Stream Knicks vs. Spurs Game 4 for Free: Your Ultimate Guide to NBA Finals Live Viewing

Live from the bustling heart of New York, it’s time for Game 4 of the NBA Finals!

The stakes were high in Game 3 for the San Antonio Spurs, even if it wasn’t labeled a must-win. Victor Wembanyama clearly felt the pressure, as he delivered a remarkable performance with 32 points. His teammate, Stephon Castle, not only contributed 23 points but also showcased impressive defense, marking a pivotal moment in his burgeoning career. Their combined efforts led the Spurs to a hard-fought 115-111 victory.

As the series made its way to the iconic Madison Square Garden, the tension was palpable. San Antonio’s defense proved formidable once again, applying enough pressure to restrict the Knicks in the crucial final quarter. A few calls from the referees might have helped—though that’s up for debate. This victory ended New York’s remarkable 13-game playoff winning streak.

On the other side, Jalen Brunson stood out for the Knicks, matching Wembanyama’s 32 points, while OG Anunoby and Josh Hart contributed 28 and 16 points, respectively. Despite the loss, the Knicks maintain a 2-1 lead in the series as they enter tonight’s clash. Game 5 is scheduled to return to San Antonio this Saturday, tipping off at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The question now looms: Can the Knicks bounce back to secure a 3-1 advantage, or will the Spurs level the playing field, sending the series back to Texas tied at two games each? Chilling Dispatch Audio Reveals Intense Manhunt for Penn State Student’s Shooter

0

A Penn State senior tragically lost his life just steps from his Philadelphia residence. The 22-year-old journalism student, Billy Schmidt, was shot and killed after pursuing suspects who reportedly stole his cellphone, only months shy of his graduation.

News Media obtained police dispatch audio that vividly captures the frantic aftermath of the June 6 incident. The recording includes officers discussing the discovery of a shell casing at the scene, providing a description of the suspect, and noting how the alleged shooter turned back to fire before escaping.

The Philadelphia Police Department informed News Media that the details aired over police radio have not yet been verified and stressed that the homicide investigation is still active. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.

“I hope they find these animals and put them in cages for the rest of their lives,” expressed Anna Schmidt, the victim’s grieving sister, in an interview with Fox News’ CB Cotton. “I don’t care how old they are. They deserve to spend the rest of their life in jail for taking away my brother. I don’t think anyone will ever understand this pain that they have caused.”

“He was unarmed. And all this for a phone? It just doesn’t even make sense,” she added.

The dispatch audio reveals the frantic response after the shooting.

“It’s going to be one man shot in the chest,” an officer can be heard reporting in one dispatch transmission.

Minutes later, another transmission provided new details from the scene.

“We have one male shot, one confirmed chest so far,” a dispatcher said, adding that one casing was found in front of the address.

The audio also captures officers relaying witness information about the shooting.

“The offender then turned around and shot the male once in the chest and ran,” an officer said over police radio.

Police confirmed to Fox News the shooter was wearing a black-colored hoodie.

In a later transmission, police described the suspect as a thin-built Black male approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 who was last seen running westbound on DeFord Street.

Anna Schmidt said she believes someone knows who is responsible for her brother’s death.

“I need everyone to help find them because someone knows them,” she said. “Someone has to know who did it. Just bring some peace to my family. I pray every day that they find them.”

According to investigators, Schmidt was walking home after watching the NBA Finals with friends when the robbery unfolded around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Surveillance video previously released by investigators appears to show Schmidt saying, “Give me my phone,” before chasing after the suspects. Additional footage shows a cellphone being thrown before Schmidt runs after the individuals. Moments later, a gunshot rings out.

Responding officers found Schmidt suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead at 1:47 a.m., police said.

Schmidt was a journalism student through Penn State World Campus and was on track to graduate in December.

FIANCÉ OF TEACHER FOUND WITH 20 STAB WOUNDS SUGGESTS WHAT LED TO HER ‘SUICIDE’

“We are heartbroken over the tragic death of William Schmidt and we share our deepest condolences with his family and friends,” Penn State said in a statement.

