A Florida Chipotle employee allegedly threatened to kill his manager and threw a knife and glass bottles at him after being told to clock out, authorities said.

Levar Walker, 20, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with misdemeanor charges of battery, assault, and criminal mischief, according to Miami-Dade County court records reviewed by Law&Crime. He remains in the custody of Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Walker was working at the Chipotle restaurant at 6290 South Dixie Highway in South Miami on Thursday when his manager told him to clock out. The arrest report does not state why the manager gave him that instruction.

According to the manager’s account cited in the arrest report, Walker became angry and began throwing food and kitchen items onto the floor. He then allegedly picked up a knife and threw it at the manager, missing him, police said.

The incident reportedly continued when Walker picked up a glass bottle from the kitchen and threw it at his manager. The bottle hit the restaurant’s grill, leaving a dent, according to court documents.

Authorities allege that Walker continued the confrontation.

Walker reportedly threw a second glass bottle, striking the manager in the left shoulder. A witness told police she saw the attack and heard Walker threaten to kill his manager, according to the arrest report.

A second witness said Walker stated that he was going to beat up his manager. In all, three glass bottles were allegedly thrown. The damage to the kitchen grill was estimated at approximately $150.

Authorities did not report any injuries to the manager or other people at the restaurant.

Walker was arrested and booked into jail. His bond was set at $6,400.

He appeared in court for a first hearing on Friday. It remains unclear when he is scheduled to return.
