MEMORISE: I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. – Psalm 9:2 (KJV)

READ: Psalm 149:1-9 (KJV)

1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 32-34

Open Heaven 23 July 2026 MESSAGE

When someone who is under the burden of the yoke of satan cries out to God genuinely for help, God steps in and delivers such a fellow. However, after receiving the deliverance, there are certain things the person must do and continue to do so that the ‘taskmaster’ (the devil) will not lay a heavier burden on him or her. For example, God heard the cry of the Israelites when the Egyptians enslaved them, and He came to their rescue (Exodus 3:7-9), but there were steps they had to take to ensure that they were not re-enslaved by their Egyptian taskmasters.

Matthew 12:43-45 tells us that if a person becomes free from a burden of demonic possession and remains empty, the burden will return in a worse form because the evil spirit that left the person will return with seven other spirits that are more wicked than itself, so that the latter end of the person will be worse than the first. I pray that in any area the enemy wants your latter end to be worse than your beginning, the Almighty God will frustrate his plans, in Jesus’ name.

When a fellow has been freed from a burden, the first thing that he or she must do to keep the enemy away and ensure that the burden that has been lifted does not return is to praise God continually. Acts 3:1-8 tells the story of a lame man who lay by the Beautiful Gate of the temple. When God visited him and took away his burden of stagnation, poverty, and shame, he began to walk, leap, and praise God without caring about anyone who was watching him. This man was born lame, and before his healing, he was already above 40 years old (Acts 4:22). This means that he was being carried from one point to another for over 40 years and must have been unable to enter the temple unaided. He might have been praying silently, “God, I wish I had legs so I could enter the temple and dance and praise You as You deserve.” This must have been why he leapt and praised God with so much joy when he received his deliverance.

Beloved, has God been good to you? Has He taken away your burdens? Praise Him abundantly, everywhere, and at all times. As we see in today’s Bible reading, fill your mouth with high praises to God. Dance and use musical instruments to praise Him, for He alone is worthy of your praise.

Open Heaven 23 July 2026 KEY POINT

Praise is a powerful weapon for sustaining your victory and freedom.

Open Heaven 23 July 2026 HYMN 18 – Praise To The Lord The Almighty, The King Of Creation

1 Praise to the Lord,
the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health
and salvation:
Join the great throng
psaltery, organ and song
sounding in glad adoration.

2 Praise to the Lord,
over all things he gloriously reigneth:
Borne as on eagle-wings, safely his saints,
He sustaineth
Has thou not seen
How all thou needest hath been
Granted in what he ordaineth?

3 Praise to the Lord,
Who doth prosper thy way and defend thee;
Surely his goodness and mercy shall ever
attend thee; ponder anew,
What the almighty can do
Who with his love doth befriend thee.

4 Praise to the Lord!
O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has breath join with Abraham’s
Seed to adore him! Let the Amen,
Sum all our praises again;
Now as we worship before him.

DCLM Daily Manna 23 July 2026 — Costly Consecration

DCLM Daily Manna 23 July 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Costly Consecration

TOPIC: Costly Consecration (DCLM Daily Manna 23 July 2026)

KEY VERSE: And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of – Genesis 22:2

TEXT: Genesis 22:1-11 (KJV)

1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

Frederick Brotherton Meyer, a Baptist pastor and evangelist in England, contemporary and friend of D. L. Moody, observed that “Consecration is only possible when we give up our will about EVERYTHING.” This may explain why most professing Christians shy away from true consecration. For some others, consecration should be moderated in such a manner as not to exceed the boundary set by “common sense”.

Abraham, as seen in today’s text, demonstrated a high level of consecration. To a normal person, God’s command to him to offer his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to Him was an invitation to eternal sorrow. But Abraham’s love for and devotion to God were more than skin deep. It was such a commitment that was not hinged on any material benefit. The Lord’s demand was explicit: “Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest… and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of…” Isaac was an only son whose name meant laughter, a child of promise and therefore very beloved to his parents. Yet Abraham was willing to sacrifice him to God.

