Controversy Erupts Over NATO Chief’s Praise for Trump’s Iran Conflict Strategy

0

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is currently enduring a whirlwind of criticism on social media after a notably respectful meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

During his high-profile visit, Rutte lavished the President with compliments, igniting a storm of outrage back in Europe.

Irate European observers quickly turned to X to express their disapproval, labeling Rutte’s actions as ‘sycophantic’ and ‘excessively ingratiating.’

One infuriated commentator expressed disdain, stating that Rutte would never erase ‘the stain of his submission to Trump,’ and another bluntly concluded that ‘Rutte must resign… he panders to Trump incessantly.’

Rutte’s affectionate use of ‘Daddy’ for Trump became widely discussed after their joint appearance last June, although he explained to the Daily Mail that it was due to a ‘miscommunication’ on his part.

During today’s Oval office meeting, Rutte went so far as to present custom data charts designed to flatter Trump and his political legacy.

Standing before presentation boards like a man delivering a corporate pitch, Rutte coined the phrase ‘the Trump trillion’ crediting President Trump helping European allies boost defense spending.

Rutte told the room that Europe and Canada have added roughly $1.2 trillion in defense spending since Trump first entered office, crediting Trump with achieving a feat unmatched since the Eisenhower administration.

The flattery didn’t stop there.

Rutte tied European defense purchases directly to American factories, boasting that half of Europe’s defense industrial output is poured straight into the United States, supporting ‘real jobs, real people’ like those at Trump’s Pennsylvania campaign rallies.

To cap off the gushing display, Rutte looked at the assembled press corps and anointed Trump as not just the President, but the ‘leader of the free world’ taking the necessary leadership role on the global stage.

A visibly pleased Trump welcomed the tidal wave of praise, returning the favor by calling Rutte a ‘great guy, great leader,’ and repeating that ‘everybody respects him.’

But the President still refused to let the rest of the alliance off the hook.

Trump fiercely aired his long-standing grievances, blasting Spain as a ‘horror show’ because they ‘think they’re in for a free ride,’ while taking furious swipes at Italy, Germany, France and the UK.

Trump even made sure to let everyone know that his upcoming attendance at the annual alliance summit was a personal favor to Rutte, stating he ‘would not have gone for most people’ but was making the trip strictly ‘out of respect’ for the chief, while sternly warning that he expects absolute ‘loyalty’ from Europe.

This meeting comes at a crucial moment – just two weeks before NATO’s annual summit kicks off in Ankara, Turkey, and right as the Pentagon reviews whether to slash the US military footprint across Europe.

Trump has been a fierce, long-standing critic of NATO, repeatedly hammering home the fact that hard-pressed American taxpayers shoulder an unfair burden of Europe’s defense costs.

The only thing that European allies could do to make it better, was their ‘loyalty’ Trump said today.

Today marks Rutte’s fifth face-to-face meeting with Trump since the President took back the White House last year.

After their meeting, Rutte spoke with reporters outside the White House insisting he has confidence in Trump’s commitment to NATO.

Local Cancer Patients Receive Thoughtful Care Packages from Community Partners

BLUFFTON, S.C. ( ) — In an uplifting gesture of community support, cancer patients at a Bluffton hospital received special care packages from local partners who aimed to brighten their day on Wednesday.

Blood Cancer United teamed up with AutoNation Subaru Hilton Head for their Subaru Loves to Care program, collaborating with the St. Joseph’s/Candler Bluffton Campus. This initiative aimed to offer comfort and encouragement to those undergoing cancer treatments.

Participants provided custom-made blankets and pillows, along with thoughtful care kits. These kits contained a variety of comforting items: a lunch cooler, a coloring book, fuzzy socks, a silk eye mask, a stress ball, a foldable water bottle, and heartfelt handwritten notes.

Dr. Gary Thomas, who leads the medical oncology department at St. Joseph’s/Candler Bluffton Campus, acknowledges that facing cancer treatment is a difficult experience. Since opening six years ago, the campus has offered Lowcountry residents vital treatment options, enabling patients to remain near their loved ones and support networks during such demanding times.

Verdict Revealed for Friends Convicted in Firefighter’s Death

In the background is the location in Florida where firefighter Christopher Randazzo was discovered face down, lacking shoes, wallet, keys, or phone after being shot (WPLG/YouTube).

