Inside Kylie Jenner’s $15M Dream Home 6 Years in the Making

0

Inside Kylie Jenner’s latest real estate chapter.

The “Kardashians” star offered her YouTube subscribers a fresh look at her future “dream house” on Sunday, six years after she bought a $15 million lot in Hidden Hills, California.

“I’m going to go to my construction site,” the 29-year-old makeup mogul told viewers over the weekend. “I have to do some approvals and you’re coming with me. Let’s go.”

Jenner opened the vlog with a peek at the property’s landscaping plans, pointing out lavender bushes, “old, ancient” olive trees and the rose garden she wants because she “just want[s] to be a princess.”

She then admired the “unreal” reclaimed cobblestone driveway before making her way toward what she described as her “beautiful dream Italian home.”

She showed “what [her] floors look like” — “reclaimed gorgeous wood” — before selecting the plaster color she wants “for the main areas” of the residence.

Jenner subsequently filmed the “old fireplace … in pieces” that will go in the entryway, alongside old brick.

She then ventured to her kitchen to display the “beautiful” cabinetry pre-staining treatment.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum’s tour included another fireplace, a gym basement, a spa area and guest bathrooms with “stunning stone” and “a vintage tile … moment.”

Jenner wrapped up with a glimpse of her gravel “sports court,” fountain and pizza oven for future dinner parties and birthdays.

Concluding the social media upload, the businesswoman said, “That is it for all the approvals today and all the newness. I’m so excited. I’ve been working on this for so long, and I’m just ready for it to be done. And to move in.”

Jenner made headlines for purchasing the five-acre property in April 2020, the same month she bought a $36.5 million Holmby Hills, California, compound.

While she initially didn’t plan to document the building experience, she explained to fans, “It’s kind of all over the Internet anyway.”

She has previously shown her Instagram followers the “yummy laundry room” and massive walk-in closet.

Jenner, who also has property in Palm Springs, California, reflected to “Who What Wear” last month on the massive $13.5 million mansion she bought in 2018.

“When I was younger, I got really excited, and I got the craziest house I could in Beverly Hills, and I just kind of went for it,” she explained in the August interview. “I’ve realized that my life got too big, and I said, ‘Yeah, never mind.’”

Jenner noted, “I think I lost control of my life a little bit for a while there.”

Businesswoman Avoids Jail Despite Fifth Drug-Driving Conviction

0

A 30-year-old businesswoman caught driving with drug levels eight times above the legal limit has avoided an immediate prison sentence.

Lucy Newall, of Southdene in Kirkby, received five drug-driving convictions after police stopped and arrested her on multiple occasions over the past three years.

The care company manager had been facing 12 weeks behind bars after admitting being in charge of a vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

However, sentencing her at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on September 3, District Judge Mary Dowrick chose not to jail Newall. Instead, she imposed a 12-month community order requiring her to complete 15 rehabilitation activity days.

The court was told Newall began using the Class B drug, which can cost as little as £2 a gram, during an abusive relationship. Her addiction, magistrates heard, had become so severe at points that it left her bed-bound.

In one instance, Newall ploughed her £30,000 Cupra SUV into a set of railings.

The first arrest was on January 3 this year, when police spotted her sitting in the driver’s seat of a 2025 Peugeot 208 with the engine running about 9.45pm.

They approached the car – parked on Leeds Street in Liverpool – and asked Newall to get out while they searched it.

Officers discovered traces of white powder on a bank card in the centre console and in a snap bag that was seized from the car.

Newall failed a roadside drug test and was taken to a police station where tests showed she had 160 micrograms of ketamine per litre of blood in her system. The legal limit is 20 micrograms.

She was arrested again on March 11, after she crashed a recently registered Cupra Formentor VZ into pedestrian railings in Kirkby.

Officers called to the scene found remnants of white powder around the car’s central console and on a £5 note rolled into a tube in the driver’s footwell.

Newall again failed a roadside drug test and was taken into custody. A blood test showed 160 micrograms of ketamine per litre of blood in her system.

