Karoline Leavitt Stands by Trump During Uncomfortable Criticism

0

Karoline Leavitt made it a point to console Donald Trump during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, as he endured a speech that lauded journalists who had delved into his past association with Jeffrey Epstein.

President Trump found himself back at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington this past Friday, attending the resurgence of the dinner. This gathering marked just three months since the initial event at the DC Hilton was abruptly cancelled following an assassination attempt on April 25.

Despite the generally light-hearted atmosphere, Trump encountered an awkward moment when CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer stepped up to award a trophy to the Wall Street Journal team.

A group of journalists from the publication received The Katharine Graham Award for Courage and Accountability during the evening.

Their standout story was centered around the controversial ‘birthday card’ that Trump was rumored to have personally signed and penned a note on for the notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein, compiled by his infamous associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

The CSPAN feed cut to Trump after Blitzer noted that Trump sued WSJ and revealed one of their reporters’ home address.

The president was able to have a laugh about it, then gave a visible shrug and mouthed ‘I don’t know’ as the crowd cheered.

Leavitt then gave Trump a couple of pats on the back as Blitzer continued his introduction.

The president, however, stood up and shook hands with every member of the paper awarded that night.

Trump later appeared to joke about the awards during his own remarks Friday night, asking: ‘Do I get a say?’

Trump’s case against the Wall Street Journal over the Jeffrey Epstein ‘birthday card’ was thrown out by a federal judge in mid-April.

Trump sued the Rupert Murdoch-owned paper for $10 billion in damages after it published the letter last year, allegedly signed by the President and featuring a lewd drawing with the message: ‘May every day be another wonderful secret.’

The president denied writing the letter and said the signature was not his.

Florida District Judge Darrin P. Gayles said in his order on Monday that Trump failed to show that the article was published with ‘actual malice’ – the legal standard for proving defamation.

To prove actual malice Trump and his team would have to show that not only is the report factually incorrect, but the outlet knew so and decided to publish regardless.

‘This complaint comes nowhere close to this standard,’ Gayles wrote in his decision. ‘Quite the opposite.’

‘President Trump argues that this allegation shows that Defendants acted with serious doubts about the truth of their reporting and, therefore, with actual malice. The Court disagrees,’ he continued.

The paper published a letter allegedly penned from Trump to Epstein in 2003, for the late sex offender’s 50th birthday.

‘We have certain things in common, Jeffrey,’ the letter says, adding, ‘A pal is a wonderful thing.’

The note was written in what appears to be the outline of a woman’s body.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein and has bragged of having ended his friendship with the pedophile and kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago decades ago.

The president had vowed to appear at the rescheduled dinner to show that ‘the show must go on’ despite the attempt on his life at the original event.

His wife, First Lady Melania Trump, was absent from the event on Friday night, and he was instead seated next to Press Secretary Leavitt.

White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) President Weija Jiang also sat to his left, and the pair could be seen dining and chatting before the speeches began.

Other guests included Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Hines, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and incoming WHCA President Jacqui Heinrich.

The rescheduled dinner is taking place with heightened security in the ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria hotel, a smaller venue that held only about 700 people, instead of the Washington Hilton where the previous event was held.

Speaking at the outset of the event Friday, Jiang highlighted a rare ‘split screen’ moment in the moments after the shooting that halted the original event.

‘While journalists in the ballroom were gathering facts and getting them to the public, I got a rare glimpse of something few of us ever see in real time,’ she said.

‘In a holding room, President Trump was huddled with members of his cabinet, asking questions, finding the best way to share the answers with everyone, which is our job description too.’

‘I keep coming back to that split screen – not because it was dramatic, but because it quietly proved, no matter how complicated or tense the relationship is between the press and the presidency, what we share is far more important than anything else, and that is our duty to serve the American people,’ she said.

RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson Faces Relationship Ultimatum: A Red Flag or Path to Growth?

Vicki Gunvalson in a strapless dress at the 'RHOC' Season 20 premiere

Reality TV Headlines

Heather Dubrow has raised eyebrows over Michael Smith’s unusual antics; meanwhile, Vicki Gunvalson seems to be in no rush to walk down the aisle.