Two young men from Florida will spend their entire lives behind bars for the murder of an off-duty firefighter, committed to steal his iPhone, Nike sneakers, and wallet. Witnesses reported that the duo congratulated each other post-crime, celebrating the act with smiles, confirming to each other that they had ‘caught a body.’

“The jury’s decision was both unequivocal and unanimous,” declared the judge during the sentencing of Torrey Holston and Jose Garcia Romero. On Wednesday, both were handed life sentences after being convicted in May for the murder charge.

At the ages of 19 and 20, Holston and Garcia Romero fatally shot Christopher Randazzo, a firefighter from Coral Springs-Parkland, in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea outside a resort, seven years back.

The pair faced trial in May for the lethal robbery that occurred in 2019. Court documents accessed by Law&Crime illustrated how the young men left 39-year-old “firefighter/paramedic” Randazzo face down and without shoes after taking his life over his “red Nike sneakers,” iPhone, and $55 cash in his wallet, in addition to his car keys.

“I can’t believe I caught a body,” Holston boasted after the slaying, according to witness Cheyenne Papach, who was also present and dating an accomplice who was with the two men. The local independent station WPLG covered her testimony.

“He was smiling about it,” Papach recalled about Holston, noting how he and Garcia Romero seemed very pleased over the murder and were bragging about it.

Papach’s boyfriend, Marco Rico, pleaded guilty in 2020 to accessory after the fact and conspiracy charges. He was driving a Nissan Sentra that Holston and Garcia Romero — nicknamed “Six” and “Cobra” — fled in after shooting Randazzo.

“Papach told the detectives that Six and Cobra stole from a guy they found sleeping on some steps, and that she had heard one shot when victim Christopher Randazzo passed away,” a court filing viewed by Law&Crime says.

A witness who knew Holston and Garcia Romero told investigators that they referred to themselves as “real thugs” who “got guns” and weren’t afraid of using them. A police official told The Palm Beach Post after Randazzo was killed, “These kids get all doped up, and I can’t answer why they do what they do.”

Randazzo was found “lying in front of the hotel” where he was killed, according to a woman who found him. “My husband thinks he’s dead,” the woman told a 911 dispatcher.

Before the shooting, Holston described the gun he is accused of using to kill Randazzo as “my military weapon,” according to police. “We can rob him and we can shoot him,” he told Garcia Romero while Rico and Papach were present.

“I think I got him,” Holston said after shooting Randazzo. “I saw him slumped over.”

Holston and Garcia Romero were both charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and criminal conspiracy.

Garcia Romero’s attorney, Jim Lewis, told the local independent television station WPLG in May that an appeal was being weighed. He said trying both men together was a “detriment,” according to WPLG.

“We had always asked to be separate,” Lewis said. “Jose Romero was never alleged to carry a gun in this incident. The co-defendant was, so to some extent, we paid the price.”

FIFA World Cup 2026: Comprehensive Scores and Highlights from June 25 Matches

Ruben Vargas and Johan Manzambi propelled Switzerland to the summit of World Cup Group B on Thursday with a decisive 2-1 victory over Canada. This win also marked a historic moment as the co-hosts secured their place in the knockout rounds for the first time.

As the top contenders clashed in Vancouver, the stakes were high, with both teams aware that a victory would grant them the group’s top spot and potentially an easier path in the knockout stages.

After Vargas and Manzambi netted their second-half goals, Switzerland emerged with a total of seven points, clinching the group’s top position. Although Promise David managed to score for Canada in the last 15 minutes, they still trailed by three points but celebrated advancing to the last 32 for the first time in their World Cup history.

Before this edition, the North Americans had never tasted victory in a World Cup finals match. However, finishing second in their pool, they are set to face the runner-up from Group A on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Switzerland, on the other hand, will face one of the top third-placed teams as their next challenge in the upcoming week.

Bosnia Herzegovina notches victory over Qatar

Bosnia-Herzegovina wrapped up third in Group B thanks to a 3-1 win over Qatar and will face an anxious wait to see if their four points are enough to extend their stay at the World Cup.

On a landmark afternoon for captain Edin Dzeko, who won his 150th cap for Bosnia, his side found the breakthrough their relentless first half pressure deserved when Kerim Alajbegovic produced the sort of moment that can illuminate a World Cup.

Picking up possession on the edge of the area in the 29th minute, he slalomed through a crowd of defenders before dispatching an unstoppable right-footed drive into the top corner.