The test also showed the presence of cocaine but below the drug-drive limit.

Newall's lawyer Elizabeth Manning said her drug-driving convictions 'correlate with her drug addiction issues and significant life trauma that she has suffered'

Details of Newall’s previous drug-driving convictions were not disclosed during the hearing. But her lawyer Elizabeth Manning said: ‘They correlate with her drug addiction issues and significant life trauma that she has suffered.’

She told the judge: ‘She was in a traumatic abusive relationship and sought solace in ketamine use. But it spiralled out of control.

‘She did manage at one stage to get it in hand but following the loss of both grandmothers she found herself in the cycle as before, this time more serious, resulting in health problems which meant she was out of work.

‘She is really suffering as a result and has problems with her bladder at the moment. Sometimes she is able to go about her business. Other days, she is bed bound due to the pain and she is seeking help with that.

‘She has put herself in rehab before but has struggled again and she does not want to be in this position. She does not want to be before the court.

‘She desperately wants to be back in work in the care sector.’

District Judge Mary Dowrick told Newall: ‘I have heard about the trauma you have suffered, more recently but also in childhood.

‘I know you have health issues and I can take this into account. More importantly, you pleaded guilty at the first occasion in court and because of these mitigating factors I do think I can step back from a custodial sentence.’

Ketamine is soaring in popularity as an illegal party drug, new figures show, as police seize more of it than amphetamines.

Home Office figures reveal forces recorded 1,845 offences of possessing the veterinary tranquilliser in 2025-26, up 151 per cent from 735 in 2020-21.

By comparison, amphetamine possession has more than halved over the same five years, falling from 2,576 offences to 1,209.

The data will intensify concerns over ketamine becoming a dominant drug among young people despite grave risks – with a single ‘hit’ costing less than a pint of beer.

Celeste Rivas’ Family Backs Death Penalty in D4vd Murder Trial

0

Celeste Rivas’ family says they would back the death penalty for singer D4vd if he is found guilty in connection with her killing.

The 21-year-old artist, whose legal name is David Burke, is expected to stand trial over the April 2025 death of the 14-year-old girl.

In a statement shared with the New York Post, her relatives said: “If the death penalty were activated, it would be perfect for this kind of human being, devoid of feelings and emptiness inside, and without conscience, who only caused pain to our daughter, our family, and the world that supports our precious daughter.”

They added: “But that’s not in our hands, but rather in God’s, and the California justice system.”

Any decision on whether prosecutors pursue capital punishment would rest with Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

Rivas’s dismembered remains were discovered almost exactly one year ago.

D4vd has pleaded not guilty to Rivas’s murder, as well as to charges of child sex abuse and mutilation in connection with her death.

The music artist’s attorneys withdrew from his case last week.

Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter told the judge overseeing the trial that they could no longer represent the singer.

‘This morning the court granted our request to withdraw as counsel and appointed the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, after it was determined David qualified for appointed counsel,’ they said in a statement to TMZ.

‘We continue to support David and his defense against these serious charges,’ the lawyers continued.

‘We are grateful that the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office has taken over the representation and that David has a highly capable and committed team of attorneys and investigators behind him.’

In a statement to the LA Times, LA County Deputy Public Defender Walid Kandeel said: ‘We recognize the loss of life underlying the allegations and extend our sympathies to those who are grieving.

‘At the same time, David Burke is entitled to a defense that takes his circumstances seriously and carefully examines the evidence. We are committed to providing him with that defense.’

TMZ reported earlier this year that the examiner had difficulty determining Rivas’s cause of death due to her body’s late stage of decomposition.

Police say the vehicle where her remains were found in a tow yard was registered to D4vd’s address in Texas.

The star was named a suspect in the killing in November 2025, and arrested in April 2026.

Based on testimony from her friends and family, it is believed Rivas was in a romantic relationship with him at the time of her death.

The victim’s family said she was last seen in spring 2024, when she left her Lake Elsinore home at age 13. They noted that it was not the first time she had run away.

