Sung Jinwoo Faces Off with Chihiro: A New Rivalry in Aura Farming

0

The anticipation for an anime adaptation of Kagurabachi is mounting, and this development could spell trouble for the reign of Solo Leveling‘s beloved protagonist, Sung Jinwoo.

Kagurabachi, crafted by Takeru Hokazono, has emerged as a standout among the latest generation of shonen manga. The series follows Chihiro, a determined young man who hones his swordsmanship to exact vengeance and combat those who misuse their power. With a calm and assured demeanor, Chihiro dispatches his foes in a manner reminiscent of Sung Jinwoo’s effortless cool that endeared him to anime fans worldwide.

Until now, Sung Jinwoo has held the crown as the unrivaled master of anime presence and charisma. However, Chihiro’s emergence as a compelling new protagonist suggests that he might be the one to challenge the Shadow Monarch’s dominance in this realm of animated lore.

Up until now, Jinwoo has remained the undisputed king of anime aura farmers, but Chihiro is the one new gen protagonist who presents a real challenge to the Shadow Monarch’s throne.

Kagurabachi’s Chihiro is the Only New-Gen Shonen Hero Who Can Match Sung Jinwoo’s Aura

As of Solo Leveling’s record-breaking second season, Sung Jinwoo has emerged as the greatest aura farmer in modern anime. And there’s a clear reason why.

While there are other heroes who have moments, such as when Goku turns Ultra Instinct or Gojo becomes manic with power, no single protagonist in modern anime maintains the same consistently intimidating aura of dark coldness as Jinwoo. The one exception in new gen shonen might just be Kagurabachi’s Chihiro.

Kagurabachi does have other memorable characters aside from Chihiro, and its story retains the reader’s attention with a unique sense of mystery surrounding the events that led to the creation of the Enchanted Blades, and the dark truth of the nation’s history underlying it all.

But when it all comes down to it, the thing that keeps readers coming back for more (just like with Solo Leveling) is the action. Kagurabachi‘s katana-based power system is everything Demon Slayer’s wished it was, with magically enhanced swords that each bolster a different set of abilities.

At the center of it all is Chihiro, who is consumed by a kind of edgy darkness that the Shonen Dark Trio’s MCs only seemed to touch upon. While he has a strong sense of justice, he still exudes a disconnected, heartless exterior that makes him feel more like an antihero than a straightforward shonen protagonist. It’s a character trait that Sung Jinwoo himself mastered, which is what makes Chihiro and Jinwoo feel so much like distant relatives.

Chihiro is a Stone-Cold Killer Just Like Jinwoo

Chihiro is a unique kind of hero in the shonen pantheon, but he has a lot in common with Sung Jinwoo. That fact alone may help explain why his aura has a similar dramatic bite. For example, both characters are extremely family-oriented, to the point that their entire stories focus on their loved ones.

Sung Jinwoo is willing to face death so frequently as the “Weakest E-Rank Hunter of all Mankind” because of his desire to support his sister and pay for his mother’s hospital bills. Jinwoo isn’t the type to show a lot of emotion, but the moments where he really breaks down in Solo Leveling almost always come in those scenes he shares with family members like his mother or father.

Similarly, Chihiro’s entire journey in Kagurabachi is sparked out of a desire to avenge his father’s death. However, it also goes deeper than that. Chihiro not only wants revenge, he also wants to uphold the ideals that his father had when first creating the Enchanted Blades. Chihiro sees himself as carrying on his father’s mission, providing him with the resolve he needs to cut down any who stand in his path.

That’s also one of the main similarities between Chihiro and Jinwoo: a ready willingness to kill in the name of their personal goals. It’s very rare in shonen for a hero to take this kind of no-nonsense approach to cutting down the villains. While both Jinwoo and Chihiro do morally struggle with the idea of killing other people, they very rarely hesitate when it’s time to take action.

Chihiro Is Such a Subversive Shonen Hero He Would Even Make Sung Jinwoo Proud

Chihiro is truly a product of the next generation of anime heroes, just as Sung Jinwoo is. Both face down death with a cold glare that exudes both confidence and unflinching resolve. These are heroes who subvert traditional shonen archetypes at their root.