Bosnia doubled their lead soon after in far less elegant fashion. Sead Kolasinac delivered a deep cross to Dzeko at the back post and, fittingly on his milestone appearance, the veteran striker played a decisive role, volleying the ball back across goal where it ricocheted off a Qatari and bobbled into the net for an own goal that appeared to settle the contest.

Qatar, who had spent almost the entire first half on the back foot, suddenly sprang to life minutes before the break as Hassan Al Haydos tapped home from close range, but the Bosnians always looked the more likely to score again on a sun-drenched afternoon and grabbed a third goal 10 minutes from the end through Ermin Mahmic to wrap up the victory.

Switzerland claims top spot in Group B

Prior to kick-off, Canada midfielder Ismael Kone entered the pitch in a wheelchair after suffering a leg break in Canada’s 6-0 demolition of Qatar last week and was treated to a standing ovation by the spectators at BC Place Vancouver.

Breel Embolo was presented with a golden chance to open the scoring for the Swiss after 10 minutes but could only fire straight at the goalkeeper before Manzambi struck the rebound into the chest of a defender.

Canada’s first big opportunity to break the deadlock arrived just after the half-hour as striker Cyle Larin cut in on his right foot and tried to bend the ball beyond Gregor Kobel.

The Swiss stopper was called into action again shortly before half-time as he dropped down to his right to palm a tame Ali Ahmed effort wide of his near post.

After an entertaining first half, the match sparked into life seconds after the interval as Vargas gave Switzerland lift-off.

A simple ball down the line released Manzambi, whose cross from the right evaded everyone until the 27-year-old popped up in acres of space at the back post and took an excellent first touch before rifling past Maxime Crepeau.

Manzambi then put the cherry on a fine performance as he netted his third of the tournament on 57 minutes, profiting from some poor goalkeeping to squeeze in a right-footed shot after decent hold-up play on the edge of the box by Embolo.

Canada boss Jesse Marsch responded by making three substitutions, including sending on LAFC midfielder Stephen Eustaquio.

Jonathan David, who scored a hat-trick in Canada’s last outing, turned sharply in the Swiss box and fired an effort at goal as the co-hosts tried to get a foot back in the match before the second hydration break, but Nico Elvedi flung himself in the ball’s path.

But moments after the three-minute break, Promise David, who had just entered the field, gave Canada hope as he stretched to turn in a sublime ball from Nathan Saliba.

The goal set up a grandstand finish with a leveller for Canada certain to send them through as group winners.

The Canadians came close from a couple of set-pieces at the match’s climax but Switzerland held on to claim top spot.

Massage Therapist Accused of Sexual Battery Against Client

Compiled by Staff

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Authorities have taken 55-year-old Jason Michael Vigliotti from High Springs into custody, suspecting him of sexually assaulting a massage client during an appointment conducted after normal business hours at a chiropractic office.

According to the victim, speaking with an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy, she had been receiving massages from Vigliotti at Affordable Chiropractic, located at 1112 NW 76th Blvd., for approximately six months. Mostly, these sessions took place when the office was closed, with Vigliotti unlocking it to let her inside.

The victim noted several concerning behaviors before the March 14 incident. She reported that Vigliotti occasionally allowed the drapes to fall, exposing her body, without replacing them, and she was forced to cover herself. He allegedly pulled down her underwear without a valid reason and asked her to remove her bra. Vigliotti reportedly failed to keep any records or charts of her visits and only accepted cash or digital payments. Despite her discomfort and lack of experience with massage practices, she continued her appointments.

On March 14, the victim recalled that Vigliotti deviated from his routine by not inquiring about specific areas needing attention. During the session, he allegedly used a massage gun over her genital area with applied pressure. Unaware that this was inappropriate, she did not react. He then purportedly used “massage butter” on her genitals and touched her inappropriately, leaving her feeling immobilized and unable to respond.

At one point, she said, Vigliotti asked her whether she would go to the police or “handle it independently” if she needed assistance, and when she said she would handle it herself, he said, “Good girl.” She said he again used his hand and the massage gun to touch her in a sexual manner; she later found that she was bleeding.

He also allegedly massaged her nude torso and said, “You can’t tell anyone.” She said he also said “Thank you” over and over as he touched her sexually. She said he told her at one point that elderly women in the Villages used to “pay extra” for similar sexual acts, and he said several times, “Whatever happens here stays here.”

The victim said the “massage” lasted for over two hours, and when she left, he said she didn’t need to pay for the massage, thanked her again, and stressed that it was important that nobody should find out what had happened during the session.

