Wilson stated in his request for protection from violence that he was “terrified for the safety” of himself, his son, and their newborn daughter, Amya. He felt as if he had been shot if she got her hands on a pistol.

After Wilson had left, Paulat’s mother approached her, but she was distraught. She then used a firearm she owned to shoot two shots into a wall. Her mother departed around 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008, and she called the house and the police.

As a precaution, residents were evacuated from the area. A 12-hour standoff ensued between Paulat and local cops. The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver reportedly acquired a protective order against Paulat, his former girlfriend, according to sources.

Liezl Els is an active mother and a philanthropist. She, along with her husband, Ernie Els, who is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, and Marvin Shanken, who is the Chairman of the Board, established the Els for Autism Foundation.

At the moment, she is both the Managing Director of the Foundation and also serves on the Board of Directors of the organization.

The sprawling 26-acre campus includes an auditorium, a three-green golf course, and two school buildings. It was brought to life through consultation with a multitude of professionals. It includes Cathy Purple Cherry of Annapolis, Maryland-based Purposeful Architecture and Magda Mostafa of the Autism Aspects DesignIndex. Both of these individuals were involved in the design process.

When Liezl Els’ son Ben was given a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, it didn’t take her long to realize that there was a need in the community for a facility that specialized in providing therapy for persons with the illness from every possible angle.

Ernie Els was born on the 17th of October 1969, which makes him 52 years old right now. There is a lack of reliable information regarding Liezl’s age. On the other hand, it does not look like there is a significant gap in age between the two of them.

Samantha and Ben are their two offspring, both of which were born to Liezl and Ernie. Ben Els, who is a member of the Els family, has been diagnosed with the condition that impacts one in every 54 children in the United States.

In 2009, the Els laid the groundwork for what has become a paradigm-shifting charitable endeavor by establishing the Els for Autism Foundation and devoting their time and energy to its development.