Vicki Gunvalson is basking in the joys of love. However, a co-star from her reality show is casting doubts on her beau, suggesting that he may be the source of concern.

In the hotly anticipated first episode of the 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gunvalson, the franchise’s original star, let slip that her longtime partner Michael Smith has already purchased an engagement ring. Curiously, the ring remains out of sight, as Smith reportedly keeps it securely in his possession.

“He says it’s in the safe and he’s not going to give it to me until I shape up,” Vicki revealed.

Vicki Gunvalson bought a house with boyfriend Michael Smith

Vicki and Michael have been together for four years. Last year, they even bought a house together in La Quinta, California, not far from Palm Springs. But saying “I do” is apparently too much of a commitment for the pair.

Vicki has described her businessman beau as a supportive guy who fills “my emotional love tank” and can handle her big personality.

“I’m a lot to accept,” she admitted to Bravo Insider earlier this year.

Vicki appears unbothered by the fact that Michael hasn’t yet popped the question. But her co-star Heather Dubrow thinks Michael’s behavior is “interesting.”

At first I thought it was silly,” she said during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “But then I started thinking about it.”

‘RHOC’ star Heather Dubrow is questioning Michael’s behavior

Heather felt that by telling Vicki he’d bought the ring but continuing to hold on to it, Michael was making a power play.

“So if you have the ring, cool. But if you have the ring and you’re not giving it to me, you’re sending a signal,” she said. “[It’s] a little a red flag.”

The RHOC star added that she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, had discussed the situation with Vicki and agreed that “it was bad.” (To be fair, Heather has been in a spat with Vicki over the latter’s comments that Heather and Terry inherited their money, so she’s not likely to be particularly sympathetic to Vicki right now.)

Heather might be raising her eyebrows at Michael’s behavior. But Vicki – who is twice divorced and broke up with ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers after it was revealed he’d faked a cancer diagnosis – doesn’t need to formalize thing with her man.

“We are in a committed relationship,” Vicki told E! News at the season 20 premiere party in Los Angeles on June 30. “I’ve been married twice, he’s been married once, and I don’t really feel the urge or need to get married because I am so loyal to him and so committed.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.

Unexpected Highlights from the Commonwealth Games: Flaming Teacakes and Bedazzled Unicorns

0

In a display as whimsical as it was grand, the Head of the Commonwealth made a spectacular entrance amidst a time-traveling blue box, joined by unicorns frolicking on stage and a giant teacake erupting with flames.

These captivating moments headlined the inauguration of the 2026 Commonwealth Games, which kicked off in Glasgow on Friday morning.

The event had originally been slated for Victoria, which withdrew in 2023, citing escalating expenses.

Glasgow, a city familiar with hosting the games since 2014, valiantly stepped in to rescue the event, showcasing its most dazzling unicorns to celebrate the rescue mission in style.

Operating on a streamlined budget, this edition of the Commonwealth Games has prompted discussions about its relevance, especially in light of the Victorian government’s decision to bow out.

But despite the troubles, Friday’s ceremony was a party — with scenes that looked like they could have been plucked from vivid dreams.

King Charles, wearing a dark blue suit and light tie, holds his right hand to his brow as though peering forward. Behind him is Queen Camilla in a blue dress and a man in a dark suit. Camilla is emerging from a large blue box with lighted windows.

King Charles and Camilla arrive by TARDIS

One of the most unique scenes from Friday morning was the image of King Charles and Queen Camilla emerging from a very large TARDIS — the name for the time machine in the long-running British sci-fi television show, Doctor Who.

Gasps and cheers came from the crowd as the royal couple appeared on a stage that transformed into a magic garden.

Scotland’s largest city welcomed able-bodied and para-athletes from 74 competing nations, including a third of Australia’s 257-strong team who were part of the procession.

It’s not the first time a monarch has appeared at a similar event. For the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, Queen Elizabeth II appeared to skydive into the stadium alongside Daniel Craig, James Bond-style.

In Glasgow, the UK’s new prime minister Andy Burnham was also in attendance, alongside Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney and the First Minister of Wales Rhun ap Iorwerth.

People dancing on stage. There is large old-fashioned four-sided clock suspended above them.