Law enforcement discovered her body in the trunk of the impounded vehicle after reports of an offensive odor.

Prosecutors alleged in a July 2026 news release that the musician murdered Rivas on April 23, 2025 ‘because he feared their illicit sexual relationship would ruin his aspiring career.’

Florida AG Seeks Death Penalty in Rolling Prison Abuse Case

0

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said prosecutors will pursue the death penalty against two adults accused of keeping four young children confined inside the cab of a tractor-trailer for years while subjecting them to sexual abuse.

Keisha Monique Epps, 51, and Tamra Marshon Stewart, 37, face charges including sexual battery, molestation and neglect involving two girls and two boys, Uthmeier said. The children include two 5-year-olds, a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old.

Authorities say Epps and Stewart, described in court records as Epps’ fiancé, had been living with the children in the truck cab. Epps worked as a truck driver and regularly traveled a route between Miami and Atlanta, according to court documents.

“These children were trapped in a rolling prison and abused by the adults who were supposed to protect them,” Uthmeier said.

“We will pursue with everything we have the death penalty. We will seek executions, if you want to come in here [in Florida] and you want to physically molest, abuse, and violate our little kids.”

Florida law allows prosecutors to seek the death penalty for adults convicted of sexual battery against a child younger than 12.

The two girls were sexually abused by Stewart for years, Uthmeier said. When the two boys witnessed sexual abuse and confronted Stewart, he “beat them by punching them in their heads,” reports show.

The children told authorities that they had told Epps about the sexual abuse and saw her witness it. She called one of the children “derogatory names” and continued to leave them alone with Stewart, reports show.

Stewart told investigators he had committed three sexual batteries against one of the girls, according to Uthmeier’s office.

One of the children was found to have an untreated sexually transmitted infection, Uthmeier’s office said.

But the horrors allegedly went far beyond sexual abuse.

The couple confined the children in the truck cab without “time to take showers, use the restroom” or “exercise outside,” investigators wrote in their reports.

“This case is one of, if not the most, horrific that my team has ever had to work on,” Uthmeier said at a news conference in Kissimmee, Florida, on Sept. 1.

Over the years of their imprisonment, the children were forced to “use the bathroom” in cups and paper bags, he said. When making stops, “the adults would go to the restroom,” Uthmeier said. “They might take a shower, but they would leave the kids locked in this rolling dungeon.”

“As a result of the abuse” over the years, he said, the children “suffer severe physical infirmities.”

The children were kept inside the vehicle “for the majority of their days,” court records show.

The children said they hadn’t been “allowed to attend school for approximately five years,” according to an arrest report. A detective on the case reported the children were “walking with an unnatural gait from being confined to the cab.”

They were “fed poorly,” and they never received medical or dental care—even for emergencies, the report shows.

Two of the children suffered untreated burns that left significant scarring, according to Uthmeier’s office.

One of the girls recalled a time she “burned herself badly with cooked noodles.”

“There was a lot of blood,” the girl told investigators.

Neither Stewart nor Epps took her to get medical treatment, she told investigators. Now, she has a “permanent scar” from the burn, court records show.

Stewart was in charge of supervising the children when Epps was sleeping, showering and driving the truck, the children said.

All four shared a bunk in the cab so small that they had to lie “curled up side by side,” reports show.

Stewart is charged with “two counts of sexual battery by a person in familial or custodial authority, two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under 12, two counts of battery of a child by expelling certain fluids or materials, two counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, and two counts of child neglect causing permanent disfigurement,” according to Uthmeier’s office.

Epps is charged with “two counts of sexual battery by a person in familial or custodial authority, two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under 12, two counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, two counts of child neglect causing permanent disfigurement, and four counts of failure to report child abuse.”

Epps and Stewart were arrested on Aug. 6. On Sept. 3, both were held in the Duval County Jail.

The Duval County Office of the Public Defender is representing Stewart, and Epps is represented by Florida’s Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel.

Neither office responded to a request for comment before publication.