By that act, Abraham’s obedience and faith were only being put to the test. He was willing to part with his highest love and hope on earth… to even go on a three-day journey to obey God’s extraordinary command. He was moved neither by Isaac’s affecting remark nor the thought of how others would react to him. Satisfied that Abraham’s devotion to Him was no half measure, God intervened and prevented him from sacrificing Isaac. A lamb was divinely provided in his stead, a pointer to the Lord Jesus Christ, the “Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world”.

As you reflect on all these, consider how you will fare in God’s test of obedience and faith. If the Lord today requires your Isaac – whatever constitutes your greatest joy on earth – will you be willing to part with it for God’s sake? How much do you love God? Do social and material pursuits stand between you and God? Are you willing to place your prestige on the altar for the Lord? The test is ongoing. Will you pass it?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Our commitment to the Lord is determined by how far we are willing to go with Him.

Hero Cop Dies Saving Fiancée Hours After Proposal in Arkansas

0

Tragedy struck in Arkansas as a police officer drowned while heroically attempting to rescue his fiancée just hours after he had proposed to her, as recounted by her mother.

Fred Marsh, a 24-year-old officer with the Rogers Police Department, entered the fast-moving currents of Missouri’s Elk River on Saturday in a bid to help a swimmer in distress. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Marsh’s attempt to save another swimmer, who his fiancée’s mother identified as her daughter, ended tragically. The officer was pulled from the river and declared deceased on Sunday, following a joyous proposal to his fiancée, Hailey, that same Saturday morning.

“Their three-year relationship was filled with love and beauty,” Sheryl Padgett, Hailey’s mother, shared with KHBS. “Even though we never officially had him as a son-in-law, to us, Fred will always be part of the family.”

The couple, who shared three rich years together, were enjoying a canoe trip with another couple near Noel, Missouri, when Hailey became caught in the river’s strong current as she tried to return to their boat, prompting Fred’s heroic but tragic act.

Marsh and a fellow Rogers police officer who was with them then jumped into the water to help her, Padgett said. They were able to move her to safety, but Marsh became distressed and exhausted, went underwater and never resurfaced, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

“He saw the love of his life in distress, and he was going to help his friend and do what a good human would do,” Padgett said. “He gave his life helping someone else.”

Padgett said Marsh was loving, hardworking and guided by his Christian faith, emphasizing that he never hesitated when someone needed help.

“There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone,” Padgett said. “You didn’t have to tell him. You didn’t have to beg him. He just was willing and would jump in there and do whatever it took to help someone.”

Padgett said she had lost her only son in a fatal accident four years earlier. She began calling Marsh her son soon after he started dating her daughter.

“We instantly made a connection and a bond,” she said. “I called him son, and he called me mama.”

A motorcade escorted Marsh’s body through Northwest Arkansas on Monday as people lined up along the route to honor him. Padgett said the response from law enforcement and the community showed the impact Marsh had made on many others.

“They made it very clear that Fred was not just their family, but so was my daughter, my family and, even more importantly, Fred’s family,” Padgett said.

Marsh was in his first year with the Rogers Police Department. He graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in April and only recently started working as an officer.

A GoFundMe created for Hailey by her sister to cover her lease, bills and other unforeseen expenses has raised nearly $2,000 as of Thursday morning.

“Fred was an upstanding young man- Son, Fiancée, Officer, Brother, Friend, and more to all. We are devastated and will miss him dearly,” the fundraiser reads.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Marsh’s family, and Padgett said the family expects officers, former classmates, childhood friends and others from across the state to attend.

“Let’s do something in Fred’s honor,” Padgett said. “Be kind to your fellow man. When Fred loved, he loved with everything he had, and he loved well.”

Shockwaves in Connecticut: Police Bodycam Captures Robert Jenkins III’s Alleged Baseball Bat Attack on Father

0

A terrifying incident unfolded in Connecticut when a son unleashed a brutal daylight assault on his father in front of their home, wielding a baseball bat with deadly intent. This chilling episode, captured on police bodycam footage, ended when officers intervened, ultimately resulting in the son’s death.