A party — with unicorns

The opening ceremony traversed through many facets of Glasgow’s history and culture, starting with a day in the life of the industrial city, pictured under its famous Glasgow Central Station clock.

The flashmob soon descended into a bizarre fever dream, where dancing unicorns with traffic cones paid tribute to the city’s underground club culture.

Dancers wearing sparkly silver unicorn helmets on their heads.

For decades, traffic cones have been regularly placed on an equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington and remain a symbol of Glaswegians’ resistance to authority.

The unicorn is both a nod to the playful tradition and the creature being the national animal of Scotland since the 1300s.

A female performer wearing a shiny blue and yellow star costume.

There were also plenty of cameos and performances, including from a range of Scottish celebrities.

Former Doctor Who actor Sylvester McCoy made an appearance, as well as comedian Greg McHugh, cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy, and singers Callum Beattie, KT Tunstall, Tom Walker and Nathan Evans.

King Charles even had the pleasure of meeting the official mascot for the 2026 Games — a unicorn named Finnie, with a traffic cone for a horn and a pink-and-purple mane.

Loch Ness Monsters and flaming teacakes

Victoria’s withdrawal was also referenced throughout the night — with George Black, chair of the Glasgow 2026 organising committee, hailing Scotland’s cultural capital for saving the games.

“A city built by people who believe that when something matters, you step forward,” Black said on stage.

“When the future of these Games was uncertain, Glasgow didn’t ask, ‘can we?’

“We asked, “When do we get started?'”

A loch ness monster character.

Even Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, cleared up its schedule to make an appearance.

The creature appeared on a screen before being magically coaxed onto the stage by actor Sam Heughan of Outlander fame and a group of bagpipers.

A prop of a teacake on stage with flames coming out of it.

The finale featured a giant teacake with pyrotechnics flowing from it, taking off from the centre of the stage.

It was a nod to the dancing Teacakes which appeared the last time Glasgow hosted the event in 2014.

Back then, dancers wore costumes representing dessert and national treasure, Tunnock’s Tea Cakes — which is a Scottish treat of chocolate-covered marshmallows — and quickly became a worldwide hit.

At the time, a single teacake prop sold at official auctions for over $3,000.

Today’s ceremony was held at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, which fits about 15,000 people, and was the first time a Commonwealth Games opening ceremony was held indoors.

Shrink Belly Pooch Fast: 5 Standing Exercises After 60

0

Want to ditch the planks? Discover a trainer’s five standing moves designed to tackle belly pooch post-60.

>

Dealing with persistent belly fat can be one of the most exasperating challenges as we age. Once you hit 60, factors like a slowing metabolism, muscle mass reduction, and increased sedentary habits can lead to fat comfortably settling around your midsection. Many individuals come to me, convinced they need to endure an endless cycle of planks and crunches to achieve a flatter stomach. However, the real secret is creating a more dynamic body that effortlessly burns more calories, thereby strengthening the muscles that support a tightened waistline.

While planks are fantastic for core strength, they fall short in terms of body engagement compared to standing exercises. Standing moves recruit larger muscle groups, boost your heart rate, enhance balance, and simultaneously engage the core. This powerful combination not only maximizes your energy expenditure but also fortifies those essential movement patterns you depend on daily. This is precisely why I prioritize standing exercises with my clients before introducing them to floor workouts.

Through years of coaching adults over 60, I’ve observed that those who notice significant changes around their waist are not the ones dedicating hours to abdominal exercises. Instead, they consistently engage in full-body movements that activate the core from all angles. Here are five standing exercises that can effectively strengthen your midsection, enhance posture, and elevate daily calorie burn while fostering functional fitness. When combined with a nutritious diet and regular walking, they lay the groundwork for a more robust, leaner you.

Standing Knee Drives

Whenever I want clients to activate their core while getting their heart rate moving, standing knee drives quickly become one of my favorite exercises. Every repetition challenges the abdominal muscles, hip flexors, glutes, and the supporting leg, creating a full-body movement that closely resembles powerful walking. The alternating motion also improves coordination and balance, making it especially valuable after 60. Clients often tell me they feel their entire midsection working within the first few repetitions. It’s an excellent way to build functional core strength without ever getting on the floor.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Lift one knee toward your chest.
  • Tighten your core at the top.
  • Lower with control.
  • Alternate sides.
  • Continue for 45 to 60 seconds.

