Rhapsody Of Realities 13 June 2026: He Brought Us Out To Bring Us In

Rhapsody Of Realities 13 June 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): He Brought Us Out To Bring Us In

TOPIC: He Brought Us Out To Bring Us In (Rhapsody of Realities 13 June 2026)

And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers (Deuteronomy 6:23).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

There’s always divine intentionality behind God’s actions. When He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, it wasn’t to abandon them in the wilderness. The exodus or “coming out” of Egypt was never the end goal; it was the pathway to their inheritance. The “bringing in” was the ultimate purpose. His purpose for bringing them out was to take them in!

This foreshadows what God accomplished for you in Christ Jesus. Salvation is far more than deliverance from sin; it’s the entrance into righteousness. It’s induction into liberty and dominion. Colossians 1:12-13 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father…Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”

Notice He didn’t bring you out of darkness and leave you at the mercy of Satan and the circumstances of life; rather, He brought you into His marvelous light, into a life of ever-increasing glory and unending victories. So, it’s not enough to celebrate that He brought you out of sin or out of darkness; the real deal is where He brought you into, where you are now.

He brought you out of pain, sickness, disease and infirmities that He might bring you into health. He brought you out of poverty that He might bring you into wealth. In Acts 26:17-18, we see this divine pattern again; it says, “Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God….”

He emphasizes the transition into something higher, a divine relocation. He’s brought you into Himself; you’re in Him now. You live in the realm of divine authority, love, glory and power. Therefore, reign and rule in righteousness, dominating the forces of this world. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

I live in righteousness, health, abundance, wisdom and dominion. I’m in Christ, and I’ve embraced my inheritance in Him. I reign in life, fully aware of my translation into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. Thank you heavenly Father, for the redemptive work of Christ and the glorious life it has ushered me into, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Iconic WeHo Bistro Shuts Down Amid Vermin Infestation: What This Means for West Hollywood

0

A well-known bistro in West Hollywood has temporarily shut its doors following a vermin infestation, as reported by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Officials from LA County Public Health informed The California Post that during a recent inspection, five live cockroaches were discovered in the kitchen of WeHo Bistro, with additional dead roaches found in the bar and dry goods storage areas.

During the inspection, WeHo Bistro was cited for two major violations, one directly related to the presence of vermin, along with one minor infraction.

The restaurant, renowned for its “casual French flair and inspiration,” was closed on Wednesday and has been categorized under the “RESTAURANT (31-60) SEATS HIGH RISK” classification, according to the notice.

The bistro received an 11-point deduction for failing to ensure “No insects, rodents, birds or animals present,” a four-point deduction for “Food contact surfaces: clean and sanitized,” and a two-point deduction for “Proper hot and cold holding temperatures.”

The bistro earned a “C” public health grade for the inspection, the rep said.

A message posted on WeHo Bistro’s website said: “Due to technical difficulties, WeHo Bistro will be closed on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13.”

An Instagram story from the establishment said the place was closed “due to unforeseen circumstances” and was “hoping to welcoming you back on Sunday.”

The bistro is owned by Jeff Douek, who previously told WeHo Online that he wanted a familiar place for his patrons to dine at.

“So my goal was to have a place people want to come to all the time, and to embrace where we were and bring a little life to this corner,” he said.

He said most of his customers are repeat patrons, some of whom remark that they feel like they’re in a different place when they dine there.

“One of the things that I noticed from talking to people here every day is WeHo Bistro reminds them of a place they like,” he said. “Another place than from where they come from, whether it’s Montreal, Paris, New York.”

The California Post reached out to WeHo Bistro for comment.

Colombian Nationals Sentenced to 5 Years for Cocaine Trafficking: A Deep Dive into the Case

0

In Birmingham, Alabama, two men from Colombia have been handed prison sentences for their involvement in cocaine trafficking, as announced by U.S. Attorney Phillip Williams Jr.

Johan Zapata-Valencia and Christian Lugo-Beltran, both 26 years old, received 57-month sentences after pleading guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

The case unfolded on February 6, 2025, when a Calera police officer, on routine patrol, observed suspicious activity at a Chevron gas station. The officer noted that the vehicle, driven by the defendants, departed the Chevron without refueling and proceeded to a Valero gas station across the street to fill up.