The detective spoke to a friend of the victim’s who had spoken to the victim right after the incident; the friend said Vigliotti had previously worked for her, and she’d had two complaints that he did not properly secure the drapes over the client’s body. She said one client complained that Vigliotti had touched her in a sexual manner; she said the drapes should never be removed or taken away in the way described by the victim and called this “severe malpractice.”

Post Miranda, Vigliotti reportedly declined to speak with the detective.

Vigliotti has been charged with sexual battery. He has no local criminal history, and Judge Meshon Rawls ordered him held without bail pending a hearing on a motion from the State Attorney’s Office to hold him without bail until trial; if the judge denies the motion, bail will be set at that hearing.

ASO released a statement that said detectives have reason to believe this was not an isolated incident: “If you or someone you know had an encounter with Jason Vigliotti that involved inappropriate conduct during a massage session, you are encouraged to contact Detective C. Bierman at 352-367-4082 or cbierman@acso.us. You will be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.”

Jacob Misiorowski Emerges as Leading NL Cy Young Contender During Brewers’ Impressive Streak

0

The legend surrounding “The Miz” continues to flourish and capture attention.

Jacob Misiorowski, once known as an exciting young talent, is now the centerpiece of the National League Cy Young conversation. The Milwaukee Brewers’ star pitcher has crafted a remarkable story with his overpowering performances on the mound, establishing himself as among the most dominant forces in baseball today.

After a blistering start to the season, Misiorowski finds himself at the forefront of the National League Cy Young odds, propelled by his ability to overpower opponents with his fiery, triple-digit fastballs. His early-season performances set a new standard, catapulting him to the top of various statistical categories.

As of Wednesday’s games, Misiorowski boasts a major league-leading 1.45 ERA and has amassed an impressive 138 strikeouts—outpacing any other pitcher by a stunning margin of 17.

The accolades don’t stop there. Misiorowski is also the top performer across the entirety of Major League Baseball in several crucial pitching metrics. He leads in fielding independent pitching with a 1.66 mark, boasts a WHIP of 0.753, and has allowed only 4.5 hits and 0.4 homers per nine innings. As the season nears its midpoint, these accomplishments are building an impressive case for Cy Young consideration.

Earlier this month, the flame-throwing right-hander tossed one of the best outings in recent MLB history, punching out 15 Phillies in a complete game shutout while allowing only one baserunner – a single off the bat of Kyle Schwarber.

That dominance has now made him the clear front-runner in the Cy Young race.

Misiorowski is now an odds-on favorite to win the award at DraftKings Sportsbook, sitting at -160 heading into Friday’s start against the Cubs, a massive jump for a pitcher who entered the season as one of baseball’s most electric but still largely unproven young arms.

Arby’s Manager Faces Felony Charge After Customer Alleges Contaminated Food Led to Herpes

0

An unsettling incident at an Arby’s in Oklahoma has landed a former manager in legal hot water. Authorities have charged the manager with a felony for allegedly contaminating a customer’s meal. Disturbingly, the affected customer claims the act led to a herpes infection.

Amanda Hendricks, who once managed the Arby’s location in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, is facing charges for felony poisoning with the intent to harm. This charge follows a thorough investigation into events from March, during which customer Jennica Church reportedly became the unwitting victim, as per court documents referenced by local media.

“I used to love Arby’s — but not anymore,” said Jennica Church in an interview with KJRH.

Supporting documentation, as outlined by the police, includes surveillance footage allegedly depicting Hendricks spitting into the sandwiches she was assembling for Church. In a related civil lawsuit, Church contends that Hendricks was suffering from an active herpes outbreak at the time and subsequently alleges that Church contracted HSV-1 after consuming the tainted meal.

Church told KJRH that she stopped at the restaurant after a late bartending shift in March and noticed her order was taking longer than expected.

“It was taking a little bit of time,” Church told the station. “I thought they were mad at me because it was about to close.”

According to KJRH, Church said she had a minor history with Hendricks but nothing significant.

On the night of the alleged incident, Church said she ate one sandwich while pulling out of the Arby’s parking lot and brought the remaining food home, where it was shared with her husband and a relative receiving hospice care.

According to the lawsuit, Church later developed a lesion on her lip and eventually tested positive for HSV-1.

Local police launched an investigation into the incident after receiving information from another Arby’s employee who alleged a co-worker had spat into a customer’s order, according to court records cited by local media.