While heroes like Naruto and Deku are meant to be relatable in their ability to overcome all odds despite their character flaws, Jinwoo and Chihiro are characters who never have any doubt that they’ll achieve their goals, at whatever cost. That’s part of what gives them both the mystique that makes their auras so impressive.

Kagurabachi hasn’t gotten an official anime announcement just yet, it appears that’s about to change. Shonen Jump is hosting a Jump Press Showcase on April 27 where it has already hinted at a big Kagurabachi announcement taking place. And to top it all off, multiple leakers and insiders have revealed the anime is already in development and will be announced at this event.

Chihiro is truly the one shonen manga hero who can actually give Sung Jinwoo a run for his money when it comes to aura, so his anime debut will undeniably usher in the start of a new era for dark, badass shonen anime protagonists.

The Kagurabachi manga is currently available to read via Viz Media, Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump App. Seasons 1 and 2 of Solo Leveling are streaming now on Crunchyroll.

Duke and Duchess of Sussex Commence Australian Tour with Heartfelt Hospital Visit

0

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have embarked on a meaningful four-day visit to Australia, blending royal duties with personal commitments. Their itinerary began with a heartwarming stop at a children’s hospital, where they spent time with young cancer patients before Meghan volunteered her service at a local homeless shelter.

The couple touched down in Melbourne early Tuesday morning, arriving via a business class Qantas flight from Los Angeles. Notably, their children, Lilibet and Archie, remained at home for this trip.

The Sussexes have emphasized that this visit is ‘privately-funded.’ While in Australia, they are scheduled to attend the Invictus Australia event in Sydney. Additionally, Meghan is set to host the ‘Her Best Life’ retreat at Coogee Beach, with ticket prices for the weekend event starting at over £1,400.

Excitement was palpable among the large crowd that assembled at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne to welcome Harry and Meghan.

Approximately 70 staff members, parents, and young patients eagerly awaited their arrival in the hospital foyer. The couple engaged with the community by visiting the Adolescent Oncology and Rehabilitation ward and participating in a therapeutic garden session.

Later Meghan went on a solo visit to a Melbourne homeless and domestic violence shelter where she served food to residents.

And then the Sussexes went to the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum. When asked if they had a message for the public Down Under, Harry said it was ‘great’ to be there, adding: ‘Thanks for having us back’.

The couple landed in Australia early this morning and their itinerary will include charity and business events in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. But there will apparently be no walkabouts to meet the public.

There is some disquiet because Australian taxpayers are due to foot the bill for police security at some events. Tens of thousands of people have signed a petition demanding they cover all the costs themselves.

It is not known how much Prince Harry and Meghan are being paid for their commercial events  But as they landed in the city, Melburnian Andrew Bridge said the couple’s trip Down Under was clearly about ‘self-promotion’.

Victorian Opposition Leader Jess Wilson said today: ‘Victoria Police are there to provide security and safety for Victorians.

‘So any suggestion that officers are going to be pulled off duty to provide security and protection for Harry and Meghan’s visit is absolutely unacceptable, and the government needs to rule out that this is occurring.’

Libertarian MP David Limbrick added: ‘If people want to spend thousands of dollars on former royals, that’s fine. But Victorian taxpayers should not be on the hook to provide the security of millionaires.’

After arriving in Australia this morning, the couple spoke to children and posed for photographs outside the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne amid surprise from locals.

One parent, Pina Roberts, told the Daily Mail: ‘I just came here and was like, what is going on?’ Anything that acknowledges us (patients and parents at the hospital) is good thing.

‘But I didn’t even know they were coming, so I would wonder why they are actually here.’

Four-year-old patient Lily held up a hand-drawn sign that said: ‘Welcome Harry and Meghan’. She presented a flower to the duchess as they arrived.

Meghan hugged Lily after being presented with the gifts and told her: ‘Oh my gosh, this is so sweet. I love it.’

After being shown Lily’s sign, Harry said: ‘Nice to meet you, Lily. That’s beautiful. How long did it take?’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took part in a garden therapy session with patients at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, smelling plants and flowers.

