Bizarre Mime Stalker Incident: Suspect Strips, Covers Self in Oil, Shock Officials

0

Not every mime remains mute. One such performer now faces accusations of terrorizing women.

A man from Massachusetts, identifiable by his signature black-and-white mime attire, has allegedly been unsettling women over several months at a well-frequented state park. Prosecutors claim he would strip to his underwear, cover himself in cooking oil, and exercise near female staff members. This disturbing behavior culminated in an incident where he collapsed in court as these charges were publicly presented.

Hernan Villagran Lux, a 29-year-old resident of Framingham, has been charged with criminal harassment. His actions reportedly disturbed three female employees of the state Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), with one woman experiencing over 50 unsettling sightings of Lux during the past two months at a state park in Natick, near Boston.

Authorities report that all three women recognized Lux by both name and appearance, recounting incidents that intensified over time. These interactions allegedly became so distressing that the women started fearing for their safety while at work.

The allegations have also sparked warnings on social media, where people across several Massachusetts communities said they recognized the suspect and claimed he had approached or followed women on the nearby rail trail.

Authorities arrested Lux Sunday night on the Cochituate Rail Trail, after multiple women and park workers alleged he repeatedly approached them, stared at them and refused to leave despite repeated requests, according to Boston 25 News.

“The women report an extensive number of contacts with the defendant involving him staring at them, smiling in what they describe as ‘a really unnerving and frankly terrifying manner,'” Framingham District Court Supervisor Andrew Mange said during Monday’s court hearing.

Mange said the encounters became increasingly bold. In one incident, prosecutors allege Lux “stripped down to his underwear, slathered cooking oil all over his body and began working out right by their staff area.”

The women also reported that Lux repeatedly refused to leave the park after being asked to do so, according to the station.

Prosecutors also alleged Lux complimented one employee’s appearance, commented on her lips and refused to leave as she and coworkers abandoned their work area because they felt unsafe.

Boston 25 reported that numerous people posted on social media saying they had spotted a man matching Lux’s distinctive mime-like appearance throughout Framingham, Natick and Wayland.

Several women also claimed a man fitting the same description approached and followed them on the Cochituate Rail Trail.

“I spotted him, he looked kind of odd, but I thought he was just dressed in a costume,” neighbor Nancy Dlott told Boston 25. “It’s kind of upsetting, especially if you’re walking alone,” she added.

“I just don’t understand what goes through someone’s head to do that,” Christopher Labella told the station. “I hope this guy gets the help that he needs.”

As prosecutors continued reading the allegations in court Monday, Lux fainted and was treated on scene before proceedings resumed, according to Boston 25.

When court resumed later in the afternoon, the judge ordered Lux to undergo a mental health evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.

Jim Lindsey, the former NCAA standout and NFL running back who etched his name in football history, passed away on Sunday at the age of 81.

The sports website Whole Hog Sports confirmed that Lindsey endured a prolonged illness before his death.

During his tenure at Arkansas from 1963 to 1965, Lindsey was instrumental in guiding the Razorbacks to a national championship win in 1964.

The Arkansas Football team took to the platform X to express their grief, stating, “We are saddened by the loss of Arkansas legend Jim Lindsey. He made Arkansas a better place in many ways. His friends and family are in our thoughts.”

Lindsey’s remarkable college career earned him a Second Team All-Southwest Conference honor, leading to his selection in the second round of both the 1966 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and the 1966 AFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.

He ultimately went to Minnesota, where he’d spend his entire eight-year professional career and won an NFL championship in 1969.

Lindsey was named special teams captain in 1968, a role he held until he retired.

In 84 games with the Vikings, Lindsey rushed 178 times for 566 yards and six touchdowns. He caught 56 passes for 632 yards and four touchdowns. He also fielded 11 kickoffs for 200 yards.

After he retired from football, Lindsey turned to real estate and philanthropy. Lindsey’s company expanded to own thousands of apartments and over three dozen golf courses across several states.