Following this unusual behavior, the officer alerted a fellow Calera officer who was stationed on I-65. This second officer then initiated a traffic stop due to an inoperable tag light. Upon requesting identification, it was revealed that neither Zapata-Valencia nor Lugo-Beltran possessed a driver’s license, despite traveling from Los Angeles to Miami. The situation prompted the officer to ask Zapata-Valencia to exit the vehicle. A probable cause search of the car led to the discovery of a suitcase hidden under a blanket in the trunk, which contained 21 individually wrapped bricks of cocaine.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Kicks Off with Excitement Amid Off-Field Controversies

0

In the early hours, dedicated football enthusiasts gathered in sports bars and at watch parties throughout Australia, eager to catch the first match of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Mexico faced off against South Africa, marking the beginning of a tournament that promises both excitement and controversy.

This global event unfolds amidst a backdrop of geopolitical tensions, with conflicts persisting in Ukraine and the Middle East. The tournament has not been without its controversies, notably the United States’ decision to refuse entry visas to a Somali referee and officials from Iran, as well as widespread discontent over steep ticket prices.

However, for the 90-minute duration of the match, plus additional stoppage time, these broader issues were momentarily set aside at Cheers Bar in Sydney’s CBD. The venue was bustling with Mexican supporters, many donning their national team’s green jerseys and enjoying drinks as they watched Mexico secure a 2-0 triumph over South Africa.

Meanwhile, in Mexico City, the tournament’s opening took place at the storied Estadio Azteca, where over 80,000 fans were treated to a vibrant ceremony. The festivities were marked by an array of music, fireworks, and vivid displays of color, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable World Cup.

Thousands of kilometres away in Mexico City, the tournament opened before more than 80,000 fans at the iconic Estadio Azteca with a ceremony filled with music, fireworks and colour.

The opening ceremony and match went off without a hitch despite nearby protests.

On the eve of the tournament, FIFA President Gianni Infantino returned to a message of unity, saying the World Cup could provide a welcome distraction to global events.

“When Iran plays, the stadium will be full and I hope there will be a positive atmosphere because this is football,” he said.

“We want to unite the world.”

But as the action gets underway on the pitch, political and logistical controversies continue to circle the tournament.

The war in the Middle East

Most notable is the war in the Middle East, which began when the US and Israel launched strikes against Iran in February.

For a period, it looked like US President Donald Trump might be preparing to launch strikes on Iran at roughly the same time period as the World Cup’s opener — he threatened to “bomb the s—t out of them“, but backed down on further airstrikes.

There has been doubt for months about whether Iran would play in this year’s tournament, which would make it the first country to play in a World Cup while actively at war with a host nation.

Earlier this year, Iran’s sports minister Ahmad Donyamali said “under no circumstances” could the team play, while US President Donald Trump suggested it wouldn’t be “appropriate that they be there, for their own life and safety”.

Iran now appears set to compete after the US granted visas to players, although some administrative and technical staff have been denied entry.

Infantino cited Iran’s participation in the tournament as evidence of FIFA’s efforts to navigate complex political circumstances and as a demonstration of football’s ability to bring people together.

“People were saying Iran couldn’t come to the World Cup,” he said.

“I promised them they will come.”

Iran will play its first group match against New Zealand at Los Angeles Stadium on Tuesday AEST.

Somali referee denied entry

Somali referee Omar Artan was denied entry to the US after arriving at Miami International Airport from Istanbul ahead of the tournament.

He was detained and ultimately sent back on a return flight to Istanbul after the US said he was inadmissible due to vetting concerns.

Arriving in Mogadishu, Artan was greeted with a hero’s welcome and has now been assigned to officiate the UEFA Super Cup, one of Europe’s highest-profile fixtures, between Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain in August.

Asked about the visa controversy on Thursday, Infantino had a blunt message: “Chill, relax.”

“It is unfortunate what happened to the referee from Somalia,” he said.

“We try, we’ll discuss, we’ll see. Maybe sometimes it’s good as well to chill, relax. We work on everything, we try to resolve everything.

“We are not the kings of the world who can rule over governments and police forces. We are a sports organisation.”

Surging prices

Beyond geopolitics and US border security, the tournament has come under fire from fans for soaring costs, with many lamenting having been priced out.