Asked if he would like to take some gumtree home, Harry, wearing a navy jacket, white shirt and metal bracelets, joked: ‘I would, but I think I’d probably get arrested at some point.’

Meghan, wearing a Karen Gee navy sleeveless dress, asked the patients: ‘Do you find that different stories and memories come out that you weren’t expecting?’

The couple visited wards at the hospital and met patients with eating disorders.

Following the Royal Children’s Hospital visit, the Duchess of Sussex visited a women’s refuge in Melbourne.

Meghan donned an apron and served frittata to people at the centre, run by McAuley Community Services for Women, which supports women and children experiencing family violence, homelessness and related challenges.

After serving several people, the duchess asked ‘is anyone else hungry?’, while looking and smiling at the press and other people gathered in the centre.

Meghan then sat down at a table and joined people eating food, telling them: ‘We landed here this morning so my jet lag hasn’t quite hit yet.’

The centre provides round-the-clock crisis accommodation, refuge services and longer-term housing, alongside programmes focused on recovery, wellbeing and independence.

While greeting crowds at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Duke of Sussex hugged Christina Parkes, who works as an academic at the University of Melbourne.

Ms Parkes, whose 13-year-old daughter Adelaide is a patient at the hospital, said it ‘means an enormous amount’ to have the couple visit Australia.

Speaking before Harry and Meghan arrived, Ms Parkes told the Press Association: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to see the couple. Harry’s grandmother actually opened the hospital originally, and her portrait and his grandfather’s portrait are in the hallway.’

Asked what she would say to the couple, she said: ‘Welcome to Australia, we hope they enjoy their time here.

‘Thank you for taking the time to visit the hospital and see the work that the doctors and nurses are doing.

‘I cannot overstate how important the work is that they do here at the children’s hospital because my daughter wouldn’t be here without them.’

Tragic Discovery: Iron Workers Found 5 Days After Philadelphia Parking Garage Collapse

0

City officials announced on Monday morning that the remains of two ironworkers have been found in the debris of a partially collapsed parking garage in Philadelphia. The tragic incident occurred last Wednesday.

These two individuals, along with a third ironworker who was rescued from the wreckage shortly after the collapse but later succumbed to his injuries, were all part of the Ironworkers 401 union and the Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades. During a news conference, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker expressed her condolences, stating, “To the men and women of Local 401 and to every member of the Philadelphia Building Trades, know that Philadelphia shares in your sorrow, prays for you, and stands in solidarity with you.”

The identities of the three men have not yet been disclosed to the public.

It has been reported that the parking garage was under construction for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. (Source: WTXF)

The parking garage, near 30th Street and Grays Ferry Avenue in South Philadelphia, was under construction at the time of the collapse.

Search and rescue teams pulled one man from the rubble at the time, though he died of his injuries at a hospital later that day. The two others initially remained missing.

The search-and-rescue operation, however, turned into a recovery after search teams determined the two missing individuals had died.

Fire Commissioner Jeffery Thompson said the bodies of the two men were in a stairwell, which he described as a unique architectural feature of the garage.

Technicians and other personnel used various tools to take apart, piece by piece, the area where the bodies were, using shovels, buckets and their own hands, Thompson said, adding that a human remains detection K-9 was also used to find the men.

The chief said crews had to demolish what remained of the parking garage structure to make the site safe enough during the recovery operation.

Parker said a medical examiner was working to determine the cause and manner of their deaths.

The mayor also vowed to get to the bottom of what led to the partial collapse of the parking garage, saying there will be a full, comprehensive and independent investigation.

“We should continue to keep the families and all of the loved ones in prayers,” Parker said. “And we want God to bless the three souls and everyone who has been impacted by this tragedy.”

Trump Mistakes AI-Generated Jesus Image for His Own Doctor Portrait

In an unexpected twist on Monday, President Trump clarified to reporters that a widely-circulated AI-generated image, which seemed to depict him as Jesus Christ, was in fact intended to show him as a doctor engaged in healing. “I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with the Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support,” Trump explained outside of the Oval Office.

