In 1957, our cosmic sojourn began with the Soviet satellite Sputnik breaching our atmosphere. Invideo AI functions similarly, turning your ideas into visually stunning videos with just a simple prompt. But hold on, there’s more to it. Add subtitles, tweak the music volume, or switch the voiceover to a British female voice – all with a few words. The possibilities are astounding, and we’ve only scratched the surface. Stay tuned, as I’ll guide you through starting a TikTok automation business using this powerful tool.

### Getting Started with Invideo AI

To access Invideo AI, follow the link in the description. Create a free account, and you’ll land on a user-friendly dashboard. The central element is a text box where you input prompts. For a basic start, you can type something like “Create a 2-minute video about cats,” and Invideo AI takes care of script planning, voiceover, and video creation.

However, for professional-quality videos, a more detailed prompt is key. As you continue watching, I’ll share my prompt formula for optimal results. In the dropdown menu, select a workflow – YouTube Shorts, YouTube Explainer, recent events video, or script to video. Each requires specific information, essential for understanding the Tik Tok automation business we’ll explore later.

## Crafting Engaging Videos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s consider creating a YouTube explainer, an excellent choice for a faceless YouTube channel. Specify the video duration (e.g., 10 minutes) and provide detailed information about the video. For instance, create a video about “Nine Crazy Facts About Cats.” Be creative in defining the overall look – start with a captivating fact, ensure humor, engagement, and dynamism, and end with a question for audience interaction.

Customization continues with background music and voiceover settings. Select the music type, gender, and accent for the voiceover. Subtitles are optional but add a layer of engagement. After hitting ‘Continue,’ the magic begins as Invideo AI transforms your detailed prompt into a video. Want to customize further? Invideo AI allows you to tweak various elements, from audience selection to the video’s look and feel.

### Editing Made Easy

Not satisfied with a specific part? Invideo AI simplifies edits. Use the text box underneath the video to request changes or click ‘Edit’ for more comprehensive options. You can modify media, script, or even export to the timeline for detailed edits and full customization (currently in the alpha stage).

## Elevate Your Videos: Paid Plans and Advanced Features

While Invideo AI offers a free option, upgrading to a paid plan (starting at $20 a month) unlocks a range of features crucial for serious video creation and the TikTok automation business. Unlimited exports, high-resolution videos, and access to premium footage – these elements enhance the quality of your content.

## Viral Content Creation: Recent Events Video Workflow

Invideo AI’s recent events video workflow adds another layer to your content creation arsenal. Use an article link as a reference, and within minutes, you have a trending video. Explore the world of artificial intelligence or any niche that aligns with trending topics.

## The TikTok Automation Business Model

Now, the big question – how does the TikTok account, seemingly simple yet monetarily successful, operate? The answer lies in affiliate product promotion. By examining the account’s bio, we find links to popular ClickBank products like Soulmate Sketch and Wealth DNA Code. With multiple accounts in the same niche, they consistently promote these products in their videos, some of which have garnered millions of views. The simplicity of the videos is the key, but I’ll show you how to leverage Invideo AI for even better results.

### Getting Started with TikTok Automation

Starting your TikTok automation business is a step-by-step process. Begin by selecting an affiliate product – platforms like ClickBank or Digistore offer diverse options. Create a TikTok account, and the real fun begins – content creation. Brainstorm video ideas, and here are three methods to help you:

1. **Chat GPT Ideation**: Use Chat GPT to generate video ideas for your niche. For example, if it suggests “Dog Health Tips,” copy the idea and head to Invideo AI.

Indigenous Leaders and Officials Unite to Address Anzac Day Booing Controversy

0

In Brief

  • Booing interrupted several Welcome to Country’s at dawn services in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth on Saturday morning.
  • Politicians and military leaders have condemned the actions of the few.

Senior figures from the military, along with politicians and Indigenous leaders, have united in their criticism of the disruptions caused by hecklers during Welcome to Country addresses at Anzac Day services nationwide on Saturday.

Defence Minister Richard Marles expressed his disapproval, labeling the actions as “disgraceful” and contrary to the spirit of the occasion.

“Acknowledgements to Country are acts of respect,” Marles stated during an interview with ABC News Breakfast. “Anzac Day is a day of respect, and such behavior runs entirely counter to that. It’s profoundly disgraceful.”

Marles emphasized the importance of recognizing the significant contributions made by Indigenous Australians to the Australian Defence Force and the country’s military heritage.

Major General Richard Vagg, acting chief of the army, also denounced the heckling, describing it as “disgraceful behavior” that disregards the essence of what the day represents.

