First Class Turmoil: American Airlines Passenger Faces Chaos Over Broken Seat Dilemma

0

Well aisle be damned.

A recent American Airlines flight from New York City became the scene of a heated dispute when a passenger was accused of taking another traveler’s first class seat. The confrontation reportedly arose after the woman’s seat allegedly failed to recline properly.

Justin Escalona shared his perspective on the incident in a viral Instagram video. He described how events unfolded aboard AA flight 171 en route to Los Angeles this past Monday.

Escalona, who is 27 years old, explained that he was enjoying a first-class upgrade on the five-and-a-half-hour journey when he was suddenly woken up by the commotion.

According to Escalona, the woman requested to swap seats, claiming hers was malfunctioning.

“I thought it was because she wanted a better view or something,” Escalona said in the video. “But no, it’s because her seat doesn’t recline.”

Escalona later clarified on Instagram that he would have been willing to swap seats with the woman for a sentimental reason or if she possibly wanted a better view, but when he found out “she didn’t like her chair”, he thought “no thank you!”

“She didn’t even say please or thank you! Just bolted over to my chair & wouldn’t get up,” he later wrote.

“Even if she was polite about it, maybe I would’ve said whatever, just take it I’m feeling nice. Sadly not the case.”

The unidentified woman allegedly told everyone that because Escalona didn’t pay for his seat, he had to move.

Escalona said he scored the upgrade to first class because of he’s an AAdvantage Executive Platinum member — the highest publicly available elite status tier within the airline, showing a screenshot of his boarding to back it up.

In the now-viral video, which has amassed almost five million views, the woman is seen clutching her forehead, refusing to get out of Escalona’s seat.

“She’s like, it’s somehow my fault? And she won’t get out of my seat. She’s just in it. Like what?”

The woman let out a sigh and said she is “going to UCLA,” to which Escalona joked, “I went to USC so that makes it even worse.”

“You gotta get out of my seat, this is crazy,” the dumbfounded traveler pleaded with the woman.

“You are holding up the entire flight,” he added.

The traveler told the 27-year-old that his seat was reassigned — which Escalona vehemently disputed.

“My boarding pass says 6A, yours says 3F,” he told the seat hog.

Eventually, the woman started to gather her belongings and snarked “you are such a…” before the video cut off.

Escalona was able to return to his seat and the passenger across the aisle quipped to him, “bro you almost got robbed!”

The Post reached out to American Airlines for comment.

Disturbing Insights from School Shooter’s Police Interview

0

In a gripping police interview unveiled during his sentencing, a Georgia teenager opened up about the tragic high school shooting that claimed four lives. The court presentation of this emotional confession has added a poignant dimension to the case.

Colt Gray, a 16-year-old, could barely contain his emotions, gasping for breath and in tears as he recounted the harrowing events of September 4, 2024. The incident, which took place at Apalachee High School near Winder—some 45 miles east of Atlanta—resulted in the deaths of two students and two teachers.

“He didn’t even know, dude,” Gray confessed to the police, as reported by CNN. “He was looking the other way and I just shot him.”

Gray acknowledged the widespread impact of his actions, admitting he had “probably affected thousands of people,” and repeatedly lamented, “this is f***ing horrible.”

Gray, who was just 14 at the time of the attack, entered a guilty plea to charges of murder last Friday. Key excerpts from his recorded police interview were showcased at the sentencing, offering a glimpse into the mind of the young perpetrator.

At one point, Gray suggested that he had ‘no control over these impulses,’ according to the outlet.

Gray also told police that he had a moment in the bathroom where he thought ‘I probably shouldn’t do this’ before beginning the mass shooting.

‘The next thing I know I’m f***ing shooting in a classroom, dude,’ he said.

Gray told police that he was not attempting to use his ‘fogginess’ to ‘justify’ his actions.

‘I’m not trying to get remorse at all,’ he told law enforcement in the interview, according to CNN.

As Gray attempted to explain why he perpetrated the shooting, the teenager repeatedly sobbed.

‘I think my teachers are against me,’ Gray said. ‘I see them whispering to each other in the hallway and plotting against me.’