“Only the fake news could come up with that one,” Trump commented, addressing the confusion. “I just heard about it, and I said how did they come up with that? It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better and I do make people better,” he added, emphasizing his belief in the image’s intended message.

The image was initially posted by Trump late Sunday, amidst an ongoing verbal exchange with Pope Leo XIV. The artwork portrayed Trump in what looked like religious attire, placing his hand on a sick individual’s head, surrounded by symbols of American patriotism such as the American flag, eagles, and the Statue of Liberty, as well as other celestial figures.

Trump originally posted the image late Sunday amid his war of words with Pope Leo XIV.

The image shows Trump in what appears to be religious garb with his hand on a sick man’s head. In the image, he’s surrounded by his followers, an American flag, eagles and the Statue of Liberty, along with other figures in the sky.

Light casts out from Trump’s hands and the sky, as a woman behind the sick man whom Trump is healing prays.

The image was removed from Trump’s Truth Social account earlier Monday following unusually fierce backlash from a number of the president’s supporters online, who appeared to interpret the image as Trump portraying Jesus.

“Why? Seriously, I cannot understand why he’d post this. Is he looking for a response? Does he actually think this?” conservative political activist Riley Gaines wrote on the social platform X early Monday.

“Either way, two things are true,” she wrote. “1) a little humility would serve him well 2) God shall not be mocked.”

Conservative political commentator Michael Knowles weighed in by saying, “I assume someone has already told him, but it behooves the President both spiritually and politically to delete the picture, no matter the intent.”

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) wrote on X that she was “praying against” the post.

“On Orthodox Easter, President Trump attacked the Pope because the Pope is rightly against Trump’s war in Iran and then he posted this picture of himself as if he is replacing Jesus,” she wrote. “This comes after last week’s post of his evil tirade on Easter and then threatening to kill an entire civilization. I completely denounce this and I’m praying against it!!!”

Is Elon Musk Experiencing the Effects of ‘Ozempic Face’ and ‘Mounjaro Face’?

In 2022, Elon Musk embarked on a mission to lose weight, successfully dropping 30 pounds over several months. While he made some lifestyle adjustments to facilitate this transformation, Musk later disclosed that year that he had turned to GLP-1 medications to aid his efforts. These drugs played a significant role in helping him achieve and maintain his new physique.

However, the rapid weight loss wasn’t without its downsides. Comparing photos from 2021 and 2025, it’s evident that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO exhibits signs of what’s known as “Ozempic face.” His cheeks have developed a sunken appearance, a common effect of the rapid weight loss associated with these medications. Furthermore, his eyes now seem more recessed, and the skin around his mouth has loosened somewhat. Despite these changes, Musk appears content with his leaner look.

In December 2024, Musk posted a photo of himself prepared for the Christmas season, showcasing his weight loss. He humorously captioned the image “Ozempic Santa” in a tweet. However, he later clarified that his caption wasn’t entirely precise, admitting he had some unpleasant experiences with Ozempic. He humorously noted it made him “fart & burp like Barney from the Simpson’s,” as he explained in another tweet. In yet another tweet, he joked that “Mounjaro Santa just doesn’t have the same ring to it.” Despite these hiccups, Musk remains proud of his progress.

In December 2024, Musk shared a photo of himself ready for Christmas to show off his weight loss. “Ozempic Santa,” he captioned the tweet. However, he went on to reveal that his caption wasn’t entirely accurate, as he was among the high-profile figure who had bad experiences with Ozempic. “[It] made me fart & burp like Barney from the Simpson’s,” he tweeted, explaining in another tweet that Mounjaro Santa just “doesn’t have the same ring to it.” Musk seems proud, and that’s what matters.

Musk aimed to incorporate a morning workout into his schedule to boost his fitness further. It’s unclear if he managed to fit exercise into his hectic routine, but he did make some dietary adjustments. “I’ve been fasting periodically & feel healthier,” he shared in an August 2022 tweet. He also revealed that he used the intermittent fasting app, Zero, to keep himself disciplined.