“Just about every service person, serving and past, would be upset with that type of behaviour,” he said.

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan said, “politicising this sacred day is bastardry”.

“To break the stillness of Dawn Service is not just ugly behaviour towards our Aboriginal servicemen and women who defended this country — it disrespects everyone who fought and died for our freedoms,” she said.

NSW Premier Chris Minns said he had never seen anything like it — but took heart from the response of the crowd.

“I’m disappointed by what we saw from a small number of people,” Minns said in a statement. “Whilst I’ve never before heard booing like that at a dawn service, I’ve also never heard a crowd spontaneously applaud as they did for Uncle Ray Minniecon.”

“That act made it clear what the views of the vast majority attending were. This is a day to honour sacrifice.”

Booing sours dawn services across the country

Several Welcomes and Acknowledgements of Country — part of the official dawn service proceedings — were interrupted by booing on Saturday morning.

Sydney

In Sydney, a small but vocal group booed during the Acknowledgement of Country delivered by Pastor and Uncle Ray Minniecon — himself an ADF veteran — at the Cenotaph in Martin Place.

The outburst was met with an extended chorus of applause from the thousands gathered in support of Uncle Minniecon.

NSW Police confirmed a 24-year-old man was arrested for “an alleged act of nuisance” during the service, with several others moved on. He has been granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on 3 June.

“I think they’ve got to understand that this always was and always will be Aboriginal land,” Uncle Ray told the ABC.

“We have experienced this type of racism now for over 230 years … what crime did we commit to attract this kind of racism and this kind of hate?

“We do have some laws in the country that try to deter people from this, but it seems like these people still want to be a little bit lawless.”

RSL NSW acting president, retired brigadier Vincent Williams, said the booing was “the most appalling act I’ve ever seen at a dawn service”.

“I apologise unreservedly to Uncle Ray … his family has contributed enormously to our nation from the First World War to the current day,” he told the ABC.

“I’m pretty convinced that none of the bunch of louts who were booing have ever done anything constructive for our nation.”

Melbourne

In Melbourne, booing broke out during the Welcome to Country by Bunurong and Gunditjmara man Uncle Mark Brown at the Shrine of Remembrance — though loud cheers from the crowd of more than 50,000 largely drowned out the disruption as he concluded his address.

RSL ambassador and veteran of East Timor and Afghanistan Ricky Morris, who introduced Uncle Brown, condemned what he called “disappointing behaviour”.

“People come here with an agenda. It’s disappointing for them that they need to do that on a most solemn day,” he said.

“They need to acknowledge what they’ve done today has disrespected a lot of descendants of veterans and veterans that were here today.”

Perth

In Perth, Western Australia Police issued 14 move-on notices to people attempting to disrupt the dawn service at Kings Park, where Whadjuk Noongar Elder Di Ryder — a female veteran — was met with booing during her address.

RSL WA chief executive Stephen Barton told the crowd the booing “was one of the most disgraceful things I have ever heard”, drawing applause, the ABC reported.

In a sign of solidarity, WA Governor Chris Dawson invited Elder Di Ryder to lay a wreath alongside him.

It’s not the first time the ceremonies have been marred by booing.

Last year, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned heckling at dawn services in Melbourne and Perth, calling for those responsible to “face the full force of the law”.

A long history of Indigenous service

A commemorative ceremony to honour Indigenous Australians who have served in the Australian forces since 1901 was also held in Canberra on Saturday morning, drawing guests from the United States, New Zealand, the UK, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.

Organised by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Veterans Association, the event drew both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.

The association’s director of communications, Aboriginal veteran Garth O’Connell, said the ceremony acknowledged a painful chapter in the nation’s history.

“In the not too distant past, terribly unequal treatment was given to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander veterans on their return to Australia,” he said.

“That many of our veterans and families suffered from this — and still do today — and we vow never to let that happen again.”

Justice in Jeopardy: Son Fears Suspected Killer’s Freedom After Conviction Overturned in Mother’s Execution-Style Murder

0

A family in Wisconsin is grappling with shock after a judge overturned the conviction of a man once deemed guilty in the long-unsolved case of a mother’s execution-style murder.

Miguel Cruz had been sentenced to life imprisonment in 2021 for the murder of 39-year-old Juanita Zdroik in Racine County back in 2000.

The tragic incident unfolded on February 7, 2000, when the mother of three was abducted and taken to a remote highway, where she was executed after witnessing a double murder in Milwaukee.