Officials Warn Europe Is Losing Ground Against Putin’s Hybrid War

0

European security officials are increasingly alarmed that the continent is falling behind in its efforts to counter Vladimir Putin’s expanding “hybrid” warfare campaign, as Germany opens a sabotage probe after another fire broke out at an electrical substation.

Defence sources cited by the Financial Times said Nato allies in Europe must move quickly to create stronger tools and strategies to blunt what they describe as the Kremlin’s intensifying campaign of disruption against the alliance.

“It is completely clear that we aren’t doing enough to deter sub-Article 5 provocations,” one official told the newspaper, referring to hostile acts that fall below the threshold for Nato’s collective defence clause.

The source added that while Western deterrence has so far been sufficient to prevent Russia from escalating into conventional or nuclear conflict, Europe “really need[s] to rethink” how it responds to hybrid threats.

The warning comes after a blaze damaged a power substation in Berlin on Monday, marking the latest in a series of suspicious incidents affecting critical infrastructure in Germany.

Authorities were investigating whether it was caused by sabotage or a technical fault, German police said.

Meanwhile, police are hunting a suspected militant climate activist accused of a string of attacks on substations across Germany last week that sought to cut supplies from coal-fired power plants.

In the Berlin incident, emergency services were alerted to the blaze in the Moabit area in the early hours.

‘A construction site and part of the substation were burning and were damaged by the fire,’ police said, adding there was no disruption to supply.

They were investigating with the help of the grid operator whether the fire was arson or caused by a technical fault.

Attacks on substations took place last week in the states of North Rhine-Westphalia, in the west, and Brandenburg in the east, which did not cause major blackouts but led to temporary shutdowns of some equipment at power plants.

Police are hunting a 48-year-old who has sent letters claiming responsibility for the acts as a protest against the fossil-fuel industry.

Germany has been hit by a number of attacks on the power grid in recent months, with far-left militants claiming responsibility in some cases.

However, authorities are also on alert for Russia-linked sabotage plots.

Last week, Germany formally blamed Russia for an incident involving an explosive-laden drone at a strategic airport last month.

Nato member Germany, which supports Ukraine in its fight against Russia, has long accused Moscow of targeting it with a campaign of hybrid attacks involving espionage and sabotage – charges denied by Russia.

Germany has for months reported suspicious drone sightings over military and industrial sites, but the Leipzig incident on the night of August 4 raised the alarm as a drone found there carried explosives.

Police used a robot to defuse the device found near a Ukrainian cargo plane, and another drone was reportedly found weeks later near the airport, also with traces of an explosive substance.

The airport in eastern Germany plays a key role in the transport of military goods, including by the German military and Nato allies, and also serves as a base for Ukraine’s Antonov Airlines.

Chancellor Friedrich Merz later said Germany had increasingly ‘found itself in the crosshairs of hybrid attackers’.

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius earlier warned that the Kremlin is particularly focused on his country.

And German MP Roderich Kiesewetter said: ‘We will also probably see the announcement of killings against high representatives of our armaments industry.’

In recent weeks, Russia has launched a new wave of attacks targeting European defence manufacturers, using local criminals to carry out acts of sabotage, according to Western intelligence sources.

Officials believe the attacks have been carefully calibrated to stop short of triggering Article 5, Nato’s mutual defence clause.

‘We are clearly seeing a manifestation of Russia’s increased risk tolerance and recklessness,’ said a senior official from a Nato frontline state, citing ‘unprecedented levels’ of Russian activity.

Speaking to the FT, Keir Giles, associate fellow at Chatham House, added: ‘I don’t think Russia’s objectives and targets [in Europe] have changed.’

Moscow has already been accused of waging a shadow war across Europe

Moscow has already been accused of waging a shadow war across Europe

‘The change is with [us], the victim. The problem is that what counts as Article 5 has a fuzzy boundary,’ said Giles. ‘For as long as that boundary is unset, Russia can keep on expanding it. If we don’t demonstrate a cost, then they will keep on pushing.’