The city of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Billy’s father, Bill Schmidt, told Cotton he found his son’s cellphone shortly after the shooting and turned it over to investigators.

“I found the phone on 19th,” he said. “I called police after. I didn’t realize I touched it.”

Bill Schmidt said investigators are attempting to recover DNA and fingerprint evidence from the device.

“They’re trying to get DNA, and they have a print on the phone, but they don’t know if it’s mine, Billy’s, or the person who threw it,” he said. “But they’re trying to get DNA off the phone.”

The elder Schmidt described his son as a sports-loving Phillies and Eagles fan who sold baseball cards and was looking forward to graduating from Penn State.

“He loved sports. He was selling baseball cards. He was a senior at Penn State,” Bill Schmidt said. “All he used to do was watch the Phillies and Eagles.”

“He was just a really nice kid. I’m surprised he even went to chase, because he’s not an aggressive kid at all. He’s a wonderful kid.”

The loss remains almost impossible for the family to comprehend.

“I would just tell him how much I love him and miss him, and to come home,” Anna Schmidt said. “He needs to be here.”

Bill Schmidt said investigators are attempting to recover forensic evidence from the device.

The grieving father also called on city leaders to do more to combat violent crime.

“They gotta clean the city up,” he said. “To stop the violence. This can’t happen every day.”

Police have not announced any arrests in the case and continue to ask anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department.

Revitalize Muscle Tone Over 60: 5 Daily Exercises Proven to Outperform Traditional Gym Workouts

0

Build strong and healthy muscles by incorporating these essential exercises into your daily regimen.

Many people credit their fitness success to a consistent gym routine. And indeed, if a method yields results, why change it? However, the flexibility of working out at home—or even while traveling for work—can sometimes offer a more convenient option.

In collaboration with Terry Tateossian, a renowned Founder, Certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach, Trainer, and Nutritionist for Women over 40 at THOR – The House of Rose, we bring you five effective exercises. With her extensive training in women’s health and midlife weight management, Tateossian recommends these exercises for restoring muscle tone more efficiently than traditional gym workouts, particularly for those over 60. The best part? These exercises can be done anywhere, even at the gym if you enjoy the social environment.

It’s worth noting that gym machines often focus on isolating specific muscles. For example, when using a leg press machine, it stabilizes your body by supporting your weight, guiding your movements, and ensuring your spine remains aligned.

Gym machines isolate the muscles. For instance, when you perform leg presses, the machine does all the stabilizing for you. It supports your body weight, guides the path you’re taking, and keeps your spine stable.

“You’re loading a single muscle group in a single plane of motion. That builds force capacity but it does not build the small, deep, integrated stabilizing strength that gives the body the firm appearance most people are looking for,” Tateossian tells us. “In comparison, free movement requires the entire neuromuscular system to participate. For example, a sit-to-stand or squat recruits the quads, glutes, core, foot stabilizers, and the small spinal extensors all at the same time, in the pattern your body actually uses to move through the world. This integrated firing is what visually shows up as muscle quality which is the difference between a body that looks structurally strong and one that looks soft.”

Below, Tateossian breaks down five excellent daily moves to add to your routine to restore muscle tone.

Sit-to-Stands

“Squats or sit-to-stands are the most predictive functional strength exercise after the age of 60. Squats load quads, glutes, and the core in the exact pattern that your body uses dozens of times per day, which is why daily exercise and practicing these daily translates into visible firmness in the thighs and glutes faster than a once a week leg press session in the gym,” Tateossian explains.

  1. Begin seated at the front of a sturdy chair, feet under your knees.
  2. Lean forward just a bit.
  3. Try to stand up without using your knees, hands, or additional support.
  4. Use control to slowly sit back down.
  5. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps, sticking with a 3010 tempo (take 1 second to stand up, don’t pause at the top, lower yourself over 3 seconds, and don’t pause once you’re seated) and rest for 60 seconds between sets.

Wall Pushups

“Wall pushups are fantastic for all the muscles in your upper body such as your chest, triceps, your lats, and all the small stabilizing muscles around the shoulder blade that hold your posture together. Doing these daily is what brings back the ‘tone’ people are looking for in the chest and the back of the arms,” Tateossian says.