Much of it is driven by higher accommodation and transport costs, and expensive long-haul flights to North America amid a spike in oil prices due to the war in the Middle East. FIFA’s controversial dynamic pricing model has also been blamed.

Under the new model, ticket prices fluctuate in real time based on supply and demand, rather than being fixed as in previous tournaments.

Last month, Australian fans told SBS News they paid about $700 for tickets for Australia’s group match against the USA.

The cheapest tickets for the sold-out game on FIFA’s official resale platform were listed for about $1,300 when checked by SBS News earlier this month, while the most expensive were an eye-watering $32,000.

Amid the criticism, Infantino argues it reflects the US market.

FIFA has sold more than six million tickets for the tournament, which now has 48 teams, and says demand has exceeded expectations by “a factor of 10 or more”.

“The starting price at $60 is the lowest entry price of any of the American sports in the playoff phases,” Infantino said.

“If you sell it at a lower price point, it would have gone on secondary markets at much higher prices. Every dollar that comes in goes back to the development of football.”

With now 102 matches left to play, it remains to be seen whether football will be the focus of the tournament.

Sen. Kennedy Criticizes Schumer, Platner as Influence of ‘Platner Wing’ Grows

0

The outcome of the Maine Democrat Senate primary has sent a clear message: for many voters, Graham Platner’s controversies are overshadowed by his potential to secure the party’s control of the U.S. Senate. Allegations about Platner, ranging from being a Nazi sympathizer to purportedly abusing women, seem to have been overlooked by a majority of Democrats as they focus on the larger political picture.

Platner does have his staunch supporters among prominent figures in the Senate, such as Senators Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. However, others, notably Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, have been notably reticent, choosing their words carefully when it comes to discussing Platner. Meanwhile, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana has been vocal about his concerns.

This week, Kennedy took to both the Senate floor and a Fox News interview to express his views on what he calls the “Platner wing” of the Democratic Party. He emphasized the influence this faction has gained and cautioned the public about the implications of Platner’s leadership and the values he stands for.

Kennedy has made it a point this week on at least two occasions – one on the Senate floor and one in a Fox News interview – to point out how it’s now the “Platner wing” of the party that controls it, and also to warn folks exactly what that entails and the kind of person Graham Platner is and what he represents.

Gainesville Man Faces Attempted Homicide Charges After Roommate Shooting Incident

0

In a troubling incident in Gainesville, Florida, 29-year-old Al-Jareau Joseph Banks found himself in police custody, facing charges of attempted homicide after allegedly shooting his roommate’s hand.

The events unfolded on the evening of June 11 when Gainesville Police Department officers responded to an emergency call reporting a shooting. The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to his hand, was promptly taken to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services.

Banks and the victim shared a four-bedroom apartment but had only known each other for a few months. According to the victim’s account, tensions flared when he returned home around 4 p.m. with his girlfriend. Upon arrival, what was meant to be a simple greeting with Banks quickly escalated into a heated argument over missing food items.

In a strange twist, the two men initially agreed to settle their dispute with a fight outside, but the confrontation never materialized, and they retreated back indoors. The altercation continued inside the apartment, with the victim stating that he was in the dining room, his girlfriend in the living room, and Banks positioned in the kitchen. The argument persisted, and as the victim reached for his keys, Banks allegedly fired a shot, striking the victim’s hand.

Following the shooting, the victim reportedly sought refuge in his bedroom, while Banks fled the scene through the front door. The incident highlights the volatile nature of conflicts that can arise in shared living situations and underscores the dire consequences that can ensue when tempers flare.

Post Miranda, Banks reportedly said that his canned Spam, macaroni, and other food items were missing, and when he confronted the victim, the victim unlocked a cabinet and showed him the food inside. He said they continued the argument, and the victim challenged him to go outside and fight; he said he went outside, but the victim never followed him. When he went back inside to the kitchen, the victim changed into shorts and entered the dining room area.

Banks reportedly said at first that he saw the victim pull a shiny silver object from his waistband, which he believed to be a knife, but he later changed his story and said he saw the victim pull out a silver firearm with ridges on the slide; he said the victim charged the firearm and held it at his side. He said he feared for his life, fired one shot, and tried to fire a second shot, but his gun jammed. He said he fled to a neighboring apartment and waited for officers to arrive.