Moscow has already been accused of waging a shadow war across Europe through sabotage, cyber attacks, drones, disinformation and intimidation – tactics designed to cause disruption while staying below the threshold for a military response.

Russian cyber units have targeted critical systems including power plants since at least the mid-2010s.

On the day Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, a cyber attack against the Viasat satellite internet system caused outages across central and eastern Europe. The EU, US and UK later condemned the attack as Russian.

Nordic and Baltic countries have also recently reported increased GPS jamming and spoofing since 2022, affecting civilian aircraft, ships and drones.

British spy chief Anne Keast-Butler has warned that the UK and its allies now occupy ‘a space between peace and war’, with Russian activity stretching ‘from the seabed to cyberspace’.

And security experts have told UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham to be prepared for a ‘direct response’ from Putin following his declaration of Britain’s ‘unwavering’ support for Volodymyr Zelensky’s forces.

Former British Army commander Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon warned: ‘Putin is fighting for his political survival. Russia is building bases specifically to launch drones into Nato territory.

‘The assumption that Putin is too committed to Ukraine to contemplate opening another front is clearly wrong.

‘Russia is stepping up its hybrid war against the West. Britain and her allies are experiencing espionage, sabotage and other malign activities. Much of this activity is never publicised as it is thwarted by our outstanding security services.

‘The grey zone attacks may be a precursor for a direct attack, perhaps in the Baltics or along the Lithuania-Polish border. While Latvia and Estonia present tempting targets.

‘Putin may be bluffing. He may neither have the capability nor the appetite for a wider war. But if there is even a chance that he is preparing to test Nato, Europe cannot afford to discover the answer the hard way.’

Denmark’s Former Queen Margrethe Hospitalised for Third Time This Year

0

Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II has been taken to hospital for the third time this year after doctors discovered a new blood clot in her hip area, along with mild dehydration.

The 86-year-old former monarch, who stepped down from the throne two years ago, was admitted to Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen on September 6. She is expected to stay there for the next several days while she receives treatment and remains under observation.

In a statement, the Danish Royal House said Queen Margrethe is in “good spirits and, given the circumstances, is doing well”.

The unexpected hospital admission means Margrethe will no longer be able to attend the funeral of Norway’s King Harald V on Wednesday, despite earlier plans for her to be present.

Margrethe, who was known for many years as a heavy smoker, remains a widely admired figure in Denmark, credited with gently modernising the Danish monarchy. In recent years, however, the former queen has endured a series of health setbacks.

In May, she was hospitalised after doctors discovered a ‘significant accumulation of blood in the hip area following a fall’.

It came just two weeks after the Danish royal underwent an angioplasty, a medical procedure that opens up closed or narrowed blood vessels, after suffering chest pains.

Margrethe stepped down from the throne in January 2024 due to a major back operation, passing the crown to her son, King Frederik X.

But she still plays a significant role in public life in Denmark. Earlier this year, she chided current monarch Queen Mary after she crouched down to stroke a dog at a royal event.

In the family’s first outing following the death of Mary’s father, John Dalgleish Donaldson, a Scottish-Australian academic, the 54-year-old joined Margrethe’s 86th birthday celebrations at Fredensborg Palace.

The mother-of-four, dressed in a smart, navy suit, stood alongside her husband, King Frederik, Margrethe and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Margrethe’s sister, as they waved to well-wishers gathered outside the palace.

It was at this point that Margrethe’s dog, Tilia, appeared and sat down in front of the royal party. Noticing her, Mary bent down to stroke the dachshund.

According to a translation from Hello, however, it was met with disapproval from Margrethe, who shook her head and said: ‘I don’t think this is the right time for that.’

Her comment led Mary to stop abruptly.

It was reminiscent of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Margrethe’s distant cousin, scolding Prince William in 2016 on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour.

The late monarch was seen tapping William on the arm and gesturing him to stand up as he crouched down to tend to a boisterous Prince George. Close examination of the moment appeared to show Queen Elizabeth saying: ‘Stand up William.’