If You Can Do This Many Squats After 60, Your Leg Strength Is Top-Tier

Standing Wood Chop

Rotational strength becomes increasingly important as we age because everyday activities constantly require twisting and reaching. Standing wood chops strengthen the obliques, shoulders, hips, and core while teaching your body to rotate with control instead of relying on the lower back. I frequently include this exercise because it recruits multiple large muscle groups, increasing the amount of work your body performs in a short period. Clients often notice stronger core engagement and improved mobility after several weeks of consistent practice. It’s one of the most effective standing alternatives to traditional abdominal exercises.

How to Do It

  • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Hold a light weight or clasp your hands together.
  • Start near one hip.
  • Rotate and reach diagonally across your body.
  • Return slowly.
  • Perform 10 to 12 repetitions per side.

Lateral Step with Reach

Many people overlook side-to-side movement, yet it challenges the core in ways forward-and-back exercises simply cannot. Lateral steps combined with overhead reaches engage the obliques, hips, glutes, and shoulders while improving coordination and balance. I like prescribing this movement because it raises the heart rate gently without placing excessive stress on the joints. Clients frequently report feeling more athletic and stable after making it part of their routine. The combination of movement and core activation makes it an excellent addition to any morning workout.

How to Do It

  • Stand with your feet together.
  • Step to one side.
  • Reach both arms overhead.
  • Return to the center.
  • Alternate directions.
  • Continue for 45 seconds.

5 Walking Exercises That Protect Brain Health Faster Than Crossword Puzzles After 60

Standing Cross-Body Punches

This exercise looks simple, but it quickly turns into a surprisingly effective full-body workout. Rotating through the torso while punching across the body activates the obliques, shoulders, chest, and legs while gently elevating your heart rate. I encourage clients to focus on smooth, controlled movement rather than speed because proper rotation produces better core activation. Many notice improvements in stamina along with stronger abdominal muscles after adding this exercise to their morning routine. It combines cardio and strength in one efficient movement.

How to Do It

  • Stand with your knees slightly bent.
  • Tighten your core.
  • Punch across your body.
  • Rotate through your torso.
  • Alternate arms.
  • Continue for 45 to 60 seconds.

Knicks and 76ers Roster Analysis Post-LeBron James Decision

0

As anticipation mounts for the upcoming NBA season, The Post offers its insights on the top 10 players from the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers. With LeBron James having committed to the 76ers in a surprising twist on Friday, both teams are poised to be formidable contenders in the Eastern Conference.

76ers

Projected starting five (name, age, 2025-26 points per game)

LeBron James, 41, 20.9

LeBron James, one of basketball’s titans, may have made his final career move. Could this decision to join the 76ers secure one last championship in his illustrious journey?

Jaylen Brown, 29, 28.7

Recently acquired in a high-profile exchange, the former Celtics standout once led Boston’s scoring efforts in Jayson Tatum’s absence, but now finds himself adjusting to a secondary role once more.

Joel Embiid, 32, 26.9

Joel Embiid, the towering 7-footer and one-time MVP, has battled injuries, limiting him to a mere 59 regular-season appearances over the past two years. When fit, he remains a dominant force, although his health continues to be a significant concern.

Tyrese Maxey, 25, 28.3

Philadelphia’s future undoubtedly includes Tyrese Maxey, signed to a lucrative $204 million contract. Yet, with an array of new stars joining the 76ers roster, Maxey might find his on-court demands decreasing, potentially lowering his previous tally of 21.4 attempts per game.

VJ Edgecombe, 20, 16.0

Edgecombe finished third in Rookie of the Year voting last year and will complete the starting lineup of this new-look group. His ability to create off the dribble could help create space for the stars.

Bench

Anfernee Simons, 27, 14.3

Simons, a guard, inked a two-year deal with the 76ers in free agency and will provide depth behind Maxey and Edgecombe.

Dean Wade, 29, 5.8

Philadelphia, at least in term, committed to Wade this offseason, handing the former Cavaliers forward a four-year, $39 million contract.

Labaron Philon, 20, 22.0 (Alabama)

Philon joined the 76ers as their first-round pick in June, and the rookie guard averaged 18.5 points and 5.8 assists during summer league games.