He added that he ‘wanted to do something to get them away from me.’

Gray also told police that he had heard voices in his head that were ‘egging him on’ prior to his crimes.

‘This is horrible,’ he said. ‘They’re telling me it’s okay and I did the right thing.’

Two teachers, 39-year-old Richard Aspinwall and Cristina Irimie, 53, and two students, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, died in the shooting.

Another teacher and eight more students were wounded, with seven of them being struck by gunfire.

One of the most remarkable moments in Friday’s hearing came when Gray smiled and laughed as a judge told a survivor to slow down while she was reading her victim impact statement.

In a separate portion of the interview that was played to the court, an investigator asked Gray what he thought should happen to him.

Gray responded: ‘Honestly, I think I should be put in a mental health unit.’

He added that he believed this should happen ‘for my safety and the safety of the people around me’ until he could get on ‘some sort of medication,’ CNN reported.

The teen told authorities that the shooting he had perpetrated was ‘beyond horrible.’

‘I have no words even for what I’ve done, and it’s absolutely horrible that the parents have to go through the s*** that I’ve caused unknowingly,’ Gray added.

Still, he did not appear to find a clear motivation for his actions, expressing ‘shock’ and ‘confusion’ in the interview.

In the interview, Gray also expressed that he had become ‘obsessed’ with Nikolas Cruz, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter in Parkland, Florida, who killed 17 people.

Gray said that this obsession happened ‘on an emotional level I could understand the trauma and stuff that he went through.’

He also admitted to having made an account on a jail messaging app to message Cruz about a week and a half before the shooting, but did not receive a response.

Investigators found a shrine dedicated to Cruz inside Gray’s bedroom.

Gray used a SIG Sauer M400 rifle to carry out the shooting. He told police that he had ‘just grabbed whatever was closest.’

Gray revealed that he had told his dad to hide his guns days before the shooting happened.

‘And he did but I don’t know how I found them,’ Gray told police.

The teen said that he had been ‘thinking about it for years,’ as he discussed his mental struggles.

‘It’s only gotten worse,’ Gray said. ‘I finally just now get to the point where I wanted to reach out and get help.’

He was referring to his father, Colin Gray, making a doctor’s appointment for him, adding, ‘We were so close.’

In March, the father was convicted by a jury of 29 counts, including second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.

His sentencing is set to begin on July 30 in Barrow County, according to AtlantaNewsFirst.

Meanwhile, Gray’s sentencing hearing will continue on Monday. Prosecutors will present further evidence, while the defense will call witnesses to testify.

Gray will also have a chance to speak as the judge determines whether he is sentenced to life with or without the possibility of parole.

Spain’s Wildfires Rage: Urgent Battle As Bordeaux’s Renowned Vineyards Face Extinction

0

In a historic move, Spain has issued its first-ever national emergency due to rampaging wildfires while France urgently appeals to the European Union for assistance in combating a massive inferno along its scenic Atlantic coast, prompting the evacuation of over 166,000 residents.

Close to Madrid in Spain and Bordeaux in France, fierce wildfires have been spreading rapidly. Bordeaux, known for its lush vineyards and as a coveted tourist destination, is now under threat.

As the flames near the outskirts of Bordeaux, French President Emmanuel Macron has called for military involvement to tackle what is being described as the nation’s most severe wildfire. Seeking aid from the European Union, Macron’s efforts underscore the urgent need for a coordinated effort to contain the disaster.

In a proactive response, French officials have mandated a complete evacuation of the affluent Cap Ferret peninsula. Known for its popularity during the summer months, the area now faces imminent danger as fires and smoke edge closer to residential zones. Around 44,000 individuals have vacated this picturesque peninsula south of Bordeaux, with the main access road endangered by the encroaching flames.

To facilitate a swift evacuation, a fleet of 27 boats carried hundreds to safety, while many others hastily evacuated by car. The region, famous for its opulent homes, has already seen more than 50 dwellings reduced to ashes.

French interior minister Laurent Nunez said France had never before seen this type of fire on this scale and pledged to “do everything” to protect Bordeaux.