Despite an intense investigation to identify her murderer, the case went cold until Cruz was apprehended in 2017 as a suspect.

“One day I got a call while at work, and they said they caught my mother’s murderer,” Zach Zdroik, Juanita’s son who was 13 years old at the time of her death, told Fox News Digital.

“I felt extreme relief that the man responsible for my mother’s murder, and ultimately for a lifetime of pain for my sister and I, is finally where he belongs,” Zdroik added. “It was very fulfilling for us.”

However, after filing an appeal surrounding the credibility of DNA and a broader investigation into the members of the sheriff’s office’s conduct, Cruz was granted a new trial earlier this week.

“It was obviously heartbreaking, knowing that we have to deal with this again,” Zdroik said. “We’ve been very understanding throughout this entire process that has been years with the county and the legal system, so the fact that we saw the system itself fail us as a family was pretty disheartening.”

Despite Cruz ultimately winning his chance at appeal, the charges against him have not been dismissed – setting the stage for a second trial or, according to Zdroik, a potential plea deal.

“Our voice doesn’t matter to the county or state at this point,” Zdroik told Fox News Digital. “Like, what are we doing here? A man that was proven to be there, multiple eyewitnesses saw him there and they testified against him, now that that is no good due to a corrupt history. But he’s gonna get off now and live a life that my mother wasn’t able to live. I mean, does that seem fair?”

Zdroik added that officials have told him Cruz’s possible plea deal could result in a 10-year prison sentence, which holds the potential of Cruz being released after just six months behind bars.

“Who knows what is possible, I mean, I know this murder took place years ago,” Zdroik said. “I don’t know if he’s done anything else in between now and then that he was arrested for, or even not arrested for, to get away with murder, so who knows.”

However, no plea deal has been officially offered or agreed upon, according to Zdroik.

The ordeal has been especially taxing on Zdroik and his family, including his two sisters and children.

“[My mom] was the one person in this world that I knew always loved me,” Zdroik told Fox News Digital. “I’ve never had that love ever in my life, and I don’t think I’ll ever have it again. My mother was my world.”

“We’ve all had to struggle,” Zdroik added. “And live our lives in darkness and sadness because of this.”

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office, Racine County District Attorney’s Office and Cruz’s attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Cheryl Hines’ Memorable Moment: Lifted High at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

0

Cheryl Hines recounted the terrifying incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner when a gunman suddenly began shooting. Security quickly responded by helping her over chairs to evacuate the ballroom.

Saturday evening saw journalists and key figures from the Trump administration gather for the annual event, which celebrates the First Amendment and the role of journalism in America.

The dinner was abruptly interrupted as gunshots shattered the evening, prompting security personnel to swiftly move to protect and evacuate the nation’s top officials.

Hines attended the event with her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who served as the Health and Human Services Secretary under President Trump.

Once safely home, Hines, still dressed in her evening attire, recorded a video message to share with her followers, reflecting on the experience: “That was a crazy moment in time.”

‘So we were there, and we heard shots, everybody got under the tables, nobody knew what was going on, and then Bobby’s security detail surrounded us,’ she continued.

‘They had to lift me over chairs, because I’m in heels, and a gown. They took us through all of the back ways, and we got in the car and left.’

In a second update, Hines said she and her husband were okay and were home watching the news.

Photos of the chaos depicted Hines and Kennedy ducking for cover and rushing out of the ballroom, accompanied by a massive security detail.

Videos inside the dinner also revealed Vice President JD Vance was hoisted out of his chair by the Secret Service, while President Trump was covered in place before being dramatically escorted off the stage.

The suspect was later identified as Cole Thomas Allen, 31, a teacher from Torrance, California.

Trump later shared chilling security footage of the event, which depicted the shooter storming past security with a gun in hand. Multiple armed guards rushed towards Allen before exchanging gunfire.

One officer was struck in his bulletproof vest and is expected to recover. Everyone else was unharmed. Authorities said that Allen had been armed with a handgun and multiple knives.

Guests were seen in chaotic images ducking under tables, reaching for their phones and being pushed by Secret Service agents out of the ballroom.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was also seen ordering his table to leave the ballroom as chants of ‘God Bless America’ and ‘USA’ were heard in the background.

The event attempted to resume, but the dinner was canceled for the evening, and guests departed the venue.

Meanwhile, cops swarmed Allen’s parents’ $877,000 home shortly after he was arrested.

Officials said Allen had no prior criminal record and was not previously known to law enforcement in Washington DC.

Photographs circulating online show him smiling alongside family members at graduations and gatherings.