He was inducted to the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame in 2010.

Lindsey ran for governor of Arkansas in 1976 but lost in the primary to incumbent David Pryor.

Lindsey earned a place in the Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor in 1987, and teamed up with ex-Razorback teammate and current Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on the Jerry Jones/Jim Lindsey Hall of Champions in Arkansas’ Broyles Athletic Complex.

Ex-US Attorney Challenges Trump’s Authority to Fire Judges

In a move stirring controversy, President Donald Trump delivered remarks in the James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House following a sudden alert at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington on Saturday, April 25, 2026. In Washington state, a federal prosecutor, who briefly held the position of U.S. attorney before being swiftly dismissed by President Donald Trump, has taken legal action to contest his termination.

Just last week, a panel of district court judges reached a unanimous decision to appoint Roger Rogoff as the head of the Western District of Washington. A seasoned Seattle prosecutor, Rogoff was selected to cover a role left unfilled by both the 45th and 47th president. Yet, in under an hour, Trump thwarted the judges’ determination with an email delivering Rogoff’s dismissal.

Now, a detailed 24-page complaint argues the president’s sudden removal of the prosecutor was “unlawful,” according to the legal representatives backing Rogoff.

The lawsuit also suggests that Trump’s interference threatens to perpetuate instability in the Western District, preventing Rogoff from assuming the role to which he was properly appointed.

“U.S. Attorneys have a statutory duty to prosecute all federal offenses within the district and to prosecute and defend, for the federal government, all civil actions in which the United States is concerned,” the lawsuit goes on. “By preventing Mr. Rogoff from fulfilling the duties lawfully entrusted to him, Defendants’ actions are causing immediate and severe harm to Mr. Rogoff and the public interest.”

The plaintiff is seeking an injunction returning prosecutorial powers and duties to him and barring the Trump administration from impeding him “from accessing any of the benefits or resources of his position.”

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 18, Chooses Independence by Dropping Father’s Last Name

0

Vivienne, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s youngest daughter, is taking steps to remove Pitt’s last name from her own.

At 18 years old, Vivienne has mirrored the actions of her older siblings by submitting a petition to the Los Angeles County Superior Court. She is seeking to officially alter her name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to simply Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.

Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail cite the reason for the name change as “personal.” A court hearing on this matter has been slated for November 2.

This petition signifies another step in Vivienne’s apparent desire to create distance from the Pitt name.

Previously, in May 2024, she had already removed her father’s surname from her credit in the Playbill for “The Outsiders” on Broadway, where she was listed as Vivienne Jolie while co-producing with her mother.

Born in 2008 alongside twin brother Knox, Vivienne is the youngest of the former couple’s six children.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Pitt and Jolie for comment.

A source recently told the Daily Mail that Pitt views the rift with his children as ‘deeply painful’ and ‘believes Angelina’s role in how things unfolded is the ultimate betrayal.’

It comes days after the actor’s daughter Zahara, 21, and son Maddox, 24, have published notices revealing their intentions to drop ‘Pitt’ from their last names.

The advertisements were both published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal throughout June and July.

‘Petitioner Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt filed a petition with this court for a decree changing names as follows: Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie,’ one notice stated.

‘Petitioner Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt filed a petition with this court for a decree changing names as follows: Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to Maddox Chivan Jolie,’ the other said.

The notices both invite dissenting parties to appear at a scheduled hearing over the matter; Zahara’s is scheduled for September 28 while Maddox’s is on September 14.

In the state of California, those seeking to legally change their name must publish an Order to Show Cause – a document requesting the name change – for four weeks in a row in a newspaper before their court date.

It comes a month after Zahara filed a petition requesting that her new name be Zahara Marley Jolie.

Maddox also filed to drop the actor’s last name in late May.

The reason behind the teenager's name change is listed as 'personal,' according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail. An official court hearing is scheduled for November 2

Zahara publicly dropped the last name three years ago when she joined a sorority at Spelman College.