  1. Begin standing tall, arms-length away from a wall.
  2. Place your hands shoulder-width apart on the surface.
  3. Engage your core and bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the wall.
  4. Press back up to the starting position, keeping the movement slow and controlled.
  5. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps, sticking with a tempo 3010 and resting for 60 seconds.

Hip Hinges With Arm Reach

“This is the most underrated daily movement in this age category, but it is one of the best to practice daily. It loads the entire posterior chain—the glutes, the hamstrings, the lower back, and the mid back. These areas are part of the body that visibly declines with age and a sedentary pattern. Performing daily hip hinges restores the line from heel to neck and brings stability and strength,” Tateossian shares.

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides.
  2. Press your hips back while maintaining a tall chest.
  3. At the same time, reach your arms overhead.
  4. As you hinge forward, feel a solid stretch in your hamstrings.
  5. Activate your hamstrings and glutes to drive your hips forward and return to the start position.
  6. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps, sticking with a tempo 3010 and resting for 60 seconds.

Heel Raises With Counter Touch

“The calves shrink faster than almost any other muscle group after 60, and they’re the engine of every step that you take,” Tateossian points out. “Daily heel raises restore the lower leg shape that flattens out our 60s and, just as importantly, it helps with circulation and ankle stability.”

  1. Begin standing tall with your feet hip-width apart facing a counter.
  2. Lightly place your hands on the surface.
  3. Slowly press through the balls of your feet to rise onto your toes as high as you’re able to, squeezing your calf muscles at the top.
  4. Use control to lower.
  5. Perform 3 sets of 20 reps, sticking with a tempo 3010 and resting for 60 seconds.

Dead Bug

“This is a great exercise for the deep core and transverse abdominis—the muscles that wrap around the waist like a corset. When people say they want a tighter midsection, this is what they’re talking about. The key is to do them daily, do them slowly, with control and keep whole-body tension,” Tateossian says.

  1. Lie face-up with your arms extended toward the sky and knees lifted and bent to 90 degrees.
  2. Press your lower back into the mattress as you gradually lower your left arm and extend your right leg.
  3. Return to the center.
  4. Then, lower your right arm and left leg.
  5. Continue to alternate.

Karmelo Anthony Fights Back: Launches Appeal Against 35-Year Prison Sentence

0

Karmelo Anthony is challenging his 35-year prison sentence following his conviction for the murder of Austin Metcalf. This development comes as Anthony, now 19, has officially filed an appeal, as confirmed by recent court documents.

Anthony’s appeal was lodged just a day after his sentencing for the fatal stabbing of Metcalf during a track meet in April 2025. Legal documents obtained by TMZ detail this swift move toward contesting the verdict.

Mike Howard, the defense attorney representing Anthony, revealed to the outlet that they had informed the court of their intention to appeal immediately after the trial’s conclusion. “We believe there are several important issues for the appellate courts to consider. An appeal is the next part of the legal process and a right afforded every American,” Howard stated.

In contrast, a source familiar with the Metcalf family’s sentiments shared with TMZ that they are “very happy” with the sentence handed down to Anthony, suggesting a sense of justice served on their part.

Meanwhile, a source close to the Metcalf family told TMZ that they are ‘very happy’ with the sentence Anthony received.

The case has shocked America, especially from a racial standpoint, as Metcalf was white and Anthony is black.

Anthony, who was 17 at the time of the fatal attack, sobbed in court on Tuesday, and his family burst into tears as the judge handed down the verdict.

His mother begged the jury to show him mercy as an audible gasp was heard inside the courtroom when his sentence was handed down hours later.

Throughout the trial, Anthony and his legal team have claimed that he stabbed Metcalf in an act of self-defense after they got into a confrontation during a rain delay at the sporting event.

Metcalf called out Anthony for standing under a tent that did not belong to his school, the Frisco Police Department said.

Anthony had originally faced between five to 99 years in prison for knifing Metcalf, but after the verdict was passed at the Collin County courthouse on Tuesday, prosecutors agreed to consider ‘sudden passion’ as a factor when determining his sentence.

