In 2012, her sibling Anwar and mother Yolanda were both given Lyme disease diagnoses.
During a speech at the 2015 Global Lyme Alliance gala, the 59-year-old matriarch formally disclosed that two of her three children were also battling alongside her.
“Watching my babies battle in silence to support me in my path, while Bella and Anwar, my two youngest children, were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in early 2012, struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me,” she said.
“This honor belongs to Bella and Anwar.

Gigi Hadid, Bella’s elder sister, is 27 years old and does not have Lyme disease, but she has been battling Hashimoto’s Disease, an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid cells since she was only 16 years old.
What Else Does Bella Hadid Suffer From?
Bella openly battles anxiety and depression in addition to the effects of Lyme disease.

What Is Lyme Disease