William rose to his feet, looking rather sheepish over the public telling off from his then 90-year-old grandmother.

At the time of her abdication, Queen Margrethe was the longest-serving monarch in Europe following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.

‘The surgery naturally gave rise to thinking about the future – whether the time had come to leave the responsibility to the next generation,’ she said in her speech.

‘I have decided that now is the right time. On January 14, 2024, 52 years after I succeeded my beloved father, I will step down as Queen of Denmark.

‘I leave the throne to my son, Crown Prince Frederik.’

Born in 1940, Margrethe has, throughout her life, enjoyed broad support from Danes, who are fond of her tactful yet creative personality.

In 2022, the monarch hit the headlines when she removed royal titles from the four children of her younger son Prince Joachim in an effort to downsize and modernise the Danish royal family, as well as to give her grandchildren the chance to shape their own lives free from royal duties.

She enjoyed a close relationship with her third cousin Queen Elizabeth II, both descendants of Queen Victoria, having bonded during several state visits to each other’s countries over the decades – most recently in 2000, when Margrethe was received at Windsor.

The six-feet-tall Margrethe has been one of the most popular public figures in Denmark. She often walked the streets of Copenhagen virtually unescorted and won the admiration of Danes for her warm manners and for her talents as a linguist – beside her native Danish, she spoke four other languages – and as a theatre and film set and costume designer.

She ascended the throne on January 15, 1972, after the death of her father, King Frederik IX.

The eldest of three daughters, she was not destined to become heir presumptive until she entered her teens, when, in 1953, Denmark’s constitution was amended to allow women to inherit the throne.

That followed a referendum in which more than 85 per cent of participants voted to allow female succession.

She married French diplomat Henri Marie Jean André de Laborde de Monpezat, later styled as Prince Henrik, in 1967, with whom she had two sons, Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim. Six years older than her, he died eight years ago at the age 83.

Amanda Seyfried Lists Hollywood Hills Home for $3.2M

Amanda Seyfried is parting ways with a piece of her Los Angeles history, placing her picturesque Hollywood Hills home up for sale.

The 40-year-old Mean Girls actress has listed the three-bedroom, three-bathroom property for $3.195 million, signaling another move away from her former West Coast lifestyle as she continues to embrace a more private life on her farm in upstate New York.

Property records show that Seyfried first bought the Los Angeles home in 2011 for $11.85 million.

Set on a 9,104-square-foot lot, the traditional-style residence offers 2,738 square feet of living space, blending century-old charm with carefully considered modern upgrades.

The Hollywood Hills listing is currently represented by Justin P Huchel of Carolwood Estates.

‘Every detail reflects the care and pride of ownership, blending the home’s original charm with thoughtful modern updates,’ the property’s description reads.

‘Located just steps from Runyon Canyon, this one-of-a-kind retreat offers the best of both worlds-peaceful, resort-like living in the heart of the city.’

Described as a ‘true private oasis,’ the property is surrounded by lush gardens, complete with an outdoor inground pool.

The detached garage has been converted into an at-home gym, offering a ‘versatile bonus space’ for the potential buyer.

A small front porch adds to the charm of the traditional property, with scenic views of the Los Angeles area visible from within the property.

Inside, the home boasts several living and dining areas, a den and a kitchen finished with blue cabinets and modern appliances.

The kitchen then leads into a dining area, where a wooden table sits beneath a light fixture. Floral wallpaper also adds a distinctive touch to another seating area – the main living space even features a cozy fireplace.

The property is located just steps from Runyon Canyon, while remaining tucked away behind its private gates and mature greenery – giving it a resort-like feel in the heart of Los Angeles.

But Seyfried’s decision to sell comes after she made a significant lifestyle change herself.

The actress now primarily lives on a farm in upstate New York, having moved away from Los Angeles in favor of a quieter setting.

She and her husband of nine years actor Thomas Sadoski bought the home there in 2013 so their children – daughter Nina, nine, and son Thomas, five – could go to local schools and grow up outside of the spotlight of their famous parents.