A fire that began in Saumos, north ‌of Cap Ferret, is threatening ‌to cut off the only road out of the peninsula and is the largest so far this season in France, Nunez told local television.

In the town of Biscarrosse, another large fire also forced residents to leave their homes.

“From our home, we had a view of the fires … We could see the clouds becoming darker and darker,” said Yoan Urien, 26, who fled on Friday after police told everyone in his neighbourhood to leave.

“I was able to find somewhere to take shelter with my pets, but … it’s quite a shock.”

National emergency

In Spain, more than 10,000 people were evacuated from towns in the mountains west of the capital, Madrid, as firefighters sought to prevent three fires in the region and neighbouring Avila province from joining, interior minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska said.

The area, where many residents from the capital have second homes, is densely populated.

That played a role in the government decision to declare a national emergency, allowing it to better co-ordinate the response, Grande-Marlaska said, adding that the aggressive nature of the fires and hot, windy weather also prompted the move.

It was the first time such a measure has been taken due to a wildfire.

The last time Spain declared the same level of emergency alert was ‌during a massive nationwide power blackout in 2025.

Spain has also sought assistance from the EU, the Interior Ministry said.

In Navaluenga in Avila province, local residents wearing masks because of the smoke stood watching firefighting helicopters scoop up water from ‌the town’s river.

More than 270 emergency personnel and 40 ground units have been deployed in the affected areas, alongside several Military Emergency Unit contingents, Spanish officials said.

It is the second consecutive year that Spain has faced a particularly destructive fire season.

More than 29 major fires have broken out in Spain in 2026, damaging a surface area five times greater than at the same stage in 2025, when a record area was destroyed, environment minister Sara Aagesen said in a social ‌media post.

Justice Served: Nashville Restaurant Owner’s Killer Faces Deportation After Prison Sentence

0

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is pursuing the custody of a Mexican national accused of entering the United States illegally through Texas in 2021 amidst the Biden administration’s policies and subsequently killing a Nashville restaurant owner.

After Ulises Raigoza-Martinez pled guilty and received a lengthy prison sentence on Tuesday, ICE stepped in with an immigration detainer. They have asked Tennessee officials to inform them prior to his release, enabling federal authorities to assume custody for deportation proceedings, as stated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

This tragic incident unfolded on June 19, 2024, in the parking lot of the Nashville eatery Smokin’ Thighs. Investigators allege that Raigoza-Martinez was in the process of stealing tools from the truck belonging to owner Matt Carney.

Matt Carney, owner of Nashville restaurant Smokin' Thighs, who was killed after confronting an alleged thief in 2024.

Matt Carney, the owner of Smokin’ Thighs in Nashville, succumbed to his injuries on July 4, 2024. Authorities report he was hit by a vehicle while confronting a suspect accused of theft from his pickup truck. (DHS)

According to authorities, Carney, aged 42, approached the alleged perpetrator, prompting Raigoza-Martinez to flee the scene in his vehicle. During the escape, he struck Carney, who briefly landed on the vehicle’s hood before being cast onto the pavement when Raigoza-Martinez sharply turned the car.

Carney suffered critical injuries and died at a Nashville hospital on July 4, 2024.

Police arrested Raigoza-Martinez in South Nashville on July 18, 2024. Two years later, on July 22, 2026, he pleaded guilty to murder, theft over $10,000, tampering with evidence and theft over $2,500, before being sentenced to 20 years in prison.

DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said Raigoza-Martinez “should NEVER have been in our country to commit this heinous murder.”

“We will work with our state and local partners in Tennessee to ensure that he is handed over to ICE custody once his sentence is complete, so that we can remove him from our country,” Bis said.

If Tennessee officials honor the ICE detainer, federal immigration authorities will take custody of Raigoza-Martinez after he completes his prison sentence so he can be placed into removal proceedings and deported.

Ellen Pompeo’s Surprising Absence from Grey’s Anatomy Cast Photo Fuels Season 23 Speculation

Isaiah Washington in the Role of Preston Burke

In the dramatic third season, Preston Burke left Cristina at the altar, then vanished into the horizon. He later earned the prestigious Harper Avery award and eventually headed to Zurich, Switzerland, to establish a cutting-edge medical facility. There, Burke built a life, complete with marriage and family. By the show’s tenth season, he reached out to Cristina, offering her the reins of his hospital as he stepped into retirement.