The tragic event involved Robert Jenkins III, aged 38, who was caught in a vicious act, repeatedly hitting his 69-year-old father, Robert Jenkins Jr., on their Meriden lawn. This shocking scene unfolded on a Sunday morning, as outlined by details in the Connecticut Insider.

Anthony Offiaeli, the first officer on the scene, confronted Jenkins with a stern warning to drop the bat. Despite being commanded to “put the f–king bat down,” Jenkins ignored the directive, prompting Officer Offiaeli to fire his weapon, according to the police bodycam recording.

Connecticut Inspector General Eliot Prescott provided further insights in a preliminary report, detailing how Jenkins III was continuously battering a motionless figure lying on the lawn. Prescott described Jenkins’ persistent assault, which culminated in his refusal to heed multiple orders to stand down.

Officer Offiaeli’s instructions were clear as he told Jenkins to abandon the weapon four times. However, Jenkins continued his relentless attack, refusing to comply and focusing his strikes on the victim’s head, despite the officer’s repeated commands.

“Officer Offiaeli then discharged his service firearm numerous times at Jenkins III. Several rounds struck Jenkins III, who then dropped the bat and fell to the ground.”

Offiaeli fired at least 18 rounds at Jenkins III.

Jenkins III died at 11:30 p.m. that night as a result of “multiple gunshot wounds of the torso” and his death was ruled a homicide.

Meanwhile, his father died as a result of “blunt force head injuries” and the manner of his death was also ruled a homicide.

It’s not clear if Offiaeli has been put on administrative leave. In Connecticut, it’s common for cops involved in fatal shootings to be put on leave pending the investigation.

Neighbors were left stunned over the attack in the residential town, situated between New Haven and Hartford.

“I don’t know every minute of every day, but when they were in public they were respectful; they were very social,” neighbor Raymond Prue told WTNH.

Footage from a car dashboard camera shows a police officer standing in a yard, with a blurred image of another person on the grass.

Responding cops opened fire at Jenkins III after he refused to drop the bat. Meriden police

Kirsten Anderson, who also lives in the neighborhood, claimed Jenkins III previously had violent outbursts.

“He needed help,” she told WFSB.

“He had to have cracked to continue beating when the police were telling him to stop. That’s why police had to shoot.”

Rhapsody Of Realities 23 July 2026: Divine Destiny

Rhapsody Of Realities 23 July 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Divine Destiny

TOPIC: Divine Destiny (Rhapsody of Realities 23 July 2026)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end – Jeremiah 29:11

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Did you know God never created anything without a purpose? For every human being, there’s an earthly destiny and a divine destiny. An earthly destiny is just what it is—earthly. It’s influenced by such factors as who your parents are, where you were born and raised, your friends, relatives, and everywhere you invest time. All these would have an impact on you.

The books you read, the films you watch, and all the information you digest, they shape your natural destiny. But there’s another destiny, the divine destiny, and it supersedes any earthly destiny. With that divine destiny, it doesn’t matter what these other factors are, they’ll not determine what you become. They lose their power to define you. God introduces a higher life that overrides background, limitations, and human circumstances.

For this divine destiny to become your real life experience, God tells you what to do. He gives you instructions and guidance so that the earthly destiny will not rule your life or determine the circumstances of your existence. The Word of God is the instrument by which you’re aligned with that higher purpose.

The Bible reveals that God’s plan is always good and for your good. His plan for you is great. He is great Himself, and He can only raise great men and women. That’s the way it works with Him. He cannot reproduce a failure. He can only reproduce a success. He can only reproduce royalty. So, when you follow His Word and walk in His guidance, the divine destiny becomes your reality, and the earthly influences lose their hold.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your divine purpose for my life which is higher than every earthly influence. I walk in the light of your Word, guided by your Spirit, fulfilling the destiny you ordained for me. I refuse to be limited by earthly background or circumstances, for I am the product of your greatness and the expression of your will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Gulf Coast Faces Devastating Floods as Tropical Storm Bertha Strikes

0

The Gulf Coast faced the brunt of a fierce tropical storm on Wednesday, leaving residents in dire situations as flooding overwhelmed homes and businesses throughout the southern region.