His social media details indicate he is highly educated and academically accomplished.

On LinkedIn, he describes himself as: ‘A mechanical engineer and computer scientist by degree, independent game developer by experience, teacher by birth.’

Allen earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and later a Master of Science in Computer Science from a California State University.

During his time at Caltech, Allen listed his involvement in the Caltech Christian Fellowship and the Caltech Nerf Club.

More recently, Allen had been working in education. In December 2024, he was named Teacher of the Month at C2 Education, a recognition typically reserved for standout instructors.

Allen has been charged with two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in federal court on Monday.

If convicted, Allen could face 20 years in jail for the assault, while the weapons charges come with a minimum of ten years, with a possibility of life behind bars.

Alleged Gunman Reportedly Targeted Former President Trump and Other Officials

0

The individual who attempted to breach a security checkpoint at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner seemed to have been aiming for members of the Trump administration, according to the acting attorney general. This alarming incident unfolded with Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old educator from Torrance, a suburb on the outskirts of Los Angeles, California. He was apprehended on Saturday night (Sunday AEST) after allegedly discharging a firearm while attempting to gain access to the banquet hall at the Hilton hotel, where President Donald Trump was notably present as a special guest.

Allen, whose professional background includes teaching and video game development in Southern California, was distinguished as “Teacher of the Month” in December 2024, as cited by his employer. This accolade highlights the contrast between his public persona and the actions he allegedly undertook.

Upon his arrest, authorities reportedly found Allen to be in possession of a shotgun, a handgun, and several knives. This disturbing cache of weapons led the FBI to conduct thorough searches of properties in California associated with him. Allen is scheduled to appear in court on Monday to face a series of charges related to firearm offenses.

CNN reports Allen is a teacher and video game developer, citing public records. The news outlet reports a LinkedIn profile matching his name and photo described him as a part-time teacher at test preparation and tutoring company C2 Education.
C2 named Allen the company's "teacher of the month" in December 2024, according to social media posts from the company.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche shared insights with CNN, indicating that President Trump was presumably among Allen’s intended targets. This revelation underscores the serious nature of the threat and the potential implications of the attempted breach.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told CNN that it was believed that the president was likely one of Allen’s targets.

“It does appear the suspect was targeting members of the administration. … We don’t have specifics yet about particular members of the administration, except that we do understand that that was his goal and his target,” Blanche said.

He said Allen “got off a couple shots” but was “immediately subdued”.

“From what we know from video surveillance and from witnesses who were there, (he) barely got past the perimeter,” Blanche said.

“He was immediately subdued, and, yes, he got off a couple shots,” Blanche said, adding the president spoke with the Secret Service agent who was hit in the chest while wearing a bulletproof vest.

Asked whether the incident marked a security failure, Blanche said he viewed it instead as a success story.

“The goal is not expected to stop every single thing, it’s to create a very safe and very secure environment, which is what happened last night,” he said.

“Make no mistake about it, the Secret Service did their jobs last night.”

Footage shows shooter storming security

CCTV footage posted by Trump on Truth Social shows the moment the alleged shooter rushed security inside the Hilton hotel.

More than half a dozen police and Secret Service agents were manning a security station near the banquet hall.

The alleged shooter sprints past, armed with a long arm, before security immediately began opening fire in his direction.

“He was moving, he was really moving, and the reaction time was great,” Trump told reporters.

He also posted an image without a caption, of a man being held on a carpeted floor.

“They seem to think he was a lone wolf, and I feel that too,” he told reporters.

“He was a guy who looked pretty evil when he was down. He was biting hard.”

Another photo taken at the scene shows a man covered with a foil blanket on the floor with his hands cuffed, overseen by law enforcement officers.

Suspect worked as a part-time teacher

A LinkedIn profile matching his name and photo described him as a part-time teacher at C2 Education, a test prep and tutoring company.

C2 named Allen the company’s “teacher of the month” in December 2024, according to social media posts from the company. When CNMN attempted to reach out no one answered a phone number for C2.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Allen graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

He received a master’s degree in computer science from California State University-Dominguez Hills last year.

Allen also described himself as a video game developer on his LinkedIn profile, and appears to have published an indie game called Bohrdom for sale on the Steam gaming platform for $US1.99.

He registered a trademark for the game’s name in 2018, according to federal trademark records.

Suspect thought to have worked alone

Interim Washington, DC police chief Jeffery W Carroll said investigators had no reason to believe at this time that anyone else was involved.