Isaiah Washington exited the series after an on-set confrontation where he allegedly used a homophobic slur against co-star T.R. Knight during a disagreement with Patrick Dempsey. Attempts to defend his actions only exacerbated the situation, leading to his eventual departure. However, it seems fences were mended with ABC, as he made a brief return to the show in 2014.

Reflecting on the incident, Washington later offered a public apology. He acknowledged the need for personal introspection, stating, “I can also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I’ve asked for help.”

Post-Grey’s Anatomy, Washington took on the role of Thelonious Jaha in The CW’s series The 100, until his character’s demise in season five. He also appeared in the critically acclaimed Starz series P-Valley.

Kirsten Storms Exits ‘GH’ After 21 Years Due to Health Crisis

After an impressive 21 years on “General Hospital,” Kirsten Storms’ character has bid farewell to the beloved soap opera. Her departure comes in the wake of a recent “mental health crisis,” marking a significant change for both the show’s narrative and its loyal fans.

In a surprising plot twist, fans were stunned to learn that Maxie Jones, portrayed by Storms, will be moving to Australia. This unexpected storyline development follows her character’s dramatic recovery from a coma just months prior, as revealed in Thursday’s episode.

Despite the buzz surrounding this major exit, a representative for the long-running series has yet to address inquiries from Page Six.

Kirsten Storms, 42, has been a staple on the show as Maxie Jones since 2005. Her recent departure isn’t entirely unprecedented; she took a six-month break from July 2025 to February 2026 to focus on undergoing brain surgery, a decision she openly shared with her fans.

In the months before her current departure, Storms’ appearances on the show were already becoming sporadic, reflecting her gradual transition away from the series.

Despite just coming back to the show, Storms announced just last month that she would be taking another break from the series due to her legal issues with her ex-husband, Brandon Barash.

“Given what’s been going on, I can’t say I will feel comfortable heading back to Los Angeles and returning to work. This has been an eye opening experience about the downside of my profession.” she wrote at the time, via Instagram.

The move comes amid the actress’ ongoing family woes. In April, Barash was granted an emergency restraining order against Storms after he told a judge she is struggling with a “mental health crisis.”

Among several other claims, Barash — who met the “General Hospital” star on the set of the soap before they married in 2013 — claimed he worried for their 12-year-old daughter Harper’s health and safety as Storms had gone through a series of financial struggles since their 2016 divorce.

At one point, he alleged that Storms was sued for eviction by her landlord after the exes both relocated to Tennessee separately and that the celebrity mom didn’t have a permanent residence from September 2024 to June 2025.

As “instability with housing has been a recurring theme” for Storms, she frequently stayed in hotels, but would change rooms on a repeated basis over fears that people were “following her and the child to her room,” Barash claimed.

In addition to the housing trouble, her car was also at risk of being repossessed around this same time, which Barash allegedly loaned her $5,000 to address.

In May 2025, according to Barash, Storms was allegedly “experiencing delusions and hallucinations” and told Barash she “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time.”

She was ultimately hospitalized on a psychiatric hold and later released. At which point, she allegedly turned to abusing Adderall and potentially other substances, one of Storms’ friends claimed Barash.

At the time, Barash asked the court to force Storms to undergo a mental health evaluation.

The “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century” actress responded to Barash’s legal allegations against her with an update on their legal situation in a July 19 statement shared via Instagram.

“I will briefly acknowledge that there is an ongoing situation with Brandon that will be getting sorted out (soon hopefully),” she wrote. “I would appreciate (and encourage) for people on here not to worry about me, or think there is something larger going on, other than 2 ex-spouses dealing with a ‘disagreement,’ that WILL be resolved.”

Storms continued, “Please remember that we are people who are divorced and have a child. I appreciate the supportive comments, but now that my daughter is of the age where she will Google her name while riding the bus to school, I’m asking that the speculation on this issue please stop.”