In the afternoon, Tropical Storm Bertha struck St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, located approximately 40 miles east of New Orleans. The storm unleashed maximum sustained winds reaching 45 mph.

Gusts from the storm extended up to 160 miles from its center, causing chaos such as a Waffle House sign toppling over onto a vehicle in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Forecasts predict that Bertha will maintain its tropical storm status as it approaches the upper Texas coast on Thursday. Consequently, late Wednesday night, the National Hurricane Center expanded Tropical Storm Warnings from Cameron, Louisiana, to Sargent, Texas.

Meanwhile, a Tropical Storm Warning continues for the Alabama-Mississippi border and the Greater New Orleans area. Many parks and piers along the coast remain shut amid the widespread flooding.

Flood watches also remained in effect Wednesday night from eastern Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina.

In West Virginia, Governor Patrick Morrisey sent hundreds of National Guard members to the hardest-hit areas in the northern part of the state after declaring a state of emergency for all 55 counties.

The state Division of Natural Resources has already been involved in 85 rescues, and 19 National Guard and state police helicopters were either out on rescue missions or standing by if needed, Morrisey said at a news conference Wednesday night.

Three shelters that were opened Wednesday housed a total of more than 100 residents, he added.

When he was then asked whether anyone was unaccounted for, Morrisey replied: ‘We don’t have an exact number but we are concerned about fatalities,’ adding that ‘as soon as we have more information’ officials will provide details.

‘This is a time for West Virginians to come together to do everything possible, not only to pray for all those who are affected, but we´re going to need a lot of help in the days and weeks ahead,’ he said. ‘Let’s help these communities rebuild.’

Forecasters said up to seven inches of rain fell in West Virginia, with Morrisey claiming some parts of the state received 4.5 inches in just 37 minutes.

‘There´s no place for the water to go,’ he said.

Video and photos on social media showed submerged vehicles in parking lots, including at a Walmart in Weston where muddy water surged far into the store. Across a nearby highway, a hotel’s main floor was inundated.

Emergency crews reported dozens of rescues of people stuck in submerged vehicles. However, some rescuers were unable to get to locations where floodwaters had cut off access.

But West Virginia was not the only state that was inundated with flooding as the closure of portions of Interstate 79, US Route 48 and numerous secondary roads.

In Alabama, vehicles were seen becoming trapped in the sand on the west end of Dauphin Island overnight as waves crashed onto the shore and water levels rose quickly, according to Fox 10.

Some bystanders were then seen grabbing a shovel and digging around the wheels of an SUV in a desperate attempt to free it from the water.

In Tennessee, Lisa Rocca told News Channel 5 her home’s foundation was slowly eroding from the flood water.

And at Ailor Gap Farms in Maynardville, Tennessee, owner Dan Woodcock said the remainder of this year’s harvest was wiped out from the flash flooding.

He told 10 News how the creek behind his property rose quickly during the storm surge, damaging about $8,000 to $10,000 in crops.

In the more than 30 years he lived in the area, Woodcock said he had only seen the water level get that high once before.

He also described Wednesday’s flooding as a once-in-100 year event, with the water rising four feet and taking out all of the crops in his garden.

‘This event carried fallen trees from upstream that had just been accumulating,’ he explained. ‘The trees and the debris or whatever wreaked havoc on everything, just destroyed it.’

Even though Woodcock said he built the farm to withstand flooding he ‘forgot about the debris.’

‘I should have known better,’ he admitted. ‘I mean, I was raised on the Gulf Coast and hurricanes. I should have known debris is what destroys everything more than water.’