The officer reported that at the time of his arrest, Banks had a handgun in a holster.

Inside the apartment, blood spatter reportedly led to the victim’s bedroom. The victim gave consent for a search of his bedroom, and officers reportedly found a black AR-15-style BB gun and a black-and-clear plastic BB gun with an orange barrel. Neither gun matched the description provided by Banks, and Banks reportedly said he had never seen the victim carry a knife or gun in the apartment. He said the victim had once bragged about firearms but had never produced one.

One roommate reportedly said he was in his bedroom and heard the argument before a period of silence, followed by a gunshot.

The victim’s girlfriend reportedly said she did not see what happened, but she heard the gunshot. She said she had never seen the victim carry a gun.

The officer wrote that probable cause existed to charge Banks with attempted homicide because there was no evidence that the victim had a gun and Banks admitted that he had tried to fire a second shot.

Banks has been charged with attempted first-degree homicide. He has no criminal convictions. Judge Susan Miller-Jones ordered him held without bail pending a hearing on a motion from the State Attorney’s Office to hold him without bail until trial; if the judge denies the motion, bail will be set at that hearing.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

History Made: Canada Secures First World Cup Point with Thrilling Draw Against Bosnia

0

Within the confines of the World Cup’s most modest venue, a team with some of the highest aspirations of the tournament took the field.

Canada’s history at the World Cup is far from illustrious. Just four years prior, they joined hosts Qatar in exiting the group stage without a single point. Their only previous appearance in 1986 ended with three losses and not a single goal scored.

Despite this past, the pre-game atmosphere was charged with optimism and anticipation. Although Canada is traditionally a nation of ice hockey and lacrosse, this is considered their footballing ‘golden generation.’ The stakes have never been higher.

When Bosnia & Herzegovina, the tournament’s unlikely contender, scored first through Jovo Lukic’s debut international goal, a wave of anxiety and perhaps misjudgment of Jesse Marsch’s squad swept over Canadian supporters.

Nonetheless, playing in Toronto has been fortuitous for Canada—they have been defeated only once in their last 29 home games since 2023—so they continued to fight with determination.

‘We could see that they were fading and I told them to put their foot on the jugular and go for the goal,’ Marsch said.

There were wild scenes of celebration when Cyle Larin scored the equaliser

Larin's strike in the second half ensured Canada earned their first point at a World Cup

Larin’s strike in the second half ensured Canada earned their first point at a World Cup

Richie Laryea was convinced he’d scored in the second half, only for ex-Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac to clear spectacularly on the line, with the help of the crossbar.

Then it was Promise David, sent on from the bench, who was convinced he’d scored as he saw a header scooped off the line.

Marsch’s style, popularised as ‘Maplepressing’, is high-octane, high tempo stuff and even as Bosnia looked to preserve and protect – a reduction in pace the referee nipped in the bud when he enacted one of the new laws of overturning a throw-in after Kolasinac took more than five seconds to take it – Marsch stuck to his guns and, eventually, reward arrived.

David’s clever flick was turned into the path of fellow substitute striker Cyle Larin, who spun with the grace of a dancer before finishing with finesse to send a whole nation into raptures.

‘I’m disappointed with the first half,’ Marsch added. ‘I felt like we were tentative and we didn’t play as aggressively as we’d like.

‘We’ve got to find a way that when we say we want to be aggressive and we say we want to be intensive, that we actually do it. I told them “we’ve got to learn these lessons and we’ve got to learn them quick”.’

Celebrations spoke of relief; an exorcism of pressure that has been weighing on this group who, to this point, had no World Cup prowess to lean on when the going got tough.

This remains a triumph for a Bosnia side that, by the end, was running on empty.

They weren’t supposed to even be here. They were supposed to lose in Cardiff against Wales – they didn’t. They were supposed to lose to Italy – a side that hugged in celebration when they discovered they would face Bosnia in a World Cup play-off – and they didn’t.

Here in sunny Toronto as the lowest-ranked side in Group B, Bosnia were supposed to lose to Canada. And yet they didn’t lose this one either.

Both will remain confident of progressing but both, too, will reflect on an opportunity missed, particularly Canada.