She also went by Zahara Marley Jolie during her graduation ceremony, which her father reportedly skipped, according to TMZ.

‘Nothing prevented him from showing up for her. Or ever visiting her. The day was about all she accomplished. Not whether he was willing to attend,’ a source close to Jolie told the publication.

However, multiple sources have exclusively spoken to the Daily Mail in defense of Pitt, insisting that he is not the absent father he has been portrayed as, and he wants a relationship with his six children.

Jolie and Pitt’s other daughter Shiloh, 20, has also dropped the actor’s last name. It is not known if their son Pax, 22, has stopped using the name as well.

Last year, Shiloh, who was born Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie.

At the time, in a statement shared with People, Shiloh’s lawyer Peter Levine said she ‘made an independent and significant decision following painful events,’ adding that she was ‘merely following legal process’ when publishing notice of the change.

Pitt and Jolie were involved in a grueling eight-year divorce battle that was finalized in 2024.

The marriage ended after a volatile plane incident in 2016 and abuse allegations, which Pitt has adamantly denied. He has also never been charged with a crime and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt of physical abuse allegations.

Jimmy Kimmel Hosts Star-Studded Return of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ on ABC

LOS ANGELES — Jimmy Kimmel returns to the spotlight for yet another thrilling season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”, where a fresh lineup of celebrities aim to secure a million-dollar jackpot for causes close to their hearts.

ABC is gearing up to broadcast the fifth season of this popular show. In previous runs, notable figures like Ike Barinholtz, Alan Barinholtz, Matt Damon, Ken Jennings, Oscar Nuñez, and Kate Flannery have emerged victorious in the celebrity edition.

Kimmel, who relishes his role as the show’s host, expressed his enjoyment, saying, “I love doing the show. It’s so much easier than doing my show,” highlighting the fun he has on set.

He added that the charitable angle of the game elevates the stakes for contestants. “What really hits home is listening to participants discuss their chosen charities. Often, these are deeply personal stories,” Kimmel remarked. “You gain insight into what these well-known personalities genuinely value.”

Kimmel himself knows the stress of the game firsthand. He participated alongside Regis Philbin back in 2001, where he successfully pocketed $125,000, drawing from his own experience in the contestant’s chair.

“I have been on the show by myself with no partner and a lifeline who didn’t really understand what he was supposed to do. And I won $125,000 back in the Regis days,” Kimmel said.

This season includes a number of comedians, which Kimmel said brings a natural energy to the game. “Yeah, you know what, when you have two comedians sitting next to each other, especially when they’ve known each other for a long time,” he said. “It’s, you there’s just a chemistry there and a rhythm and sometimes they jab each other, and it’s a lot of fun to watch.”

The season also includes Clayton Kershaw, who is playing with Brad Paisley. “He, well, I’m not gonna say how it went, but I will say that he represented his team well,” Kimmel said.

Kimmel is currently on summer vacation from “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” with guest hosts sitting in.

Watch the season premiere of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Wednesday, July 22 on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.

High Potential Season 3 Premiere: Release Date and Episode Details

We find ourselves delightfully submerged in an abundance of must-watch streaming content this season!

The indie film sensation Obsession has just made its debut on Peacock. Meanwhile, Netflix is rolling out its latest true crime documentary, A Toxic Love Story, set to premiere on Wednesday, July 22. Additionally, our screens are buzzing with the weekly excitement of shows like House of the Dragon on HBO, Dark Side of the Ring on Vice TV, Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness also on HBO, Ride or Die on Prime Video, and Project Runway on Freeform.

Gone are the days when summer television was synonymous with reruns. However, even now, network TV hosts some familiar repeats during the sultry months of June, July, and August. For instance, let’s take a peek at tonight’s lineup on ABC’s primetime schedule.