MEMORISE: I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. – Psalm 16:8 (KJV)

READ: 1 Kings 17:8-16 (KJV)

8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,

9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 38-40

Open Heaven 25 July 2026 MESSAGE

One of the ways that believers can preserve and maintain their position as children of God is by putting Him first in everything. In Genesis 22:1-18, God tested Abraham to find out who was more important in his life: God’s gift to him (Isaac) or the Giver of the gift (God). He asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, and he passed the test. Abraham put God first and chose to obey Him. He knew that the God who quickened his dead body to bear a son could also raise his son from death (Hebrews 11:17-19). When he passed the test, the Almighty God made a promise to multiply him exceedingly, and today, Abraham’s seed can be found everywhere. When you put God first, He will single you out for mighty miracles.

In today’s Bible reading, a man of God met a widow and asked her for food. The widow responded that all she had was just enough for her and her son to make one last meal before they die. However, she eventually gave up the meal to feed the prophet, and for the rest of the famine, she and her son didn’t suffer hunger. In Luke 4:25-26, the Bible tells us that there were many widows in the land of Israel whom Elijah could have been sent to at that time. However, I believe that God singled her out for an unending supply because He knew that she would put Him first.

One way to put God first in your life is to give Him your firstfruits. I find it surprising when some people struggle to offer their firstfruits to God. In Proverbs 3:9-10, God says that when you honour Him with your firstfruits, your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. You cannot put God first in your finances and experience scarcity or lack. Just do as God has said and leave the rest to Him.

Another way to put God first is to make His priorities your priority. One of the most important things to God is the salvation of souls. In Luke 19:10, Jesus said that He came to seek and save the lost. Winning souls and making disciples are important to God; therefore, they should be important to you also. Beloved, tell others about Jesus today, and become actively involved in their spiritual growth. Go the extra mile to ensure that someone else follows Jesus, and the Almighty God will single you out for His marvelous miracles.

Open Heaven 25 July 2026 PRAYER POINT

Father, please help me to put You first in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heaven 25 July 2026 HYMN 21 – My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less

1 My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Chorus:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2 When darkness seems to veils His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3 His oath, His covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4 When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

Shocking New Insights into Santa Cruz Mall Stabbing: Grandmother Tragically Killed

0

A California grandmother, whose heart swelled with dreams of witnessing her infant grandson’s milestones, met a tragic end at the hands of a 19-year-old. Prosecutors assert that the young assailant harbored a long-standing obsession with taking a life, despite being out on bail when he allegedly committed this brutal act.

The horrific murder has sparked renewed outrage over the state’s management of repeat offenders. Meanwhile, the devastated family of esteemed artist and writer Rachell Summers is seeking community support to secure a bright future for her one and only grandchild—a future she will never witness.

“On Monday, our best friend’s mom, Rachell Summers, was tragically taken from us in a senseless outburst of violence,” the family conveys through their GoFundMe page.

“Her death has left an enormous void in the hearts of everyone who cherished her, especially her beloved grandson.”

At 73, Summers had joyously embraced the role of a grandmother for the first time just last year. Her grandchild, now nearing his first birthday, will reach this tender milestone without her presence—a heart-wrenching reality she will never experience.

“She dreamt of a bright future for her grandchild and hoped to see him pursue his education,” the fundraiser says.

Her loved ones are now trying to build the future she envisioned by creating a 529 college fund in his name.

“All funds raised through this campaign will go directly into a 529 college fund for Rachell’s grandchild,” the family wrote. “This support will help ensure that, despite the pain and uncertainty he faces, he will have the opportunity to follow his dreams and access the education Rachell so deeply valued.”

“Please join us in honoring Rachell’s memory and supporting her grandson’s future,” the fundraiser continues.

The campaign had set a goal of $7,000 and was more than half way to there as of Friday evening.

According to court documents, the man accused of killing Summers had every opportunity to be behind bars instead of roaming free.

Tyler Leibelt, 19, was already out on bail awaiting trial in another felony case and was living in a sober living environment when prosecutors say he decided Monday that he was going to kill a complete stranger.

Authorities allege Leibelt took an Uber to Cabrillo College, where he is an accounting student, and while sitting in the cafeteria felt a long-standing “desire to kill someone.”