Dominick Barlow, 23, 7.7

Unless something goes awry, the 76ers won’t need Barlow to start 59 games again. He’ll instead provide a spark off the bench.

Ariel Hukporti, 24, 2.2

This spot could’ve gone to Justin Edwards (12 starts last year, 37.2 percent on 3-pointers) or Aden Bona, too. Hukporti, the Knicks’ third center last year, signed a one-year deal and will compete with Bona for the backup job behind Embiid.

Knicks

Projected starting five (name, age, 2025-26 points per game)

Jalen Brunson, 29, 26.0

The Knicks’ quest to repeat will run through their captain, with Brunson helping the Knicks snap their 53-year championship drought and becoming one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Karl-Anthony Towns, 30, 20.1

Towns endured plenty of ebbs and flows during his first season in coach Mike Brown’s system, but he made all of those growing pains an afterthought with his playoff performance.

OG Anunoby, 29, 16.7

Anunoby, who possesses the biggest contract in Knicks history ($212.5 million), produced his forever moment with the tip-in to win Game 4 of the NBA Finals — and has continued to improve his game offensively.

Mikal Bridges, 29, 14.4

Bridges silenced any lingering doubts about whether he was worth five first-round picks during the Knicks’ championship run, but now he’ll be tasked with stretching that consistency across a full season.

Josh Hart, 31, 12.0

Always a double-double threat who’s willing to fill just about any role, Hart, who enters his fourth full year with the Knicks, has become an integral piece of their success.

Bench

Miles McBride, 25, 12.0

He won’t be a bargain for long, but McBride, a strong option off the bench capable of starting when needed, will spend 2026-27 on the final year of his three-year, $13 million deal.

Landry Shamet, 29, 9.3

After fighting through injuries and surviving a nonguaranteed deal, Shamet etched his place in Knicks lore with playoff contributions off the bench — and then was rewarded with a four-year, $24 million deal.

Andre Drummond, 32, 6.4

Drummond became the Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson replacement at center behind Towns, leaving the 76ers in free agency for a one-year deal worth $3.9 million.

Jordan Clarkson, 34, 8.6

The former Sixth Man of the Year winner proved he’s still capable of contributing, even if his role — and his stats — looks a little bit different than earlier in his career.

Jose Alvarado, 28, 6.6

A feisty backup point guard capable of providing a jolt off the bench, Alvarado extended his homecoming with a three-year deal last month.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Addresses Speculation Surrounding His Marriage

0

In the face of scathing remarks from online critics, NBA luminary Giannis Antetokounmpo has stepped forward to defend the bond he shares with his spouse. Detractors on social media have audaciously suggested he could be romantically linked to multiple models instead.

Antetokounmpo, celebrated for securing the MVP title twice and being named an All-Star on ten occasions, first crossed paths with his wife Mariah amidst the vibrant backdrop of the NBA’s Summer League in Las Vegas back in 2014.

As he was gearing up for his second season in the NBA, Giannis candidly revealed that he had an immediate sense Mariah was “the one” he would eventually marry. Fast forward to now, the couple is blissfully raising four children and tied the knot in his homeland Greece in 2024.

This week, during an appearance on ‘AnesTea The Podcast’, the new Miami Heat star felt compelled to address the unfounded claims suggesting he could opt for a more glamorous partner.

“I’ve heard so many things,” he recounted. “‘Why is Giannis with this wife? He could be with a model. Not one model but 10!’ Yet, I am with my wife because she speaks the truth to me,” he articulated, shedding light on the essence of their enduring relationship.

‘She loves me, she will tell me whenever I do anything wrong. She will tell my kids the truth. I know that she will kill for my kids and she would even kill me for them.

‘I know that she won’t let my kids get a big head, and that’s the most important thing for me. I am in love. I am in love with her. As a woman and as a mother.’

Speaking about the moment they met in Las Vegas, he added: ‘I knew she would be my wife. I knew it immediately.

‘I met her in Vegas. After Vegas, I tried to talk to her, but it didn’t work out. Then later she said, “I want to get to know you.”

‘I said, “You want to get to know me?” So I started flying to Miami. You know how a lot of girls say, “You’re going to fly me out?” I was like, “Mm-mm.”