Fans of High Potential will face disappointment tonight as there are no new episodes on air. Adding to the dismay is the news that the release date for High Potential Season 3 has been pushed back. Curious about when Morgan (played by Kaitlin Olson) and her team will grace the screens again? Here’s what you need to know about their anticipated return.

Is High Potential Airing a New Episode Tonight on ABC (July 21)?

Tonight’s schedule on ABC offers no fresh content. Instead, viewers will be treated to reruns. The evening begins with RJ Decker at 8:00 p.m. ET, followed by a double dose of Will Trent from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET.

Will There Be a Season 3 of High Potential?

Yes! In March 2026, ABC renewed High Potential for Season 3. It was also revealed that the series would have new showrunners, Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Poker Face), with Todd Harthan leaving to work on a live-action adaptation of the YA book series The Inheritance Cycle (currently titled Eragon).

When Is High Potential Season 3 Coming Out?

It was revealed at the Disney Upfront event that three ABC favorites, High Potential, Will Trent, and The Rookie, will all be held for midseason debuts. Sadly, that means that all three shows won’t be back with new episodes for the fall 2026 season.

Official release dates have yet to be announced, but all three shows are expected to return in early 2027 (most likely January).

“What we’ve seen the last several years, and we’ve really proven this out with Will Trent and The Rookie back in midseason of 24 and 25, is we want to give viewers a chance to watch these shows with as little interruption as possible across the season,” ABC’s SVP of Content Strategy and Scheduling Ari Goldman said. “So I think when we get to the midseason plans, and you think about the opportunities that we have on the ABC schedule, going from New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to the College Football Playoff, the Grammys, the Oscars, and obviously the Super Bowl. I think we have such amazing momentum at the start of 27 to bring the show back in a big way.”

High Potential and Will Trent will most likely air on Tuesdays, with The Rookie and the upcoming spinoff The Rookie: North together on Mondays.

4 Bed Exercises to Boost Core Strength After 60 Faster Than Planks

0

Maintaining a robust and stable core is essential for the nuances of everyday movement.

>

From walking to hefting grocery bags, or even just standing tall, our core is engaged without us even realizing it. This powerhouse of strength enables efficient power transfer between the upper and lower body, aids in balance, and supports spinal stability.

Many fitness enthusiasts turn to planks to enhance their core strength, as this exercise simultaneously works the shoulders, glutes, obliques, and deep core muscles. Yet, Andrew Menechian, Co-Founder and Head of Fitness at FitCommit, advocates for an innovative alternative: four simple exercises that can be done from the comfort of your bed, potentially accelerating core strength gains. Menechian, with over a decade’s experience in the fitness industry and a track record of mentoring more than 100 trainers, brings fresh insight through his work with The Fitness Playground and Clean Health Fitness Institute.

“I favor bed-based core workouts, especially for older adults, because they minimize the fear of injury and reduce joint stress,” said Menechian. “While a plank can be beneficial, issues with the wrists, shoulders, or lower back often arise first, which prevents the core from being fully engaged. By performing exercises on the bed, one can concentrate on bracing, breathing, and controlled leg movements without putting pressure on the wrists or asking the shoulders to bear weight. For individuals over 60, this shift can be the key difference between consistent exercise and abandoning the routine due to discomfort.”

Flights Resume After 40 Years with US Aid Boost to Lebanon

0

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed a strong commitment on Tuesday to extend significant aid to Lebanon as its leader, Joseph Aoun, looks to Washington for support in a delicate mission to disarm Hezbollah and pursue peaceful relations with Israel.

During a meeting at the White House, Trump underscored the challenges faced by Lebanon, describing it as a “very mistreated country” that has endured hardships over many decades.

“It’s probably a dangerous place in a lot of ways,” Trump told reporters. “But they love the country… and we’re going to help it. We’re going to help it a lot.”

This meeting marked a significant occasion as Aoun became the first Lebanese president to visit Washington since 2009. He called for political backing and ongoing support for the Lebanese army, which is currently deploying in southern areas under a U.S.-endorsed agreement with Israel.