‘Sudden passion’ is a legal term in Texas that allows a criminal to argue they were in an intense emotional state when they committed wrongdoing. It would have reduced Anthony’s murder to a second-degree felony, for which he could have served as little as two years behind bars.

It was then left up to the jury to decide whether to apply the ‘sudden passion’ argument to the case and reduce Anthony’s murder charge or stick to their original verdict.

The jury then spent less than three hours passing its guilty verdict, and another roughly two and a half hours before they handed down their sentence.

Anthony will now have to serve at least half of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.

Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, delivered an emotionally intense victim impact statement after his son’s killer was found guilty.

He demanded that Anthony look at him as he said: ‘You’re going to prison. You can’t even look me in the eyes right now, but you can stab my f***ing son in the heart.’

His grieving father further described the ‘unfiltered rage’ he feels over his son’s death.

‘If you ask me what my son’s death did to me, I would tell you it destroyed the person I used to be. Not changed me, destroyed me,’ Jeff told the court.

He said he forgave Anthony ‘the day it happened’ but did not forgive ‘what you did.’

Jeff said his family was ‘robbed’ of seeing Austin grow up and regretted he wasn’t there to defend his son at the sporting event in April 2025.

‘People think that grief is sadness but it’s not. IT’S RAGE!!! Pure unfiltered rage,’ Jeff shouted as he slammed his fist down.

‘My son’s death didn’t just break my heart,’ he continued, claiming it also destroyed ‘my sense of safety, my faith in people.’

Jeff also struck down arguments that the case was about race – as Anthony is a black teenager and Metcalf was white.

Instead, he argued, the case was about ‘right and wrong.’

‘We’re all humans. We all bleed the same color,’ Jeff noted, before addressing Anthony himself.

Metcalf’s mother, Meghan, and his twin brother, Hunter, also delivered emotional statements.

Hunter, who held his brother in his arms while he bled out that day, started off by telling Anthony: ‘If you could just look me in the eye while I speak, I would really respect that.’

But Anthony kept looking down as Hunter said he wanted ‘everything to be taken’ from him.

‘You took a son, a brother, a friend, and my best friend, from this world,’ Hunter said, getting emotional. ‘You took someone from me who was supposed to be an uncle, godfather to my kids. Now I want everything taken from you.’

Meghan said she was left ‘crushed’ by Austin’s death and seeing the effect it had on Hunter.

‘Seeing my loving son, his identical twin, lose the most important person in his life, it crushes you as a mother,’ she said.

DCLM Daily Manna 11 June 2026 — Get Heavenly Wisdom

DCLM Daily Manna 11 June 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Get Heavenly Wisdom

TOPIC: Get Heavenly Wisdom (DCLM Daily Manna 11 June 2026)

KEY VERSE: But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace – James 3:17,18

TEXT: James 3:14-18 (KJV)

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

Martin Luther once shared a thought-provoking story about two goats that met on a narrow bridge over deep water. With no room to backtrack or fight, one goat decided to lie down, allowing the other to pass safely. The moral here? Strive for peace, even if it means setting aside your own pride, but never compromise your principles. True wisdom is gentle, pure, and considerate, always showing respect for others.

In this passage, James explains his message about the tongue by illustrating what a truly wise person looks like—someone whose wisdom shines through their good deeds. He draws a clear line between earthly and heavenly wisdom, describing the former as rooted in envy, selfish ambition, and deceit. This worldly wisdom is not just unspiritual; it is demonic, creating chaos and all sorts of evil. On the other hand, heavenly wisdom is pure, peace-loving, gentle, approachable, and overflowing with mercy and good deeds. It is impartial and sincere, leading to a rich harvest of righteousness.

The danger of living by worldly wisdom is devastating—it can blind people to its harmful effects, steering them away from God. Those who rely on earthly wisdom often end up justifying negative traits, such as envy, hypocrisy, arrogance, and conflict, mistakenly believing these are necessary for survival. This kind of thinking is spiritually deadly. In our relationships, pursuits in life and career advancements, we need wisdom to navigate challenges that will come our way. Within the church, those who claim to be wise but are driven by an insatiable desire for power create division and inflate their own egos, proving that their so-called wisdom doesn’t come from above.