Woodcock now plans on growing another crop to reduce the huge loss he is facing. But by the end of the season, the family farm may still be $3,000 to $5,000 in debt.

Despite the setback, though, Woodcock said he is not looking for donations.

‘It’s a big number and I’m on disability, so I have a very limited income. That’s two to three months’ worth of disability checks. So it’s quite an impact,’ he admitted.

‘But we don’t need too much here; everything we have is paid for, so we’re OK. We’re going to be fine.’

Instead of donations, Woodcock said he is welcoming anyone who wishes to help with the cleanup efforts – and is encouraging people to support him by doing business with him and other local farmers.

The heavy rains on Wednesday were part of wide-ranging storms – which also produced reports of tornadoes – stretching from the Cincinnati area across New Jersey to the New York City suburbs.

Damage from a possible tornado was reported in the area of St. Marys and Belmont in West Virginia.

Meanwhile, in the eastern Pacific Ocean, Hurricane Fausto churned hundreds of miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph.

It was forecast to gradually strengthen – with its swells spreading along the Baja California coast where it is likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip tides.

Tom Brady’s Surprising Political Ambitions: Could the NFL Legend Run for President?

0

Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback, is reportedly eyeing a move into WWE, a decision that NFL insider Mike Florio suggests might be a strategic step towards a future in politics.

At 48, Brady has found himself at odds with Logan Paul over recent months. Their rivalry, heated during the World Cup final, shed light on behind-the-scenes discussions about Brady possibly making his debut with WWE. Brady, renowned for his seven Super Bowl wins, is exploring new arenas.

Despite discussions about his WWE venture, the choice was mocked publicly, with some speculating that Brady might be navigating a mid-life crisis in front of the world, according to Florio.

NBC’s Mike Florio reflected on the matter during a recent segment, sharing an intriguing idea presented to him by a reader, one that could hold more truth than he initially considered.

Florio speculated, “There are two perspectives here. It could either be an unusual mid-life crisis or perhaps, a manifestation of Brady’s relentless ambition, a thirst to constantly challenge himself.”

‘There’s also a chance it is part of a broader plan. Is Tom Brady trying to cosy up to the wrestling base when it comes to for running for office? I did research this morning and the idea of Tom Brady running for president is not some new thing.’

Florio then, correctly, discussed reports that Brady’s controversial former business partner Sam Bankman-Fried encouraged him to not only consider a political career, but also to consider standing against Donald Trump before he won the Republican nomination to run for a second term in office.

A report from Puck in February 2024 claims Bankman-Fried told multiple people around him that he wanted Brady to run for the G.O.P nomination and as far back as 2022 was sounding out if the quarterback could be convinced.

Bankman-Fried is currently in jail. In March 2024, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison for a massive fraud on hundreds of thousands of customers that unraveled with the collapse of FTX, once one of the world’s most popular platforms for exchanging digital currency.

Brady was one of several celebrities who endorsed FTX and was an ambassador.

Florio continued: ‘There is an article written after the Bucs won the Super Bowl explaining that Brady would be an idea presidential candidate at the appropriate time.

‘Sam Bankman-Fried was reportesly urging Brady to run in 2024. Sam Bankman-Fried, who was at one point a business partner of Tom Brady’s and is now behind bars serving a sentence for the various things that happened when FTX collapsed.

‘I don’t know how that hasn’t stuck to Brady in the way that it should but that’s a different issue. He did lose the value of the shares that he got when he became a sponsor of FTX.

‘But Sam Bankman-Fried was urging Brady to run in 2024. He thought that Brady would be a superior candidate to the person who eventually got the Republican nomination and won his second term in the White House (Donald Trump).

‘So, hey, we know how the world is now. You don’t have to be a career politician. You don’t have to have any experience running anything. Brady at least has experience in business, experience in sports, life experiences, name recognition.’

And Florio seems to think that a political run would be better for Brady’s reputation than picking fights with Logan Paul.

‘Maybe that’s the play,’ Florio said. ‘And the good news would be if he ever would run for president and win, maybe at that point Tom Brady would focus on one job and one job only.’