Carroll said that he could not say at this point what the shooter’s motivation was, and that it is too soon to know who the suspect had intended to target in the shooting.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro said the suspect is being charged preliminarily with two charges related to using a firearm and assaulting an officer with a dangerous weapon, but that there will be many more charges filed “based on the information that we are learning in this very fluid situation”.

Pirro said the suspect would be arraigned on Monday in federal district court.

Media have been seen at a house connected to him in the Californian city.

Trump called the shooter a “whack job”. and a “sick person”.

Unmasking the Risk: How the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting Suspect Could Be Wrongly Idolized

0

On Saturday, CNN’s Van Jones expressed concern about the potential glorification of the suspect linked to an alleged assassination attempt on President Donald Trump during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

Jones, known for his liberal viewpoints, highlighted how figures like Luigi Mangione have been romanticized in the past, urging a collective stand against political violence.

Jones remarked, “What troubles me is that the shooter survived, and when he appears in court on Monday, there’s a risk he might be turned into a hero. Consider what happened with Luigi [Mangione], who was idolized after killing a CEO. Tonight, we witnessed both the worst and the best of America. My hope is that we don’t revert to the worst. Let me be clear — such reprehensible acts have no place in our society, irrespective of political affiliation.”

He added, “We’re unsure if his motives were to harm Democrats, Republicans, journalists, or politicians, as all were present. This behavior is unacceptable in America. Violence is not a solution. There’s a disturbing trend of glorifying violence against billionaires or other groups, and it must be condemned immediately. Everyone with a voice must speak against it, or this cycle will continue.”

Dodgers Anticipate Breakout Performances from Ohtani, Freeman, and Tucker

0

In light of recent challenges faced by their high-profile offense, some of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ leading players decided to lighten the mood on Saturday afternoon.

Freddie Freeman, encountering Shohei Ohtani in the Dodger Stadium parking lot as both arrived at the venue, humorously addressed their shared batting woes. “Can we please get some hits today?” Freeman quipped to Ohtani, both of whom had been struggling at the plate.

Meanwhile, Kyle Tucker, also experiencing a sluggish start this season, made a playful entrance into the training room just before the game. With a hint of sarcasm, he questioned his teammates with, “Do you have hits? Do you have hits?”

By the end of the night, the answer to Tucker’s jest was a triumphant yes, as the Dodgers’ bats finally came alive.

In an impressive 12-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs, the Dodgers rediscovered their offensive prowess. They amassed 14 hits, excelled with runners in scoring position by going 7-for-18, and staged their most significant rally of the season with a six-run fourth inning, followed by four more runs in the sixth to secure the game.

“I think we made a statement,” catcher Dalton Rushing said. “Now we just gotta carry it over into tomorrow.”

To do that consistently, however, the Dodgers still need their best bats to heat up.

And even in the wake of Saturday’s outburst, questions are lingering around their biggest stars.

That’s not to say Saturday didn’t yield some improvements from the likes of Ohtani, Freeman and Tucker among others. All of them had a hit. Ohtani, who also drew two walks, reached base three times. And each made contributions to at least one of their big offensive innings.

On the whole, though, there is more to be desired from each amid somewhat sluggish opening-month performances. After all, at some point, they are the ones who will have to spearhead the offense long-term.

It starts with Ohtani, who showed more patience on Saturday but is still lacking for power of late.

Despite snapping a 0-for-12 skid with an opposite-field single in the first inning –– only his fourth hit the other way in a season he has fallen victim to too many pulled balls –– he finished the day just 1-for-3, leaving him batting .240 on the year and .130 in his last six games.

“It’ll balance itself out,” Roberts said pregame. “But yeah, he’s going through it right now.”

At the very least, Ohtani avoided a strikeout on Saturday, something he had done nine times previously this week. Yet, his last home run was now 56 plate appearances ago, his longest drought as a Dodger and the sixth-longest of his career.

“Obviously, we know the talent,” Roberts said. “So he certainly deserves more leash and more opportunity than essentially anyone.”

The same applies to Freeman, who started the campaign with a string of unlucky results but has settled into a more traditional slump lately.

Though he produced a key hit Saturday, smacking a trademark opposite-field line drive for an RBI single in the fourth, he didn’t reach safely again on the night, leaving him 4-for-19 in the last five games. His .280 batting average is still third-best among the team’s qualified hitters. But he’s in his own slugging drought this week, having gone five games without an extra-base hit.

Then there’s Tucker, who remains the most glaring issue in the Dodgers’ lineup.

