford. Do you remember that after party?’ Their camaraderie was evident in the banter.

Beckham smiled as he remembered the gathering at their four-bedroom home on Hazelhurst Road. It was in that house where he and his wife, Victoria, began their journey as a married couple back in the 1990s.

Neville shared that Salford always made him ‘think of Nobby Styles, in the B team at Littleton Road and just Nobby being in those changing rooms and having a go at us and saying, “Come on, lads, get your tackles in.” And stuff like that.’

‘When you have someone like Nobby Styles training you, it’s special,’ Beckham added. ‘And that’s why when we went back recently and we walked out onto Littleton Road, it’s my first time I’ve been there for 25, 30 years for a long time.

‘And I had to walk off on my own because I got emotional. You know, the fact that we have this training ground for Salford now and we’re going to renovate it. We’re going to turn it into something.

‘But it doesn’t need much because you walk in there and it just reminds you of like the history and the past that we had there.’

Stressing that the people of Salford are ‘humble and tough and caring’, Beckham added that they had been inspired by them to bring back the orange and black colours.

‘All I remember is that Salford City black and orange banner,’ he continued. ‘So, when obviously you guys took over and all of a sudden it was red, I was like, “the first thing we have to do is take it back.”‘

Beckham revealed that he plans to ‘own’ the colour orange in club football with Salford City, just as his MLS side Inter Miami have seen him ‘own’ the colour of their memorable pink kit.

Beckham and Neville have also reworked the lion badge, using a more historic style of graphic and adding the Lancastrian red rose.

‘When you look at the history of Salford, you know, the lion is so prominent, but then we wanted to introduce the rose, you know, because the Salford Lads Club is such a an important institution in in Salford. So, it means something to the people and the community.’

‘And then the circles here, you know, the famous dirty old town, the gas work, they’re sort of to symbolise the shape of the gas works,’ Neville added.

‘But that is part of what we wanted to create. It’s a real nod to the history of Salford,’ Beckham, who has been working on the design and the colour of the orange used on the shirts for seven months, continued.

Beckham added that the only resistance they had had to the wholesale changes came from ‘one or two lads who had the logo tattooed’ – with the owners vowing to pay for the fans’ tattoo removal should they wish.

As excited as Beckham and Neville are about their new kit, there may be residual disappointment that their club will have to wear them to play in League Two, after missing out on a spot in League One in heartbreaking fashion three months ago.

Salford City lost 3-0 to Notts County in the scorching Wembley heat of their play-off final, after missing out on automatic promotion by a solitary point on the final day of the season.

Brittany Cartwright Shares How She Uncovered Jax’s Relationship with Her Publicist

Brittany Cartwright opened up about the surprising way she found out her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, was romantically involved with Lori Krebs, who used to be her publicist.

On an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Brittany, 37, shared her reaction after Lori sent her a text the morning before photos of her with Jax on vacation in Mexico hit the newsstands. Brittany recounted that Lori informed her that “things had changed” and expressed understanding over Brittany feeling betrayed. Lori also mentioned that she loved Brittany and her son Cruz, claiming she had never disclosed anything to Jax. The news left Brittany in disbelief.

Paparazzi snaps, obtained by Us Weekly, captured Jax, 47, and Lori enjoying themselves at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. These images emerged as Jax celebrated his birthday in July, with insider reports suggesting a rather cozy vibe between the two. According to an onlooker, the pair were cuddling in the pool, hinting strongly at a relationship beyond mere friendship.

“They seemed inseparable with their arms wrapped around each other,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly, making it clear to observers that they shared more than just a former working relationship.

Opening up about the matter on her “When Reality Hits” podcast, Brittany hinted at eventually offering her uncensored thoughts regarding Jax’s relationship with Lori. Speaking with co-host Zack Wickham during the July 17 episode, Brittany, keeping her cards close to her chest, said she would disclose more when the moment felt right.