Brady works primarily as an NFL analyst for FOX on a 10-year deal worth $375million. He is also a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kristen Doute Condemns Jax Taylor’s Shocking Romance with Brittany’s Publicist

The Valley star Kristen Doute is making headlines with her candid thoughts on Jax Taylor’s budding relationship with publicist Lori Krebs, who also happens to be the former representative of his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.

While appearing on the July 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kristen, 43, didn’t hold back her feelings, dismissing Jax’s actions as expected and calling him “diabolical.” “To me, this is not about Jax. Jax is so diabolical … like, of course,” she declared.

For Kristen, the real issue lies with Brittany’s connection to Lori. Expressing her dismay, she revealed, “But with [Brittany] … this is Brittany’s trusted paid professional, a friend, basically part of her family for the past decade. It’s so totally deceitful. It’s her publicist. The one person who knows the ins and outs of everything.”

Kristen also expressed frustration over the backlash Brittany has received online, adding, “I’m tired of seeing everyone on social media come for Brittany and say, ‘You should have known.’ It’s like this woman’s sleeping with the enemy.”

Meanwhile, Brittany Cartwright herself has spoken only briefly about the situation. During the July 17 episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast with Zack Wickham, the 37-year-old hinted at addressing her true feelings when she’s ready. “All I’m going to say about this […]” she remarked, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more.

Kristen’s The Valley costar Zack Wickham, who was in the audience for Wednesday’s WWHL episode, also gave his reaction to Jax’s new romance and didn’t hold back.

“I was actually this person’s biggest defender when rumors had come out before, because she’s been friends with our group for 10-plus years,” Zack, 38, said of previous speculation about Jax and Lori’s close relationship in 2024.

“I was actually very shocked. You know, she made her bed, and now she can lie in its disgusting sheets,” he added.

Vanderpump Rules alum Jax, 47, and Lori were spotted getting cozy at the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico, earlier this month, per photos obtained by Us Weekly.

When Brittany revealed in February that she was “taking time apart” from Jax and had moved out of their family home, their former costars had thoughts. Ariana Madix declared she was “Team […]

An eyewitness told Us that the pair were seen hugging and showing PDA in the resort’s pool. They reportedly described themselves as “both happily divorced.”

Brittany, who filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024 after five years of marriage, has since addressed Jax’s new romance with the publicist they once shared.

“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” Brittany said on the July 17 episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. And as of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace and very soon I will be telling [my story].” (Jax and Brittany share son Cruz, 5.)

An insider previously told Us that Brittany cut ties with her now-former publicist after the photos of Jax and Lori emerged.

“It’s very upsetting to her and she is sick to her stomach over it,” the insider said. “She is shocked that photos surfaced and that they are out in public. Lori was with Brittany through dark days.”

Houthi Claims of Attacking Saudi Oil Tankers Amid Continuous US Airstrikes in the Red Sea

In a dramatic turn of events, Yemen’s Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, declared on Thursday their responsibility for striking two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. Simultaneously, U.S. forces marked their 12th consecutive night of attacks on Iran, as both nations intensify their struggle for dominance over critical maritime routes.

This assault by the Houthis threatens to escalate into a broader conflict, igniting fears of further turmoil in a war that has already sent shockwaves through the global economy. Prices for fuel and various goods have reached dizzying heights worldwide. As tensions at the Gulf escalate, hopes for diplomatic resolutions remain distant.

The U.S. Central Command clarified that its ongoing airstrikes are aimed at significantly diminishing Iran’s capacity to endanger civilian mariners and commercial vessels navigating regional seas. This offensive is part of U.S. efforts to reclaim control over the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz and to stabilize international maritime trade.

Earlier on Wednesday, President Donald Trump issued a stark warning: should Iran target a ship in the strait, the U.S. would respond by demolishing a bridge or power plant. This rhetoric underscores an escalating trend of both sides targeting civilian infrastructure.