Like Freeman, he contributed to Saturday’s win with a leadoff double in the sixth-inning rally. However, he also finished the day 1-for-5. And unlike Freeman, he doesn’t have strong overall numbers this year to fall back on, ranking last among the club’s regulars with both a .235 average and .682 OPS.

The two hits he collected in his first game as the team’s clean-up hitter earlier this week, it turns out, have not ignited a larger turnaround yet.

The good news: The Dodgers are still leading the majors as a team in most offensive categories. They have been buoyed by scorching starts from other impact performers like Max Muncy (who hit his ninth home run Saturday, and is leading the National League with a 1.027 OPS) and Andy Pages (who broke out of his own 3-for-25 slide with two hits and three RBIs in the win, bumping his average back up to an NL-best .337). And on any given night, they remain capable of all-around displays such as Saturday’s.

“A hallmark for our club is (creating) stress,” Roberts said. “Continuing to put pressure on the opposing pitchers.”

Still, until their biggest stars find top form –– including the injured Mookie Betts, who is a couple weeks away from returning from an oblique strain, and Teoscar Hernández, who had two knocks Saturday after a 13 at-bat hitless streak –– their offense might not consistently find that top gear.

On Saturday, that group at least got some hits again. But the search for more continues to drag on.

Statistics Confirm Nationwide Concerns Over Rising Violence Against Women in Australia

0

Recent findings reveal a troubling increase in intimate partner violence across Australia, underscored by a series of tragic incidents.

The Homicide in Australia 2022-2023 report indicates that between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, there were 247 homicide victims.

Among these cases, 38 involved intimate partners, with a staggering 89 percent of the victims being women.

According to Dr. Rick Brown, Deputy Director of the Australian Institute of Criminology, this represents a four percent rise compared to the previous year.

These statistics emerge as Australians, particularly women, mobilize to protest against gender-based violence, reflecting the nation’s growing concern over the issue.

In 2024 so far, 27 women have been murdered – amounting to one every four days.

Among the victims were five women who lost their lives after knifeman Joel Cauchi, 40, carried out his stabbing rampage at Westfield Bondi Junction on April 13.

Since then, 28-year-old Forbes woman Molly Ticehurst and 49-year-old Emma Bates were both found dead in their homes in separate incidents. Two men have been charged in relation to each of the tragedies.

Rebecca Young, 42, Samantha Murphy, 51 and Hannah McGuire, 23 have all tragically died in the past two months, while mother Chaithanya Madhagani, known as ‘Swetha’ was found inside a wheelie bin on March 9.

In the 2022-2023 data set published today, 14 women had been killed by April that year. That is 13 less than this year.

The report found there were ‘160 homicide incidents… where motive was applicable.

‘Most homicide incidents are immediately preceded by an argument between the victim and offender. Around a fifth of homicide incidents were  preceded by a domestic argument.’

Four incidents were described as being motivated by revenge, two by jealousy, another two by desertion, eight by ‘apparent delusion’, 33 due to an argument of a domestic nature and 16 had no apparent motive.

While the majority of male victims were killed by a friend or acquaintance, half of the female victims were killed by a current or former partner.

Seventeen per cent of women were killed by another family member.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he would convene an emergency meeting of the national cabinet on Wednesday to discuss the crisis with state and territory ministers.

Speaking at the Canberra rally at the weekend, Mr Albanese described the problem as a ‘national crisis’ and said one or two months of funding would not be enough to solve it.

‘It’s up to men to change men’s behaviour as well,’ he said.

‘Yes, people do need to be made accountable and I’ll be accountable for what my government does.’

Organiser Sarah Williams later slammed Mr Albanese on social media, accusing him of entitlement in a scathing post.

‘Albanese abusing his power by aggressively stating when I asked the crowd if we should let him speak, ‘I’m the prime minister of this country, I run this country’ demonstrated his entitlement,’ she wrote.

Video of the event shows Ms Williams telling Mr Albanese ‘that’s a lie, that’s a flat-out lie’ after he claimed he had earlier requested to speak.

‘For him to not only demand he speak because he was being heckled, but lie was disgraceful,’ she wrote later.

‘He demonstrated today what entitlement looks like. A man with power trying to diminish a vulnerable young woman.’

Police were dispatched following reports of gunfire at a post-event celebration connected to the “Little 500” college cycling race. The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered several individuals with gunshot wounds. “Two women fighting … I didn’t think too much of it,” a witness told WHTR. “I figured the police would get to it. But then I saw a girl reach toward her pants leg and start firing. By then, I was already running the other way.”

The Bloomington Police Department has yet to make any arrests in the case.