In contrast, heavenly wisdom is life-giving. It guides those who possess it along the path of salvation, moulding them into portraits of holiness and righteousness. When Scripture tells us, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7), it encourages us to pursue the wisdom from above—wisdom that not only saves but also preserves us for God’s eternal kingdom.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The difference between godly wisdom and worldly wisdom is where they come from.

Rhapsody Of Realities 11 June 2026: Don’t Delay To Apply God’s Word

Rhapsody Of Realities 11 June 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Don’t Delay To Apply God’s Word

TOPIC: Don’t Delay To Apply God’s Word (Rhapsody of Realities 11 June 2026)

…Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

It’s unfortunate that, out of indifference or lack of spiritual discipline, some Christians neglect to confess God’s Word concerning their lives, assuming they can always do so later. But spiritual things don’t work that way.

When you delay to apply God’s Word against the adversary, you create room for his operations to persist. Don’t allow it. Deal with him promptly and decisively, giving him no place. The Scripture is clear: “Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:27).

The instruction in our opening verse is equally clear: “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” That resistance is not for a later time; it is for the very moment he attempts to afflict your body or interfere with your circumstances. You don’t postpone it; you confront it immediately with the Word. To delay is to yield ground, but to act on the Word is to enforce your dominion.

Speak the Word and exercise your faith as the Scripture instructs: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked…and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:16-17).

Refuse to accommodate anything contrary to what God has said about you. This is the life of faith. You respond with the Word at once and align your actions with the truth you have received.

Always remember that Satan is a defeated foe; you’re superior to him. You’ve already overcome him and all his demons. Keep them where they belong—under your feet. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the power of your Word in my life. I respond immediately to every situation with your Word, enforcing my dominion and walking in the reality of all that you’ve made available to me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

James 1:22-25 (KJV)
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Inside the White House: Unveiling the Chaotic Situation Room Response to Epstein’s Crisis

0

WASHINGTON — In a bid to quell the outcry surrounding a Justice Department-FBI memo, President Trump’s chief advisers convened in the White House Situation Room last July. The memo had controversially stated that “no further disclosure” was necessary in the Jeffrey Epstein case, prompting public uproar.

On July 17, key figures such as Vice President JD Vance, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, and then-Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche gathered, along with senior communications officials. FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi participated remotely, as revealed in the upcoming book “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump” by New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.

This assembly occurred 11 days after the DOJ memo sparked significant backlash, even from some of Trump’s allies. The president had attempted to downplay the issue during a cabinet meeting nine days prior, expressing disbelief that interest persisted with, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”

In an attempt to defuse the situation, Vance proposed offering former Fox News host Tucker Carlson an exclusive jailhouse interview with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate, to secure her public declaration of Trump’s innocence.

The vice president advocated for complete transparency to dispel conspiracy theories suggesting that Trump was involved in Epstein’s illicit activities with young women and girls during their association in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Vance’s arguments reportedly did not sway colleagues — though Blanche, Trump’s former defense attorney, ultimately traveled to Florida to interview Maxwell over two days about the case.

The president himself also dropped his opposition to transparency legislation, resulting in the Justice Department’s mass-release of files beginning in December, including some documents containing uncorroborated claims about Trump.

Multiple Trump aides denounced a suggestion by White House counsel David Warrington of granting clemency to Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence.

“Pardoning Maxwell, a trafficker of young girls, would create a huge PR problem,” said communications director Steven Cheung.

“We can’t offer Ghislaine Maxwell anything,” agreed deputy White House Chief of Staff James Blair.

“A, I don’t know why we would. And B, if we give Ghislaine Maxwell any sort of break whatsoever and then she turns around and says nice things about us, or says nice things about us and we give her a break, it will undermine the entire point of her saying good things. That will feed the conspiracy theory, period.”

The summit followed internal Trump administration tensions over the files, with Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino agitating for Bondi to lose her job for suggesting there would be major disclosures, including a possible client list. (Trump ultimately fired Bondi this past April).