Investigators obtained surveillance video from the restaurant and concluded it showed Hendricks spitting into food being prepared for Church, according to an affidavit cited by KJRH and KXII. Police say the surveillance appeared to show Hendricks lowering her head toward sandwich ingredients before saliva fell onto the food.

Hendricks was later charged with felony poisoning with intent to injure. She is being held in McCurtain County Jail, according to Oklahoma outlet KXII.

Church’s lawsuit alleges Hendricks knowingly worked while experiencing an active herpes outbreak and claims Arby’s restaurant operators allowed her to remain working despite having visible symptoms.

Arby’s did not immediately respond to News Media’s request for comment.

Unveiling the Myth: Does Sun Exposure Really Affect Your Botox Results?

0

As the summer season sets in, many have deferred their Botox appointments due to concerns about how the treatments might hold up in the sweltering heat. However, medical professionals are eager to dispel this lingering myth once and for all.

Within the beauty industry, it’s long been rumored that cosmetic injections are at risk of melting during summer, fostering the mistaken belief that high temperatures can break down the injectable solution.

Social media, particularly TikTok, has only amplified these claims, with users often alleging their Botox treatments were compromised after outdoor activities.

Yet, doctors are now debunking this theory, clarifying that it’s based on misinformation.

“Warm weather does not inherently alter the effectiveness of Botox once it’s been administered correctly,” asserts Dr. Melanie Palm, a board–certified dermatologist, in a conversation with the Daily Mail.

‘Botox and other neuromodulators work at the neuromuscular junction, where they temporarily quiet the muscle activity that creates dynamic lines,’ she said.

‘The outside temperature is not going to ‘melt’ the product or make it behave differently in the skin.’

Board–certified plastic surgeon Dr Rian Maercks of the Miami’s Maercks Institute agreed.

Summer is finally here - and if you've been putting off your Botox refresh because you're worried about how it will fare during the hot weather, doctors are finally putting the myth to bed (stock image)

Summer is finally here – and if you’ve been putting off your Botox refresh because you’re worried about how it will fare during the hot weather, doctors are finally putting the myth to bed (stock image)

‘The toxin itself is placed into the muscle and begins binding to nerve endings within hours. Once it’s there, normal outdoor temperatures don’t “melt” it or deactivate it,’ Dr Maercks told the Daily Mail.

‘The bigger issue is that people tend to be more physically active during the summer,’ he shared.

‘Increased exercise, travel, outdoor activities, and sun exposure may indirectly influence how patients perceive their results, but heat itself is not reducing Botox effectiveness.’

For those who may be unfamiliar, Botox, short for ‘botulinum toxin,’ is an injection made from neurotoxins.

It works to weaken the muscles in the face or other parts of the body, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Not only can it be used to smooth and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but it can also be used to treat migraines and other plights – and it is incredibly common in Hollywood, with stars like Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen confessing to the injections.

Oftentimes, patients get injections every three to four months, which means that it’s something that is done year–round.

However, there may be one benefit to getting the injections around the summer months.

Not only can Botox be used to smooth and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but it can also be used to treat migraines and other plights - and it's incredibly common in Hollywood, with stars like Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen confessing to the injections

‘One interesting thing patients may notice in warmer months is actually less sweating in the treated areas,’ Dr Palm told the Daily Mail.

‘Botox and other neuromodulators can reduce activity in eccrine glands, which are the sweat glands responsible for sweat production,’ the doctor shared.

‘So patients may be pleasantly surprised that they have less sweating on the forehead or other treated areas of the face during hot weather,’ she said.

The doctor added that some patients like to schedule their treatments around big events like weddings, vacations or the holidays.

‘Summer can actually be a very reasonable time to treat, particularly for patients who notice they are squinting more in bright sun or who appreciate the added benefit of less sweating in treated areas like the forehead,’ she said.

But like any other cosmetic treatment, there are important aftercare precautions to take – and some of them do include avoiding activities like sweating in a sauna or going to a hot yoga class.

‘I recommend patients skip strenuous workouts, hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and prolonged direct sun exposure that day,’ Dr Palm said.

‘I also tell them not to rub or massage the treated area, and to be gentle if they are applying skincare or makeup,’ she said.

‘Patients can still go about their day, but I would keep it low–key: stay cool, hydrate, wear a broad–spectrum sunscreen, and avoid anything that causes significant flushing or sweating right after the appointment,’ she said.

Dr Maercks also added that for the first several hours after treatment, patients should avoid bending over or doing any activity that ‘substantially increases blood flow to the face.’

Like Dr Palm, he also recommends staying out of the saunas or going for a hot workout.