“We need to support the LAF,” Aoun emphasized, referring to the Lebanese Armed Forces. “Without the LAF, everything will collapse.”

Aoun’s nearly two-hour visit took place as Israeli troops continue to occupy a swath of the country’s south and hundreds of thousands of Lebanese remain displaced following Israeli strikes. Hezbollah has rejected the government’s direct talks with Israel as well as efforts by the state to disarm it.

The talks highlighted Aoun’s delicate balancing act — seeking Trump’s help to secure an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon while simultaneously facing pressure from the United States and Israel to disarm Hezbollah, which remains a formidable fighting force despite recent setbacks.

The Lebanese president, a former army commander, said the military was “the backbone of security and stability” and the country’s most trusted institution.

In a statement after the talks, the Lebanese presidency said Aoun stressed to Trump the “urgent need for a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory,” calling it “an essential step to consolidate stability and enable the Lebanese state to extend its full sovereignty exclusively through its own forces.”

Flights resume

Following his meeting with Aoun, Trump said he would direct his administration to allow all US airline carriers to fly directly to Lebanon— a historic policy shift more than 40 years in the making.

US flights were suspended in 1985 after the hijacking of TWA Flight 847 from Athens, Greece, en route to Rome, Italy, that was forced to land in Beirut. During the 17-day ordeal, a US Navy diver was brutally killed.

The Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Department did not immediately comment.

Trump’s visit came as the Lebanese army moved into an area of the south under a deal with Israel aimed at proving Lebanon can extend state authority and disarm Iran-backed Hezbollah.

But in a sign of the fragility of the agreement, the Lebanese army said Israeli troops fired near its soldiers deploying in a so-called “pilot zone” Israel is supposed to withdraw from.

Asked whether Washington would put additional pressure on Israel to withdraw, Trump said: “We’ll be looking at that.”

Lebanon is under pressure to prove that it can and will disarm Hezbollah, which Israel has set as a precondition for ending its occupation in southern Lebanon.

The “pilot zones” where the Lebanese army is deploying are primarily located just outside territory Israeli forces invaded after Hezbollah opened rocket fire on Israel and drew Lebanon into the Middle East war in March.

The army said Tuesday it had begun deploying to one of three pilot zones, the village of Zawtar al-Gharbiya. Israel’s military said it would be “adjusting its force posture” in one pilot area.

Hours later, however, the Lebanese army said Israeli forces “opened fire in the vicinity of these units,” adding that the incident would hinder the deployment.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it had only fired “warning shots into the air” after Lebanese soldiers entered an area that was “not part of the pilot area.”

“The Lebanese Armed Forces personnel withdrew from the area, and no injuries were reported,” it added.

‘Terrorist Infrastructure’

Aoun has staunchly criticised Hezbollah for forcing Lebanon into the war and has vowed since taking office in early 2025 to bring all weapons under state control.

But Hezbollah has repeatedly rejected laying down its arms, and the group has flatly opposed both the deal and the Israel-Lebanon negotiations that underpin it.

Aoun said the framework agreement did not require parliamentary endorsement and was a presidential prerogative under Lebanon’s constitution.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said after meeting Aoun on Sunday that Lebanon would “never truly get peace” as long as Hezbollah remained armed.

Rubio also praised what he called the Lebanese government’s effort to reclaim sovereignty, disarm Hezbollah and dismantle its “terrorist infrastructure.”

Aoun’s push comes after Israeli strikes in the latest conflict killed more than 4,300 people in Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities.

The violence has dropped off sharply since the signing of a framework agreement between the United States and Iran last month and the Lebanon-Israel deal.

Trump also used the meeting to warn Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels against following through on threats to blockade Saudi ports.

“If something like that happens, we take care of it,” Trump told reporters. “We’ve done that with the Houthis before, and we haven’t heard from them in a while since we did what we did originally.”
