Leroy Venner, 53, was discovered in a Belmont Drive apartment with critical wounds. He lived close to Newsham Park. He was taken urgently to Aintree Hospital, where he was later declared dead. His last known residence was Princes Road in Toxteth.

He got accused of robbing two individuals and was on the run when he was killed.

The region is the subject of CCTV, forensic, and house-to-house investigations, according to Merseyside Police.

After he neglected to appear for a hearing at Sefton Magistrates’ Court, Bootle, on November 8, the police issued a wanted appeal for him on January 18 of this year. He was given a warrant for his arrest, and Liverpool Crown Court eventually took over the case.

According to court records, he was accused of committing two charges of robbery in connection with occurrences that occurred on November 10 and December 6 of the same year. In the first instance, he was charged with robbing a male victim of his wallet, tobacco, and some cash.

On the second occasion, he got charged with robbing a different male victim of a significant amount of money.

According to Merseyside Police, two males, aged 60 and 43, have been detained and are being interrogated in custody after being apprehended on suspicion of killing Leroy Venner. A postmortem will be performed to determine the cause of death.

About the suspects, including their names, not much is known. As this investigation develops, authorities may disclose information about them.

Jeannette, whose original name is Bernadette Protti, is the killer of Kirsten Costas. She changed her name after being released from prison to start a new life. Police thought Protti had lied after trying to verify her testimony. Finally, Protti wrote her mother a letter in which she provided a full confession after speaking with an FBI agent who informed her that her arrest was about to happen and that they knew she had killed Kirsten.

Latisha Frazier, a teenager was beaten to death by a group of guys on August 2, 2010. When the 18-year-old went missing from Washington, D.C. on August 2, 2010, her family was shocked.

She was supposedly a full-time employee at McDonald’s and was last seen leaving the restaurant, only to vanish. Latisha’s behavior was odd, especially given her reputation as a diligent worker and dependable graduate of Crossland High School.

Latisha, a mother of a child called Diamond, never spent more than 24 hours without contacting her loved ones. So when her family couldn’t reach her, it was the reason for urgency.

Frazier’s family worked hard to find their loved one. They apparently wandered the streets distributing out leaflets, frequently halting passing vehicles, as police went down every lead that fell on their desks, which were few.

Then, almost five months after Latisha vanished, messages started appearing on her Facebook page which was filled with threats.

The unidentified social media user said that Frazier had died and that her ashes might be found in Rock Creek Park.

It wasn’t until the following year that officials discovered she had been killed. Although Latisha’s body was never found, witness evidence proved that she was battered and choked to death.

Brian Gaither, aged 23, was arrested in January 2011 on an unrelated offense. He was, however, the key to solving this mystery after telling authorities that he and many others were involved in Latisha Frazier’s death.

Gaither claims he was with a number of individuals when they allegedly invited Latisha to an apartment. The culprit includes Anneka Nelson (16), Lanee Bell (17), Johnnie A. Sweet (17), Cinthya Proctor (18), and Laurence Hassan (22).

Hassan informed detectives that they planned on “[teaching] her a lesson” since they claimed Latisha stole $900 from Sweet. Sweet encouraged all five of his companions, three young girls, and two men, to beat Frazier, Assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Kavanaugh told.

Five of Sweet’s friends have subsequently pled guilty to crimes related to Frazier’s killing, leaving just Sweet to maintain his innocence in 2013.

Brian Gaither, 25, was sentenced to 32 years in jail in March 2013 after pleading guilty to first-degree murder.

Similarly, Cinthya Proctor and Laurence Kamal Hassan both pled guilty to crimes ranging from second-degree murder to abduction. Hassan received an 18-year prison sentence and Cinthya received a 21-year sentence.

Lanee Bell, the sixth suspect, was freed from jail following her arrest. She subsequently pled guilty to criminal abduction and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Everyone but Johnnie made plea bargains, and Johnnie Sweet was found guilty after a trial. Johnnie was convicted of first-degree criminal murder, first-degree premeditated murder, abduction, and tampering with physical evidence in April 2013.