Elon Musk blamed previous weight gain on workaholic lifestyle

Remarkably, Musk’s weight loss seemingly hasn’t curtailed his demanding work habits. “Back to working 7 days a week and sleeping in the office if my little kids are away,” he tweeted in July 2025. Although he continues to work tirelessly, he acknowledges the drawbacks of such a schedule. In an accompanying video, he confessed, “It hurts my brain and my heart,” highlighting the toll of his relentless pace.

Musk wanted to implement a morning workout routine to help him get in better shape. It’s unclear whether he found a way to include exercise into his busy routine, but he made dietary changes. “I’ve been fasting periodically & feel healthier,” he tweeted in August 2022. He also shared he used the intermittent fasting app, Zero, to help him stay on track.

Musk was able to lose weight without apparently putting an end to his workaholic ways. “Back to working 7 days a week and sleeping in the office if my little kids are away,” he tweeted in July 2025. That doesn’t mean he thinks working all the time is healthy. In fact, he accompanied his tweet with a video in which he discussed the effects of his schedule. “It hurts my brain and my heart,” he said.

In a scene where hundreds of staff, patients, journalists, and royal enthusiasts would have gone to great lengths for a snapshot with one of the world’s most recognizable figures, young Joshua found himself with the coveted opportunity.

“That was good. Mummy likes it,” Joshua told Nine.com.au.

“I got a handshake from her,” he shared with excitement.

“Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet Harry.”

His mum added that Joshua did his British-born grandmother proud.

During the couple’s walk through the foyer of the children’s hospital, Harry and Meghan dedicated at least 10 minutes speaking with young patients, dishing out warm hugs and posing for photos.

Meghan stopped and spoke to Adnan and his daughter Enora, a patient at the hospital, for several moments.

Adnan said it was wonderful for Enora to meet a “princess”.

“It’s amazing because she’s always treated like a princess, so to be able to see another princess come into a hospital and greet her before she’s released straight home…. it’s good, very joyful, [she was] really friendly,” he said.

As parents of their own two young children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, Adnan said it took “courage” for Harry and Meghan to visit sick kids.

“It’s been a tough journey, but knowing that she’s going to get better and she has done the surgery and she’s in recovery, now she’s in rehab,” he added.

“By today, hopefully we’ll go home and we’ll put a smile on her face and she can stay home with her siblings.”

Another young patient who has undergone multiple heart surgeries told nine.com.au it was “really nice” to see the Sussexes take the time to speak to him.

“They were really friendly, they had a lot of enthusiasm,” he said.

“We spoke to Meghan… me and Mum just told her I’ve been here since birth.

“I’ve I had 11 holes in my heart when I was born and I had two open heart surgeries here, so meeting them made everything worth it.”

After greeting fans in the foyer, the made making their way into a private part of the hospital to see other patients.

The hospital was opened by Harry’s late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in 1963, and she returned in 2011 after it underwent major renovations.

One nurse, who missed spotting Harry and Meghan because she was seeing patients, told nine.com.au she was also working when the late Queen visited The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne 15 years ago.

Harry’s parents, now-King Charles III and the late Princess Diana, also visited the hospital during their royal tour of Australia in 1985.

Harry and Meghan will spend the next two days in Melbourne, before jetting to Canberra and Sydney.

Convention Venue Owner Faces Pressure Over Facility Use; ADC Accuses Wike of Interference

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is expressing alarm over what it perceives as attempts to thwart its upcoming national convention. Despite securing and paying for a venue, the party is facing obstacles that threaten the event.

On the day before the convention was set to take place, the ADC revealed in a statement that Rainbow Event Centre’s management had communicated that they were under significant pressure to cancel the booking.

The ADC alleges that this pressure originated from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. According to the party, the venue’s owner received warnings that his operational licence might be revoked if the convention proceeded as planned.

Alleged Threats Over Venue Use

The party’s statement conveyed their dismay: “After paying all the required fees and completing preparations for our convention tomorrow, the owner of Rainbow Event Centre has informed us of the pressure from the FCDA and the FCT Minister,” highlighting the precarious situation they now face.