Jonathan David and Tani Oluwaseyi spurned golden opportunities inside the penalty box in the first half, while those two improbable goal-line clearances from Bosnia will hurt when the dust settles.

But this was footballing history made by Canada; their first ever point at a World Cup. You can anoint a group a golden generation all you like but success is built step by step.

Now it’s over to Marsch and Co to show just how far they can go.

Tragic Discovery: Three Dogs Killed in Brevard County Trailer Incident

COCOA, Fla. – Authorities in Brevard County are delving into a troubling case after discovering three deceased dogs inside a trailer owned by the boyfriend of a woman who suffered a fatal dog attack just last month.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office shared with News 6 that the lifeless dogs were found within the trailer on Thursday at the specified location.

Officials identified the trailer’s owner as Donnell Smith, the boyfriend of the late Jodi Cowan.

The trailer the Brevard County Sheriffs Office says belongs to Donnell Smith, where they removed three dead dogs on Thursday. (Copyright 2026 by WKMG ClickOrlando – All rights reserved.)

The investigation is still ongoing, with deputies planning to perform necropsies on the animals to uncover the cause of death.

When News 6 visited the scene on Friday afternoon, the scent of decomposition was still discernible around the trailer, even after the removal of the dogs.

The discovery comes weeks after Cowan was killed in May in a dog attack near her Cocoa home.

Investigators previously said two dogs attacked the 50-year-old woman. Authorities later arrested 29-year-old Linda Cutler and charged her with manslaughter in connection with Cowan’s death.

As for the three dogs found dead inside the trailer, deputies say the investigation is ongoing. No additional charges have been announced.

Shocking Allegations: Man Allegedly Threatens Lives of Trump and Others, Federal Investigation Launched

0

A Texas resident faces charges for allegedly threatening harm, kidnapping, and even the murder of former President Donald Trump, alongside other individuals, according to federal authorities.

Ronnie “Chip” Austin Jr., aged 56, is accused of one count of making threats against the president and successors, as well as one count of interstate communication with threats to kidnap or injure. These charges were outlined in a four-page indictment issued by the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday, which was subsequently made public on Friday.

Federal prosecutors claim Austin’s alleged threats were communicated via emails sent to unidentified individuals. Between March 16 and May 17 of this year, he purportedly issued a series of explicit, violent threats.

One of the emails allegedly began with, “My life has been threatened by the actions of the CIA and the FBI, and by legal extension, YOU, the President of the USA,” expressing clear hostility. Austin reportedly declared himself “an active threat, a clear and present danger to the President of the USA.”

The complaint further details Austin’s grievances, asserting that numerous national security agencies, including the CIA, FBI, IRS, and even the U.S. Supreme Court, were conspiring against his life and financial well-being.

“Because of the lawbreaking of all of these USA federal entities against me, I can legally defend myself against them,” the cited email goes on. “This means that I, and my delegates and representatives (my supporters) can kill these people in self-defense.”

The charging document, citing the email, also contains a subheading in all-caps and bold letters reading: “PREPARE TO BE ATTACKED.”

The next section of the email reads, at length:

President Trump, I suggest that you order the USA military and/or the National Guard to surround all installations of these government entities to defend them. This will make it easier for me and my delegates and representatives to kill them in my self-defense! If any of these people (that you or anyone else of USA’s federal government orders to defend these installations) takes any actions against me or my supporters, they will be breaking USA federal law and going against the U.S. Constitution. Mr. President, Congress, and Supreme Court, YOU have caused this constitutional crisis!

The second count of the charging document clarifies that Austin made the alleged threats “from the State of Texas to the State of Arizona” in “a communication” containing the aforementioned email “among other material.”

That is, the second allegation wholly reiterates the language said to have been used by the defendant in the first count while suggesting that perhaps something more than an email was sent.

The second count also identifies the targets as “employees of Raytheon and other businesses, members of state and county government in the State of Texas, employees of the Defense Logistics Agency, employees of the United States Air Force, members of Congress, and the President of the United States.”

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas announced the charges in a press release last week.

“This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, to achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and to protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime,” the press release reads.

Austin was arrested on June 4 and is being represented by the Federal Public Defender’s Office, court records show.
