F1 Star Charles Leclerc and Wife Alexandra Welcome Their First Child

Formula One driver Charles Leclerc and his wife, Alexandra, have welcomed their first child.

The couple, who married in Monaco in February, announced the arrival of their daughter Bianca in a social media post.

In a joint Instagram publication, they shared a photograph showing Bianca’s wrapped legs and feet. The accompanying caption read: “Bianca. 3.11.26,” followed by a heart emoji.

Fans quickly filled the comments with messages of congratulations for the Formula One couple.

Leclerc returned to Monaco after Sunday’s Mexican Grand Prix so he could be present for the birth.

The Ferrari driver is expected to travel to Brazil in the coming days for this weekend’s race in São Paulo. However, reports in Italy have suggested that Ferrari reserve driver Dino Beganovic could deputise during first practice.

Bianca was born eight months after the 29-year-old Ferrari driver and 25-year-old art historian Alexandra Saint Mleux married in his home country, just one week before the 2026 season began.

Their miniature dachshund, Leo, attended the picturesque ceremony, while the newlyweds were later filmed leaving in a vintage Ferrari.

After the wedding, Leclerc shared a video on social media featuring glimpses of the celebrations, including Alexandra’s dress, the couple exchanging rings and Leo joining them for the occasion.

The footage also captured guests congratulating the newlyweds before another clip showed the pair driving away together.

The car was a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, valued at approximately £9million, with the nine-time Grand Prix winner behind the wheel.

The model is among the world’s most valuable classic Ferraris, thanks in large part to its racing pedigree and importance to the Italian marque’s history.

Leclerc also wrote on X: “A day we’ll forever remember. Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones.”

Before Bianca’s birth, Leclerc had spoken publicly about his ambition to build a family while continuing his Formula One career.

Last year, he said: “I have more personal aspirations, like starting a family, which I can achieve by continuing to chase the world title.”

Alexandra and Leo are frequent sights alongside Leclerc at races, although former British driver David Coulthard criticised the family’s paddock presence in September.

Leclerc is currently fifth in the drivers’ championship, and Coulthard suggested that his conduct around the paddock was “too much.”

“He’s good looking, he’s got the family, a baby on the way, a dog in the paddock,” Coulthard said on the Up To Speed podcast. “My opinion is that’s all a bit too much, frankly.

“It’s not a weekend-away picnic, is it? It’s a Grand Prix, it’s a serious business. It’s a dangerous business, but that’s probably me being of an older generation.

“They [Ferrari] don’t have a choice. They’ve employed two of the best drivers in the world. You then manage them as best you can.”