The incident comes just a week after police identified Shamar Elkins as the suspect in a domestic violence rampage that left eight children dead and two women shot in Louisiana last week.

Shreveport Police Department Corporal Christopher Bordelon released Elkins’ identity while speaking with reporters near the crime scene Sunday evening, calling the mass shooting a “heinous crime.”

Along with the children, Elkins is accused of shooting the mother of his children, who is expected to survive, as well as another woman who is suffering from life-threatening injuries. A teenage victim also sustained injuries considered non-life-threatening.

According to investigators, the suspect first shot a woman on Harrison Street before traveling to a residence on West 79th Street, where the murders happened.

After fleeing, he allegedly carjacked a man at gunpoint near Linwood Avenue and West 79th Street before officers located the vehicle and initiated a pursuit.

The chase continued into Bossier Parish, where officers confronted the suspect and opened fire, killing him at the scene. Authorities said no officers were injured.

Shocking Motive Unveiled: Suspect’s Reason for White House Dinner Shooting Exposed

0

The individual accused of attempting to infiltrate the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is suspected of planning to target figures within the Trump administration, according to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old educator hailing from Torrance, California, was reportedly caught trying to rush past a security barrier while armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and several knives during the Saturday evening event.

In an exchange of gunfire with Secret Service personnel, Allen was subdued and arrested. A bullet struck one agent’s protective vest, but they are expected to make a full recovery. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

Blanche detailed that Allen is believed to have traveled by train, beginning his journey in California, passing through Chicago, and eventually arriving in Washington, D.C. He had checked into the Washington Hilton Hotel, the venue for the dinner, several days prior.

Investigations into Allen’s digital devices have uncovered evidence suggesting that his plan was to target members of the administration attending the event.

‘It does appear that he did in fact set out to target folks who work in the administration, likely including the president,’ Blanche told NBC’s Meet the Press.

The suspect is believed to have purchased the firearms he carried within the last couple of years, Blanche said. He is not being cooperative and is expected to face multiple charges on Monday.

‘He failed,’ Blanche said. ‘Law enforcement did their jobs.’

Allen had told law enforcement that he wanted to shoot administration officials but did not say whether he was targeting President Donald Trump or anyone particular in the administration, CBS News previously reported, citing anonymous sources.

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner, an annual black-tie gala that brings politicians and journalists together, was barely underway when the Secret Service was forced to leap into action after a series of shots rang out.

Trump released surveillance footage of Allen, dressed in all black, sprinting inside the Washington Hilton Hotel with a gun in hand before he was rushed by armed guards.

Journalists in the room captured images of top administration officials getting rushed to safety.

Video footage showed Vice President JD Vance being frantically helped off stage by Secret Service agents as Trump and Melania ducked for cover.

Clips then showed several agents reach for the President and quickly pull him to safety.

Other images showed chaos quickly unfolding, with one picture showing House Speaker Mike Johnson being rushed out of the venue by Secret Service members.

Right behind them was Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller and his wife Katie Miller.

After everyone was rushed to safety, the president spoke at a White House press briefing in the West Wing within an hour of the violence.

‘It’s always shocking when something like this happens,’ he said. ‘I heard a noise and kinda thought it was a tray going down.’

Trump said that immediately Melania Trump recognized the sound as a ‘bad noise,’ adding that ‘it was a rather traumatic experience for her.’

‘Melania was very cognizant,’ he continued.

The President also shared his wife’s fear for his safety given the multiple assassination attempts against him.

Federal prosecutors have announced that Allen is being charged with two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.

He is expected to be arraigned in federal court on Monday.

If convicted, Allen could face 20 years in jail for the assault, while the weapons charges come with a minimum of ten years with a possibility of life behind bars if fired.

‘It is clear, based upon what we know so far, this individual was intent on doing as much harm and as much damage as he could,’ United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said.

‘There will be many more charges based upon the information that we are learning in this very fluid situation,’ she added.

Cops swarmed on Allen’s parents’ $877,000 home on Saturday night shortly after he was arrested.

Officials said Allen had no prior criminal record and was not previously known to law enforcement in Washington, DC.

He is one of four siblings, including two sisters, Stephanie and Arviana, and a brother, Gabriel, according to publicly available information.

Photographs circulating online showed him smiling alongside family members at graduations and gatherings.

His social media details he is highly educated and academically accomplished.

United States Secret Service Deputy Director Matthew Quinn called Allen ‘a coward’ who ‘attempted to create a national tragedy.’

‘He underestimated the protective capabilities of the U.S. Secret Service, and was stopped at first contact,’ Quinn said before commending agents for their fast response.