Johnnie was sentenced to 52 years in jail in August of the same year. According to records, he is still detained at the United States Penitentiary, McCreary in Pine Knot, Kentucky. In 2057, he will be eligible for release.

Latisha apparently yelled out for them to stop, and even after the savage onslaught stopped, two of the men kicked and punched her on occasion.

According to reports, the young mother was still alive when she was bound with tape around her wrists and ankles and placed in a closet with a pillowcase wrapped around her head.

When she was left in the dark, Latisha was believed to be whimpering. No one checked on her until the next day when she was discovered dead.

Hassan stated that the gang agreed to dismember Latisha’s body in a bathtub, but he demanded that the remnants be removed from his property.

So Frazier was dumped in trash behind the house, retrieved by Waste Management, and dumped in a Virginia landfill, where officials think she still lies.

Several search attempts have been carried out, but it was thought a decade ago that she was at least 60 feet below the surface.

Scarlet May, 21, of Washington, DC, is a TikToker with 6.2millions followers. She rose to prominence in 2020 with her funny Deaf Kardashian series which received millions of views.

In the series, she used to play out scenes from the reality program using sassy sign language. In the videos, the Tiktok user dresses up as the famous sisters and signs along to some of the most memorable sequences from the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

She also claimed on her YouTube channel that she began losing her hearing at the age of three. However she has yet to divulge the medical cause for this, and she soon learned to sign.

She now frequently shares her own experiences, makeup videos, style videos, and fitness videos on her channel. And, most recently, she made a video in which she criticizes another TikToker for appearing to mock her in his reaction videos.

May explained that her goal was to demonstrate that people who use sign language also have long nails. 

“I wasn’t surprised at the same time. “I’m used to it,” she said.

“But then a major creator comes on here and throws us back a million steps,” May said. She also added that if it had been any other individual with long nails giving a narrative without needing to sign, they would not be mocked.

“But since I have long nails and had to sign to communicate, he stopped the video after two seconds and didn’t even listen to the tale, and then continued to make fun of me with his dog.”

May went on to criticize PewDiePie for cutting the segment out of his video rather than apologizing to her.

PewDiePie, a Swedish YouTube sensation whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, is being backlashed for reportedly mocking a deaf TikToker in his most recent video.

PewDiePie listened while May delivered a narrative in American Sign Language in the video, which has since been removed but is still available on social media.

However, after only a few seconds, he refused to view the video and stated, “No, I’m not listening to this.”

PewDiePie, who was with his dog, Maya at the time, said that the pug has the “same crazy nails” as May. Kjellberg then appeared to imitate American Sign Language while holding both of Maya’s paws and waving them around.

“Sorry, are my nails bothering you?” Kjellberg added. 

PewDiePie edited the portion out of the video and re-uploaded it to his 111 million subscribers after receiving immediate backlash for “mocking” his fellow social media influencer.

However, he neglected to update the video’s thumbnail, which still included a photo of May. But PewDiePie was too late, as several social media users managed to film and publish the clip.

“So why isn’t anyone talking about Pewdiepie mocking a deaf black woman?” one user asked, after posting the video.

“Pewdiepie ridiculing a deaf TikTok maker for signing in her videos merely because she has long nails…as if the man couldn’t get much worse,” said a second person.

“Honestly, if you still enjoy Pewdiepie, you should grow up.” Not only is he racist, but he’s also reportedly ridiculing a deaf girl on TikTok who uses sign language,” a third person commented.

Scarlet May did not reply quickly to a request for comment. Wednesday afternoon, she posted a video on TikTok with the comment “we all make mistakes, maybe he learns from this.”

“I’ve been attempting to normalize and spread the word that using nails while signing is natural and acceptable,” Scarlet May explained. “But then a major creative comes on here and throws us back a million steps.”

Scarlet May, 21, is a popular TikTok user with over a 6.2million followers. Her videos have average likes of 1 million.