After paying all the required fees and putting finishing touches to preparations for our convention tomorrow, the owner of Rainbow Event Centre has just informed us that he is under pressure from the FCDA and the FCT Minister,” the statement read.

Despite the development, the ADC maintained that it has a valid and binding agreement with the venue and intends to proceed as planned.

But we have already signed a contract with him. We will hold our convention tomorrow as planned at the Rainbow Event Centre,” the party added.

Party Vows to Proceed

Describing the situation as an attempt to suppress political freedom, the ADC warned against what it called growing authoritarian tendencies in the country’s political space.

We will not bow to this creeping tyranny. And definitely not to this petty tyrant,” the statement said, taking a swipe at the FCT administration.

The party reaffirmed its determination, insisting that its movement remains strong and resilient.

ADC is rising, Nigeria is rising,” it concluded.

As of the time of filing this report, neither the FCDA nor the office of the FCT Minister had responded to the allegations.

The ADC had earlier disclosed difficulties in securing alternative venues, including the Moshood Abiola Stadium and Eagle Square, after unsuccessful booking attempts.

Shocking Scandal: Sheriff Sentenced After Wife Illegally Cashes in Over $200K in Disability Fraud

0

An Indiana sheriff and his spouse find themselves embroiled in a scandal after his wife allegedly misappropriated over $200,000 from the Indiana State Police Pension Trust under the guise of disability. Meanwhile, she was posting photos of her escapades on social media.

Sheriff Richard Kelly and his wife, Ashley Kelly, were taken into custody at Marion County Jail on a Friday evening. The charges stem from accusations that Ashley collected six years’ worth of disability checks, despite medical professionals declaring her fit to resume work duties.

The allegations were brought to light in January when two merit deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office accused Ashley of disability fraud, as reported by the Indiana Star.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Ashley’s physicians had assessed her as having full use of her extremities and deemed her capable of employment. They noted she could lift up to 30 pounds, drive for 30 minutes without needing rest, and perform other physical activities without restrictions.

Ashley Kelly, who served as the Clinton County Jail Matron, had previously been an Indiana State Trooper since 2007. She began receiving full disability benefits in 2015, citing an injury from slipping on ice while handling equipment in her patrol car. The unfolding case raises questions about oversight and accountability in the administration of disability benefits.

Ashley claimed that the fall caused a neck injury that kept her from performing her duties, the outlet reported.

Court records obtained by the Star showed that she received a series of payments from 2021 to 2026 totaling $205,398.77.

Ashley’s social media presence further disproved her claim after investigators discovered numerous photos that show she may not have a disability, including picking up her children, riding horses, changing a tire and parasailing.

Videos of her exercising were also found, police told the outlet.

‘Even if Ashley Kelly’s original 2014 injury claim was legitimate, the evidence overwhelmingly shows that she continued to accept disability benefits while knowingly misrepresenting her physical condition,’ a probable cause affidavit obtained by the Star said.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the Kelly’s for comment.

‘These new charges make it clear that public trust has been broken,’ President of the Clinton County Commissioners Jordan Brewer said in a statement to Wish-TV

‘For the good of the sheriff’s office and the people of Clinton County, Sheriff Kelly and Matron Kelly should resign immediately.’

Commissioner Kevin Myers added in a statement to the outlet that the incident strained government resources and interfered with the work to serve residents.

‘This is not about politics. It is about accountability,’ he said. ‘The only path forward is for both Richard and Ashley Kelly to step down.’

Ashley's social media further disproved her claim after investigators discovered numerous photos that show she may not have a disability, including picking up her children, riding horses, changing a tire and parasailing. Ashley is pictured in a photo uploaded on May 9, 2021

The couple were released on an $1,000 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, records show.

The pair were previously ordered to pay $329,360.47 for improper use of jail commissary funds and the costs of a state audit in 2022, for which they are scheduled to appear in court in May on accusations of misconduct and conflict of interest, the outlet reported.

Both pleaded not guilty, as Richard had described the charges as ‘nothing more than a political farce,’ according to Wish-TV.

Ashley is currently running a campaign as candidate to replace her husband as sheriff, with Richard as ‘a vital partner,’ the announcement said.