“You f—ed this thing up from the start,” Bongino told Bondi the day the memo was released. “The way you’ve been talking about this — that dumb f—ing charade with the Epstein files, the ‘They’re on my desk’ nonsense, all the promises to the folks out there.”

Bongino stormed out of a meeting with Wiles two days later, , according to Haberman and Swan, and had to be persuaded to delay his departure from the administration, which ultimately happened on Jan. 3, 2026.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said that the book excerpt offered further proof that Trump has “been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein.”

“By releasing thousands of pages of documents, cooperating with the House Oversight Committee’s subpoena request, signing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and calling for more investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends, President Trump has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him,” Jackson said.

“Meanwhile, Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries and Stacey Plaskett have yet to explain why they were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender.”

“Regime Change” hits bookstores June 23.

Tragic Tale in Mexico: Pregnant Mother Found Dead, Missing Children Found in Shocking Twist

0

In a significant development, Mexican authorities have apprehended the partner of an Indiana woman whose tragic end came months after she vanished with her seven children, as confirmed by prosecutors on Monday.

The victim, Makala Pendley, a 30-year-old from Indianapolis, was identified following an investigation by officials in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. Her body was discovered near the municipality of Zinacantán. It has been reported by family members that Pendley was six months pregnant at the time she went missing.

During a Facebook Live session on Monday, Chiapas State Prosecutor Jorge Luis Llaven Abarca revealed the arrest of a man named Joseph “N,” who is believed to be Pendley’s partner and the main suspect in this heartbreaking case.

Prosecutor Llaven Abarca stated, “In the coming hours, we will determine his criminal responsibility, and he may be brought to justice. We are committed to pursuing the maximum sentence of 100 years for this heinous act of femicide.”

Makala Pendley, seen in a photo with several of her children, was a devoted mother of seven from Indianapolis. Her life was tragically cut short in Chiapas after her disappearance earlier this year, leaving behind a grieving family and community.

The prosecutor also announced that Pendley’s seven children had been located and placed under government protection. According to Llaven Abarca, the children were in “good health,” and authorities were coordinating with the U.S. Embassy to reunite them with family members.

Pendley and her seven children were reported missing in February after traveling to Mexico. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children issued a missing-person alert after they disappeared from Indianapolis on Feb. 23.

Days before identifying Pendley, Llaven Abarca disclosed during a separate Facebook Live briefing that investigators had recovered the body of a woman in the Elambó Bajo area of Zinacantán.

According to Llaven Abarca, preliminary findings indicated the victim died from a traumatic brain injury caused by blunt-force trauma. Investigators believe the body had been left at the location for between eight and 12 hours before it was discovered.

Indianapolis police previously said the family had been located in Mexico last month and that the children were briefly taken into custody by Mexican authorities before being returned to Pendley.

During Monday’s briefing, Llaven Abarca said authorities learned through coordination with U.S. officials that the suspect allegedly has a criminal history in the United States, including an active arrest warrant in Alaska and an Indianapolis police alert connected to the disappearance of Pendley and the children.

Florida Supreme Court Approves New House Map Favoring Republican Strategy

0

The Florida Supreme Court has cleared the path for Republicans to implement a new congressional map that could potentially secure them up to four additional seats in the upcoming November elections. This decision delivers another setback to Democratic attempts to counteract Republican redistricting strategies.

In a decisive 6-1 ruling, the court opted not to suspend the use of the new map, which was approved by Florida Republicans earlier this year, even as the overall legal battle concerning the map continues in the judicial system.

Currently, Florida’s congressional delegation stands at a 20-8 split in favor of the GOP. However, the newly drawn map could significantly shift this balance, offering Republicans a commanding 24-4 advantage.

This ruling is a blow to Democratic efforts aimed at delaying the map’s implementation ahead of the November elections. It follows a recent Virginia Supreme Court decision that overturned a referendum which could have potentially allowed Democrats to gain up to four seats in Virginia.

FBI Unveils Alarming Antisemitism Case Targeting University of Michigan Activists: Family Threats Revealed

0

On Wednesday, federal prosecutors charged eight individuals linked to the University of Michigan, accusing them of orchestrating a campaign involving threats, vandalism, and intimidation to compel the university and others to sever ties with Israel. Their alleged targets included university officials, law enforcement, local businesses, and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.