However, a separate source exclusively told Us on Wednesday that the public perception of Lori’s personal and professional ties to both Jax and Brittany is not accurate.

“Lori understands why Brittany feels betrayed. But the narrative that they were still ‘like family’ when this all happened isn’t accurate,” the source told Us. “Brittany and Lori haven’t been close in a very long time. Their relationship had changed significantly. They saw each other only a couple of times in the past year, never spoke outside of work, and Lori’s role had been reduced primarily to coordinating media interviews. She had already been trying to transition away from representing Brittany because she increasingly felt caught in the middle of an extremely difficult situation.”

The source pointed out, “Throughout Jax’s addiction and recovery, Lori supported both of them in different ways. As Jax made progress and focused on rebuilding his life, the professional and personal dynamics shifted. None of that changes the fact that Lori understands Brittany’s hurt, but the picture being painted of their relationship at the time isn’t an accurate one.”

Jax responded to Brittany’s WWHL appearance in the Instagram comment section for the show, accusing his estranged wife of telling “blatant lies.”

During her sitdown with Andy, 58, Brittany opened up about the betrayal she felt over a formerly close confidant dating Jax. (Jax and Brittany separated in February 2024 and initiated divorce proceedings that August. They have yet to reach a settlement.)

Lori’s attorney, Michael Kernan, told People this week that it “is inaccurate to suggest that my client engaged in an unethical dual representation” and that she has not represented Jax “for well over a year.”

Brittany shared her own timeline during her interview with Andy on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday.

“She was still my publicist,” Brittany said. “She was still getting a retainer from me. She was still making 10% of things for me. She was still my friend — family, basically. I had just invited her to a 4th of July cookout at my house.”

She went on, “Now, she’s trying to say we haven’t been friends for a year and a half? … [Lori] was here [at WWHL] the last time I was here, Andy. That was in April. The lies are insane, to try to flip the image and make them look better. It’s never going to look better.”

“I expect it from Jax. I don’t care if Jax dates someone. Move on. Leave me alone,” Brittany added. “It’s what she did! She was my family member, the person I went to whenever I was being abused in that relationship.”

Jax’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has denied Cartwright’s claims of abuse.

Later in the segment, Brittany claimed that her only communication with Jax since the scandal erupted is when he “harasses [her] on our parenting app constantly.”

“He just kinda fights with himself on there,” she joked. “It’s really bad.”

Stassi then joked, “Honestly, I guess [Jax and Lori are] right for each other. I hope they get married and I hope it lasts.”

Fiancée Betrayal Leaves Mazi Okeke Stunned: A Shocking Affair with His Driver Unveiled

Renowned Nigerian comedian Mazi Okeke recently opened up about the heart-wrenching betrayal that led to the collapse of his engagement. In a candid revelation, Okeke disclosed the shocking reason his ex-fiancée offered after he caught her having an affair with his driver.

During a video shared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Okeke described the unexpected encounter. He returned home from work, only to discover his fiancée with his driver—a moment he recounts as one of the most devastating experiences of his life.

Reflecting on the encounter, Okeke shared:

“This is how I discovered my fiancée was cheating with my driver. I was coming back from site that day. I caught them. What broke me was when I asked her why.”

As Okeke recounted, his ex-fiancée justified her actions by pointing to his demanding professional commitments. She stated that his frequent travels for work left her feeling isolated and neglected.

He further disclosed that she compared him to her ex, whom she described as someone who was always around, adding that the affair began while he spent a month in China sourcing items for his company.

“She said, ‘I’m too busy. I’m always travelling from one state to another. Her ex was always with her but I was never around. I should cut down on my dreams because I don’t give me attention.’ It all started when I went to China for one month. What baffles me is that there’s no remorse.” he added.

In a previous reported by Gistreel, Mazi opened up about the financial and personal sacrifices he made throughout their relationship, revealing that despite everything, it wasn’t enough.

His latest revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users debating whether a demanding career can ever justify infidelity in a relationship.