International legal standards generally prohibit such attacks unless there’s evidence that the infrastructure is being utilized for military objectives.

“From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT,” Trump wrote on social media.

Iran-backed Houthis say they attacked oil tankers

The Houthis said they had struck two tankers named Encelia and Layla in the Red Sea, leading to fires on both vessels. That would be their first reported attack on a vessel since they announced a blockade of Saudi-linked shipping through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait earlier this week in retaliation for the kingdom’s blockade on Yemen and a recent attack on the international airport in Yemen’s rebel-held capital, Sanaa.

Bab el-Mandeb, at the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, is a vital shipping chokepoint connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. Around 12% of the world’s trade, including a fourth of global container traffic, passes through the narrows, moving between Europe and Asia via Egypt’s Suez Canal.

Saudi state media reported that the Encelia was set ablaze by an attack while sailing overnight in the Red Sea, citing an unidentified source from the General Authority of Transport. The Saudi Press Agency reported that a strike caused a fire at the bow of the ship, but no casualties. It did not mention the Layla.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Center, UKMTO, said it had received a report of a tanker being struck by “an unknown projectile” 70 nautical miles (80 miles, 130 kilometers) southwest of Al Shuqaiq, Saudi Arabia, in the Red Sea. It said no casualties had been reported.

Both sides dig in over Strait of Hormuz dispute

The continued American airstrikes are occurring as both sides have dug in on their dispute over the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial waterway for global energy that remains largely closed. The closure of the strait, through which a fifth of the world’s traded oil and gas passed during peacetime, has jolted the world economy with effects far beyond the Middle East.

Iran says it has the right to manage traffic and potentially charge fees in the strait, which was open to all and toll-free before the war. It has attacked ships using a route through the strait that is overseen by U.S. forces and intended to be outside Tehran’s control.

In response to Iran’s attacks, the U.S. re-imposed a blockade on Iranian ports and began the widening campaign of strikes across the country. On Tuesday, Trump signaled that U.S. forces could soon target an under-construction Iranian nuclear site buried deep under a mountain.

Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, who has led negotiations with the U.S., appeared to brush off Trump’s threats.

“We have repeatedly said that the situation of the strait will not return to prewar conditions,” he wrote on social media.

The costs of war are mounting

Trump traveled to Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday for the arrival of the remains of four U.S. service members. A day earlier Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth estimated in a fiery Senate hearing that the U.S. had spent $37.5 billion on the war so far.

In Iran, state media reported that U.S. missiles struck locations overnight near the cities of Ahvaz, Ramshir and Andimeshk in western Iran, and two people were killed in a U.S. missile strike in the town of Shalamcheh on the Iraqi border.

Iran has responded to U.S. attacks by targeting energy infrastructure and desalination plants that provide drinking water in parched neighboring Gulf countries.

Military officials in Kuwait said on social media that their air defenses were “confronting attacks by hostile drones, following the sinful Iranian aggression.”

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Tehran would adopt an “eye for an eye” defense doctrine.

“Any aggression against Iran, including our infrastructure, will compel a powerful and decisive response,” he posted Wednesday on X.

Diplomatic efforts show no signs of progress

Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni held meetings in recent days in Pakistan, a key mediator in the conflict, seeking to revive diplomacy. But it was unclear what new arrangement might be reached to end the war, which lately has become a battle for control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s Interior Ministry spokesperson Ali Zeinivand said “diplomacy isn’t called off” and that messages were still being exchanged, without elaborating, according to IRNA.

An Arab diplomat said Gulf states are increasingly pessimistic about finding an off-ramp for escalating hostilities and are particularly concerned about the latest round of threats.

The diplomat said countries in the region, in addition to Pakistan and Turkey, are continuing to push for de-escalation but that chances for improvement currently appear bleak. The diplomat spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation.

At a regional summit in the Philippines, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. remains open to negotiations with Iran, “but right now they don’t seem to be serious about that” so instead the focus is on protecting shipping.