Jerome Gorgon, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, addressed the charges with clarity in a formal statement.

The defendants, aged between 21 and 28, comprise current or former students, employees, and affiliates of the University of Michigan. According to the Department of Justice, this campaign began after October 7, 2023, fueled by the defendants’ belief that the university was financially supporting Israel. When their demands for divestment were ignored, they escalated their activities to what they termed “autonomous actions,” which included occupying buildings, vandalizing property, and disrupting campus activities.

Jennifer Runyan of FBI Detroit conveyed the gravity of the situation in her own statement.

The indictment reveals a chilling encrypted chat from May 21, 2024, where Feyock and Korkaya, a medical student at the time, discussed plans to “kill,” “torment,” and “terrorize” their targets and their families. Korkaya specifically mentioned having an entire family on his “hit list” and expressed an intention to become one victim’s doctor to “poison her a— slowly.”

FBI Detroit’s Jennifer Runyan put it plainly in a statement.

“No one has the right to threaten, intimidate, and coerce public officials, law enforcement officers, community institutions, or their families. In the dead of night, masked and hooded defendants allegedly threw noxious chemicals through the windows of families’ homes and taped demand letters to their front doors. At every step they attempted to cover their tracks and delete evidence of their crimes.”

The indictment quotes an encrypted chat from May 21, 2024, in which Feyock and Korkaya, then a medical student, agreed to “kill,” “torment,” and “terrorize” their targets and families. Korkaya said one victim’s “entire family” was on his “hit list,” and separately wrote that he planned to become the victim’s doctor and “poison her a— slowly.”

“We need people following [victim] / get into that house then burn it down.”

Feyock also said they should “get” the kids of two victims.

Prosecutors said the defendants allegedly traveled at night to homes and businesses, defaced them with messages and symbols, broke windows, caulked doors shut, bike-locked entryways, and threw glass jars filled with butyric acid and dye into homes.

The symbols included inverted triangles, which Hamas uses in military videos to mark targets for death, according to the DOJ press release. Prosecutors said the red handprints referenced the Ramallah lynching of 2000. Graffiti included “INTIFADA” and “DIVEST NOW.” The group posted photos of the damage online with warnings: “you cannot hide” and “we only come back stronger”

FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrests early Wednesday in a multi-state operation across Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He said in a statement to Fox News Digital:

“They vandalized property, left threatening messages, and even violently attacked homes while children slept inside.”

Federal Magistrate Judge Anthony Patti ordered the defendants held until a Friday hearing. Outside the courthouse, supporters of the defendants protested the arrests and compared the FBI to the Ku Klux Klan. Inside, prosecutors were describing an alleged campaign involving threats against families, vandalized homes, witness intimidation, and discussions about poisoning victims. One University of Michigan lecturer who came to show solidarity called the charges a First Amendment issue. UM Regent Sarah Hubbard, whose home had been surrounded with mock body bags by protesters in May 2024, saw it differently. She retweeted Patel’s announcement and thanked law enforcement.

The indictment also charges Zainab Hakim and Feyock with witness intimidation. Prosecutors said the two allegedly planned to confront a University of Michigan student they believed might be cooperating with federal authorities.

More Than Just an Idea: Jury Convicts Nine in Antifa ICE Terrorism Trial

According to the DOJ, Hakim warned that the student was “going to send us to federal prison,” while Feyock allegedly said the student “has to be neutralized.”

Sepulveda faces an additional charge of destruction of property to prevent seizure. Prosecutors said he and Zou threw glass jars of blue liquid and food compost through the provost’s home’s window, and spray-painted it with inverted red triangles and “Free Palestine.” When law enforcement later came to execute a search warrant, Sepulveda allegedly wiped his phone and laptop.

Sentencing exposure: up to five years for conspiracy to transmit threats, up to 20 years for witness tampering, and up to five years for destruction of property.

Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. The government has to make its case in court.

What prosecutors laid out Wednesday: family homes targeted at night, broken windows, noxious chemicals, demand letters, threats against children. All of it will now be tested there.