‘This isn’t because heat destroys Botox, but because excessive vasodilation immediately after treatment may increase swelling or bruising,’ he said.

However, at the end of the day, it’s important to keep in mind that Botox isn’t the ultimate fix for facial aging.

‘It is an excellent treatment for dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle activity, but it does not lift descended tissues or restore facial structure,’ Dr Maercks said.

‘Patients often expect Botox to correct changes that are actually caused by ligament laxity, volume descent, and structural aging,’ he said.

‘Understanding that distinction leads to much happier patients and more natural long–term outcomes.’

Cesc Fabregas Eyes Chelsea Talent for Como as Xabi Alonso Sways Marco Palestra Away from Inter Milan: Transfer Insights

0

Once again, we find ourselves in the midst of the transfer window. Open until September 1, this period promises to be bustling as clubs strive to secure key acquisitions before the upcoming season kicks off. In collaboration with Simon Jones and the Daily Mail Sport team, let’s delve into today’s top stories…

Fabregas Eyes Chalobah for Como

Cesc Fabregas, now at the helm of Italian club Como, is pushing forward with efforts to bring Chelsea and England defender Trevoh Chalobah into the fold.

Trevoh Chalobah could be heading to Italy with Cesc Fabregas's Como showing an interest

Trevoh Chalobah may soon find himself in Italy, with Cesc Fabregas’s Como among those interested in securing his talents.

Meanwhile, Chalobah is on the radar of several clubs, including Inter Milan and other Premier League teams, as uncertainty lingers around Wesley Fofana’s next move.

Chalobah was a late call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad after Tino Livramento withdrew with a calf injury.

Como made enquiries last week and are now willing to make an offer to test the water for the former Crystal Palace defender.

Derry prospect Liam Kelly on English clubs’ radar

Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Brighton are taking a look at Derry City prospect Liam Kelly.

Kelly became Derry City’s youngest-ever player in a competitive fixture when he was introduced as a substitute for James McClean in Monday’s 1-1 Premier Division draw against leaders Shamrock Rovers – aged just 15.

Kelly’s first League of Ireland appearance came in the wake of him collecting his Under-16 and Under-17 Northern Ireland caps from Aaron Hughes, formerly of Newcastle, who is now Technical Director at the Irish FA, last week.

The midfielder has been invited to train with the Premier League sides who have been following his progress

Spurs’ busy summer continues

Tottenham have signed goalkeeper Martin Dubravka after his contract expired at Burnley.

Dubravka, 37, turned down an offer from Wolves and Saudi Arabia to stay in the Premier League and said: ‘It’s an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experience for me and my family. I’m looking forward to it.

Martin Dubravka was a mainstay for Burnley last season and has now joined Tottenham

‘Everything moved pretty quickly and I’m really happy to be here. I’ve loved watching Roberto (De Zerbi)’s teams over the years and know all about his style, vision and the fantastic fans here.

‘Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get started.’

Tottenham still expect to sell Vicario back to Italy, with Antonin Kinsky likely to be number one next season under Roberto De Zerbi.

Spurs remain in talks over Mateus Fernandes at West Ham and have also checked on Crysencio Summerville, who is currently away at the World Cup with the Netherlands, as part of their plans to sign two wingers this summer.

Manor Solomon is expected to leave this summer after three successive loan spells away from the club and Randal Kolo Muani has returned to Paris Saint-Germain following the end of his loan.

Kolo Muani has interest from Juventus, but the Italians may be priced out of a move as it stands. Juve are also interested in Vicario but face competition from Napoli.

They will go back with an improved offer for Sandro Tonali and are maintaining talks with Manchester City over Savinho.

Leeds confirm Wilson

Leeds have won the race to sign Harry Wilson on a free transfer. The Wales forward is set to leave Fulham when his contract expires at the end of the month.

Aston Villa, Benfica and Everton were among the other interested clubs.

The 29-year-old almost joined Leeds on Deadline Day last summer only for the move to collapse at the last minute.

As well as Wilson, Leeds have been exploring a move for Julian Brandt, who is set to leave Borussia Dortmund as a free agent and are in talks with Southampton for midfielder Shea Charles after their initial £20m offer was rejected.

Vitek targeted by newly-promoted clubs

Hull City are among the clubs circling Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek.

Daily Mail Sport understands that the Tigers are among several Premier League clubs interested in Vitek, alongside fellow promoted sides Coventry City and Ipswich Town.