‘She was like, “Say less.” A week later, I was in Miami, and she showed up. I was like, “You came?” She said, “Yeah, I want to get to know you.”

‘Then she started spending time with my mom and my dad while he was still alive. The moment I saw her, I knew she was the person I wanted to be with. From the moment she came to Miami until today, she has never left my side. Now we have four kids.’

Antetokounmpo got his formal Heat introduction on Thursday, a couple of weeks after Miami swung the trade that landed the NBA champion along with Bobby Portis Jr. from the Bucks.

In exchange, Milwaukee received Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakucionis and draft capital.

Antetokounmpo entered the NBA in 2013. His career totals to date are 21,531 points, 8,882 rebounds and 4,484 assists.

The point and rebound totals are both fifth best in the NBA over that span, while the assist total is 13th best – and those numbers are just part of the reason why the Heat consider him to still be one of the five best players in the league.

Antetokounmpo’s run in Milwaukee ended with him having, by far, the most points in franchise history, more than 7,000 ahead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s total during his tenure with the Bucks.

Antetokounmpo is also Milwaukee’s all-time leader in rebounds and assists, plus he ranks second on the team’s career list in steals.

Tragedy struck in Queens, New York, as the life of a new mother, who had contributed significantly to the acclaimed series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” was abruptly ended in a suspected murder-suicide. The incident, which unfolded in her home, casts a shadow on a family history marked by violence.

In an official statement to News Media, the NYPD confirmed the death of 34-year-old Mary Golding. Responding to a call just after the stroke of midnight on Tuesday, officers found her with a fatal stab wound to the back, and she was declared dead at the scene.

Mary Golding’s professional achievements were noteworthy. As her IMDb profile highlights, she was a respected set decorator in the television industry, leaving her creative touch on several productions, including the celebrated “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

First Class Turmoil: American Airlines Passenger Faces Chaos Over Broken Seat Dilemma

Well aisle be damned.

A recent American Airlines flight from New York City became the scene of a heated dispute when a passenger was accused of taking another traveler’s first class seat. The confrontation reportedly arose after the woman’s seat allegedly failed to recline properly.

Justin Escalona shared his perspective on the incident in a viral Instagram video. He described how events unfolded aboard AA flight 171 en route to Los Angeles this past Monday.

Escalona, who is 27 years old, explained that he was enjoying a first-class upgrade on the five-and-a-half-hour journey when he was suddenly woken up by the commotion.

According to Escalona, the woman requested to swap seats, claiming hers was malfunctioning.

“I thought it was because she wanted a better view or something,” Escalona said in the video. “But no, it’s because her seat doesn’t recline.”

Escalona later clarified on Instagram that he would have been willing to swap seats with the woman for a sentimental reason or if she possibly wanted a better view, but when he found out “she didn’t like her chair”, he thought “no thank you!”

“She didn’t even say please or thank you! Just bolted over to my chair & wouldn’t get up,” he later wrote.

“Even if she was polite about it, maybe I would’ve said whatever, just take it I’m feeling nice. Sadly not the case.”

The unidentified woman allegedly told everyone that because Escalona didn’t pay for his seat, he had to move.

Escalona said he scored the upgrade to first class because of he’s an AAdvantage Executive Platinum member — the highest publicly available elite status tier within the airline, showing a screenshot of his boarding to back it up.

In the now-viral video, which has amassed almost five million views, the woman is seen clutching her forehead, refusing to get out of Escalona’s seat.

“She’s like, it’s somehow my fault? And she won’t get out of my seat. She’s just in it. Like what?”

The woman let out a sigh and said she is “going to UCLA,” to which Escalona joked, “I went to USC so that makes it even worse.”

“You gotta get out of my seat, this is crazy,” the dumbfounded traveler pleaded with the woman.

“You are holding up the entire flight,” he added.

The traveler told the 27-year-old that his seat was reassigned — which Escalona vehemently disputed.

“My boarding pass says 6A, yours says 3F,” he told the seat hog.

Eventually, the woman started to gather her belongings and snarked “you are such a…” before the video cut off.

Escalona was able to return to his seat and the passenger across the aisle quipped to him, “bro you almost got robbed!”