Investigators say he later admitted it was a “done deal” that he was going to murder someone after turning off his cellphone because he did not want to be interrupted.

He then allegedly boarded a METRO bus to Capitola Mall, searching for a victim before walking into a Big 5 Sporting Goods store and purchasing two switchblade knives.

According to prosecutors, Leibelt told detectives he bought two knives because he wanted to hold one in each hand while killing someone.

Investigators said he later demonstrated stabbing motions with both hands during questioning.

Court records also state Leibelt had previously disclosed homicidal “fantasies” and complained that he “kept getting let out” of custody, revelations that are likely to intensify criticism from those who argue California’s criminal justice system is too quick to release dangerous offenders.

Before allegedly targeting Summers, Leibelt considered attacking an elderly Asian man but decided against it because there were too many passing cars and he believed the man might put up too much of a fight, prosecutors said.

He then allegedly walked in a semicircle around Summers with a concealed knife, allowed her to get ahead so she would not realize she was being followed, removed the weapon from its packaging and sprinted after the unsuspecting grandmother.

Summers was stabbed more than 11 times, suffering wounds to her back and chest along with defensive injuries to her forearms.

Prosecutors say Leibelt told detectives he heard the terrified 73-year-old cry out, “Help me.”

The killing has devastated the Santa Cruz arts community, where Summers spent seven years as gallery manager of Art of Santa Cruz.

Leibelt remains jailed without bail.

His arraignment was delayed until July 29 at the request of his attorneys.

His bandmates added, ‘At this time of intense grief, we must again acknowledge the great help and support offered by everyone who donated to Lou’s medical fund.

‘You all helped Lou feel very special and very loved as he battled away these last two years.’

Koller’s ‘battle is over now and he can finally rest. Hopefully he can somehow still see and feel the beautiful, positive mark he left on the world.’

Back in June 2024, the music artist revealed that doctors had found a tumor in his esophagus and was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma cancer.

Koller had shared a video to the group’s Instagram page at the time, explaining that doctors ‘found a tumor in my esophagus that goes into my stomach.

‘And I’ll have to be getting treatment all summer – and of course, with full support of the band.’

Rhapsody Of Realities 25 July 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Three Important Provisions For Life’s Journey

TOPIC: Three Important Provisions For Life’s Journey (Rhapsody of Realities 25 July 2026)

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen – 2 Corinthians 13:14

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Some have recited our opening verse countless times without realizing it’s from the Scriptures. To them, it’s merely a closing prayer at the end of a service. Yet, in that scripture, we’ve been blessed with three indispensable provisions for life’s journey. Any Christian, anywhere, regardless of city or nation, who walks by these three important keys will live victoriously in every circumstance, irrespective of the challenges they may face.

The first one is the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. What does this mean? The Bible says in John 1:17, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” This means you couldn’t really know God until Jesus came. The prophets of the Old Testament brought God’s message but they didn’t express the real character of our heavenly Father.

Study the Old Testament; you’d find the Law and the judgments that made the people fear God. But the Lord Jesus came and expressed the love of God. He said, “…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father…” (John 14:9). To know God, you must know Jesus. He is the One who expressed God’s character: His person and His reality. Grace and truth (reality) came by Jesus Christ.

The second thing is the love of God. God wants us to walk in the light of His love. Understand that all love is not the same. This isn’t about a mother’s love or a friend’s love. It’s a different kind of love, love that knows no bounds. Love that’s beyond this world. Love that’s liquid and flows eternally.

The third one, the communion of the Holy Spirit, is so important because the Father and the Lord Jesus are in heaven, but the Holy Spirit is here with us. He’s in you and will always be. That fellowship is your greatest blessing and advantage in life.

God’s desire is that you walk in the light of these three amazing blessings; they are to be your daily realities. When you understand them and walk in their light, it won’t matter where you are, where you’re placed, or what comes against you, you’ll always rise above and remain victorious. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I walk daily in the fullness of your blessings, guided by your grace, rooted in your love, and sustained by unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit. My life is victorious, excellent and ever triumphant, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