‘I moved upstate long before I had a family. Staying here was the best decision for privacy, peace and nature. It offers a more balanced life than the city does,’ Seyfried previously told Forbes, adding that it was ‘essential for my mental health.’

The family is surrounded by animals at the sprawling estate, with Amanda recently saying her ‘pets keep her balanced.’ That included their beloved dog Finn, who passed away in July 2026.

The new hometown quickly earned a special place in her heart, with Seyfried telling Allure back in 2016 that ‘there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts, a reflexology place.’

‘Even the grocery store is special. It’s the classic small-town grocery. There’s a lot of local things happening. And then I go to the farm stand. Everything you get is absolutely local. But I also have a garden.’

Former US Whiz Kid Braiden Wilson Arrested in Argentina Over Alleged Poppers Stash

BUENOS AIRES — A former Missouri high school valedictorian was arrested at an Argentina airport after customs officers allegedly found a large supply of the party drug known as nitrate “poppers” packed in his suitcase — a haul sources said may rank as the biggest seizure of the substance ever made by customs agents.

Braiden John Wilson, 27, was stopped by Argentine customs officials at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires on Sept. 13, 2024, with roughly half a gallon of butyl nitrate, a chemical compound inhaled for a short-lived euphoric effect.

The previously unreported airport bust surfaced as Wilson, once a standout student in Bismarck High School’s class of 2017, wrapped up a favorable probation agreement last week.

According to court records, the substances — illegal in Argentina and classified in the United States as a “hazardous inhalant” that cannot be sold for human consumption — were divided among 55 vials bearing brand names such as “Rush,” “Gold Rush” and “Jungle Juice.”

“I like to use them socially,” Wilson told authorities following his arrest, the documents state. “I had absolutely no intention of selling them or smuggling them, which is why I did not have them hidden.

“You can buy them in any store and online. Poppers work very quickly –– as soon as you open them, they evaporate, which is why I had several bottles,” he explained.

Wilson also had five iPhones and a stack of cash on him, the docs show. Officials seized the phones and the $1,201 in cash.

The 27-year-old told the agents that he had traveled to Argentina for a friend’s birthday.

Official sources told The Post that it is by far the largest confiscation of poppers by Argentine customs officers in recent years, with most of the 76 seizures in the last two years typically ranging from one to five vials.

Wilson was charged with attempted smuggling of drug contraband and would have faced a three-year suspended prison sentence and strict monitoring if he was found guilty at a trial.

However, the child prodigy, who currently lives in New York City, struck a sweetheart probation deal that ordered him to pay a $1,200 donation to a public children’s hospital in Buenos Aires and $300 in reparations.

Still, Wilson had to be ordered to appear in court on August 11 after forking over just $400.

In yet another sweetheart deal, he reached a new agreement to use the cash seized during his arrest after he argued that he was facing financial hardship.

The court signed off on the deal on August 28.

Butyl nitrate is a fast-acting substance, which, when inhaled, widens blood vessels and produces mild euphoria, dizziness and muscle relaxation.

Its recreational use is believed to be potentially dangerous for those with heart issues, anemia or glaucoma, and reported adverse effects include fainting, loss of vision and damage to the retina.

It wasn’t the first fall from grace for the one-time wunderkind.

Wilson ran into trouble with the law in May of 2017 — the year he graduated as valedictorian — when he was charged with ripping off his former employer, department store chain JCPenney.

The then-teen was accused of stealing over $2,000 through fraudulent returns at the store where he worked in Farmington, Missouri — admitting to investigators that he thought he deserved the cash, Fox 2 Now reported at the time.

“The reason he gave, his indication was that he felt like he was treated poorly by management and that he was entitled to or owed the items he took,” St. Francois County prosecuting attorney Jerrod Mahurin told the outlet.

Wilson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft in May 2018 and was handed a suspended 180-day jail sentence, two years of unsupervised probation, and ordered to pay costs, court records show.

The Post reached out to Wilson to ask for comment but did not hear back.