California Resident Cole Allen Named Suspect in White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting Incident

0

A man from Southern California is at the center of a dramatic episode at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, where he allegedly stormed a security checkpoint armed with multiple weapons and fired at a Secret Service officer. This revelation comes from ABC News.

Identified as 31-year-old Cole Allen from Torrance, California, the suspected assailant is now in police custody, ABC News has verified.

The unexpected breach caused widespread panic within the ballroom, but law enforcement was quick to apprehend Allen, restoring order to the event.

FBI swarms suspect’s Torrance home

Onlookers from Eyewitness News observed the arrival of FBI agents at Allen’s residence on Gramercy Avenue in Torrance. The neighborhood saw a significant police presence, featuring FBI personnel in tactical gear and armored vehicles.

Video footage from AIR7 captured interactions between the home’s occupants and federal agents on the porch. As the investigation unfolded, spotlights illuminated a second-story window and the main entrance of the house.

Agents finally made entry shortly before midnight.

Before agents arrived, ABC7 Reporter Kevin Ozebek was able to knock on the door where authorities believe Allen lives. No one answered, but a neighbor said he often sees Allen riding his moped in the neighborhood.

Eyewitness News video shows a large crowd of neighbors behind crime scene tape in the Torrance neighborhood.

“I walked the dog over here, and I got caught up in this circus of helicopters, media, and neighbors,” said Erik Orrie, who lives nearby.

“The fact that his home is here doesn’t define the city of Torrance this way. The action of one person does not represent the entire city,” Torrance Mayor George Chen told ABC7 at the scene. He noted that Allen is not a teacher at a Torrance school, and is instead a tutor for a private company.

What we know about Cole Allen

According to a LinkedIn page connected to the suspect, Allen is a trained mechanical engineer who now works as a tutor.

His current employer, C2 Education, named Allen “Teacher of the Month” just last year, according to the LinkedIn page.

He describes himself on LinkedIn as a “Mechanical engineer and computer scientist by degree, independent game developer by experience, teacher by birth.”

Investigators in Washington, D.C., say the motive in the shooting remains unknown. According to voter registration records, Allen is listed as “no party preference.”

Law enforcement sources tell ABC News they have Allen’s phone and other devices and are waiting on a judge to sign off on a search warrant so they can go through the devices.

Sources also say that, as of right now, it appears Allen went from Los Angeles to Chicago before traveling to Washington, D.C.

What happened at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner?

President Donald Trump posted a video showing agents taking down the suspect, who he said “charged a security checkpoint armed with many weapons.”

“He started running from 50 yards, and he was fast. He was like a blur on tape,” Trump said of the suspect.

In another post on Truth Social, Trump shared photos of the alleged shooter face-down on the ground after being apprehended.

As agents engaged with the suspect, a chaotic scene unfolded inside the Washington Hilton hotel ballroom. Officers in tactical gear with long guns jumped over tables, brandishing their weapons as the president and other dignitaries, such as Vice President JD Vance, were rushed from the stage.

Attendees ducked under their tables.

“It is always shocking when something like this happens,” Trump told reporters at a press briefing from the White House later Saturday night.

The shooting incident took place near the main magnetometer screening area at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, according to the Secret Service.

During the press briefing, Trump said that a Secret Service member was shot, but the bullet hit the agent’s protective vest. The president said he spoke with the agent, and he was in good spirits.

“I told him we love him and respect him, and he’s a very proud guy,” he said.

Saturday was the first correspondents’ dinner that Trump had attended as president. He was scheduled to speak.

The dinner was underway, and Trump, the first lady and other dignitaries were sitting at the main table and White House Correspondents’ Association President Weijia Jiang was chatting with the dinner’s host Oz Pearlman, when some attendees said they heard several loud bangs shortly after 8:30 p.m. ET.

In a social media post, Trump praised the Secret Service for their work.

“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely,” he said.

In a later post, Trump said law enforcement requested attendees leave the premises and the dinner would be rescheduled within 30 days.

“We very much wanted to continue it, because I don’t want to let these sick people, these thugs change the fabric of our lives, change what we do,” Trump told reporters.

Jiang initially told the crowd at the Washington Hilton ballroom that the program would continue however, she later told the crowd that they had to leave.

“I said earlier tonight that journalism is a public service because when there is an emergency, we run to the crisis, not away from it,” she told the crowd.

“And on a night when we are thinking about the freedoms in the First Amendment, we must also think about how fragile they are. I saw all of you reporting, and that’s what we do,” Jiang added.
